Welcome to my channel guys for the past two weeks I've been playing around with a certain product and by the title you already know what I'm talking about today, beeswax, I'm not looking for a product that is anti frizz. You know I live in Alabama, it's humid! It'S summer, so I've been needing something that just you know, cuts back on the frizz, because my Styles are not lasting. That long I'll do a twist out today and tomorrow and I need to wash it on the third day. I can usually make them last longer, like maybe four days, but now I've been noticing that the frizz is just too much. I went through my stash looking around and I found the beeswax cuz my husband wanted me to like his hair and everything. I don't know where we stand on that, but we still have it here. So I was like mmm. We use beeswax to lock dreadlocks and I my sister used to have locks as well, and she used to use beeswax as well, and just thinking of you know, dreadlocks it locks it and you know, holds the stuff in place. So I was like how about I try this as a styler, but before I did that I had to go online and read a little bit about it like because you know when you think of dreadlocks and these whites, you think, oh, if I do a twist Out is my hair gon na lock in everything, but then no it's not the product that locks the hair UK. It just helps to hold it in place. So I was like okay reading a little more and here's. What I found out. These wax is insoluble in water, and this means that it repels water, okay, nothing coming in nothing going out. Beeswax is not water sprint. This means that it's an anti immanent, which is awesome, because that's what we're trying to fight water here - people, okay, styling here with beeswax, so many people use it as an edge tamer. They use it. You know to get rid of flyaways and everything because it holds you here in place if you're doing a slicked look, if you're doing a bun or whatever people use that like and of course, ultimately, people use it for dreadlocks and when you're styling you here with Beeswax, it's important to make sure that this is the last step. Moisturize put your leave-in conditioners, rinse it with water and everything, and just like you do with oils and butters use beeswax as a sealant because, like I said it's insoluble in water, it's an ant. You make tint that means that it repels water, so if you're, to put that first, no water's gon na go in once you put your beeswax on the air, it means that the water that's inside is stuck in in the water. That'S outside is stuck out, but I will say is that you don't need to avoid the scalp, but you don't want just part of buildup on your scalp because from what I've been reading and from what I've learned, because I've been playing with it for about the Past two weeks, it's kind of hard to get rid of beeswax when you put it in your hair, especially if you use it constantly it heavily coats the hair. So you need to clarify it. You can do the whole co-wash thing and do terrifying conditioners, but trust me, these wax is like a whole. Other beast: you're gon na need to use a shampoo of some kind, but for those who don't want to use a shampoo, I have another remedy for you, olive oil. Now olive oil is awesome and breaking down. Beeswax and awesome like olive oil is just is the bomb it's one of the balm oils. Okay, olive oil has so many uses check out. My blog post put some olive oil on your hair and then um, you know cover it with a plastic cap and let it you know heat up and do his thing wash it up with warm water and their beeswax gone. This tile was achieved using a beeswax. Now the beeswax that I use and I'm in the process of looking for a whole natural, 100 percent natural beeswax, because these have other things in them like if you want to see like this - is the whole ingredient section, there's so many ingredients in there and ingredients That I don't use on my hair - I just use this just to test it out and just to see you know if why beeswax is going to work for me and I'm going to go online and try to find 100 % natural organic beeswax, so that I Use that without the extra chemicals - but this is the one I used to get this braid out it does give you hair shine. It does give you hair hold. I did while I was styling. I did put it on my edges and it is like they're not slicked back like you use edge, control or gel or anything, but they are in place. My hair is in place for about two hours I was in and out of the house before it started raining, because it's been raining here in you can see like the lighting is, but then yeah for about two hours. I'Ve been in and out of the house, and you know, though it's raining, it's so humid outside I'm in Alabama and my hair is still holding up. It'S not look at that bounce shot. It'S shiny, takedown process was easy. My hair wasn't tangled or matted. I don't have that feeling of stickiness when I put like my hair feels moisturized um, my hair. My hair feels moisturized. Thank you so much for watching. I love you for watching I'll, see you guys soon. Okay, black

Dee Bestest: When I was a little girl my sister would use beeswax to do my rope twists and my hair would stay neat ALL MONTH. Now that I'm natural again I'm thinking of using it to do my rope twists. I figure that I'd use the same method I use to take down my protective styles to remove the beeswax. ACV + water in a spray bottle for my roots and then water as hot as I can handle for the length of my hair and also to help remove shed hairs. And you're right! I would have to moisturize thoroughly before adding beeswax.

Samuel Baldwin: I would look for beeswax being sold by local beekeepers and farmers. I get my beeswax from a local farm and it is super cheap. You’d have to melt it down yourself and add in some oils yourself but it’s pretty simple. Also your hair looks amazing ❤️

Jasmine Padgett: Your hair looks amazing and so shiny!

DollyDomDom: Awesome video!!!! SOO happy I can still use a cowashing regimen while using beeswax! You are the bomb.com❤

Nicole Zyon: Also sister apple cider vinegar is really good in helping to remove beeswax from the hair. If you want another option. Thank you girl for thus video. Love from London xx

Peppermint: 95% of Ebay sellers sell fake beeswax, mixed with other products including flagrance and color. The actual smell of real beeswax like the one in this video is a sweet honey flagrance that you can smell from several feet away.

Aurelie Appasamy: I haven't tried bees wax yet but will do. Apparently bees wax contain was esters which is produced by sebum. And you mention olive oil, olive oil contains squalene which is also found in sebum. Am thinking of dissolving some beeswax in olive oil and using that on my hair to mimic the effects of sebum. Also am not sure why you would want it not to build up on your hair? I was under the impression that having the wax coating your hair is a good thing and provide protection against dehydration? Any ideas on this?

BLISS: Yes...great review of beeswax. you're absolutely correct it is another beast that's why I only use it in my ends....and yes use a clarifying product to wash the product out

Naturally Better: I bought my wax online form Bee Keeper. Cheep, fresh, all natural. Came in one flat slice in envelope, he, he.

Pink Light: I wonder if it will clog my drain?

Esebia Mantey-Soudy: So I want to create my own pomade and whipped shea butter, because it's so hard to find finishers/sealants that don't include humectants and i've been stuck on beeswax...i've been finding conflicting articles and people saying that beeswax is a humectant and some saying that it is an anti-humectant...have you found the all natural beeswax? How did it work for you in humidity?
