Hey Quick Fixers, what's up Tia Mowry here and you know, I've been having loads of fun just styling, my natural curly hair, and I wan na show you this romantic curly look and how I do it by using a technique called the dry, twistout. (, optimistic music. ), So this is my hair dry and basically, what I'm doing is I'm combing it out with this amazing comb? That'S a detangler.! You want something like this, because it's easier to comb your hair.. This is my natural texture.. When I comb my hair out, it tends to straighten a little bit.. How about we just stop right here, (, laughs! ). Could you imagine me walking down the street like this? Be like hey? What'S up? Actually, you know what's really cool, You can wear your hair like this and just go. If you want to., This is actually really cute.. You'Ll see how it looks when I'm all done., So I'm just gon na just this. Take this comb right here and I'm just gon na make a part, and I'm just gon na put my hair into sections.. I'M telling you guys I am having so much fun with my natural hair, like just finding really cool easy styles.. I'M actually working on this show right now for Netflix called family reunion and for the first time in years, since Sister Sister, I am wearing my natural curls on television and I'm just so incredibly excited about that.. So make sure you guys check that show out.. It'S coming out pretty soon. I'll, let you know all about it.. So, even though my hair is dry, I'm gon na add some product and what this product is gon na. Do it's gon na give it a nice shine.. It smells so good., (, laughs, ). This smells so good.. So what this actually is? It'S a twisting butter.. How cool is that There's a product just for twisting your hair., I'm not gon na put a lot of product on here because again this is a dry twistout and you can do a wet twistout if you want to as well.. That is when your hair is wet., So this is a dry twistout.. I'M just gon na put a little bit of product in there.. Add this product as needed., So I'm just gon na start from the top here and I'm just gon na start twisting my hair.. What'S so cool about this style or just this step is you can actually sleep with your hair like this and in the morning you can just take it out and you'll have really nice curls., So I'm just gon na twist. It all the way down., It's the twisting - that will actually create a curl pattern and I just fastened it with a rubber band. So it doesn't unravel.. So you just continue to twist your hair until your entire head is done, which will probably be about eight to 10 twists.. Look at this. This is starting to look like a style already.. All my hair is done and look at how cute and fabulous this is.. I actually can start doing my errands. If I wanted to., I can go to the grocery store. I can have lunch with my best friend.. I can go to the park with my daughter. I can just chill.. I can be doing all of this, knowing that my curl pattern is being set. In order for you to get a noticeable curl pattern. You have to just leave these twists like so for about an hour and then afterwards, you have beautiful fabulous, curls., Curls, glorious curls. So an hour has gone by. Let me take these twists out and check out these curls.. So I'm just gon na carefully untwist. You wan na, be careful. So you don't damage the curl, and what I like to do is just add a little bit of oil to get some extra shine in there. There we go kind of get rid of the frizzes.. I mean I don't mind too much frizz.. I actually like it when it's big and poofy. The bigger the better., I like to add a little bit of essential oils in there, whether it's sandalwood lavender.'Cause. It really makes your hair smell, (, laughs, ), divine and there's just something about the essential oils that just stays in your hair, all day.. It'S a little tip that I do.. I did the big chop about four years ago and the reason why I did that was because I would put lots of heat on my natural hair that I no longer had my voluminous curls. They went bye bye., They went away and I was very sad. You're. Getting these really cool curls without putting heat to your hair. ( laughing ) Voila. This is looking really nice and big just the way I like it., Look at this. This is so cool.. I just love how natural and just big this look is, and also what I like to do to make it even bigger. I just like to take a pick and just pick it out at the roots of the hair, just giving it even more volume'cause again, like I said I like, for it to be really nice and big.. What'S so cool about this dry twistout is you can rock your hair like this., (, giggle, ), Vogue, vogue, vogue, vogue., (, laughs, ) Or you can put it in different styles and I can show you that. So what I like to do, I just like to Take a little rubber band like this pin it right, here. Take the other side, and just do this really cute half up half down look.! Oh my gosh yeah girl. You look cute., (, laughs, ). I like this style because it's fun it's flirty, it's cute.! You can go on a date with this hairstyle, but I mean look at how quick and easy that was. Or what you can do is just I love ponytails.. I just think that they're just so much fun., You can just push all of your hair up and I like for it to be just really high, like this. All the way up and just kind of to the side a little bit and then what I like To do is just take a little piece of the hair wrap it around, like this., (, laughs, ), Bobby pin, it. Ding, (, laughs ). So what are your three wishes? Tia, Peace, love and health for everyone.? I would wear this to the movies doing errands throughout the day. Something'S, that's just really easy, cute and flirty. Also, the longer you leave the twist in, the more definition you will have . Yours is fabulous as is, just sharing a few tips in case anyone wanted to try incorporating these .

Last summer I finally took the initiative and researched and now have healthy springy curls just like you! Tia you should try the three strand twist out, it gives even more definition while keeping the same pattern that you’re going for. ❤️
