What'S up guys, This video is going to be all about hair, taking care of either bleached and/or pastel hair.. First, I'm going to go over some hair care 101 for bleached hair, something that everybody who's thinking about. Getting their hair bleached or has bleached hair should know. And then secondly, I'm going to go over my favorite products, I use to keep up with this., So hair care 101. 1., Wash your hair less.. I wash my hair average once or twice a week, and that's because you want to keep the natural oils in your hair as much as you can, because when you bleach your hair, your hair's very dry and damaged., You just don't want to mess with it. That much., When you get your hair, wet it's also weaker, it's easier to break., So you just want to deal with that. Less. Wash your hair, less. 2. Use purple shampoo.. Purple shampoo's purpose is to get rid of the yellow/brassy tones from bleached hair and it's because purple contrasts from yellow. If you know your color wheel., Basically the purple tones out the yellow so that your hair is more neutral and more cool-toned. 3.. Invest in deep conditioning and protein treatments because your hair needs it., So I'll go into my favorite products later on. 4., If you can take it wash your hair in cold water., Hot water opens up the hair follicles and makes it easier for the color and dye To strip out., If you use cold water, then you can keep your color fresher for longer and also it keeps your hair less frizzy.. Personally, I use lukewarm water to wash my hair because I can't stand the cold., But I sometimes will blast my hair with cold water at the end of a shower just to seal the follicles up and make it less frizzy. When I get out. 5. Only use wide tooth combs to tame your hair., I stopped using brushes because brushes are too much and they'll pull on your hair and break it. If it's too damaged., You just want to be as gentle with your hair as possible. So it's best not to even touch it, but if you have to tame it then use a wide tooth. Comb., 6., No heat., Your hair is already damaged and fragile. So it's best to not use heat like blow-drying, your hair with hot air or using curling, irons or straighteners.. I stay away from heat as much as I can.. If I need to blow-dry my hair, I will use the warm and the cold setting.. I'Ve only had to curl my hair once or twice since it's been bleached and it breaks my heart when I use it, but I had to in those situations. But just try to stay away from heat.. Also, if I want curls, then I will sleep in a twisted braid or I'll use, foam curlers.. So just any method that does not require heat. 7.. Get your hair trimmed regularly.. If you have bleached damaged hair, then you need to make sure you are taming. Those split ends and make sure your hair is always fresh, as can be.. Next I'm going to get into my favorite products to use to take care of my hair.. First of all, I love to use a coconut oil mask, and I use this before I wash my hair. Coconut oil is awesome for your hair, because it's most similar to the oils that your scalp naturally produces.. You just apply the oil into your hair. Let it soak in there and get it all oily. Leave it on for at least one hour., The longer you leave it on the better, so sometimes I'll leave it on overnight. After I wash my hair with purple shampoo I'll, usually put on a deep conditioning and/or Protein treatment and I've been alternating between these three products., So I will use something once or twice a week because you don’t want to deep condition too often.. My favorite hair mask is this one by Macadamia Oil and it's the Deep Repair Masque. You leave it on. For up to seven minutes in the shower, and then you rinse it out., And I love this because it makes my hair feel the softest out of everything that I use. And I just love that soft feeling.. If I'm in a rush - and I don't quite have time for a hair mask - then I will use this Keratin 2 Minute Reconstructor by ApHogee.. This is more about putting protein back into your hair, so it makes your hair stronger. And you just leave it on for two minutes, wash it out, then condition. And lastly, I will use this Moroccan Oil, Restorative Hair Mask and this one I used to use. Quite often, but not as much anymore, because I love the Macadamia Oil masque more., Although this brand Moroccan Oil is highly reviewed and very trusted and loved on the internet. After I get out of the shower, I will towel-dry my hair, very gently, and I will use This leave-in conditioner by It's a 10., This one's called Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin, and it is awesome. You spray it all over your damp hair and I just massage it in there.. Sometimes you can comb it through, but what it does is it just makes your hair softer and it feels less tangle-y when you get out of the shower, so love this. Throughout the week. If your hair feels dry still, then I recommend putting argan oil in your hair.. It doesn't really matter what brand of argan oil just put some kind of argan oil into your hair., A popular one. Is this one by Moroccan Oil., It's the Moroccan Oil Treatment.. It'S basically argan oil that smells really good, and this brand is very trusted, so I would recommend this. I've used up this bottle, so what's inside is actually coconut oil, so disregard that.. I just like to use the pump instead of scooping out coconut oil.. It just feels cleaner. And lastly, if you have super-duper damaged or recently bleached hair, then I may recommend this ApHogee Two-Step Protein Treatment.. It'S for intensely damaged hair though.. I used this after I did an all-over bleach and my hair felt super weak.. I just really needed to save it, so what this does? It adds protein back into your hair.. It'S this product that dries and makes your hair feel hard, and then you wash out the protein out of your hair and you use this balancing moisturizer to just condition. It., It's pretty intense. You're only allowed to use this once every six weeks. I've used it once or twice. I believe., But I stopped using it because my hair is a lot better now after time to rest and using all these other treatments.. So that's if you seriously need it and if you do, I get it. Bleached hair is a lot to take care of, and so I hope after this video, you kind of get a feel for how high-maintenance it is. But if you love it, then you love it and you're going to do what it takes to get it.. That'S how I feel. I love my hair.. I love playing around.. I love trying products., So I don't mind., But you have to consider whether it is fitting for your lifestyle or not so to each their own.. I hope this video was helpful. Thanks for watching.. If you liked the video, then please give it a thumbs up.. If you have any hair care tips or products you want to share, then leave them in the comments.. I will see you guys in the next one. Bye.

Ms. Lou Lou: My Gosh! Finally someone that isn’t endorsing their own products! It seems like most of the big YouTubers are giving us products that they are making money off of. Thank you for giving us a truthful video about products that are already out there!

Madelyn Nicole: just bleached my hair for like the 4th time in the past 2 years ughh it's such a bad texture right now. but I'm working slowly on getting it back on track thank you for this video!

CherryWallflower TV: I don't bleach my hair but I straighten it like everyday so I definitely needed to hear some of these suggestions for improving damaged hair!

Xiaotong Wang: Thank you so much for sharing those hair care hacks for bleached hair. I really need it now. I dyed my hair black blue a month ago, and the blue just gone too fast, and left just black, so I wanted to dye a more obvious blue, so I bleached my hair three times at once to get rid off the black. And right now, I got denim hair, but really damaged hair....... I'm soooooo sad about it, because it's so weak that makes me regret to bleach...... But I hope my hair will get better after I try your ways to maintain my hair. Hope they will get alive again.

Claudia Batista: Such a great video! I've been thinking about dying my hair for a long while and these tips hit the spot :) I have a question, though, how do you mantain the color if you exercise daily? Dry shampoo?

Nanette Lui: Thanks for the video, it was super informative! I've been considering dying my hair a pastel pink, but I'm a little scared to, only because I have been told by many that I have a warm undertone. I'm curious to know if you do too, because (if you do, regardless) your hair looks great. Thanks!

Fa A: Thank you for the tips :) I just really wouldn't recommend the morroccan oil brand because the smoothness that it makes it feel is because of the silicones in it. The first ingredient is silicone followed by 2nd and third silicone ingredients if you stop using it it makes it totally dry. True Arganoil is expensive.

AleVie13: I know you didnt mention clariol shimmer lights (shampoo and conditioner) in your video..but it is truly a God send! Try it out :)) i dilute the conditioner with some white conditoner and use it as a toner whenever i feel like refreshing my silver/grey blonde hair. Best wishes x

Karen Santana: Love the tips! I just bleached my hair about a month ago and my hair feels like elastic each time I wash it .. It's extremely bad do you recommend me to trim it a bit? Or just start using treatments ?

Andrea Greaney: This is so helpful! I have been thinking about bleaching my hair!

Rebekah Joseph: Use a wooden brush. It helps to distribute the oils in your hair and the bristles are wide.

Straingelove: Great info, awesome tips thank you!!!!!!! And omg I love your hair.

Clarissa: I use a wet brush my hair is very platinum. I always stay away from heat no blow drying I only curl my hair when it’s a special occasion. I also get a Brazilian blowout that has helped my hair

Mittie Tucker: I do not have bleached/pastel hair obviously but I do get regular Brazilian blowouts and once a year it seems like my hair gets limp and sheds. I use the aphogee txs and all these tips mentioned in ur video and my hair is super shiny and soft.

Vanessa Linares: Thank you so much, this helped a lot!

Charlotte: Hey! I like your video :) I've made once pretty similar about how to make your hair grow faster. I'm happy I've found your channel! ^^

ShaesWonders: Will you ever do a video on how you got your hair like that? I want to try something like that

The Bixby Bunch: What purple shampoo do you suggest? I just dyed my hair purple two weeks ago.

ChelsCreates: Thank you for the advice. I LOVE maracan oil because I have EXTREMELY thick frizzy hair that feels practically like dog hair. I have to stick that shit in to make it shiny and smooth.. I REALLY want to chop off all my stupid curls, get a funky pixie and dye it lavender. I wanted to know about what to expect first thought. Thanks for the tip. (I'm so happy there's a maracan oil mask! UGH! LOVE THAT SHIT!)

Kathi Thul: I love your videos:) and I really like your haircolour its so different and fits you great:)

Osheen Siva: Thanks for you share, it really helped.  Plus your hair color is perfection!

Mahue: Advice for great hair is too wash it with coconut milk and then put coconut oil in your hair before bed and leave it in until morning then wash it out with hot water. you're hair will be healthy and shiny.

dora: I have a question. My natural hair colour is dark brown. I went to my best friend on a hair cut (she is not a professional, just has experience with hair) and while she was cutting my hair, I asked her if she could bleach it. She did. Now, since my hair is very very thick, and it has very good quality, it is not damaged. But I got like a yellowish/orange hair, and on the roots it was like white. I want to try white hair, but I am very scared that I will damage it if I bleach it again. If you could tell me what to do, or is there any other way to get rid of the orange colour. I like it, but just in case I want to go to like, white. Thanks

ChelsCreates: What purple shampoo/conditioner(s) do you use?

blue: I LOVE YOU LAVI . THANK U FOR THIS

PMD90: is it OK to use purple shampoo on my dark purple hair? or this will remove the color faster?

Fern Cook: thank you so much! super helpful :))

Brittany Vargas: What's a good almost everyday shampoo for bleached hair? I wash my hair every 3 days but don't want to use the purple shampoo every time.

Arifaaah: How often do you use purple shampoo?

Mica: Do you have split ends? You hair looks so healthy ! :)

Julie Le: Do you use purple shampoo every time you wash your hair? I know it can dry out your hair.

White Kitsune Tarot: I've got baby pink hair and it's really hard to maintain the colour x.x" mostly because my hair is fine by nature so it gets oily (roots...) easily :c I'm trying to wash my hair twice a week only but sometimes even with a dry shampoo it just looks... dirty and blah... what's funny (but still good xD ) is that my hair is not really damaged. it's still super soft somehow and luckily also naturally shiny, even not dry at all! but still, yeah, there's this oiliness problem... any tips on that? :c

t!ffanyyy: I tried using your advice to use a wide-tooth comb but my its so hard. It takes me like 35 minutes to comb everything. What do I do?

Chxrwn: I would love to see a review on the " Garnier Wunder Butter 3 in 1 repair " idk if its only available in Germany? i cant find it somewhere else basically but i would love to see it

Inha Kim: I dont use too many things for hair... only shampoo, conditioner, oil serum.... busy to apply all the steps that many guidance let me know... it's bothering even to dye the newly-come out roots of my hair every month.

Chie Chie: thank you for this!

Angelea Ishida: did the aphogee 2 step treatment made your hair stronger after one use?

Valentina M: I'm thinking of bleaching only a strip of my very short hair( pixie cut), but I don't want to buy a whole bottle of shampoo for one strip. Any tips?

Amber Correa: I tried looking for a video of what you use to dye it, can you tell me the pastel lavender you use?

kawaiii leo: if I have pink hair should I keep using the purple shampoo or stop?

LuckyLifeguard: aight ok this might sound like a dumb ass question but could you theoretically try to dye your shampoo/conditioner with some natural dye to make it purple??

Valentina M: Thanks!

sky saenz: @lavendaire i know you use purple shampoo for belached hair for brassiness. But after you color it like a dark pink. Do you still use a purple shampoo??

Julia Trinh: hi i just bleached my hair from asian black to light brown, is purple shampoo good for me??

daniela rocha: i just got highlights and im looking for a good shampoo, so  i was wondering where you bought your joico shampoo?

Graciella Reina: ive bleached my hair sooo much ): and i just recently dyed my hait back to a normal color literally a week and a half ago. but i want to bleach it again lol! my hair is really really really fried. like it breaks soo much and its all elastic. i dont want my hair falling out any more lol! what should i do ):! i dye my hair soo much its hard for me to keep it one color

Evelyn Soria: Did you JUST use purple shampoo and then the deep condition? Or purple shampoo + purple conditoner AND THEN deep conditioner ?

Alexa Sunshine83: love that lipstick color ❤️

Alexandra Worang: Thankyou!

leechanghwang:

Jessica Ruiz: Pro Naturals is my preference

thx1085: if you have to stay away from heat then how did you get it straightened??

C D: Whether the water is hot or cold does not matter.

claudatz1: Bu how can you put oil in your hair just like that? Even argan oil which is light, it makes my hair looks so greasy :(

Naty Fernandez: I’d recommend Karmin 4 Step Hair Repair System

totzoz: Can I do hair Botox on pastel hair? Is it gonna fade or something

ChelsCreates: What purple shampoo/conditioner(s) do you use?

Prachi Shah: But what if I look horrible without straightening and I have bleached hair? I need to straighten them every time I wash them.

Princess kitty: im mixed with black and white heat is the only way for my hair . lol

Chandler Chestnutt: Do you have any other hair care videos?

Stef: Haha "damn hair" I know she says damp But the assumed is funnier

liz liz: Yeah where I come from if you don't shower u nasty so I'm gonna shower everyday plus my hair gets very oily after 1 day I shower with cold water everyday I hate hot/warm water like even washing my hands I use cold water I use combs from Walmart I don't think I get my haircut like once every 2 years I don't think this lifestyle is for me

Calvin G.L: So hard to find the product in longgggg video.

Grisel Fabián: What's the color of your hair?

Stephanie D: I bleach my hair

私は美しい です💋: U should tell us where did u buy those products and how much it is cost u. Tsk tsk not complete detail

Alannah Lee: anyone 2021
