[Styling Short Hair] With Healium Hair

Hi, I'm Beth DeMaio president and CEO of Helium hair. One of our biggest questions is how to use our products styling very short, hair. I have wracked my brain trying to figure out how to show you guys what what hey girl, I'm you you wanted to know how to do a shorter style right. I'M gon na show you using 3 products come on. Let'S go most, women want to know. How can I get more volume in my style, myself included. First step layer, 1 layer 1 is heat activated and has resins in it that actually expand with heat. To give a thicker fuller feel to the hair. It'S called layer. 1, because it's meant to be the first layer in the hair on top of layer 1, I'm going to apply our air with mousse air, whit mousse is a volumizing mousse, and a little bit goes a long way. I want to show you: our cans. Are tamper resistant? The seal needs to be broken on your first application. To make dispensing easier, you can see a little bit goes a long way. It doesn't fall apart or dissipate and we're going to work this through right on top of our layer, one from root to end. Now I'm going to go in with my blow-dryer and get this dry to about 80 % using just my hands once we're at about 80 to 90 % I'll go in with my round brush to add more volume there at the root. Now, as you can see with my hands, I'm working that hair into the direction that I want it to lay. So you can see I'm coming over this way and not this way, and I'm also going to be pulling that hair up to create a little bit of lift not down. Volume is what we're trying to achieve here. It doesn't take very long to dry a hair. This short does its so as the hair starts to dry, I'm going to go in with my round brush. This is a goody two inch barrel and I'm going to start lifting that hair away from the scalp in the direction that I'm trying to achieve Wow. That'S some volume also know that all helium products have sunscreens to protect color. So if you have a gorgeous expensive color like this, all helium products will help extend that color at longevity. Another quick tip to hold in some gorgeous shine to your hair when you're done with your blow-dry go over your style with just a burst of cold air. That'S going to help seal the cuticle and lock in that gorgeous shine. Oh powers out hold that thought. Okay, now we're back in business as I'm drying. I am working that hair in the opposite direction of how I want it to lay it's going to create this lift here at the root that I'm trying to achieve. You said you wanted volume right. You can see. I'M concentrating my heat right there at the root. I want to make sure that that resin is heat activated, to expand, to create that thicker fuller, feel and give me the volume and hold you can see. Now that I've got my lift at the root I'm going in and the ends and I'm Direction them in the style that I'm trying to achieve. Okay, now that I'm dry, I want to go in and add some dimension in here. I want to showcase not only the color but the lift as well, and not just have one big roll and I'm going to do that with my fiber flex. Fiber flex is a gel base in an aerosol spray, so it has a firmer stiffer finish to it. It can be used five different ways in the hair I'm going to be using it today for volume at the root, as well as hold so we're going to go in in sections here and spray, and if you needed to you could go in with your brush Or your comb and you could backcomb in there if needed. I feel that I'm gon na have as much lift as I need just with the products themselves, so this has a wet spray to it, but it obviously has a firm hold finish, so it allows you to work it through the hair while it dries. I want to get a little bit of lift back here with my shorter pieces, and I want this size to be a little more teamed down, get a little divided here, piece that all helium products are water-soluble, so they do rinse out with water. They are also paraben free, they are sulfate free, they are color safe and they are keratin safe as well for more hold but movement to my style. I could go in and finish with our ear hair spray.
