Slikhaar TV is a hairstyling channel for men founded by the twin brothers Emil & Rasmus. We give you new hairstyle inspiration every week: Tutorials, how-to videos, celebrity and footballer hairstyles, and professional tips to optimize your hair and overall style.

I'M doing it I'm doing it hi guys. Thank you very much for tuning in on slick hair TV, so they'll show you how you shave your head, I'm just totally kidding I'm telling you about the awkward face of growing your hair out my hair right now. It'S very long and and to show you how long it is and volumize thick and very hard to manage, so you can see it's very big. The only reason why I have a decent hairstyle today. It'S because I try to control it as much as possible. Now give you some tips and tricks on how to do it, because, when you're growing out one of the most common issues you get more volume on the top, your head will be more round. It doesn't look sharp, so tip number. One first thing you have to do is lay down the sides. It'S some of the most important parts and the sides when they get longer, then you can actually see it's growing out of your ears, not out of your scouring. Your ears take your trimmer and then see if you can clear your ears just here with with the sideburns, it looks a lot more nice and well-groomed tip number two. When I get out of the shower in the morning, I recommend that you will not blow dried entirely dry here at the sides, because it's going to increase the volume a little bit. So if you go about damp hair and then you can add some of the sidekick spray because it has a very high concentration of hold - you can also apply a little bit of hair. Wax, doesn't actually matter that much what you're using at the sides. It'S just important that you get it as heavy as possible and you get us much control away. It has to look equal with the top, so not super shiny at the sides and dry at the top tip number three. Then you have the unmanned uShip unmanageable top. That'S something you it's it's some serious length I have here, as you can see, is it's at least 16 to 20 centimeters. You would actually like to chop off a little bit as it grows out depends on what hairstyle you're going for. I like long top and sort of undercut textured style. Then it's it's mostly the back head, it's becoming too round. So I recommend that you visit the hairdresser once in a while. Normally I go every month, but if you don't have the budget or if you just like to extend your visit a little bit, then do it every second month, no no longer than that I've not recommend tip number four. When you grow out your hair, then you have to keep in mind. If you apply hair products every day and you dry your hair with a blow dryer, then you could damage the ends of the hair stroke. So it's just nice to get it refreshed. So you get, I would say, half a centimeter chopped off, so it looks nice and healthy again. You don't have to worry about it. It'S actually very good for your hair to get that kind of haircut tip number five. You can use a head or beanie. I used this one in the morning if it's rainy, because when I have styled my hair and at all it's all blow-dried, then I know that I'm not going to destroy the hairstyle with like with a cap or a hat. It'S just you know putting it all to place and decreasing the volume of the hair. So when I buy sign it to work and it's a little bit rainy, it's protecting the hair from getting frizzy and all wavy again. When I take it off at the office, then it's all laid down and I can just take the fingers food, the volume and the in the front here it's not too big, but I don't really care it's just very nice and manageable and I can move around With it, you can do a little touch-up. If you have it's frivolous eyes in your pocket, then you can add a little bit of wax and then get the volume up. It'S very easy when you have done a proper blow, dry.if number six. The last thing I would like to encourage you to do is to make sure to bloom your sides. You should take care of your beard, then your sides there they are also growing out, get you a partner or a good friend, make a touch up with a trimmer and then make sure to get the long hairs removed. So you look fresh not only around with your wine, but also your hair and all around anyway. Thank you very much for watching the episode just sitting out there and, if you're growing out your hair, especially, we would like to know if you have some hair, hacks and tips we haven't talked about today. Also remember that you can visit our community on Facebook. Vít Kováč: 1. control your sides 2. less blow-dry on sides 3. reduce top volume 4. trim off your ends 5. use a hat 6. groom your neck

Amy Ashcraft: I’m a lady who chopped my long hair off a little over a year ago and now I’m trying to grow it out (almost at your length) and I have to say this is an extremely helpful video! Thank you! I’m trying not to cave in from being at the “awkward” length like I have before so I’m looking for any resources I can to keep holding on lol

Stanley Lubarski: One hack that I've been doing for 20+ years, for my sideburns, when growing my hair out (-and this is ESPECIALLY for those with thick, "whispey" or annoying hair over the ears!) is as follows: First, for best results, make sure you have, two mirrors; one bathroom mirror, and, either another person to hold a hand-held mirror up, so you can better see the side of your head, OR, one of those mirrors that has foldable doors, so you can view the side of your head better... OR, you could have a trusted friend or spouse do this for you... Anyway, while the hair is combed up, and held TIGHTLY to the head, take a T-blade outliner, clippers, or beard trimmer, *with NO GUARD.* Next imagine a straight line from the top of the arch of your ear, going foreward to that little point on your side hairline (usually about 1/3 to halfway up between the top of the ear, and the corner of the forehead, where the front hairline (if you have a full head of hair), meets the side hairline. (Note: even if you have receding hairline, you still likely have that little "point" on your *side* hairline. This is what you want to focus on). Comb and hold hair upward (I usually put water in mine, to keep it in place, against my head)... After combing it upward, on the side of the head, I make that imaginary, straight line from the highest part of the arch over my ear, and the "point" of my side hairline. Then, with hair held tight, take the clippers/T-blade, and carefully press it connecting the arch and the point. You can also shave upward until you meet this line. Shave off all hair below this point. Yes... This little section will be bald, but it is low enough to where it won't be noticeable. Over the next week or two, as the hair stubble grows out, you can: a) grow a full beard b) grow sideburns to desired length. If you choose sideburns, I recommend (when the stubble grows out), cutting them to a length LOWER than normal, as you can always go back and trim them shorter. The beauty of this "hack" is that, say you have your sideburns short (as I did), and you want longer sideburns; simply lift longer hair up again, than shave the sideburns off to the pre-existing "undercut part." Now, in a week or two, cut the sideburns to desired level! I just Clippered-off my short 'burns, and next week, I will cut them lower!

Stanley Lubarski: In 16 years, my wife STILL doesn't understand me putting my hat on (during "in-between" phase) AFTER styling and putting hair product in! I'm in my mid-40s, and by the grace of God (and my mother's genetics) I have a thick and full head of hair...and not too much grey, even! I also have a very major cowlick in the back...especially on the left side of the "crown". This is where the hat does its magic!

Raghav Bansal: Thanks for the tips! What I would do is get my sides trimmed regularly so that the haircut looks fresh.

A.N. Rahman: Couldn't be more perfect time to upload this as I am growing out my hair and wasn't sure what to do with my unmanageable hair. Will follow the tips from now on

ctownballer100: At least you got volume. I can’t stand my hair. I grow it out “don’t like it” so I cut it and figure I’ll try wearing it longer as I’m getting older “can’t stand my hair short” I just cannot find a length I enjoy. Now a week after it’s cut it works good with products.

0gami1tto: I’ve just left mine. I haven’t had a haircut since October last year. If it wasn’t for the lockdown I probably would’ve caved and got a trim but haven’t been able to. It’s long enough to tie up now apart from the back of the head which is annoying. I think in about 3 months I should be able to tie it all up.
