Everyone I'm gon na, be here so today, I'm back with a hair video. I don't even know what to call this, but I'm gon na be testing out some new products that are on the market and I've been seeing a lot of people on YouTube, rant and rave about these products. So I'm gon na go ahead and see how I feel about them, but eco song has came out with some those gels so yeah. I want to test them out and see how they work. Now. I will not be testing them out in like washing go form because you know you guys know like I can do once you go in my hair, but I don't really do them often, because I just got ta lie. Just don't, but I'm gon na be testing them out to see if they're good, for laying down your edges, because you guys know that I use the olive oil one and I love that Jill I've been using it for a lot of years. I know a lot of you guys said that it doesn't work for you on your 4c hair. You guys know I have superfine here is getting thicker than before, but it is still fun and I do have superfine edges. So my hair is pretty like easy to like lay down, so I'm gon na go ahead and test them out. So here we have the Eco style, black, castor, castor and flexi oil. It contains vitamin E, fiber and omega-3 Imus for all hair types, and it looks like this and I'm really filling this packaging like it has a um. I don't even know open and closed lid lit this one. Does it's not a screw cap? So I think that's really cool this one smells like perfume interesting, so in it um this does have water, glycerin and stuff in it. You know in the maximal hold is tin just like the olive oil one, and then we have the coconut oil styling gel. I was a little skeptical about getting this one because I don't really use coconut oil on my hair anymore. I don't use it. I hear anymore because it was like really drying out my hair, but this one for whatever reason on the screws but yeah. This is just the coconut oil one. It looks like this. This one smells like coconut oil, it does smells like coconut. I mean they have like little crystals in them kind of like I don't know if you guys can see. Maybe if I um, you see how it looks like really like sparkling, I'm gon na put the black, castor, flexi oil, one on this side and the coconut oil on the other side of my head and I'm gon na be using the goody out to this man's. They are these ones. I really love these for short hair, like the other ones I like to use like the last ones I like to use those when my hair gets longer for puffs and stuff, but I really like these ones, for when my hair is short and what I like To do is I take it and I just tie it, but this one I don't cook like you guys. Have you watched my older puff tutorials. You guys know that I cut the odds, but these I don't cut. I just put it in a knot and then I just pull it like this, so that's a little tight but not too tight. You know, you know, you know what I'm saying it was exactly the same as the olive oil one. No, dear friends, let me zoom in I mean there we go. I don't have makeup on so, if you see like my makeup coming up with a joke, that's why that is. Why see? I'M just gon na do a little puff, that's it but yeah. It actually feels exactly the same. I will see it it's kind of a little thicker. This is black um, castor oil, flaxseed one! Isn'T it's thicker! It'S definitely thicker. So I'm gon na brush this side up first. Actually, because then I have to wash the brush off to brush up the other side cuz, I really don't want to mix them cuz. I really want to see if it's gon na hold like give me the hole that I and my hair is clean, like I don't have any gel in my hair, but I did use some. What did I use some leave-in conditioner on my hair, so I'm going in with the coconut oil one on this side, and this one seems to be a little looser it's not as thick as a flexi and castor oil one. It smells really good. The coconut blood smells better to me. I don't know that one's like really perfumed alright, so I wiped off the brush, and now I am just gon na brush up my edges like so this is already dirty from Amica. That'S the thing about these bands. I get them so dirty, but they're so good. I, like short, hair. Oh this one is filthy. This is starting to complete so how'd I get it together or what you're doing girl you did it together comment down below mala, get it together? Okay, get it got it good, my pic okay, so I'm gon na pick out my hair bit. Okay. So now I'm going to lay down my edges, y'all know how I do I like to go back in, and this side is the black, castor and flaxseed. So we're just gon na swoop that on around give myself a little nice baby hair situation, I definitely shouldn't have put on makeup before doing this. I don't like what I'm having on makeup. You fried them like bugs, but whatever we're running along, so I'm gon na wipe this off. Oh, no, not coz! I'M gon na slit up this side, stop on the white and then I'm going in with my coat the coconut oil drill and as you can see straight away, my edges are definitely laid down for the most part yeah, so I just are laid down. So you guys are probably wondering what else I'm going to be testing for this Jill and I'm going to see if it flakes that's the biggest thing, because you can use a gel and you can lay down your edges. As you guys see, my edges are laid and, if I put my scarf on my own head, I'm pretty sure they'll be like super late. You guys know how, when I used to do my buns and stuff, like that, how I leave my arm scarves on overnight to really get it flat, so it definitely did lay down my edges. I can definitely save that. Both of them did an amazing job. So when I go to sleep tonight, I am going to take the band off, of course, but I am gon na tie my hair up to keep it in place, because I want to see if they're going to flake on my hair yeah. But do I think they're good for looking down your hair? If you have 5 4 C natural hair, most gels will work to slicked down your edges because your hair is fine, they've, they're working for me so far. So what I'm gon na be testing to see if it's going to flake in my hair and then the coconut oil one, it says it's supposed to stimulate, hair growth and luster and shine and softness. I don't know if it really does that, because it's my first time using them while using the coconut oil one. So we will definitely see if that's going to work but yeah so far, I'm liking it a bit different. They do smell good, so I like them. So yeah they're supposed to be long, lasting in no tack or no flake so we'll see tomorrow when I come back on camera, if I have any four lates going on, you know, I'm keep it real with y'all yeah, I'm gon na know, and if you guys See like a little white, that's definitely nothing Jail. That'S just a mix. The products mixed from the leave-in conditioner that I use on my hair, so yeah I'll, be back tomorrow to let y'all know how and show y'all how my edges look if they play if they're hot super hard. So I feel like it gave I really maximum hold or not we're gon na see we're definitely going to see, and this is only a test for. Like my edges, I really don't know how this will work on my forehead. I'M definitely gon na wait and see how well my hair grows out a bit longer how these two gels are gon na work. When I do buns and stuffs the next day and as you can see where I applied the coconut oil gel, I do have some flaking, as you guys can see it here and then on that side of my head, I applied the Jamaican black, castor oil and I do have some flaking on that side as well, but it's not as bad as the left side, which has the coconut oil. So if I had to choose for flakiness, I would definitely choose the castor oil one over the coconut oil one. Neither one of the gels are attacking, but, like I said before, I do prefer the coconut oil smell over the castor oil one, so I still would probably use both of them, even though the coconut oil diff, like in my hair, a bit more so yeah, that's Pretty much my review of the new eco styler gel, let me know in the comments below what you guys think about the new eco styler gel, and what do you think about my results? I hope this video was helpful thanks for watching, and I will see you all on my next one. Bye

Mona B.: I guess the Coconut Oil Gel isn’t new, but its new to me lol!! I hope you all enjoy this video! Don’t forget to comment below your thoughts about it. Love you guys!!!

Dinah Harvey: We know everyone has different texture of hair. All products works differently for each one. I've used the castrol/flaxseed and argan one. First time with argan gave me a nice curl definition without flaking, flaxseed gave me flakes. As women of color you just have to experiment with all products to see what's right for you.

Blair Taylor: The Eco Styler Cocktail Gel works fantastic for me. I love the fact that this gel does not flake in my hair and it doesn't weigh down my hair

Wanjiku M: Did you test how the different eco style gels mix with your leave in conditioner? That's the best test to know whether or not you'll end up having flakey hair.

Aliyah: I bought both the flaxseed oil like a few months ago and I use it all the time but i bought the coconut one about a week ago and it doesn't lay down my hair and it flakes for me alot!

Gushkie: It definitely works on your full head, because i normally do puffs and use the Eco Olive Oil gel. Love your vids

Ali B: Great video, thanks for showing how they worked on your hair!! well I think that everyone is different so I don't think everyone will have flake, but great video!! love your channel

Nona Yobiz: I use the castor oil and flaxseed exobstyler....awesome wash n go. Not still and no flakes!

SMG: Hoping I can use this. My edges stand like soldiers no matter what I use.

Kezia: Your TWA is gorgeous. Have you ever tried Hair N'tuition's She Knows Curly Cream. It would take care of those stubborn patches that won't curl and the dryness. They have a Youtube video for it.

Bre's Natural Life: Your eyebrows are cute! Are you using a new product? Have you tried As I Am smoothing gel?

Messelina Mapala: The eco styling gel argan oil works best for me. I blind bought the one with coconut oil and did nothing yet the person who sold it to me told me all the gels work the same

Samoya Rowe: I recently bought the argan oil one for my 4c hair and it doesn't work. The olive oil one is my fave. Haven't tried these two

monica parker: Thanks Mona for sharing if it flakes or not. That is always a big problem for me when I buy products.

Latoya Jamin: Your hair is growing nice.... just keep it up. Looks also healthy. like before. Love it.

Candi Denise: Hi yes your video was very helpful. I have fine hair as well and I havent tried those gels as yet.

Kenna: WE USE THE EXACT SAME TOOTHBRUSH FOR EDGES

Moll662: Olive oil doesn’t work but the krystal works great

Anastasia Otabil: How do I lay my edges I use the eco style but when it dries it turns white

Kezia: She Knows Curly Cream. It would take care of those stubborn patches that won't curl and the dryness. They have a Youtube video for it.

Anna Q: Where do you get the band's? I've never been able to find them anywhere

Ramona Williams Robertson: Hello Mona B... I have to go and get some more eco gel ... i've been using the Castro oil for the last month and it's good but I don't see any growth .. I haven't had any experience with the olive oil so for hair growth I want to know which product is the best one to use

Dreena Gordon: i bought the coconut oil Eco styling gel last month n I have it

Patty Caswell: GM could the flakes be from the mix of the makeup with the gel when you pushed the headband back? Just wondering what you think?

Elba Ibarguen: Hiiii Mona, what is that you apply to ur hair, which leaves it shiny??? On the forehead

ThePaletteWhisperer ASMR: On some deep ish, I wonder where the act of laying our edges began with anyway...

Monica Gross: Beautiful

Grace Sabla: Awww how I wish to see your wash nd,go cos I trusted everything u do about the short hair I guess I just try nd errors, but still will use the band beautiful

Ar'Dorn: Can you please do a video of how to get healthy hair & how to grow your hair?

Anniesha Grant: I use the coconut oil one and it doesn’t flake

Divine Princess: Where did you get the hair band from please

I stan: I have the first gel but it doesn't really work for me

Jade Mcdowell: I honestly can't find any gels that work for my high porosity hair. I tried to olive oil does not work I have tried edge controls they do not work. I just don't know what to do at this point, it's so hard trying to love your hair but it just doesn't want to act right with anything.

Kim may: thanks for sharing They not in the Caribbean yet I will surely try them when they get here

Kennedi Howard: The blachcastor oil does not do my edges good I have 4c

emma: What’s the brush
