How I up my YouTube game!

Oh, hey there guys, alright! So that's the kind of intro you get when I forget to film an intro. Sorry about that, so we're just jumping in right away to testing out these can two products, and I am just starting the cleansing process by making sure that my hair is thoroughly thoroughly saturated with water and beginning to scrub. My scalp, with the pads of my fingers, guys if this video has been a long time coming. Thank you all so much for continually requesting that I try these products, so I'm starting off with the creme cleansing shampoo from Cantu. It'S not 100 % clear. There is a little bit of opacity to it, which I thought was a little bit interesting, and this is their sulfate free shampoo. They do have a shampoo in their line that contains a sulfate. This one is the sulfate free one and Han this stuff leathered up. Amazingly, I feel like some people would find in the shampoo to be slightly too clarifying, but I really really enjoyed it. It does contain C, 14 C 16 olefin sulfonate, which is a magnetic build-up remover. It is a fantastic surfactant. I find that when I use low foods that contain that as a surfactant, my hair does really well, but some people find that ingredient to be too cleansing. So I just thoroughly rinse that out of my hair and now I'm going in with the hydrating cream conditioner. I grabbed a way too much on accident. Sorry about that, it's a pretty thick conditioner, but I did find it to distribute very easily through my hair. So here I am just finger detangling, my hair, making sure that I've got that conditioner distributed to every strand on my head. I find that using my fingers allows me to feel where my hair might need some more conditioner and where it would be just fine. So now I'm adding a little bit of water to the back of my head. This really really helps when I do a good, thorough, squish to conditionally helps carry the kid into my hair. Strap, hair, shaft Wow words are hard. I think I say that every video this is the story of my life guys and I'm not gon na lie. I stopped and double triple checked the ingredients to see if there was a silicone in it, because guys this conditioner was super slippery. Has anybody else tried? This conditioner, what do y'all think is it super slippery because it really felt like there were silicones in it, but I double-checked it - and I didn't see me all right now, I'm going in with the moisturizing cream curl activator. This is the product that I think I've been asked to try the most. This is a cult favorite beloved by many, so I'm just making sure that my hair is soaking soaking wet water. Is your friends when styling water is your friend when styling? Now I'm just starting to distribute that over my hair and I did find that it was kind of chunky like, even though I really wanted that in my hands and he will still find it well, it was. It was just kind of chunky going on in my hair, so I made sure to brush that, through with my perfect haircare brush, to make sure that there weren't any chunks since my hair was thoroughly detangled. Already from that conditioner I felt good about running a brush to my hair to distribute the curl activating cream. I'M treating the cream like it's my lead-in, so just adding a little bit of water to it and doing a good old squish to condition that cream starting to really organize and situate. My curl clumps here I stand up and shake the hair off the back of my head. This is absolutely essential for me to make sure that nothing sticks. This keeps the back of my head. Looking nice, when I flip my head right-side up now, I'm going in with the styling stay glue gel. This isn't something I've seen a lot of people talk about, and it's advertised as super hard hold. But can we just appreciate that consistency? It'S so weird. It had like it's a slightly thicker than flaxseed gel kind of kids assistance II, and I really struggled getting it to smooth out in my hands. I just kept smoothing it and smoothing it, and it was. It was really like glue. They named this well and I started squishing it into my hair and it got super super slippery and slimy. It was a really really weird product. It'S not a product that I haven't tried anything else that that's like this. So if you haven't tried this, take blue gel you kind of need to for the price anyway, it is a neat product. So I'm just really taking my time here and gently squishing and pulsing that gel into my hair and as I was doing that I can really feel my curl clumps shrink up and I was having a really good, curl enhancement. Usually, when my hair is this full of water, my curls feel much more elongated. That y'all can see just how much they're bouncing up again standing up and making sure that I'm shaking the hair off the back of my head and making sure nothing stuck and really taking my time squishing this product into my hair, and I was a little bit. Mesmerised with how much my hair was spiraling up, it doesn't normally do this, so that was really really fun and very cool. Now, just giving my hair one final good scrunch and there are the curl clumps all right. So I diffused my hair for about 30 minutes and it was almost dry, but not quite so. I'Ve wandered around my house, let it finish air drying and now I'm ready to scrunch out this crunch and guys I actually have a tiny bit of crunch. Let me see, I can show you what that means now, not so much. My hair is a little bit crunchy for the first time in a long time, so yeah that's kind of fun, something to actually scrunch out. Oh wait. Wait that sections not dry. Let me see waitwait yeah, no, it's not dry, nevermind I'll, be right back. If you scrunch out the crunch before it's dry, you will regret it. It never turns out the way you want boo I'll, be back soon. All right is there such a thing as run out the crunch, because I totally just went out in the backyard and played with my kid, Oh for a little bit, and I feel like a lot of that cast broke up and my hair is completely dry now. But there are a couple places like right here that are a little bit stuck to the back of my head, so I'm gon na go ahead and do my regular scratch and fluff routine to get this cast completely broken up and then I'll show you what it Looks like, but guys I got, ta tell you. I was so weirded out by that gel and I'm kind of really impressed I'm a little freaked out. I'M not gon na lie that gel is so so slippery, like you, first put it in your hands and it gets kind of thick and sticky feeling, but as soon as you put it in your hair, there's a crazy amount of slip with it. It'S very weird Wow what the heck is happening. What is happening right now? Oh, Oh, that spot is still not the stuff from the back of my head, but the front looks really pretty. Okay. This glue may be a real thing. There is a spot, never had a gel with a cast that I couldn't break before. I guess I just got kind of a lot of gel in one spot in the back of my head. The rest of my hair is fine, though look this that's majestic. Y'All. Tell me if I got it unstuck from the back of my head. Let me show you all right, guys I'll be back in the morning to show you how this held up good morning. Let'S take this hair down, see what we're dealing with, because it was looking real good yesterday, all right shouldn't mess with it too much should let it settle down there. We go. Okay, got everything arranged so cute little wavelet all right. Let me turn around and show you how it's holding up or right now and I'll, be back in a couple of minutes to show you how it settle all right guys. It'S been about 15 minutes and my problem area come on camera. There we go. My problem area is definitely my roots, but everything else it was kind of wonky has had a chance to lay down. So now that I can kind of see where everything is going to be for the day, I'm going to refresh a little bit. So this, I don't think I have showed y'all before. Maybe I have I don't know, but what I do is I take the comb and I stick it in my roots and I fluff them. Oh, maybe, okay, you can do it this way. This is similar to fluffing with your fingers, but I like doing this when things are kind of PC at the top, and I would like a more cohesive root look also. This is really hard to do in the viewfinder of the camera and not in the mirror. In the bathroom, oh well, it's almost a way to comb out the roots without destroying all the curl clumps, and the last thing I'm going to do is I'm going to take that mice, one yay, refresh spray that I used in my last one brand wash date. If you missed, it feel free to go check it out to know what's in this mixture, but I am just going to spray a little bit into my hands and I'm not going to smash. But I'm going to smooth this over and scrunch just to catch. Any of those super frizzy, flyaways and kind of help them lay down there. We go very gently, and I'm not using very much at all. This is just to kind of grab anything that's standing up to to crazy. Alright that took care of all the for these. On top, my roots are looking much more put together. Let me go ahead and turn around and show you the back all right, and that is it for this video. This is day 2 hair with all Cantu products and a smidgen of a refresh spray. I hope y'all are having an absolutely fantastic day and I will talk to y'all later bye.

Curly Susie: You gotta try the TXTR line! It’s a little lighter & I LOVE it!!

Michelle Addai: As a 4c,it’s quite refreshing to see a different hair type wash day.lovely video♥️

Brielle Young: Your hair is always soooo shiny and silky and not frizzy at all. Even when you say it’s bad it’s beautiful.... my hair is ALWAYS frizzy, messy, dull. Every product I’ve tried never works. I’m so discouraged and just want hair like yours !!

Calina: Thank you so much Courtney for all you do!! I’m 16 years old and we have the exact same hair color and curl pattern (and we both live in Texas) and you have helped me through every step of my journey❤️ Thank you, we love you!!!

esaladyflaca: For your refresh spray try adding Cantu curl activator cream to a spray bottle with water. Just play with the amounts you add to the water cuz to much can be to heavy depending on hair type. This also works great as a detangler.

Sydney Bodenstein: One of the best curly/wavy hair channels, hands down ❤️

Isabelle Herzog: I haven't started CG so I've just been pouring over the internet collecting research for when I can afford to buy my first CG-friendly set and all of your videos have been amazing!! I especially love the way you talk to your hair. Like you treat it kinda like its own person, almost like a friend, and I really love that! You're critical and honest but also kind and you always use humor and it's so refreshing. Like it's not a beast you're taming, it's a pal you're helping but you recognize that it does its own thing and I really love it!

RealHousewifeRachel: The Cantu is one of my favorite conditioners! My husband bought it for himself and I LOVE IT. The Curl Activator is way too heavy and thick for my hair, but man, that conditioner. It smells divine too!

Marleen G.: The only Cantu product I own is the leave-in, and that is an amazing leave-in. A little thick compared to more "lotiony" leave-ins, but you don't need a lot, and you spread it between palms anyway. I love it. Cantu is definitely underrated! Your hair came out really nice!

Denise: Hi, I am in the transition phase and I have similar curl pattern as you. I notice the Cantu curl activator cream works better on towel dried hair and not on dripping wet hair, my curls really pop that way. Also diffusing is a must for my hair type.

She Is Vermilion: Cantu came out with a new avocado and also a new flaxseed line that might be better for us wavies! Especially the flaxseed as it says it targets frizz. Maybe you can try those sometime?

Sadie McC: Yes! The curl activator cream is the best!! It always gives me the best curl enhancement (as I see it's done for you)! And I'm glad to hear the shampoo is good--I've always been afraid it wouldn't agree with me and would be too moisturizing.

Wes Wayne: I'm helping my friend work on her naturally curly hair. I really appreciate you trying these products out because it helps me narrow down my searching. Thank you so so much! Also, your hair is so gorgeous here!!! Best to you!

madame33licious: I LOVE the Cantu conditioner !! It has GREAT slip and smells so good. My nieces hair is super curly and it makes her curls SO defined

Bianca Jingles: I love Cantu! Their products work well, especially the conditioner, and are easy on the wallet! I haven’t tried that gel yet and I want one with a stronger hold so I might have to try it! You’re right that the cast is pretty light. Sometimes I just move my head around a bit and it loosens it just fine without needing to scrunch

Danielle S: I’ve tried the conditioner and found it really slippery too and one of my favourites is the curl activator it was actually one of the first cg safe leave ins I tried a year ago and loved it and still can depend on it

puggirl415 puggirl: Cantu curl activator cream was one of the first products I bought. I loved it in the beginning because my hair was heat damaged and dry and I got great results with soft shiny curls and good clumping. But with time my hair became over moisturized and kind of heavy and the results started looking greasy even on the first day. After the initial moisture needs from damage I found that I really couldn't use the Cantu on my fine 2c/3a curls. They just couldn't stand up to such a heavy product. I would try that gel though just because I think it's a great brand for curly girls. Wavy girls have to be careful not to weigh our curls down.

Jurina Cleaver: My 2C /3A hair absolutely loves this product so much, I've had some of my best wash days after using these products, even my day 2/3 amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Marcy Austin: It definitely held your curls up! I bet if u used the same mixture with the curl cream and gel in your water bottle it would be a great refresher! I’m gonna make that concoction with my Noghty curl cream and my DIY flax seed gel!

Aroma Rose: Your hair looks gorgeous here! Thanks for trying this out!

Tara Lewis: I absolutely LOVE the Cantu activator cream! I have been using it since I started the curly method and can’t decide if I should buy another bottle because I’m so happy with the results, or if I should try something new to see if I can improve my curls even further. Feeling a bit of curly greed since I’m quite new to the cg method lol. Either way, definitely plan to try out that gel!

Diana Gurley: I’ve been watching Courtney since the first of the year (2020) when I started the CGM. I’ve turned into a product junky. But I just tried the Cantu products and low and behold I think I’ve finally got the shine and swing, at least today. It’s the new avacado product. I think my hair is somewhat like Courtney’s, only I have left over color and a loose perm from a year ago. But today I can see results of the CGM. I don’t follow the CGM all the way. I can’t keep from running a wide tooth comb through my hair. But today I haven’t grabbed a comb (yet), yay!!!

Ravita: I love the intro; I think more youtubers should do intros like that and just get to the point instead of all the small talk

Angela G: I think that is the best I have ever seen your hair. It looks so very good! I haven't used the Cantu shampoo and conditioner but I absolutely love the curl activator cream. It is one of my favorite products. I don't usually get a cast either so I may have to try that gel. As always, thanks for videos. You are such a pleasure to watch.

Elizabeth and Robert Burrows: I just recently tried the Cantu curl defining cream. I’ve been co washing for years with Cantu. My hair loves them both!

Obeli Flores: I love Cantu products!! I have 2b/2c curls and it helps keep my curls in for a 2-3 days. I also use the curl activator spray, if I see that my curls need a bit of help get back in form. I bought my niece the Cantu kids products and her hair curls look amazing.

Tattie33: Hey I have type 2b hair and new to the CGM. I've been trying out the Cantu activator cream which I normally put through my hair after I've shampoo and conditioned with a bit of squish-to-condish to follow. I'll then put it in a plop to dry. Once 90% dry, I'll take my hair turban off and softly finger rake my curls. The issue is, give it an hour or so and my hair begins to double in size with frizz. There's definitely better curl definition but the frizz is bad! What am I doing wrong? Do I need a gel? (never used before). Do I need more Cantu Curl Activator? Is my hair really dry that it needs a leave in? (also never done before?). I've no idea. Anyone else experienced this or can help? Thanks

Cyn T: You are awesome, Courtney! As a transition-er new to the world of CG, I am so grateful for all the research and resources you provide. Unfortunately, the Cantu Conditioner is NOT CG Approved Waxes and Oils to Avoid These ingredients are waxes or non-natural oils that should be avoided: Isododecane

Lauren Elise: Did anyone else watch this video and then immediately buy the entire line?? Haha it was only $28 INCLUDING shipping! Super cheap brand!

MLS: I am a newbie to "natural hair" I've just discovered my waves (2b) & I am so excited to see if I actually have more curls going on than I am aware of, so many new products to try! I haven't tried gels because I am terrified of them LOL!! My texture looks similar to yours (fine/medium strands but overall thick hair) I like to brush oil through the length of my hair at night & I am afraid that I won't be able to do that If I use any gel product. Once you break up the cast is your soft enough to gently brush if you wanted to? I am thinking of trying the NYM Curl Talk gel since you say it's a medium hold. My curls have never clumped but it's wash day & I have new products & new techniques -THANKS to YOU=) Also IF I wanted to curl my 2nd or 3rd-day hair with a curling iron- If I had used gel the previous wash day, then I definitely should NOT curl with heat right???

Robin Dartt: I found the shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling rough and somewhat like straw. But, my finished hair turned out fine. You should have tried the cantu come back spray. I find it a nice refresher if sprayed on wet hands then scrunched in or diluted pretty well in a sprayer and spray on and scrunch for a really nice refresher. This product is way to strong applied straight.

Stine Kirkeby: I just started using these products( not the gel though, I think I need to get that) and my hair really loves it! I usually only uses the low poo, conditioner and the curl activator and it is so good. I even get a great cast just my using the curl activator and no gel at all

Brenda Hicks: Wow!!! That makes me want to go out and get all of those products. Your hair is so curly and perfect!

Christy Price: I just tried the sulfate free cantu shampoo and conditioner last night and wow, I was blown away! It had a great deal of lather, which surprised me. It does strip my hair, but the conditioner is so incredibly hydrating and definitely makes up for it! The slip is insane, I've never had that with a regular conditioner. The smell of both products are ahhh-amazing! A cross between coconut and pineapple. I haven't seen the glue gel in stores. Now, I want to try the coconut curling cream and curl activator or revitalizer?

Nikki Driessen: Thank you so much for this video! I am sooo happy for the way your hair turned out! It looks beautiful

Kay Love: I dont know why I havent ever thought of combing my roots like that, but it has changed the game for my hair I'm so thankful for your videos!

Birgit Schenk: I discovered the shampoo & conditioner last year, I love it. Now that I stumbled over the curly girl method I will buy much more from this line. It is not quite as expensive as other brands.

grandmaazzy: That looks amazing! My hair is super similar to yours except i experienced some hair loss and im always afraid of feeding too much product into my hair because of oil. Its cool to see how you do it

Dolores DeMar: Your hair looks great!!! I love to use Cantu on my type 2b waves!! I haven't tried the glue gel yet! Great video,, as always...funny, informative and right to the point!! God Bless you ❤

Britta Feyerabend: Your hair looks amazing! I have used all of these products, but will now try to get my hands on the gel, too. Thanks for trying this. My hair loves Cantu!

Mihkayla Free: Your hair is GORGEOUS! It looks so healthy!

jennys1983: I’ve used the shampoo, conditioner, and cream, and my hair LOVES the shampoo (for a mild clarify, just like you said!) and cream, but the conditioner didn’t seem to do much; the Tresemmé coconut oil & aloe vera conditioner works much better for me. I just bought the Define & Shine Custard (£3.49 on sale, instead of £5.49 for a big tub, can’t go wrong!) and my hair loves that too! I might try that gel, for longevity, my curls like something with more hold, like the Giovanni gel (which I bought because of you ). Thanks for the great review!

Amy Medeiros: Thanks so much for testing these out. I've been so curious to see how they do on fine wavy hair!

Shannon Deeley: I love these products, they smell great I love the define and shine gel for light hold, and the twist an lock gel for firmer hold

Kaitlyn Holm: Thank you for testing this Courtney! I’ve seen this and heard awesome things but was not sure how it would work on finer curls.

Maya and James: Your hair looks so healthy and shiny

Cristina Berenguer: Love how your hair looks after these products! I'm definitely going to try them... Now, please do a wash day with Aunt Jackie's products!! Cantu and Aunt Jackie's are the only two brands that I can access where I live.

Katie Powell: Love how shiny your hair was , I use cantu shampoo, leave in conditioner , curl activator cream & the define and shine custard. but I always have problems breaking the cast i hate doing it....I have 3a/3b curls !

Kekio Wolf: I loooove Cantu!! Been using them for 5years now. Saves my curls, tames my frizz and I smell amazing!!!

Flower Power: Your hair looks great! I’m definitely going to try the products you used. It looked good the next day also.

ashley parisian: I love you're one brand wash day videos! Can you do one with Raw Curls?? I have 2 of their products and so far loving them! Their anti-frizz spray works as a refresh spray also seems to reactivate my curls really well!

Shy Intllignce: I just tried the brand today!!! Only shampoo & conditioner but my hair feels SOOOO clean!!!

Phyllis Malone: What a wonderful blessing! Praying for you and your daughter!

Owain H: You have very similar hair and colour to me and Just watching you makes me so excited for my journey I just started the curly girl method today because of your videos (even though I’m a guy lol) :)

Katherine Nichols: Hi! If I wanted to do a leave in condition with this exact line up when would I put it in?(I am extremely new to anything hair I've always been a wash, air dry, and run kinda person with no extra products) I was also wondering, since we don't wash our hair everyday on this method but like twice a week I'm assuming, what do you do on the off days? Just leave it alone in the morning? I was also looking into their deep conditioner since I still need one but it has beeswax in it :/.

Jodeci Ritchie: Have you ever tried their wave whip curling mousse? What do you think about it? I went to get all of this and they were out of the stay gel so I grabbed the mousse instead.

Fenna vdW: I have a question since i have almost the same curltype as you do (actually mostly 2C): Do you brush your hair dry the days after washday? And if so: how do you keep it as shiny? Because when i do that it gets frizzy but if i don't my hair looks messy, and refreshing like most curly girls do takes too much time for me.

Gremlins x2: Wow, I'm impressed! Your hair looks awesome, even on day 2. Thanks for sharing

Kathleen Ryan: I LOVE what these products do to my hair, I am not a fan of the scent though, its too sweet smelling, and the scent doesn't go away.

MoBs: My daughter has a combination of 2b/2c hair. I have straight hair so I am learning how to care for her hair. She will be turning 2 and I’m enjoying it.

kimkong74: I was recommended cantu by my coworker and have been using it a little more than a week... But I used the activator the way you said.... And OMG it was so helpful. My hair looks even better. Cantu4Lyfe

Kathie B: kind of very much impressed by how HEALTHY your hair looks

Wendy's Hoya's : I gotta tell you that out of all the gels I tried, and that is really about 10 to 15 different sorts...the Cantu Stay Glue Gel is the absolute best for my waves. There is nothing like it!

socks lady: I tried this line AND started the curly girl routine after i saw this video. Major inspo.

Marleen G.: That curl defining cream is *really* popular, I am willing to bet it's not the gel but the cream that is giving so much definition - it's popular for that reason. :)

Debi Mall: Your hair looks amazing! I went to buy the line but the reviews for the gel says it leaves white flakes. Has anyone had this experience?

Tina: Looks amazing , so pretty! I've encountered white people with curly hair who use products tailored for black hair and it seems to work really well for smoothness and control. I guess its that potent moistutizing that hits the spot.

Darcy Palmer: I use the shampoo and conditioner. I like them both. I'm going to try that gel! Your hair did look curlier, you had more ringlets, beautiful.

Heather Gross: New to your channel and already OBSESSED!!! I have wavy/curly hair and you've helped me so much!!!

martha korczukowski: I don’t know why I always avoided this brand for years , but now with no longer using Deva curl and recently started using cantu on my super fine 2b/2c hair and loving it

SashaDeter: That looked so pretty on day 1 but really did not hold up well into day 2 compared to many of your other one brand washdays. Could you do another week of washdays video? I really loved your last one as I think it gives a more comprehensive look into your routine of when you clarify, deep condition, that your hair doesn't have to be perfectly styled all the time etc. I'm still trying to find balance with my hair.

luv: I love cantu I have the shampoo and the leave in conditioner thingy , I’ve used it 3 times!:).

a smith: My wash day hair is always too soft and I can never get a cast! I always lose definition on wash day and have been looking for a really hard hold gel so I really need to try this!

F Lindsay: You did really good considering Cantu is generally for black and brown folks. Your curls came out beautifully. Usually will find this on the "ethnic shelf" in the back of CVS.

Google Queen: You should be sponsored if your not already! Just ordered all 4 of these products.

Laci Garcia: I'm so shocked at how pretty your hair turned out! I didn't think the Cantu products worked so well for wavy-curly hair. Thank you for trying out these products!

Myah Chan-Newman: Wowwww your hair looks great, I’ve had these products for a long time and I feel like I’ve been using them so wrong!

Emily Lerman: last night I was so frustrated. I have been trying the cgm for a couple of weeks now (I haven't been using sulfates on my hair in a while; it actually turned out that my fav shampoo was curly girl friendly!) and yesterday it was terrible. my hair took forever to dry even with diffusing I know you've said to not use heat on your hair when you first start the cgm but tbh I didn't use heat on my hair before, my hair isn't dyed, and my shampoos were sulfate-free) and my hair looked straighter than it ever looked before. defeated, I went to youtube to solve my problems and I found your channel. your hair seems very similar to mine. I watched a couple of your videos last night, soaking up every bit of information I could. I tried them this morning and they definitely helped! I don't think I nailed it perfectly yet but I'm sure I will with time. I'm definitely gonna keep watching your videos and keep trying! I have a question. you mentioned in a video that you don't co-wash because you have fine hair. but how does one know if co-washing is good for them or not? in general, for the first couple of months, you can expect one's hair to look shitty, but how does one know if it's because of co-washing (I guess that same question can be posed to any product)? I'm still trying to determine for myself if I should co-wash but I'm not sure how to tell if my hair likes it. when you first tried the cgm did you try co-washing?

Meghan Nuñez: I love ur hair!!!! AMAZING results!! So beautiful!!!

Virginia H: "This glue may be a real thing" hahahaha! I love cantu, but my second day hair usually looks lack luster. I just bought their refresh spray & am hoping that'll solve the problem.

Stephanie Griffith: Hi! I am new to all of this curly girl method etc, and wondering why do you scrunch the crunch? :) as I have used a gel before, and didn't like the casting, but didn't know you can 'crunch' it out? does this make it smooth afterwards? :)

Seaglassmomma: I used the Cantu styling products and I felt like there was a sticky film over my hair. Maybe I’m just not used to products because I normally don’t put anything on my hair aside from hairspray here and there. Did you experience this??

lizzymier: Here's me learning that I've been using the curl activator cream all wrong hahaha

Kendra Moffitt: I have used Cantu forever and love it!

Monika De La Rosa: Can you do a second-day one-brand refresh with the same line as the wash days?

Betty Sprong: I love the Cantu products. So Does my grandaughter. We call the conditioner the ( magic) because it gets the tangels out do well. I've never seen the gel where did you get it?

Mesa: Hey! Cantu is the only product I have here in my country for curly hair( there are others but they are not good) So I wanted to double check and next time I'm going to buy them

Anna Russell: Hello! I am trying out Cantu for the first time (after finally throwing my Devacurl cream out), and was wondering if I need to apply the cream and gel when my hair is sopping wet? If I use a leave-in conditioner on damp hair and then put the products in, would I accomplish the same result? Just wondering what the benefits of applying products to your hair when it's that wet are - I feel like it would be over-saturated. Thanks!

Amy Akin: Such pretty CURLS!

Gabriëlle: I'm wondering if you've ever have used the Cantu Wave Whip Mousse... I have never used Cantu on my fine, colour treated and high porosity hair because lot of their products are too heavy and buttery/shea-moisture-y.... I normally use Boucleme, Jessicurl Spiralicious or Innersense...but last week I was too curious and tried the Cantu Wave Whip mousse (and a very tiny amount of Spiralicious underneath) and I actually was pleasantly surprised. Body and volume appeared. I'm just a bit anxious that it will weigh down and cause build up after a few uses (because of the shea) because when I add more layers in the following days I can féél that there's something on my hair... so strange. (but I don't mind to clarify anyway ;) )

lama s: absolutely love the cantu curl activator. that stuff is bombbb

My Kind Of Reality: If you have any advice I'd hella appreciate that I've been trying the curly girl method for over a month and theres hardly any improvement, I use the AsIAm Cowash, Hydration elation conditoner and I've stopped using the curling jelly for now because my hair seems to cast anyway with the leave in conditioners and serums :(

InABind: Hi there, I hope your back is ok. Be careful. I actually hurt my back once when I washed my hair over the tub, because I was bending from my waist and not my hips. Really stick your butt out!

Courtney: We have matching names and the same hair type. Is this fate?! Finally a YouTuber with my hair type to get tips from

Terry: Looks gorgeous!!!

amanda.emily_: Her hair is majestic, and I don’t really don’t understand how my hair after washing and styling doesn’t stay wavy towards my roots even on day one but my ends will stay wavy, am I doing something wrong!

Marisa de Stefanow-Plegge: Sooo..as far as I know from many videos, this brand is much more focused on 3-4c hair.. i have 3 products that I am currently using, love the smell, love the cleansing shampoo, but the curl activator is really mich too heavy for my rather 2b-2c hair(i used to have a 3 kinky curl, but I lost them somehow over the last years although I put a lot of moisture in my hair and took great care of it..seems like as if my curls were only kinky because they were dry or whatever..I don‘t know and am seeking for help..).Hair looks greasy at the roots really fast and looks like wavy spaghetti in the lengths..I also tried the Moisturizing twist&lock gel and I really have to say: it‘s not for me.That‘s really sad but I think my 4c-sister-in-law will be happy..;-)

Hope Bullard: Your hair is BEAUTIFUL AND SHINY! How do you make it look this shiny?

Holly Gamble: Did you say you're a momma too!? I'm so jealous because I seriously thought you were a teenager. You look and act so youthful! Stay radiant ♥️

Kimber Ann: Wow you need to use these products more they really worked so well with your hair
