Here's my hair routine on how I detangle my natural hair and I’ll be taking you step by step through the processes I apply, to detangle my hair with minimal hair breakage.

I always start of with applying the Mane n Tail hair detangler (one of the best detanglers I’ve used to date). I then apply some coconut oil which helps smooth down the ends of my hair, provides slip, making it easier for the comb to easily glide through my hair.

This method (along with managing my hair in sections) has really helped to reduce my detangling sessions from 1 hour & 45 mins to just under an hour.

So if you’re struggling with detangling your hair, then make sure you give these method a try.

Hey guys and welcome back to another video so today I'll be showing you how I detangle my hair, so if you've missed part 1 and part 2 and how I wash and kind of condition my hair and make sure you check out those videos before watching this. One and I'll put all the details in the description box, so I'm going to start off by separating the back section of my hair into two and begin by working my way through the left-hand side. First, I didn't like to apply the main intelligent angle. Now the tables are not solution, spray to that entire section, simply to allow the product to work into my hair, and I really like to completely saturate my hair with it. Next I had some coconut oil to that entire section as well and, most importantly, to the ends of my hair, which is where the knots and tangles tend to build up once that's done. I then section that quarter into even smaller sections, ready to the tangle, and I like to use these hair clips, which have come in really handy for helping to keep my hair out of the way. I then continue rubbing the hair, the oil into my hair gently, using my fingertips to stretch out the ends of my hair, to remove any tangles before using my afro comb, and I like to comb my hair from the ends upwards. Then, once that sections been too tangled, I simply twist my hair, so I know that it's done now. The reason why I like to add oil was because it helps us move down the ends of my hair. It provides slip, making it easier for the comb to easily glide through my hair and since applying this method detangling. My hair is so much easier and quicker. Also when it comes to struggling to remove any knots or tangles it just won't budge. I simply cut them out and I really feel it's more healthier for my hair to do it this way, rather than detangling to the point where my strands break away or become damaged, and it comes to the man, oil. I apply to the ends of my hair. You know depends on the extent of the knots or tangles so, for example, if there's not much tangles, then I'll only apply a little bit. But if there's a lot that I'll apply more, I actually once applied so much that my hair was sleeping with oil. So be mindful, if you do decide to give this method a try, but you know doing my hair. This way has really helped reduce my detangling sessions from an hour 45 minutes or just under an hour. So if you're struggling tangling your hair then make sure you give this method a try. So that completes part 3 of my full washday session. I hope you'll find these methods useful for detangling. Your hair and that's mentioned already be sure to check out part 1 and part 2 on how I wash and how I conditioned my hair thanks.
