To make sure it's waterproof here i have some water droplets. This is going to act like moisture and it usually makes the hair frizzy watch what happens when i put the water droplets on the hair, they literally bead off the hair. So i'm going to go ahead and try this color wow best vacay, hair ever kit, and i decided to go with the kits because i didn't want to use any other products in my hair besides the color wow, so i can know exactly what it could do For me, so today we're going to be trying out color wow on 4c hair. So if you want to see it, then let's jump into it. So this is my hair. What it looks like i had it in twist after i took it down from the cornrows, so i'm just going to show you guys my edges. My edges have been thinning very badly because i've been doing a lot of tension on my hair for like back to back to back, and i need to give it some tlc. So i can grow back. But here i'm just spraying my hair with some water. Just to loosen it so that i can untwist it, i'm gon na go in with the olaplex number three for my pre shampoo treatment. The olaplex builds your bones and it helps especially for me, since i have a chemically treated hair. It'S gon na help. My bones stay stronger, so my hair doesn't fall out and break and all that bad stuff. Okay, still i'm gon na show you guys my edges, because i've been so bad with my hair and my edges just were not having it okay. So what i do is, i put my number three olaplex into a spray bottle with some water, so i can spray it and saturate my hair. This helps the product last longer and also helps the product saturate, your hair eat more evenly, and i go ahead and comb it through, so that i can make sure that every single hair is saturated. Okay. So i do that i twist it and move on to the next and then i put it under a cup for about 15 minutes to an hour. Next, i'm going to go ahead and in and shampoo with the color wow shampoo. So this is my hair already shampooed and i'm going to apply the color wow um best vacay. I think it's a volumizing volumizing conditioner. I went ahead and apply that all over my hair and i let it sit under - i let it sit under the cap for about 15 to 20 minutes. I don't really remember how long i left it on for, but once again here goes my missing edges. It'S really bothering me okay, but this is what my hair looks like. So i went ahead and rinsed out the conditioner, and this is what i got to work with: okay, so the instructions on that dream coat, which is what made that girl's, hair, essentially frizz, free or water resistant, is that you're supposed to spray it on damp hair Spray it on damp hair and then you're supposed to work it through. So i decided to go ahead and comb it through and then you're supposed to go ahead. Of course, nana is here just bugging me and being in my videos, but that's okay, because you know she's gon na be her, and we can't really do anything about that. Um you're supposed to go ahead and blow dry it or at least apply some heat to activate the product. So i decided to go ahead and blow dry it so that the product will be activated, and then my sister came about trying to show me something. Every time i have to work, you know that's when everybody wants to come talk about something or show me something. I don't get it anyway back to the hair, i'm working the product through and i'm just gon na blow dry everything. Now after i blow dried it. I went ahead and flat ironed it and you know the rest was history. Okay, one thing i noticed about the color wow products is that it really made my hair very voluminous. My hair had a lot of volume with this product. It felt very soft. My hair felt very flowy, it didn't feel, weighed down, it didn't feel dry, it didn't feel crunchy. It felt very, very it felt very, very nice. Okay, even the flat ironing process did not like hurt my hair from what i'm seeing um. I also didn't flat iron. My hair bone straight because i can't get my hair to be bone straight ever. It takes a lot of heat for it to go bone straight and, if you've seen any of my hair videos, literally a few days after i blow dry, my hair or flat iron. My hair, it goes back to being frizzy, so i didn't want to put too much heat on it and the thing that surprised me with this hair i mean with this product. Was the hair was flowy. It did not get frizzy except the back part of my hair, where i got really really sweaty one time, but i went ahead and i um use that comb flat iron jig magic to fix it. This is me doing that water drop test and the water really did fall out of my hair, except the part where my fingers were on the bottom. Of course the water stopped there, so it was soaked into my hair, but it fell off my hair and actually did not make my hair frizzy, which was weird right, because if the water went in my hair, my hair was supposed to be very frizzy. It didn't it wasn't frizzy at all, and then i was actually able to go ahead and style, my hair for another week and a day after that, so i'm really really impressed with this color wow dream coat like. I would recommend it to anybody that asked me what product they needed to use to keep their hair from being frizzy. I would recommend this because i have 4c hair and i was able to style my hair for an entire week. This is the first time it's ever happened on my channel, you guys like an entire week after i flat ironed. My hair, like that is insane. This is my hair. Two days later looks really really good. I went ahead and did a one curl on my hair and i was able to style this for an additional few days after that. Okay, so this is it for me showing you guys the color wow hair. I absolutely love it. I will absolutely use it again. If you ask me, i would say yes, definitely give it a try, you don't have to use it. Every shampoo you can use it every three shampoos, so the product will last longer and you don't have to spend so much money on frizz free products for your hair. So i really like that about the product. So i'm filming today - and i use these things - the orange ones, to curl my hair last night, and this is what it looks like it looks very good. I don't know what size they are, but they're the orange ones. Okay, like smaller kind of sections, just wrap it around, it wasn't even perfect and the hair still came out curly, so my lips are chopped, i'm gon na go. Thank you guys so much for watching. Hexx: This makes me wonder how the product differs between high and low porosity hair. Low porosity hair is low key waterproof anyway, so I wonder if this spray will still make a difference.

klarfaerie: I’ve always been so curious to see how it’d work on 4c since my mother and cousin has that hair type. I will say that if you use a bristle brush (the ones that actually grab on) before or to chase the flat iron it really helps flatten the hair with minimal frizz! My cousin also uses the garnier sleek and shine serum which is a godsend for the whole house, even to break the cast for products
Lovely_toca413: Love the video like always. For your edges try the Mielle Organics Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil. Sis it works EXCELLENT. My daughter got a bald spot from braids and I put that on her hair and it grew back in less than a month. I have very long hair but I love the stuff, always have 10 bottles on deck. Order from their site cause the stores be charging way to much. I use it on my scalp every other day.
Legacy: Your hair responded well to the product. I only tried the spray and I wasn’t impressed. I also have 4C hair. Maybe I had to apply more heat. I ended up using Design essentials silk press serum to flat iron my hair to get the desired straight, frizz free look

Bri B: I thought color WOW said the dreamcoat is not supposed to work for 4C hair. They have one for “curly hair” but that one is supposed to stop at 3C textures. I don’t know if you would want to try out the curly one to see if it would make a difference, but thank you for testing it out!

Rover: Normally if you haven’t applied this product you can just blow dry it and then add just oil that you use for your hair and focus more on the end and it stays for me (and I do have really frizzy hair).

Omg Giiirl: Sis get some Indian alma cool oil and a rosemary henna oil. Mix the two with fenugreek oil and apply to those edges. Trust me sis I've grown my hair back after losing most of it from my rheumatoid arthritis and my mother in law also used it to grow her hair back after chemo.

Purrfect Nails: No shade to you, but aren't you texlaxed? I would imagine your hair wouldn't "curl up" anyway. Even when your hair was wet it didn't look curly the way a true natural would be. Hopefully you aren't taking offense, but just trying to get to the facts. Also I would need to know if that model's hair is low porosity because it if is then its probably naturally "water proof" The products may help soften the hair, but I'm not buying the waterproof thing.

I’m a white girl but I’ve got curly hair that can be big, frizzy, puffy(my daughter got the hood curly) I can’t straighten my hair myself because it’s just SO BIG!! Lol I’m thinking I can use this and then maybe straighten it with my AIRWRAP that I bought like 2 years ago and use the blow dryer to dry my dog… lmao.. You’ve given me hope!! Also they have that color powder for edges! I tried a dot in Sephora and it did pretty darn good! Totally try that!
