Hey guys welcome back to my channel. If you are new here, my name is ohima. Welcome on my channel, i do makeup reviews, makeup, tutorials, skincare reviews, well, skincare products review, skin care, routines, the occasional sprinkle of hair video and we've just started adding lifestyle and vlog style of video. So if anything i listed interest, you definitely go ahead and subscribe down below and click that notification bell. So you don't miss any future. Uploads from me that was long today happens to be one of those um hair videos. So me and my chapped lips are here to show you how i wash my weave okay. So if you didn't know um a few months ago, i went ahead and text my hair. I will put the textiles video down below in the comments down below in the description, so you can click it and check it out. My lips are chopped, don't pay attention to that um. So then, a little bit after i text my hair, i went and got a sew-in weave and i will link that video also down below it doesn't look like. I have a sew-in because i have a kinky straight um hair in my hair um two. Maybe three weeks ago i washed my hair two weeks ago, i'm sure i washed my hair and because i didn't know how long it was going to take to dry or the actual process of the whole thing. I decided to go ahead and wait until i had all the facts before i came to tell you guys, hey. I know how to wash my hair with my weave. So let me show you how i do it now that i'm comfortable with you know, sharing with you guys how i wash my hair and all of that. Let'S go ahead and jump into. You know the whole the full wash and conditioning drying of weave, especially for someone who has my hair texture and if your hair is as thick as mine and you have a full big hair. Okay. So if you want to see how i'm going to wash this hair and everything that goes into, it then keep on watching so right now, this hair has been through two whole summer, mini summer vacations, including the beach, and this is what my hair looks like after We went to the beach and it's been two weeks since i watched it. It doesn't look bad at all like the textures match. However, my natural hair is a bit coarse right now, because i haven't put any heat on it and it's dry. It needs to be conditioned and everything, that's why i'm washing it okay, but if i didn't have to how i had my hair, was perfectly fine. I could have went like another week of being lazy with the hair, but you know videos to film projects to complete. So we're gon na go ahead and get into this okay on any given day, i generally use um all flex on my hair and lately i've been using the tgi and product which i actually ran. Out of so, i need like new um new bottles of the stuff, but you know so before i actually wash my hair, i like to separate my natural hair from the weave hair. So this is my leave out and then i have some on the side, not on the back, but i have that one um. What is it called? I have it braided up, then i'm gon na separate this side as well. I'M gon na take my little scrunchie and i am going to put this up okay, so i'm all out of the olaplex number three, which is what you put on your skin before i mean on your hair before you wash your hair, i'm all out of that, But i have the intensive bond repair treatment and the intensive bond building treatment, and this is the number zero it's the fluid type. The tip of this is very, very small, so for this bond uh treatment, you have to put it on your actual hair and your scalp and leave it on for 10 minutes and leave it on for 10 minutes um. You don't rinse it out and then you can apply a generous amount of number three onto your hair, so this was supposed to so before this came out for olaplex number three. What you had to do was dampen your hair um. Before you put number three on. I feel like this is um a replacement of the dampening um requirements, so this actually helps dampen your hair and also helps you start building or start repairing your um, the bonds in your hair. That way, you can go in with number three and that will help you build and also repair your bond, the bonds in your hair, okay, but because i don't have number three, i'm just gon na put number two on and i'm gon na do i'm gon na. Do a protein um treatment on it and then we're going to shampoo it and then we're going to put the conditioner on it. So i'm not sure i'm using the tgin cpr treatment. This is the miracle repair x protein treatment and it's actually like almost done. If you can see it's like so now that i feel like i massaged it in really well, i'm gon na go ahead and bring this part of my hair and this part of my hair to the middle i'm just going to twist it around and we're going To leave it like that, okay, i'm gon na just leave it like this um. Until i finish everything else, so the reason why i really need a protein treatment on my leave out is because that's this. This is the part of my hair that i'm putting a lot of heat on and it's out most of the time compared to my actual braids and also the braid on the back. It'S never. I haven't actually used it since i um, since i got my weave so next, what i'm going to do is split this hair into okay and i'm gon na brush it out. I'M gon na use this um tangled teaser comb that came in a pr box that i absolutely love and i can't find the actual brand to link it. But it's really really good. I like it because i use it for my daughter's hair and it helps like i can. I can comb her hair and not worry about hurting hair because of this tangle teasing brush. Next, i'm going to use this ion pro brush. This is the magnesium pro brush, but you have to be careful how you're raking your brush across your braids because remember your braids are out. You don't want the brush to keep pulling and ripping your hair as it's in while it's in the um, the protective style. So this is the prep process. I just leave it at that. Next, i'm going to go ahead and prepare my shampoo, so i'm going to be using this color applicator thingamajig that i got from sally like a really really long time ago, and the reason why i like this is because the tip is very pointy and it can Actually fit under my braids, especially now that my hair is grown out now, of course, there was no tension on my hair. Whenever i first got look, there was literally zero tension on my braids. When i got my hair done so i was, i didn't, really go through the itchy face. I didn't go through that my scalp is hurting. I can't sleep face. I have no itching. With this install. I had zero. I had no pain with this install. I had zero itching with this install my scalp did not swell up or inflame and like it was just an overall really really really good experience with attention free install. So i am willing to drive the hour plus back to joy, so she can redo my hair because girl, okay, it was it - was that good, i'm gon na go in with the oplex bond, maintaining shampoo. If you can see - and i am going to pour some of this into the bottle okay, so i fill the bottle up with water, as you can see, it's like all the way up here. I hope you can see it's all the way up to here with the water, so i'm gon na shake it so that the shampoo can mix in here. So this is what it looks like i feel like. I may need to do like some more shampoo, because last time i ended up putting a ton of shampoo under my braids so that it can wash really well, but i also washed it. I also rinsed it out really really well. So i'm not really worried about this is going to be fun. I hope you're ready to um jump in the shower with me, because at this point i feel, like you guys, have seen everything there is to see so listen. This is not gon na be pretty. Okay, there's gon na be water everywhere, um in my eyes, and all of that so i hope you're ready for that. I cannot believe you guys are in the shower with me right now. Okay, it's crazy, like i never thought i'd be doing this, but what i'm getting i'm actually waiting for the water to get a little warm, but what i'm gon na do is wash my scalp underneath for me first and then i'm going to shampoo my now. I'M going to rinse out and shampoo my natural hair and then i'm trying to keep it to the back until i'm ready to wash the front of my hair. So now that my hair is wet enough, i'm going to go in with a shampoo and i'm putting it under my weave. I can actually feel it on my scalp because the shampoo water is colder than the actual shallow water, and now i just i literally just move my whole entire head like this, because my hair is all like grown under there, so it's gon na move. So i just do it like that, and then i go in with the comb like this in between the braids and i use that to clean my scalp like, even though my hair was natural. I still use a comb like this to get in between to like wash my hair, because i don't want to um tangle my hair, so i generally use something like this, like whatever it will fit. If it doesn't fit, then don't do it, but my hair is grown out. So i can do that. Okay, that's the first wash i'm gon na go ahead and rinse that out. So the one thing i found when i was first when i was washing my hair. The first time is that the shower head has like several different settings, so i changed it to this one or this one, and i put it directly on my hair so that i can wash my scalp very well. That way, i can get rid of all the shampoo from my hair, so i'm going to keep it here for a bit making sure that my actual natural hair, underneath the weave is completely clean off the shampoo right. So i'm just going to keep doing it like that. I seem to be out of all my old flex products. Okay, like everything, is done right now. This is the bond maintaining conditioner. It'S done so i'm going ahead and put some water in it shake it up. Really really well and i'm gon na, pour it into my applicator. I am now gon na use the olaplex bond intense moisture mask this is the newer one that they came up with. This is number eight. I'M gon na put that on my actual leave out. Okay, now it's time for my hair under the weave, i am taking our mixture of the olaplex number five and i'm going to actually pour that under my skull. So i push the applicator in and i squeeze. This doesn't go on my weave here. This just goes on my hair, underneath the weave okay. Once again, i'm gon na move it around. So i can make sure that everything is coated very well. I'M going to take the tgin honey hair mask and i'm going to put that on the weave here, because i can't find my sloth that i typically use for hair extensions and it smells good too. So it's gon na make my hair smell really good. I went ahead and conditioned my hair and then i detangled it, and then i detangled my natural hair detangle, the weave hair and now i'm going to put a shower cap on for about 30 minutes. What i'm gon na do is actually clean. My shower um before i continue and then i'll come back when it's time for us to rinse. Okay, so i'll see you guys in a little bit, so my shower is clean and my body's clean and it's now time to rinse out okay. So what i'm doing right now is putting the cream of nature: coconut milk, leave-in spray with the camille bros ultimate growth, um serum, which is actually an oil. I put both of them into our applicator, so i put both of them into the applicator and what i'm going to do is apply it to my scalp so that my hair can absorb it. The reason why i waited a little bit to do this so that um, my natural hair under my weave, can dry down a little bit, and this way it would actually be able to absorb the um the products that i'm putting onto my scalp. Okay, i'm gon na put the olaplex number six. This is the leave-in the bond smoother. This is the leave-in conditioner, so i'm gon na put some of that onto my hair and the other product. I'M gon na add is the bonding oil, which can also be used as heat protectant. You
