after trying the curly girl method for 30 days, I was hooked on embracing my natural waves and learning to style my short wavy hair hair with curly hair products! Now it's been 5 months since I started my curly hair transformation, and I wanted to see what my natural hair actually looks like with no product and no styling!

About Sierra and Stephen IRL

Hey friends! I’m Sierra Schultzzie and this is my shared vlog channel with my husband, Stephen. Over on my main channel, I make videos about midsize and plus size fashion and body positivity, but this channel is all about my real life! We started vlogging 3 years ago to document planning our wedding and growing together as a young married couple, and the channel has now really become our passion project. We love creating travel vlogs, disneyland vlogs, documenting our journey trying to get pregnant, showing behind the scenes of creating my fashion videos, and all the little ups and downs of our unfiltered, real life.

Hello and Oh tried to do a little spin, but I was too close to my desk. Take two hello and good morning. There we have it today is Thursday. I am just getting my day started. I came up here into my office to download some files from my editor, those always take a little while so when I know I've got files to download. I like to do that first and then kind of get my morning moving. I would say the last week and a half I've been super busy because I was trying to get further ahead with my main channel videos and I'm also posting two videos a week right now. But in May I'm gon na go back to one video a week like guaranteed and still the occasional second video and I've also gotten head on a lot of my filming, because I filmed like every day last week. So now I'm like looking at my schedule for not just like today tomorrow, the next day but, like you know, kind of a week out from there and it's pretty chill. I may be working like five or six hours a day each day, which is like less than I think I've ever worked on my channel in a long time, but cool awesome. I have like free time leisurely time for myself how fun today, I probably have let's say six hours, because I do have to edit a vlog, and then I have to like review some files. For my editor, I need to schedule tomorrow's video I need to. Oh. I haven't hour-and-a-half conference call today with my person over at YouTube, so that's gon na be a long haul and I've just got some other little like video planning outlining things to do, but nothing major cool awesome. I also would like to go on a hike today and I've been hiking or walking or jogging some variation of that every morning. For the past week, which has been great, it's been a great habit to form and I think the reason I've been able to stick with it is because I made it very attainable and flexible for me. So I think, ideally in my brain, I'm like oh every day, I'm gon na do this loop that I do that's like super steep uphill and is like relatively long. I think it's like three miles, but some days like I just I don't want to do it. I don't want to do that big hill. I'Ve shown you guys a piece of that hill and it is steep. So I'm just not I'm not making myself do it. When I don't want to do it. I know crazy thought, but I also I'm not saying, like. Oh okay: well, if I'm not gon na, do that hike that I'm just not gon na move my body at all today, so what I've been doing is I've either like I have like a scale, my like low-impact movement exercise for the day, it's just taking Bella On a walk, and usually the walks are actually longer because I go slow, but I don't really do that many hills and maybe walk for hour-and-a-half. We take our time. We stop and smell the flowers and then like in the middle. I do that loop and that hike, but I don't run any of it and then when I like, really I'm feeling it and feeling pumped up. I do my loop and I try to jog like a third of it or a quarter of it, but giving myself that flexibility has been great and I've been feeling just so good and energized from trying to prioritize that every day and I think watch has helped I'Ve posed the rings on it, like the movement rings every day, since you even fix my watch so cool all right, Oh actually, files just downloaded so now see. I have to download the file from my editor and then I have to upload the file once it's on my computer to YouTube, so the file downloaded so now I can upload it also back to the being busy and my schedule kind of finally thinning out. I feel like I'm so much better at vlogging when I'm not that busy cuz, if I'm just sitting in my desk working for nine hours straight, like that's kind of boring like no one wants to see that. But if I'm doing that for like four or five hours a day and then the rest of the time I get to do whatever I want to do, that's way more fun for you guys to watch. So I feel like I'm more inclined to vlogs. I love love. If I could get to a point where that's like normal, how would be so cool? I love that. Also, how cute is my husband look, what he left outside the master bedroom door today. He always gets up before me and this just made my day, so it was so sweet thanks Steven getting some dishes started Steven washed some last night, so I'm gon na actually run it hello, my q fella. That was the most defeated flop. I'Ve ever seen. Do you guys, like the sunshine, it's good huh, all right, I'm gon na have some breakfast, I'm gon na do like a little 10-minute tidy of the kitchen. It'S not like messy messy, but there's you know stuff I'll, put everything away, I'll wipe down the counter. I'Ll finish up the dishes, that's even started and probably did the same for the living room. I like that we've been keeping the house like consistently clean and organized versus just letting everything kind of pile up and then doing one big cleaning day. I feel, like we've, been doing this little 10-minute tidies like every day or at least every other day. So it's it's been nice. I want to keep up with it delicious. So since I'm not filming anything for the main Channel today, I'm kind of thinking I'll take a like a normal shower and wash my hair, but not like wash it go wash it like. I usually do, but I kind of want to try letting my hair just air dry with absolutely no product and no styling and see just what my naked natural hair is like right now, because I haven't done that since before I started the curly girl method. I always at least put a little bit of product in it or I put it up in a bun like I really don't know what just my normal natural hair would look like, so that could be fun. Let'S try not I'll have some breakfast I'll scroll through tick-tock on the couch. I make it tick tocks again by the way I made a couple yesterday and then I'll go shower and I'll see what my hair looks like with absolutely no product, no styling, I'm very interested to see it all right. Let'S shower, let's up find out what naturally lies beneath this all right, I'm fresh out of the shower I'm gon na brush out my hair, and then I do. I even need to plop. Usually I plot my hair up in either a microfiber towel or just a t-shirt to let it kind of dry a little bit and let the product soak in. But if there's no product in my hair, do I need to plop that's the question. Maybe I'll still do it just to like get some of the wetness out of my hair, help it dry a little bit faster or maybe I'll, just scrunch, some of it up. This is gon na be very interesting. I honestly have no idea what its gon na look like. If I had to guess, I think it's gon na be very frizzy, like I don't think the hair is gon na clump as much as it does when I put in product and that's how I get like the more formed. Curls and waves is by the hair. Clumping together, which I think it's gon na, be too frizzy to do that, but I still think that the natural curling wave in my hair has come out so much more over the past few months. So how is it gon na show that I honestly don't know, but we will find out hello, hello. It is now about one o'clock, I'm pretty much. I would say three quarters of the way done editing this vlog. Well, not this vlog, but this vlog on the computer train in front of me. I haven't looked at my hair until literally just now, when I open the camera it's like. Ah I have the back is like so pretty wet, but the Front's dry. This is so weird, okay, so the front piece is hardly or even like wavy in some places like this. This, I guess it's like a wave up here and a little bit of a curl, but like look at this piece, this just looks like a straight piece of hair, but then under look at these curls. These look like this literally looks like I have a ton of product and I or used a curling iron same with some of the ones down here, but then some of the pieces are just like they're, not even curly or wavy they're, just like like what is This oh cool this. This is what I thought honestly my whole head. What'S gon na look like kind of scraggly, not very curly or wavy, the pieces of hair don't want to clump together, but I would say that maybe only half my head on the other half looks really actually better than I thought, but we'll see we'll see we Got ta wait until it's fully dry. I have my conference call at 2:30, so I should have plenty of time to finish editing this vlog, but this vlog that I'm editing is the vlog. Where I talk about how I'm starting to track my ovulation again, if you guys miss that vlog I'll put a card for it right here, but at the end of the vlog we did a massive cleaning montage, which usually, when I put the footage like on my Computer or send it to my editor, it's maybe about 40 minutes of footage that ends up being like a 30 minute, vlog or 30 minutes of footage in like a 20 minute vlog. Something like that, like not that much footage is cut out, but because there are so many time lapses. There was two and a half hours of footage for this vlog, so this vlog actually might take me longer that I'm estimating right now to finish up cuz. I have to you know edit those montages and sync it to music and all of that, but I I really like editing montages, it's kind of like my favorite thing. I just think they're so fun. So I got I don't mind at all um. I checked everything else off my to-do list, so if I finish editing this blog before the conference call - which I think I'll have more than enough time and then my conference call is from 2:30 to 4:30. That means that I'm gon na be done with my day. At 4:30, that's pretty good, I'm pretty happy with that standing desk. I I'm wondering how many of you guys actually knew that my desk was a standing desk cuz. I feel like. I never show that, but I really like it. I really like being able to adjust it, and I have like four different settings on here, so I don't have to like tinker with it every time I want to move it. I just press the setting, I want and it's perfect for my height and it's gon na help me make sure I close all my Apple watch rings. So it's 206, I just finished the blog and it is exporting, which means I have about 20 minutes. Until my meeting for lunch - and that's not really enough time to like make make anything, but you know what I do have is yesterday, I got a delivery from daily harvest and I finished filming like using them for the main channel video. But I actually really liked the bowls, especially for situations like this, where I just need something quick and easy, but I still want it to be like filling and healthy. So I decided I'm gon na get one box of nine items delivered, probably about every three to four weeks. That way, I'm not like only eating, you know frozen daily harvest meals, but I have them for situations when I need something quick. So what do we want to make today? That'S the question, an artichoke and spinach flatbread and a bunch of bowls. All the bowls I got are the high-protein options, and this flatbread looked really really good, even though it wasn't part of the like high-protein area of the website. I thought it'd be good to try one of these, but I think today we've got Brussels sprouts. Oh, I think I want to make this. This is the sweet, potato and wild rice hash. I had this as part of the video and it was really good. So I already know I like it: no mysteries here, let's eat Oh vlog, caught that you're cute. No, I love you how's your day, good good little snack, hmm, hi buffer Cece can't get it the West chewy bar nice. I had those since I was like in middle school Tata lunch in four minutes. Do you still want to have our date night tonight? Remember we did plan that like three days ago, yes, yeah, movie, Jacuzzi and I'll make dinner plan. Let'S tango, I think I'm gon na be done with work at like 4:30. Today, it's not incredible. So here's the things even I feel like a little tickle in my throat and I'm sure it's nothing but just to be safe. I feel like we maybe shouldn't go walk, but it is very hot and very dry, but just out of an abundance of precaution. Let'S just do a home, workout, okay, good! We can do a five six, seven Broadway class. What would it take for you to do that with me? I would have a lot of fun now hearing you do that: okay I'll plan a little circuit for us to do arms, legs and abs, so good on more exciting. I'Ve got a couple of things I can do Brussels sprouts. We could do pasta, we could do we're starting to run a little bit low, yeah, I'm food, but I have one more sweet potato, so I could do some sort of veggies. Oh wait! Oh let's do personal pizzas. If you do that, that's so fun! For date, night, that's perfect personal pizzas. I think about guys. Okay, all right have a good day love you enjoy the rest of your workday all right. It is just about 5:30 and I am fully done with my work. For the day I ended up finishing up. My conference call around I think 4:40 and then I had to schedule tomorrow's vlog, and that is all good to go. So, let's talk about my hair because it is fully dry now and is just kind of hanging like this. It very much looks like early Hermione hair, it's like poofy and fluffy, and you can tell that there is some like curl or wave or texture to it, but it can't form curls or waves. It'S just like poofy and frizzy, and not my favorite. But when I pull this back and this back the under layer is these beautiful, like soft, beachy waves and curls, like I feel like this bottom layer. If my whole head looks like this I'd like never use, hair products like it's really pretty, and I really like it and overall it's a lot less curly, but there still are some formed curls under here. I think what bothers me the most is how the ends are so straight, and I know that's because they're super dead and the only way to get rid of that is to either chop my hair off or wait for the damage to grow out and then chop. It but then I actually don't mind the length because I've grown it out if that makes sense, when I was in high school and even middle school, and I was trying to navigate having hair like this, I actually wore it half up, like almost, I would say, Like 95 % of the time like that was my hairstyle for, like five years growing up was, I would let my hair naturally air dry. I would put in a little bit of product or sometimes not at all, and I would take the ugly top layer pull it back. Do a little high pony and I still really liked this look, and I actually did this a lot. When I first cut my hair - and I did it a lot when I was straightening my hair - and I would do like a little half updo with the top - not a little bun dogs are chasing bruiser. Are you starting fights? Are you hyper spell'she's exasperating? Isn'T she anyways? I used to wear my hair half up like that a lot and I still do from time to time, but since the top layer has started to look better, I've been just wearing it fully down more, and I do think this top layer, like really is what Benefits from me using product and styling, because it takes it from this to looking like the under part of my hair. But honestly, if I kind of just fluff this up and do like a not part part, it hides it a little bit better. I think maybe so yeah here is what my hair naturally looks like with no product, no styling genuinely surprised by how good the under layer looks and the top layer is exactly what I expected honestly. Okay, I need to give these dogs, so we pretension you are bouncing off the walls, my goodness little girl, hi hi. Yes, hi to you, you guys. Alright, we're going out we're going outside yeah go, go! Go! Oh! No! Now they're gon na go bark at the neighbor dog. Do you guys get all your barking out, get all your hyperness out, I'm kind of thinking tomorrow pool day? Maybe it's supposed to be like 80 degrees tomorrow, which is definitely the hottest day we've had since we moved in. I don't think it's nearly as cold now, no not at all. Now that the pool is just like it's it's chilly, but it's not cold like. I would jump in the pool and I'll be like oh that's kind of cold, but once I started swimming around, I'm I'm guessing, I'm hoping it would be enjoyable so, tomorrow's another day where I don't have a full like day planned of work stuff. So I'm kind of thinking I knock all of my work stuff out in the morning like I get up pretty early grind it all out and then maybe try to be done by like 2 o'clock and have myself a little pool tanning day. I think that'd be super fun and I'm so pale right now. I am NOT getting like any sunshine these days, so I think especially because on Saturday and Sunday it's supposed to go down to, I think like 72. So still pretty warm, but tomorrow is definitely gon na be the warmest day, so I can fit that in that would be super fun and I will definitely definitely vlog it for you guys if I do so here is the outfit that I have been wearing all Day but I'm actually gon na change out of it now and say goodbye to my natural hair, because I'm putting it up in a bun and I'm gon na get started on this workout. I think Stevens gon na join me after a little bit. I'M gon na get started without him because he has quite a bit more work to do and is running a little behind schedule. So he told me to get started on my own and then he'll come join, but a magic change, ready tah-dah all right. I am ready to work out. I'M gon na put on my shoes put on a headband to keep the hair out of my face and we'll be rockin and rollin. Let'S do this whoo all right, workout check very nice. Very nice nice. You missed arms, but I actually kind of want to jump in the pool right now, if there's ever a time to do it right now, when I'm super hot, what do you do think I probably watch maybe dip my toes in I'll wait for the jacuzzi tonight. Pizza night, I'm so excited you have to brush it all right, so we are making a personal pizzas. We have these two like individual pizza breads and they come in a two-pack. So it's literally perfect. I am chopping some onion on mine. I just like pizza, sauce, mozzarella, onion and garlic, but we're all out of garlic, because I use a lot of garlic. I know the garlic's really good. You can also know we're running out of groceries when it's pizza night, it's like ordering pizza but cheaper and better. I like a lot of sauce and not too much cheese smells a little more sauce, but it's hard to get the right balance anyway. No, I think, since I can't have garlic on this one, I'm gon na put onion under that she is never too much onion. You turn it over over is out of there sweet you watch track tonight. No, what do you watch? I don't like where you're watching movies? It'S just, not a passion right, it's a classic! Okay. What do you want a lot? I'M invaluable? It must be spent. Oh, I got some backup Sierra's, not digging the first season, okay, so Stephen and I I'm watching the office for the first time, Stephen in Surrey, watching it he watched all the way through once. I just don't think it's that funny. The first season they're trying to think of it. The characters are incredibly OneNote like it give me some death, yeah and right now. Steve'S know is just like offensive note, but he gets better okay. So that's what you said and then I asked Kenzi and she goes. Oh yeah, that's better after the first season. What do you not like about it, and I was like well the characters, you're just really OneNote and she goes well. Then it's not gon na get better, because that's just what the office is. I don't wan na say anything cuz. This is your pizza. This is why personal pizzas, well also, we should do pizzas at the beginning or the fridge is full because it's like, oh, let's, try some of that. Some of this that's true. I got ricotta here. You keep looking for fun things to put on your pizza. You know peanut butter on your pizza. Manny'S know the oven is fun to you for our pizzas. Also, we work, I usually work out in the mornings even prefers to work out in the evening. But the weird thing is now: I'm like kind of sweaty and gross, and I want a shower, but also we're gon na go in the jacuzzi in like an hour. But then I don't want to get sweat in the jacuzzi, so I should shower before I go in the jacuzzi see. This is too much for me, one for bruiser, one for the house, one for the other. I love when I catch this. A hot tub the Internet has been influenced me negatively in the oven. Alright, I'm gon na go off in the shower and then we'll enjoy our pizza, Jacuzzi and some sort of movie or the office we'll see. Tada look at those saws. They look delish yeah pizza. Alright, I think these guys mine looks delish delish. Oh I'm so excited those look so good, alright! Well, the time has come. We have to decide what we're gon na watch while we eat. Oh, you don't wan na watch a movie or movie after the jacuzzi. Okay. Let'S watch an episode of The Office while we eat cuz I'd rather go in the spa sooner rather than later. We'Ll turn on this bond like an hour it's about eight o'clock right now, after we get out of this fall, we can either have individual video game time or we can watch a movie together sounds good. Nothing, Oh also update. I just thought about as Steven cuts his pizza, I don't feel sick at all. No, I don't know, I think it was a throat thing in the morning cuz it is so dry. I mean I'm still gon na like take the highest precautions, but I don't think I'm getting sick. I think it was maybe just like the dryness and the heat. So that's a good sign, I'm happy about that. I was getting a little nervous. Let'S do it, I'm so excited I I was. I saw this swimsuit in my drawer and I was like. Why do I never wear this? This is so cute and then I put it on. I was like oh yeah, cuz it like smooches, my boobs and it's like super cheeky and it's just it's kind of see-through, and it should that's why I don't wear this, but it's just us in the jacuzzi so and everyone watching. You know what I'm actually gon na go ahead and end the vlog before we go out into the jacuzzi, so I don't have to worry about bringing the camera with me and getting it all wet. So thank you guys so much for watching. Oh, did you give me a white cloth and an IPA? Thank You Cheers they helped those ventures there we go. Thank you guys for watching. I hope you enjoyed this vlog and we'll see you in the next one. Bye,

Patti 1962: If leaving sweet notes can predict a long marriage, you guys are in GREAT shape. My husband and I have been doing this for one another for our entire marriage of 32 years. I find notes in my shoes, makeup, drawers etc. His last "note" was "I love you" written on post it notes stuck to the mirror where I get ready.❤ Great job, Stephen!

M HWITS: The respect of “I have a little tickle in my throat so I maybe shouldn’t walk outside” literally we STAN!! The immunocompromised/high risk community LOVES YOU! I wish everyone was this conscientious, even though it is probably nothing!

Samantha: Sierra's productivity fuels my productivity

Shruti Kumar: I audibly "awwwwed" when I saw Steven's note to you... Y'all as so cute. I wanted to thank you for being so consistent with vlogs and podcasts and main channel videos, they've been getting me through the day. I love you so much.❤️❤️❤️

Sarah de Marrero: Hey Sierra! Speaking of ovulation and TTC, when you said you were ahead on filming I happened to think you might want to consider first trimester nausea. Mine started later (around week 7) but it has been INTENSE and lasted a month now. I haven't been able to do even simple tasks most days. Thankfully we're in quarantine, so I don't have to. But considering your upload schedule, you might want to consider filming 4 or 5 videos in advance. That way you don't feel pressured to announce earlier than you want when questions come about a dip in content. All that being said, I don't wish this level of nausea on anyone! I only wish someone had warned me of just how bad it can be. My mom was only nauseated for a couple weeks and could continue working with no problem. I guess I assumed I would be the same. Turns out you never know

Katie Callahan: I would try not brushing out your hair at all! We have similar hair and ever since I stopped brushing it out regularly I've noticed a big difference in my curls.

KoiraStar: Don't brush your hair after getting out of the shower. That makes the curls break out and straighten. I just use my fingers to part my hair. And unfortunately, yeah, waiting for the damaged parts to grow out is going to be what makes the biggest difference.

Candice Christensen: Curly-haired people with hair similar to hers, don't brush your hair. Use the wide-toothed comb with conditioner in your hair in the shower. If you brush your hair it is breaking up the natural curl of your hair so your hair will not look as curly as you want.

Rebecca Shanks: I don’t have curly hair, at all, but I’m still always so excited to hear you talk about your hair lol

Fabby Torres: I love how independent you guys are yet you guys are such a good team❤️ I love that I’m able to watch your personal channel and the blogs ❤️

Christiana G: Next time you do that you should really try not to brush your hair after your shower, maybe try to do it in the shower and when u get out just leave it! I have curly hair and never brush my hair. And I agree I think your ends will curl so much more after a good haircut!

Sarah Ardolino: I have wicked curly hair. A few years ago, the ends of my hair were sooo damaged that my hair was completely straight. I had half curly, half straight hair for about a year, then I cut my hair pretty short and got rid of all the damage... Now my hair is as curly as ever ! I can't wait to see what your hair looks like after you cut off the dead ends. Cheers from one curly girl to another !

Maiya: These quarantine vlogs have been the best ever! I love your guys relationship and how well you work together. Stay safe and healthy Sierra, we love you

Princess Faith: I honestly love how you and Stephen both always give the other person the option of a shared activity or a solo one, I feel like so many couples (and people in general tbh) are like "oh we have to spend every waking moment together!!" especially during self isolation and I honestly I just think it's cute how "solo video game time" is always on the table

Brandi Weilbaker: I have an interview to teach at my dream school in about 45 minutes! I def needed this to watch so I could calm down! Thanks for being that for me it’s a virtual interview so I will have to channel me some Sierra!

Ava Falk: Everyone got to get a man like Steven

Lindsey: I love the way your natural, no-product hair looks. Mine is a good bit longer, but looks similar. It looks tamed but effortless. Sometimes I feel like I look a good bit younger if my hair is too out of control. Use a spray bottle to spritz the less curlier pieces and they should get a little springier!

cory: I hope after this quarantine you still vlog a lot, they’re legit my favorite and I look forward to them :)

Gemma Golden: I do curly girl too, but at first I also brushed it wet. Then, I started to comb it when it had conditioner in and then squish to condish, and then squish to get water out. Then just leave it! It gets so much more wavy that way. I will brush the next day, and it's these beautiful silky waves. Just try it if you get a chance- I don't do product anymore and my hair looks great just by not brushing it wet!

Carina Serrano: Omg ! That’s literally what my hair looks like! I stopped putting product in mine because of quarantine. And the frizz has slowly became less and less. Still have crazy waves and curls though! I also have cut back on putting it up because it easily breaks off! Keep up the good work Sierra!

Heidi: Yesssss, Sierra here to make our day better! ❤️❤️ Thank you for the vlogs, I live alone and being in quarantine is hard so watching your vlogs makes me feel like I have company❤️ Love you!

Tanner Harding: Omg Sierra I totally feel you. I live in Boston and every day play a fun game of “allergies or covid???” because there’s quite a bit of overlap in symptoms! So stressful

Lexi Babe: I have wavy hair and last week decided to start embracing my waves. I love your hair without product. Mine is frizzy and looks crazy. I would love to see more updates as the months go on because it will keep me motivated to continue.

pisces031372aj: Watching these vlogs are like hearing from a friend during this period of isolation.... and I'm loving it.

Chelsea Watkins: Okay, you guys are SO adorable! You just made my morning so happy❣ stay safe & much love! xoxo

Ashley Recinos-Garcia: Denman brush = curly girl’s life saver!!! ❤️ I also went through a transition back to my naturally curly hair after bleaching it so much & GIRL! It was a long journey but I LEARNED soo much!! 1) always get a deva cut/dry hair cut 2) only wash your hair 1-2 times a week and make sure to deep condition once a week 3) detangle your hair with your fingers with conditioner in the shower 4) immediately plop your hair for 5 minutes and apply your products to wet but not dripping wet hair 5) use the Denman brush to distribute the products 6) break the gel cast when your hair is dry by scrunching your curls with a tad bit of oil and you’ll have beautiful curly hairrrr❤️❤️❤️. Also, I LOVE your swim suit!! Where is it from?!

Lexi K: SIERRA the office gets better, I promise!!! The characters aren’t one note!! You get to know their personalities and you will truly fall in love with each of them. Give it a chance, it’s worth it ❤️

Sébastienne Halbleib: I love these vlogs, they really make my day. Love you guys ♥

lalalalalalalala8111: Some pieces of your hair are scraggly from the years of damage from heat products which is why many curly girls do the big chop to get rid of all the non-curly/wavy pieces. My hair has damage in the back actually from doing a pineapple with wet hair for a year and I am now in the process of restoring the curls. When you do decide to eventually cut your hair and get those bad pieces gone your hair will look more uniform. HOWEVER it is important to note that no one has the same curls all over their head. I have 2c-4a curls all over, my damaged section is the 2c area.

raymars: It's like hearing my own hair story!! Upper hair straight-ish and the rest curly, used to do a half up-do... haha. Relatable! Love your vlogs, hope you are ok over there. Love from The Netherlands ❤

Natalie Widener: The Vlogs, Main Channel Videos, and Podcast is the only thing getting me through this time! Thank you so much!

Mia maven: You have gorgeous radiant skin. I love your infectious positive energy, I wish you both the very best.

beepboop_bitch07: im officially convinced we have the same hair. i've been doing the curly girl method for one month now and it looks SO much better. also looks a lot like yours lmao

Jo Wicked: Sierra!! The Office gets so much better!!! You are awesome btw, I have been watching so much of your videos while being home and during my homework breaks. Thanks for being awesome and you have inspired me to branch out on new outfit ideas!!

Aylin U.: Hey :) love your hair without products... looks way more effortless ..gives me mediterran beach vibes

Nikki Bradley: I actually think your hair looks lovely in this vlog. It looks super soft. If you continue to let it air dry I bet it would actually boost your curly girl results. Maybe some oil once it's fully dry to combat slight frizz? Other than that it's great!

Tini Van Mossevelde: I was bingewatching your old videos, so exited for this upload! Thanks for uploading Sierra! This is a greaaaat distraction❤️❤️

karagira: LOVING these daily vlogs!!❤

alix9292: Thank you sosososo much for making this video! Of course it took me forever to realize we have very similar hair texture, so I went to your earlier video where you talk about the products you use/don't use. Great video!

StealingSunsets: thank you for your content, you’re getting me through quarantine ♥️

Emily Goude: Steven: I don’t like rewatching movies Also Steven: lets rewatch the office

agirlnamedkaitlyn: " I laugh a little bit but I'd rather watch Friends" LITERALLY ME. Also my boyfriend REFUSES to re-watch movies too but I'm all about it he makes fun of me for re-watching Cinderella story like 3 times per year

G G: It’s the opposite with my hair!! I tend to try and take a break/be lazy and not use products and My curls seem to do so much better without them! The frizz can be bad (I live with a ton of humidity) so if it is I’ll put a little frizz oil in my hair. Anyway, I LOVE your vlogs!!

erin erin: I like your main channel videos a ton but I personally LOVE your vlogs. They’re my favorite. They feel more personal and less scripted. You’re doing a great job

Nicole Allan: I know you're not trying to lose weight but you're looking so much happier and healthier x

Lyna Zbranek: Love all your videos! When you are able you should find a stylist that can cut curly hair!! My niece does the curly girl method and has someone that cuts curly hair into nice long layers! You are amazing and I love your positivity and y’all’s new home!

Ari V: Thank you for consistently posting and giving us something to watch! A ton of the youtubers I follow have been taking a break/posting less frequently... this is when we need you the most!!!

EClare: Stephen's little "hey baby I love youu" is literally everything I want in life

Stephany Basney: I've been doing the curly girl method for about a year now, I love seeing your progress! Please look up swavy curly courtney on here, she is amazing at curly girl stuff!

Elliot Razerback: I’m also in the process of discovering my curly hair, and mine looks similar to you with different waves, curls and straight pieces. So you’re not alone! I just wish I could make the back of it curlier

Amber May: Love your vlogs Sierra!

aka Constantine: You gotta get past the first season of the office!! I had the same reaction!! The characters DO get better. They all learn how to vib together and it gets fabulously funny!!

Brigida Olmsted: Your vlogs are seriously my favorite part of the day

Ellie: Your skin is GLOWING! Love that for you

Annie Dufner: Yes love that mindset for doing active things. That flexibility has changed my view on working out. When I’m ready to do a hard workout I want to, not because I’m forcing myself.

Danielle Joy: Oh my gosh your hair reminds me so much of mine! If I don’t put product in it it’s a slight wave and puffy/frizzy haha have you tried the rice rinse?? I’ve heard that’s awesome I’m just starting to research it and maybe try it myself !

Nichole Appel: My favorite part of the vlog is when Sierra said she would rather watch friends than the office because friends is better than anything ever

Lucille Elizabeth: Lol Sierra is me trying to part my hair over and over and over again

Isabel Tapia: I love yours and Stephan's relationship its so pure! Me and my hubs laugh because I'm working from home and his job is on a hiatus until the pandemic is over because he travels for work, but he'll kiss me and tell me to have a good day at the office then I come and walk into the dining room lol. His full time job right now is streaming himself and friends play video games. Hey my commute to work is fabulous right now!

Sara Maldonado: Girl u have been so consistent on ig I’m living for it!!

Adequate Adult: Stephen is right on with adding ricotta! And also, season 3 of the office is one of the best seasons of any sitcom to have ever appeared on TV. I don't care for the 1st season, 2nd they are figuring it out, 3+ is gold.

Zoe Jones: Personal time is a must! So Glad you are making time for yourself ☺️

Rachel Collins: Keep watching! It tried to be like UK version for season one, and I think American audiences didn't really take to that style, so they changed the characters. I loved the first season, but Canadian humour is similar. Stick it out! I've watched this show so many times..lol

Amanda: i would love to see a fitness favourites video where you show us all your favourite workout clothes! love you sierra!!!

Demi Dornbusch: Steven I’m so with you! I don’t like rewatching movies! I already knows what happens so I get bored. I like the suspense of not knowing what happens with new movies

Sara Maldonado: Okay just finished th survivor podcast while I did chores an I am so happy skylar was there because I feel like she was in the same boat as most of us like I’m not really that into survivor but I love Sierra and want to support her so let’s do it lmao

Carmiya Solomon: I actually did the same thing with my hair yesterday. I had mixed results too.

Whattheheck BEC: Omg this is JUST what I needed! A Sierra video. I’m a single momma and today has been a rough one... and it’s only 12:48pm. I’m so glad you uploaded!

Jessica Musselman: you two are PERFECT together I'm obsessed

Emily Webb: haha Stephen "I don't like rewatching movies, that's not a passion project of mine" SAME

Nicole Martel: My fiancé and I tried to watch the office three times before we finally got into it, and that’s only because we straight up skipped season 1 altogether. Tbh didn’t feel like we missed much and it was SOO GOOD after that.

Sabina Hertzum: The toplayer ( or canape ) of the hair is ALWAYS the most dry and damaged - especially when coloring and highlighting... If you haven’t used olaplex you should try it - it will repair the hair from within - and when combined with the right combination of hydration and protein it could get the canapé of the hair back to a place where it will curl better :)

Allie A: Hey! Just an idea: I would love to see a video of your favorite crop tops. I love it when you wear cropped things, it makes me feel more confident as a size twelve showing some skin!

elyssa pack: Yesss more hair videos please!!

MaineCoon01: I had a perm in college which looked great when it was freshly done. After waiting the appropriate time, I took a shower and I brushed it out when it was mostly dry. Mistake on my part. It was sooo frizzy and puffed out, I was like nuh-uh. So I wet my hair again, lightly towel dried it (no microfiber towels existed yet) and gently used a wide toothed comb to take out any tangles. Did not use any product and let it air dry. It looked way better. That is my suggestion, microfiber squeeze dry, wide toothed comb and air dry. You are a beautiful woman. Love your smile and positivity.

gaby_nic_: For my curly hair it’s the contrary from you Sierra! My top layer has beautiful curls but the under layer is straight

Sammi O: Hey Sierra! Love the vlogs!

Sydney: I have the same pink tangle teezer and it made me super excited to see you using it!

Heather Hudson: Yeah I think the top layer and bottoms of the hair get the most damage so when that grows out all of your hair should look just as healthy as that under layer

Kim Fernandez: You guys are so cute together! I have been a subscriber to your other channel for awhile now just subscribed to this one tonight love it miss your room makeovers my fav.

Frankie: Your hair is still repairing itself. Eventually the top parts will curl as nicely as the bottom. I use to straighten my hair all the time until a few years ago I did the big chop. It's taking awhile for my hair to grow back and there are still some areas that have been more damage than others.

Enya: omg that's like how my hair goes, like sometimes the ends will be straight and the rest wavy and I have some strands/areas of my hair that go a lot straighter while others form almost ringlets. It always annoys me just for the fact that its not all the same. Even if it was either all straight or all curly I wouldn't mind

Savannah Lansdowne: Stay committed to the office!!! It's so great!! Ice watched it at least 15x over and still laugh. Dwight is my role model LOL

Michaela F: Season 2 gets heaps better Sierra, the office is one of my all time favourites, give it a chance hehe. The characters gain a lot more complexity

Philippa Baxter: My opinion about the office is you need to watch it more than once to appreciate it. They capture so much that watching it through once I guarentee you will miss things. The subtleties are what make the show funny, and I've seen it through probably over 8 times now and I'm still catching things I hadn't noticed before.

jb jb: Beautiful natural hair!

feed meimei: You have to keep watching The Office, most people don’t like seasons 1-2! It gets better season 3 and after!

Leah Bradley: You and Stephen are so precious. I can’t he loves you soooo much!

Belles Euge: I would absolutely love to see you do this again minus brushing out the curl. Maybe finger combing if you absolutely have too however if your detangling your hair and from what I saw while you were brushing it you didn’t really have knots in your hair. Now there is a ton that I do that I probably shouldn’t to my hair so I hope this didn’t come if as dismissive or judge because every curly hair is different and you goto do what works for you but I would just like to see the results just this one time pppllllleeeeaaaasssseeeeee!!!!

Jacqueline KenKnight: Sierra- Keep watching the office!! The first season isn’t my favorite but after it gets so much better and I ended I loving it so much.

Yasmin M: I dont think it's fair to judge the curls in your hair when it's bleached to be honest. I also have curly hair and I got highlights a year ago (i naturally have darker hair than yours and my highlights are as light as your ends right now) - and the different between the highlighted strand and the natural color strand is *NIGHT AND DAY* so I definitely think your curl pattern will fix itself once the bleached part grows out! <3

Baily McDaniel: A tip for your hair! Don't brush it!!! Inly use a wide tooth comb while you are in the shower. It helps reduce hair loss and you'll be pleased to know that it will help your hair curl up more when it dries.

Life With Ashley: My curly hair is the same! Without product I have random straight pieces in the front and the underneath is super well formed curls lol

Kayla Noel: When I tell people to watch the office, I tell them to watch a recap of season 1 and start in season 2 because that's where story lines really start and character development begins!

Alex_in_wonderland21: anyone else been binge watching all sierra content? with how bored ive been due to quarantine im just cycling thru old sierra videos and old glam and gore videos lol

Charlotte Doellefeld: omg omg SIERRA!!!! you NEED to do a workout routine, where you show what your go-to circuit is!!

Jessie NoJoke: You’re totally right. Where your hair is straight is where it’s the most damaged and dead. Really the only thing to do is grow it out because you did get a cut a while back.

James Kean: Have to say that Sierra is so relatable, she doesn't try to be someone else and you can tell that she loves her life and everything that she does in her life. She's a inspiration to everyone out there; that we should love ourselves and not listen to what other people have to say. She is uniquely her, and that's why I love watching her videos.

Jess P: They’re organization is incredible, literally how do they do it?

Ebba: Omg yes I did that half up hairstyle for years too because the front pieces of my wavy hair felt awkward oh and I love the bikini!
