Hey guys, what's up before I even begin this video, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been subscribed with me who has been watching my videos, even though I have been very inconsistent with my posting, and I really have not been posting anywhere Near as much as I should be, I'd like to thank you for staying with me, I thank you for subscribing just filming this video alone has been such a struggle. I don't know if you guys know, I have two kids, one is two years old and the other one is about two months old and it is very hard to get their schedules to kind of coincide where one sleeping and the other ones at least occupied, so That I can actually film it's like I've tried filming this specific video at least four times today, and what I usually do in this situation is, I literally just give up, and I'm just like. I can't this is just too much and I give up, but I just put my son in front of the TV, which is something I try not to do, but I really need to do it right now. I put him in from the TV to watch. His favorite show super monsters on Netflix. My other son is sleeping. I need to rush through this cuz. I don't know how long he's gon na be asleep. For so I'm sorry. If this is informal, I know I have spit up on my shirt. I got my mom button happening and I'm just a mess, but it's about the content right, not the presentation. So much so like you still love me anyway right, even though you know I got spit up and I look like a mess and my hair is in a bun and I'm wearing the sweatshirt for last three days. I guess I didn't have to tell you that last part, but now you know well anyway, this video is going to be about the best products that I found for my 4c natural hair in 2018 and in 2018 I really decided to focus on my natural hair Regimen and to not experiment as much as I like to experiment, because y'all know I am always buying new products. I am always experimenting with some new techniques - some new, this some new that, but this is the first time I found a technique that works and it works consistently for at least six or seven months. I noticed growth. I noticed my hair is flourishing. My hair, healthy, my hair, is thicker. Everything is awesome about it. So, of course, I'm gon na share it with you, because that's why I created this channel to share these kind of things with you, because I honestly I've looked and I haven't, found anyone not a one person with a routine that I could follow. These are my all-time favorite Holy Grail products of 2018, thanks so much for watching and I'm just gon na jump right into it, and the first thing I'm gon na talk about are my oils, because before I shampoo, I do a pre shampoo, hot oil treatment. That is something I incorporated in my routine starting this year. I I started probably about 7 months ago. I say this year because this is being filmed like December 28th, so it's probably gon na go up around January 1st, but yeah. So the first thing is my oil: is my all-time favorite oil all-time all-time all-time? Is the vodka coconut oil? I'Ve talked about this many times in the past. This is far superior to coconut oil. It is a blend of other things in it, not just coconut oil and it doesn't perform the same. I love this. My hair doesn't like regular coconut oil as much, but this bad boy it loves. I get it off of Amazon I'll leave links to all of the products down below, so you can find them. Most of these things are pretty affordable and I stick with the mostly natural routine. So if you're into like more natural products and stuff, then you will like the products that I'm gon na recommend vodka coconut oil for my pre-poo hot oil treatment. I have a video I'll link, the video somewhere up there and also in the description box about my mix from my Priest, shampoo, hot oil treatment, but this specific coconut oil extra virgin olive oil. It doesn't matter the brand for the olive oil just added some extra virgin olive oil, but honestly I haven't tried any other kind of olive except for extra virgin, so maybe another olive oil regular elbow might work. I don't know all I know is this extra virgin olive oil has been rocking with me for the whole year, tea tree oil. That also goes in my mix. It'S so good for your scalp, so I definitely recommend tea tree oil again this time, I'm not recommending this specific brand, I'm just recommending tea tree oil in general and castor oil. I can recommend this brand specifically of castor oil. It'S home health, or sometimes I use the Jamaican black, castor oil. The only thing is that you're making black castor oil is more pricey. So that's why I kind of stick to this one: it's more affordable and but either one is fine. They even have like any kind of castor oil is fine, really, I think, but those are the two that I've been using and I've been loving now. The next thing that I'm gon na talk about are my shampoos. I guess my cleansers, so my favorite shampoo this year, I've been very, very strict with my shampooing. I make sure I shampoo at almost every single wash the first shampoo I'm gon na talk about is my living proof. Full shampoo. This is a really good clarifying shampoo, and this one is like probably the only product in here that's like has probably been really not so good ingredients, but it's really good at clarifying my hair. I don't use it every wash. I probably use it every two to three washes or whenever I feel build-up, whichever one you prefer, it doesn't technically say it's a clarifying shampoo, but it is really good at cleansing your hair, I don't know if it's good for hard water, but if you have like Product buildup on your hair. This is good for getting rid of product buildup off your hair. If I'm not using that shampoo nine times out of ten, I am using this one. It'S the rentier, biotin and collagen shampoo. I love this specific line. I use the conditioner to match, which I will talk about later, but I love this shampoo. It gets my hair clean, it does the job, it smells good and I've had this bottle. I think I have like this much left. I bought it in the beginning of the year I shampoo my hair once a month in the fall and winter and then in the summer. More often, if I work out more - which I don't, but if I do work out that obviously I'll do it more often if my scalp itches or it smells I'm gon na wash my hair, I'm not gon na, say: oh I'm not supposed to wash it. No I'm gon na wash my hair, but since I don't produce much sebum, my scalp usually doesn't itch or smell. So this is my go-to shampoo and a little bit goes a long way. But when I do shampoo, I shampoo two to three times, because I make sure that my hair is clean, so yeah. These are the two shampoos that I use. If I want to gently cleanse my hair - and I really don't have any build up, my hair still feels moisturized. I go to my clay washes and the two types of clay washes that I use are henna for cassia for henna. I'Ve tried different brands of henna. This is by far my favorite brand of henna. It'S the new pour henna, it's not just henna. It consists of nine different herbs as well that you can read about here. I get this off of Amazon as well, it does have dye release, it is regular henna and you have to leave it on your hair for a little bit longer. So when I want to do like a quick, oh also, this kind of works like a protein treatment. For me, it kind of strengthens the hair. So if I don't want the strengthening aspect so much, but I want more of the conditioning aspect of henna, I will use this, which is not labeled. So why am i showing you a plain silver bag, but it's cassia um. I don't remember where I got this from, but I will find some cassia and I will link it below. I, like cassia, is considered a neutral henna. It doesn't have any dye release, so it won't stain anything, but it makes your hair shiny. It makes your cuticles lead and flat, and so I love this for in-between wash days. If I feel like I don't need to shampoo, but I do need a light cleanse. I will use this and whenever I use either of these, I always mix it with bentonite clay. I find bentonite clay really helps the henna or everybody prod powders in general, to absorb into my hair better. So I definitely mix them with bentonite clay. I either do handle it's bentonite clay or I do the castile with bentonite clay. I usually don't mix these two together because I'm trying to save money - and I don't want to waste product that kind of does the same thing so yeah, that's what I use - and this is a brand of bentonite clay that I use. This is what I've always been using. I haven't tried any other cup brands, but this works really well for me. I also use it on my skin, not just on my hair in case you're wondering so after I cleanse my hair. I need to condition it. There'S only one one conditioner that I've been using for the entire at least six months, maybe longer I'm not sure, since at least May I think, maybe March, but at least maybe cuz. I remember I use it for Mother's Day and that's when I kind of switch this whole regimen, but anyway, the only condition of I have been using is this one it's to biotin and Carl thickening, conditioner, firmer and pure. It has amazing slip. It'S really good for detangling, my hair. It keeps my hair balanced because of this I no longer use deep conditioner. He heard me. I no longer use deep conditioner. I know it's almost sacrilegious to say, but after using this, I found that I really don't need deep. Conditioner anymore in my hair feels balanced. It feels strong and feels healthy and yeah. That'S my holy grail, conditioner, I'm bringing it with me all these products, I'm bringing right with me into 2019. I am NOT planning on experimenting anymore with products on the store, because I always have issues like almost always nine times out of ten. I have issues so I've been kind of mixing and matching my own things, but yeah I'm gon na stick with what works until it stops working. So if I get boring on products, this is why, after I conditioned, I usually dry my hair and then I use eleven. I was using this leave at Camille's, naturals almond dry, twisting butter, and I they don't sell in stores near me, so I actually ran out and I had to make my own - and I was like I'm just gon na use this to hold me over until I Get to the store, so I decided to mix my own, which is a mix of my homemade shea butter. I mixed that with some different um leavings, and I just made this concoction - I'm not thinking it was going to be any good, but just to hold me over and oh, my goodness, it is so amazing. It'S the most amazing thing. I'Ve used for my hair. So far, so, if I'm not using my DIY leave-in, I use the Camille Rose, Naturals almond right, twisting butter, I don't use water on my hair. Cuz water is just too basic. Well, actually, no, it's not too basic. I'M just kidding the reason why I don't use it. It'S because rose water is better rose water. I don't know why I didn't think it'd make a difference, but it helps balance. The pH of my hair helps the cuticles lay flatter, so I prefer rosewater over regular water. So if I do use any water in my hair or in a conditioner mixed or anything like that, it is definitely rosewater. This is the brand that I use again. I get it off Amazon and I like it, it works now. If I do straighten my hair, I use heat protectant. This is the one that I've been using. If I apply heat to my hair, I use a heat protectant and I use the OGX heat protectant. It is I like it, it works, it protects my hair, it says it dries it quicker. I don't know if it tries to quicker, because I don't really have much to compare it to, but I really do like it and yeah. That would be my favorite heat protectant. I'D recommend it for anyone with 4c. Here I guess now. This last bad-boy has changed my hair game, a thousand percent. This is, and I'm sure, you've seen it everywhere. The ROO there, the infamous Rivera now honestly, when I receive this package, I really thought it was gon na be gimmicky, and I really didn't think like I'd, be that into it, especially for $ 400, but I need to do a whole separate review on it. This thing is amazing, like I'm gon na insert pictures of my braid outs when I use this to UM straighten my hair first or blow out my hair first, I one trick. I do. I don't use it on soaking, wet hair. I air dry, my hair first and then I lightly dampen it before I use it. But this thing is amazing: it's like massive. It'S like a freaking vacuum, an actual vacuum cleaner, but it's amazing. It'S not a blow dryer. So don't expect it to be a blow. Dryer, don't expect it to do blow dry, your things, it's none of that, but it's amazing it's great for stretching my hair yeah. When I tell you that everything that can go wrong has gone wrong, waffling and filming this video, I'm not lying, but I'm in a different location, because my camera over here on story, technical difficulties, so I'm in a new location, don't be surprised. I took my hair down because it's hot as heck my hair. Actually, if you take a look at it um, it is due for a wash it's been about almost four weeks since I last washed my hair, so it is definitely due for a wash and I took it down to enjoy it for a couple of days before I wash it I have my son in my lap, so if you hear any like funny noises, this is why all right so last two things I am going to talk about is I already started talking about the Rivera ready. It'S amazing it's good for stretching my hair when I want to do braids out, which is like my style of choice at the moment. So I do one month of protective styling at one month of wearing my hair out. When I do wear my hair out. I do stretch it with the Revere. It'S amazing. It'S life-changing. I need a whole video on it. You definitely if you've been on the fence, definitely buy it. If you're like a professional hairdresser, you don't need it because you're a professional hairdresser or if you're, like a professional at blowing out your hair, you probably don't need it either. But if you're, the kind of person who like me is just like just doesn't have time for all of that, and you want to avoid damage, because it is very gentle on your hair. Then I highly recommend the Revere and, like I said, I'm gon na. Do a whole separate video on that. The last thing that I'm going to talk about is my wig, which is what I use on the months that I protective style. It'S this bad boy right here. It is definitely on its last leg, ooh this. This is my wig. I have some pictures of me wearing it and the months that I don't have my hair out and I'm protective styling. I do wear that wig and that's when I want to have an out style. I think it looks really good. I got it from best lace, wigs yeah. I got it from best lace, wigs. I thought it was a really good price point for what it was and yeah that's the end of my favorite products of all time for 2018, at least actually of all time. Yeah. I'M sticking by that these are my favorite products of all time for 4c natural hair. Thank you so much if you got this far in the video please subscribe to my Instagram subscribe. NF N: You always have the best recommandations ! some of my favorite products I got because of you and we already had a lot of products in common so I trust your judgement. I wanna try the rose water, the cassia obovata and that biotin conditionner. I usually skip that step but slip+great moisture?? im into it. I hope someone comes up for something that does what the Revair does but cheaper becausee that price is :////////. The year gave us that amazing revlon brush so Im hoping 2019 gives us a cheaper Revair that would change the styling game for sure.

Morgan Tylar: Glad you're back!!!! You look great! And baby boy is so handsome! I will definitely try out this routine. That's what I need to focus on in 2019. My regime is non existent smh. I'm always buying new products, but I think I'm narrowing down to some staples.

Rae Talks: For those who want added shine to their hair opt for Olive or almond oil. Itchy scalp? Add tea tea with a carrier oil to your scalp. Dry hair? Add glycerine to you deep conditioner and steam with heat. FYI avoid styling your hair products with glycerine as this does not hold a style . Thanks you sharing. I have not used henna as a cleanser .

Amanda: Your hair is gorgeous! But your baby boy stole the whole show, he is sooo cute!!!!
