Hey Ya'll!!

Here is the updated wash day routine that I have adapted since bleaching my natural hair. My current products have served me and my curls so well, and I don't have any noticeable damage from the color treatment. If you are considering a major hair change, I hope this will be good inspo. for you.

Hey y'all, i'm back with an updated curly hair, routine. I'M going to let you guys see what i do to keep my bleached natural curls intact. I'M not going to do a long intro we're just going to jump right into my hair, routine, okay, y'all! So the key to a good wash day routine with any length of hair, is making sure your hair saturated from root to tip with water. That'S going to allow your products to really soak in and your scalp to release that dirt out. I usually let the water run over my head for one to two minutes, but you may need more time for longer hair to cleanse my scalp, i'm going to go in with the design, essentials almond and avocado moisturizing and detangling sulfate free shampoo. I do this step to remove any buildup from the scalp and also add moisture back in before i use my color, preserving shampoo to refresh my platinum, shade and neutralize any brassiness in the hair. I'M gon na go in now with the clairol shimmering lights, shampoo for blonde and silver hair. I typically do two rounds with this shampoo rinsing thoroughly and massaging the water through my hair, making sure not to leave a lavender residue behind. I don't use the shimmering lights. Conditioner, for this reason, when i attempted to use their conditioner, it did leave a lavender residue in my hair and i had to use a different shampoo to wash it out. Instead, i deep conditioned with the shea moisture jamaican black, castor oil, strengthen and restore treatment mask. I decided on this product honestly. After doing some youtube research, the label also advertises that this is color, safe and good on chemically processed hair and so far it's performed for my curls extremely well. After applying, i usually leave this in for 10 to 15 minutes. While i finish my shower because i'm filming i went ahead and rinsed this out immediately, so that i can remove this bando top and bathe. I know that i can edit my actual shower out, but i'm way too paranoid to do that with the camera rolling. Okay. So we're going to kick off the styling portion by combing through my hair, i'm combing it in an upward motion, kind of spiking it to make sure that my leave-in touches every strand for leave-in conditioner, i'm applying a leave-in from the same shea moisture, jamaican black, castor Oil line, i just apply a generous amount to my hair, and then i go back and comb it through. So i usually wear my hair one of one of two ways. I either do a molded down style or i wear it curly today, i'm going more so for a curly look, but i am going to show you guys my mold down process first with either style. I go in with the lotta body foaming mousse and for a more flat molded look. I take a medium bristle brush and brush the hair in the direction that i want it to go in then i secure it with a wrap and sit under a hair dryer for 45 minutes to an hour. I'Ve been going for a more tapered, curly style lately. So what i'm gon na do is leave my edges, molded down and i'm gon na comb and manipulate my curls into the shape that i want them in. I didn't do it in this video, but i also lock my edges in with the crystal eco styler gel. It'S the clear one: it's alcohol free and it's also color safe. Once i'm done, i do take a towel and wipe away any of that excess product around my edges, and that is the finished. Look you guys. I hope that you could find this video useful. I tried to keep it short and to the point: if you're, considering big chopping or color, treating your own natural hair, give this video a thumbs up. I hope that you could find it inspirational, don't forget to subscribe. If you haven't already and i'll see you in my next video
