What'S up my people welcome back to my channel, it should girl, just Denise if you are new here, welcome, stop what you're doing and hit that subscribe button, don't forget to comment below I'm and also like this video and share it if you find it helpful. So today's video is kind of self-explanatory. Basically, what I'm, showing you guys is how I prepare my pipe cleaners to curl my locs. I did pipe cleaners. Am I here for the first time I think, like a little over a month ago, and I fell in love like I actually fell in love with it actually done up. I will try to insert a picture here or here which I'll show you guys that process too, and that was my first time doing. It actually warm for a whole week and then, when I took him down it was these really pretty Shirley Temple curls and after that, I've done it one other time for a wedding meet and my man went working saw, but I wanted to do a story time. So I kind of vlog that let me know if y'all would like to see - and I want to do like a story time about the bachelorette party, but I might have some permission. First anywho, I fell in love with this town. I wanted to come and show you guys, really quick. I am going to turn this into a three-part series, this being the first video which is basically showing you how I prep my pipe cleaners I'm doing this, because I would usually do it on the weekend, but I'm gon na try to squeeze it in during the Week and I have a really tight schedule, so I'm gon na prep my pipe cleaners today and probably wash my hair and install it either tomorrow, which will be Tuesday or probably Wednesday, but I'm gon na record the process for you guys. That will be the second video which is the install and then i'ma wear those for a couple days. I recently got a promotion at my job. I have a three-day weekend and then I start my new position on Tuesday and I want my hair to be Shirley Temple curls, so this week is basically dedicated to how I achieve my Shirley Temple curls. If you would like to see more of this video on how I prep my pipe cleaners or how many I use, please keep watching so this right here is what I'm going to be, showing you how to prep your pipe cleaners to installing your hair. Now these right here, of course, are already prepped. I am going to reuse these, but, as I said in my intro, we went to a wedding in Arkansas and I know I lost some of them. Basically, what these are they're, either called pipe cleaners or elastic. You can literally get them from any craft store. I go to places are Walmart and Amazon, but you can go to Joey Hobby Lobby. Any place that sells crafts will actually sell these. I don't have the prices for every door. However, you a 25 pack fuzzy sticks at Walmart for 88 cents each or you can go to amazon.com, and I seen them as cheap as 598 for a hundred pack. Now, for me, I always get black, because my hair is black. My dreadlocks did or my like extension, whatever you want to call it. I will be posting a video on that too, but my locs are actually black now, but when I first got them within the first couple of weeks, I colored my hair red and I had never tried the style with my rig. So therefore, I used black pipe cleaners, but they have our different color pipe cleaners. Next is the prep, so the pipe cleaners look like they have longer pipe cleaners, but I don't need them. My locs are long, but I like my pipe cleaners to be short because I, like my curls to be tight, the tighter they are the longer they last. But what I do is I fold my pipe cleaner in half, leaving just a little bit of space just leaving about that much space and then what you're gon na do is you're going to take it all the way to the end and then you're going to Create because of a create a circle like so and you're going to spin it now I put my nail in there sometimes and spin it and then what you're gon na do is you're going to continue to wrap it around. As you go up, then it's going to look like so so I'll. Do that one more time you take a pipe cleaner about that way up and you take it down. You create that circle twist and then continue to twist upwards. That is how I put my pipe cleaners, so I'm actually gon na either do half of that bag or the whole bag. I'M not sure how many of the old ones that I had already prepped and used twice. I still have now. I use 45 about 45 to 50. In my hair. That'S me put in two locks on each pipe cleaner. If I want it fuller, sometimes I would just do one lock on the pipe cleaner, but it's up to you. If your locks are smaller, you might be able to fit from three or four on the pipe cleaner. Again is just your preference on how full you want your hair and how big or small you want the curls to be defined now the pros and cons. So I don't have that many of either to me. The pros, of course, is getting that amazing. Curl, like y'all, will see. I definitely love the protective style behind it, because you can literally put it in your hair and wear it as a style for as long as a week or two the longer you keep them up anyway. The longer your curls will say and the longer your curls will last another pro to it. Is it's cute like his super cute, so those are my pros. The only kind that I will have is that pipe cleaners they have this metal in the middle of the flexi metal and sometimes at the end, when I install it at the top it may get caught in my hair or if you keep it up longer, and You don't really moisturize your hair as you unravel it. Some of your drape may stick to it. However, if you prep your hair good before installing the pipe cleaners, as well as take care of your hair and not just slapping pipe cleaners in them and not not more, try some spray, no nothing like. I have a whole mix that I sprayed my hair and condition my hair more that I kept the upkeep of it taking it down, it didn't stick as much, so that would be the only time that I have the only thing that I would say that I Do differently when they did not stick versus when they did? Is I added a little bit more of my oil and my moisturizer? Therefore my lock wasn't dry and wasn't tempted to stick to the metal. So that's all for this video again. It was really quick. I'M recording this before I take on my makeup off and go to bed. I just wanted to come and show you guys how I prepped my pipe cleaners be on the lookout for the install. I will be, like I said, recording an install. I make you pop up a couple days and then I will record each take down alright, thank you for watching this video again.
