3D Printed Hairy Lion

Hi Guys!

I have seen a few people try out the Hairy Lion, so I figured I would give it a try.

This Lion was printed using Hatchbox Bronze PLA on the Geeetech MeCreator2. It printed great on the first try. I wish I had used a long blade knife to cut the hair from the shroud, but it still removed fairy easily. The hardest part is trying to sculpt his hair. I used a heat gun, but a hair dryer would have worked better and would have been more fitting. LOL!!!

The model I used can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:20072...

Thank you very much for watching!!!

Hey guys so today, I'm going to try printing a model that I found on Thingiverse and, I believe, there's quite a few people friend them out right now. It'S called the hairy lion. So when give that a shot with the hatch box, bronze PLA and we'll see how it turns out, she has none of the time. Okay, they leave. The lion is done. It took ten hours to complete exactly and now I'm going to try taking apart. I'Ve seen a few different ways of doing this. One way is you cut around so that the hairs are loosened up. I'Ve seen other people where they just cut down the side a little bit and then start unwrapping the support. What'S right, kit MIT, a my buddy will do that? Okay, let me see if I can trim down and then do it. Okay, I think Emily there we go is free, got a goal because I you know, I can remember, see the taking your dog or cat to the vet and they put that cone over Ted okay. So now you see, I lost some hair, but he can't really tell it except for a strand here and there that's pretty cool, looking that just feeling like that, let me go ahead, get them off the bill plate and then we'll try to sculpt this hair little Bay here, okay, so almost up to 70 degrees, it's a little too loose in the difficulty here. Okay, now the moment of truth, we need to take and make it look like a lion again other than a bottle brush. So I get the light here, a little bit better love's downs. I got my heat gun, I'm just going to put it on low and I'll start from the bottom here and see. If I can start getting these hair day, I'm got the heat gun, probably about a foot and a half from them. Wot'S warmest play. The thing is hair down that that's, what's so hot, so let's just go ahead and do it. I got ta know stuff on a little oil. I was hoping the. I could try a little bit my food, but I should bike home Omega. Oh yeah, your eyes here, look at the back here. It is Kim. I guess I get in a little something over the puppy's head. We don't get the begun be pusher from his burns, so I've got a little curl thing going on above his forehead. That'S all rocky! If I do them again, I'd better go. Take a comb and try coming up there. Hey. You know what I think. That'S a good look good. I don't! I get all matted. Looking that's different like it up there yeah that's a cool model, I'm sure the ones my family sees this on when we print worthy. Remember that air later on, this could be a little cruel right there. Poor wyan anyway, has to do it for this video and I'll put a link to in the video description where to find the file on Thingiverse, and as this was awesome bottle, I like it, you guys have a good one. Анатолий Белокопытов: Круто получилось. А Вы похожи на льва которого распечатали прической и цветом.

Dereck Newstrand: Just sharing. This is not for sale. My partner and I have come up with a way of 3D printing multi colors on a single roll of filament. We have designed it so that at the push of a button the user can select the color they desire or set a pattern up. With our system a person can tell the computer to print out just about any color they desire brand of filament does not matter. I MIGHT try to do a kickstarter when I get it the way I want it. this makes a great add on.
