Hi guys welcome or welcome back to my channel wow. It has been so long since i've sat down and filmed a video um. I was gone for a while and the videos that i posted in the last week or two were pre-filmed, and then i broke my toe. So that's just a random little side note, but i was kind of like laid up for the past couple of weeks, but i am feeling a lot better. I'M ready to get into some new content and in today's video we are going to be using the denman brush for my wavy hair, i'm just going to kind of go for it and do it how i've seen other people do it um. This is my first time using the denman brush. I got mine on amazon, so i'll. Have it linked down below my hair is wet. I just washed it, but i am going to add some product in and i'm gon na try to make sure my hair stays really wet while i'm styling it. So if i need to grab a spray bottle and just kind of spray it with water, i will do that just because you want your hair to be really wet for this before we jump into it, don't forget to subscribe down below, and you can also come Check me out on my instagram or my twitter, if you want to those, are linked in my description box and let's just start with the curl cream that i want to use. So i'm going to use my pros curl cream, you can use whatever curl cream or leave-in that you want. I just like that. This one is a little bit thinner, so it's not going to be anything too heavy and i feel like it's kind of also like a leave-in. So it's really moisturizing and i feel, like it'll, help the brush glide through my hair nicely, and i guess i'm going to try to like part it down the center for this. If you guys saw in my last hair video, where i did the finger rolling, i kind of ended up with really stiff ringlets, not stiff in the sense that they were crunchy or anything like that. But i didn't pull them apart at the end and i feel like it just wasn't my vibe i like to be able to just flip my hair around and tousle it and do whatever. So i want this to be a little bit more loose and like free um. So i'm not going to be doing like the clumping method that people do where they like twist their brush around and have like the spiral go around the handle. It'S more just gon na be like that flippy clumping method and then scrunching, so just a little forewarning, but i'm gon na take my curl cream. I'M gon na take like that much for this side of my hair and i'm just going to rake the product through my hair, since i am going to be brushing it out anyways. So there's no point in just trying to do the praying hands method like what i normally do. Do the other side about the same amount. Like two pumps, i don't think i'm going to like clip up sections just because i feel like i don't want to take the time to do that. I kind of just want to try this out in a way where, if i would end up doing this more, it would be like sustainable for me, because i'm not going to spend like a ridiculous amount of time. Styling my hair every day anyway or every wash day, so i'm going to grab the brush and i'm going to start like in the back sections of my head, i'm going to take decent sized sections like that. I'M just going to do what everyone says where you just kind of run the brush through your hair. Oh, that feels nice and then kind of just like do a little twist flick situation at the end, i don't know, maybe we should try that again. I feel like that. Wasn'T super smooth like that shake it out a little bit like everyone does. I don't know and then do just a little. Hopefully, you guys can see just a little scrunch, it's kind of hard to get back there, but like that, let's keep going we'll do some pieces forward and some back just to kind of get like a variety. This is actually going a lot faster than i thought it would, because i'm almost done with this side of my hair, and i do like the way that these pieces are clumping together really nicely. So that's a positive okay guys. So that's this side of my head. I'M actually really impressed with how this hair is clumping, like wow um. Obviously, i feel like i'm not getting like the volume at the root that i want yet so i am going to add another product at the end, so just stay tuned and i'll show you guys what i do, but this is what this side looks like. So definitely a big difference. It normally doesn't clump so nicely. Okay, guys it's been a few minutes because i had to charge my battery, but i did finish my hair. I shook it out a little bit so now it's a little bit more separated and the only thing about styling your hair upright like this, is that i feel like. I don't want to flip it over, because i don't want to mess up all the clumps. I made - and i usually do like flip my hair over and back when i'm styling it so next time. I would be interested to see what happens if i try to do my hair, like this kind of upside down or i'm not sure exactly we'll, have to see but we're going to go into our next product. I can literally see there's like a pimple or something forming right there, i'm just making it more red anyway. So the styler that i'm gon na use is the cake, the curl whip, whipped curl mousse. This is what the packaging looks like it's super cute, like pink fun, packaging. This is the first thing i've tried out from cake beauty. I haven't tried any of their other products and i am testing this out for a video. So i figured why not use it today and then i get another chance to test it out so shaking it up, like i always do with my mousse, i'm going to kind of do the same thing. Let'S put my hair down the middle, i am going to like shake it out a little bit, so it's not too stiff. My hair is starting to dry just a little bit like it's still really wet, but not as wet as it was before. So i'm going to do like that much for this side. I don't want to use too much product, and this is like a kind of almost a heavier mousse, not heavy, but like it's more of like a little goes a long way type of product than my. Not your mother's mousse smells really good, though like lemon cake, so i'm like kind of half squatting over my chair right now. So i can like stand up and get my hair in frame, i'm just kind of doing like a praying hands and then scrunching that in wow guys, i've used this mousse before and i liked it. But with this technique of the denman brush clumping my hair wow, that is like super impressing me - i need to like scrunch all the way to my root, though take some again like that much. That might be a little bit more it's hard with mousse because it expands i'm gon na put some over here again because i use so much now. I'M just getting mousse all over my face. So that's fun. Okay, guys so kind of have mousse. On my face. Um, but i always go wash my hands after using mousse. I just feel like it's kind of one of those product-y things, but i feel, like my waves - are looking really nice, especially this side like wow. Look at those clumps we're gon na have to see how it dries and everything, but so far i'm really impressed. I am gon na put my hand up into my roots and just kind of shake a little bit. I don't want my hair to be stuck to my root and i don't want to feel like. I can't flip it around once it dries i'm going to show you guys, the back of my hair and then i'm going to go wash my hands and let my hair dry and i'll come back when it's done hi guys, so i'm back it got darker outside. So i had to turn my ring light on. It'S crazy, the difference in lighting with natural versus like studio lighting like this but anyways my hair is completely dry. I really wanted to let it completely dry, so i did take a little bit longer than i sometimes do before getting back on camera, but i definitely have a little bit of a cast, especially on the top layer of my hair, and i am noticing my hair Looks very defined like i have like this ring litty piece up here, really pretty so i'm going to do what i always do and i'm going to scrunch my hair out with an oil i'm just going to use the pros one. You guys know i've been loving. This one for a while now, i'm just gon na, do a couple of drops i can see like since i didn't flip my hair around, and i kept it here to kind of maintain those clumps that i don't have like that much volume at my roots, but I feel like if i do a side part then that'll help a lot so grab some oil just kind of smooth it over the top to start and then i'm going to kind of just start breaking up that cast. So i am noticing, while my hair is scrunching out really nicely here in front and i'm getting really defined waves in the back, it's a little bit frizzy, i'm not exactly sure, what's causing that. Maybe the hair isn't completely dry. It feels dry. I guess maybe there's a little bit of coldness there, but i'm also noticing more definition in the back of my hair, like i feel like normally, the underneath of my hair just has like a very slight bend to it, and it's almost like, mostly straight. Oh, my gosh, you guys! I never get this look at this like perfect, coil ringlet. I don't know if you can like properly see on camera, but it's like the perfect bouncy little ringlet, i'm gon na. Take my fingers underneath and kind of shake out those roots. Okay, so this is how my hair is looking now that it's dry and i've scrunched out that crunch. I am going to flip it over and do a side part um, but i just want to show you guys how it looks like this because wow i just feel like this - is such beautiful defined waves. Obviously it did help to shake it out, but i still don't have a crazy amount of volume at the top of my hair and that's why i want to do the side part and i feel, like the clumps just formed nicely with that brush, so we're gon Na do a side part. That'S so pretty this side, my normal hair, routine. My hair just doesn't clump very well and i have done a whole clumping video for you guys if you want to check that out. But this is just a different technique and i really enjoy trying this out and i just think it turned out super pretty and again, like i honestly do feel like i have more like texture and defined pieces underneath my hair, i just it's usually pretty flat like I can see closer to my roots here in general um for wavy hair. For me like this is something that i would totally do again like much more likely than like the finger rolling or something like that. I'D much prefer this, but i don't know if it's something i do every time, especially when i'm in a rush just because it does take a little bit longer, even though it did actually take less time than i anticipated it to it, actually didn't take that long Compared to what i thought, but it did still take a while compared to my normal styling routine. So i don't know if it's something i do regularly, but it's definitely something i would do again, especially if i really want clumpy defined waves. I would recommend trying out the denman brush now. I think that it might depend on your specific hair, texture or type like what way you want to use it or what method you want to use and it might not work for everybody. But for me i do think it turned out really nice and i do like the like clumps that i got in the front of my hair. I still have to keep trying it out and i'll. Let you guys know my thoughts, but first impressions, absolutely beautiful and i do like the way that i used it. So i might try styling upside down next time, but i think i'm going to continue to do that like brush and then the flick twists thing at the end. I think that turned out really pretty i'm just gon na show you guys my results. One more time. Definitely let me know down below if you have tried out the demon brush, if you like it, if you don't like it, i'd love to hear your thoughts, don't forget to subscribe down below. If you have not already - and i will see you in my next video bye

Devon Frank: instead of splitting it down the middle while styling you should try having a section on top that you just brush straight up and let it fall back (still do the sides/back the same way u did in this vid) and youll get mor volume plus you wont have a part so u can keep flipping it from side to side while its drying. check out manesbymel she has videos on it!!!

Diana Suvorova: Today is the first time I used this brush! I have wavy hair! and it turned out very well too!

Pravljični kanal: Great results! I've been trying to get my denman technique down with little luck; good idea with changing the direction of the brush, that might help, as well as putting mousse/gel on afterwards (I've been doing it pre-brushing). How did the clumps behave on day 2?

blubbeldibubable: I was about to search for videos about the Denman on wavy hair when I saw you just uploaded exactly what I was looking for I also love that you aim to keep the routine manageable on a every (wash)day basis! Great video, great quality, great waves! Hope you're doing well

Sarah Morley: Stunning outcome with this routine hun I've just ordered the cake cream and mouse and I'm going to follow your method. I'm already a big fan of the denman brush

Genevieve Afonso: I just got my first haircut since starting cgm 6 months ago. I thought it would help my curls to spring up more because for some reason the right side of my head has ringlets, the left side is wavy, and the back is just a hot mess lol. This was so helpful, I'm going to get myself one. You've convinced me!

musicmama: Came out great! I'm considering trying the Denman to help my outer canopy layer, then just scrunching the under layer. All my easy, quick clumping waves are hidden!

Christy Durham: This is the first video I've seen of yours. I have used a Denman brush since December 2020. I love it! You can do it like you did in this video and dry upside down or flip from side to side and put clips in. I do all the time. Turns out great. Your hair looked so pretty ♡

mia onufrak: it's so nice to find someone who has a similar hair texture. i can't wait to try this out!!

Ines: I saw curly girls using it and it seemed great, I was wondering how it would look like in wavier hair. Thanks for the the video ❤️ btw it worked wonders on you, your hair looks great!

Lucy Grayson: I love this!!! Since cutting my hair to a more shag/mullet style it's not been clumping as well so my Denman has been a life saver.

Torrie's Nails: I just ordered the denman brush and can't wait to try it ..I'm a wavy slightly curly gal that has abandoned her curls recently. Now I'm restarting and hoping for good results, my husband is getting started too, he has gorgeous curls that I'm envious of

Erin: As a wavy haired girl it's good to see someone use this brush on their texture. I wonder if I need to buy a diffuser end or this type of brush next?

Julie Gaillard: Your hair is lovely! I can never get waves to hold styling upright with denman but get great curl definition and root volume using it on super soaked hair, brushing through hair all over (all the way to roots at crown)while upside down. You should try it!

Alexis Nicole: This was sooooo good Tabitha....would you please consider making a video of you using the denman brush and twirling your hair around the handle? I know you mentioned you didn't think that was your vibe but just for us to see the difference. I have a feeling it'll be great.

vhee why: I love the finished look! I have one of these brushes and wasn’t sure how to use it, can’t wait to try!!

Millie M: I came back to say I tried your technique, and it worked great! I will definitely try it again and experiment with different products, I’m still figuring out what works best for my hair. Thank you for the helpful video!

Erika's Beauty Corner: This was so helpful! I just picked up one of these brushes to try for my wavy hair. You look gorgeous ❤️

Amber Tao: Absolutely stunning! You've convinced me to try it out

Cathy H: I switched to a brush similar to the Behairful brush and I like the way that feels in my hand better. I section my hair now eventhough I thought I never would. I wasn't getting enough product in my inner layers and my hair was coming out straight.

AReallyTho: Looovee! Thank you so much! My hair is almost identical to yours, can’t wait to try this technique

Public Service Announcement: I love your honesty. "I'm not sectioning my hair because 'aint nobody got time for that.'"

Lisa Riedel: You may try using a blow dryer with diffuser. I do some upside down drying and side to side and no issues with loosing curls. Also, clips at the crown help with volume as does a diffuser. Good luck! I recently discovered the Denman and was surprised too how it really defines curls.

Millie M: Very pretty. I will have to try this. I only used Denman brush on couple sections cause I was too lazy and kinda confused how to use it, and also did the twist curls with it. Would love to see you do the twist curls with it.

Katie Jonza: This turned out gorgeous!! so well defined.

Sherry Russell: I’ve had my denman brush for couple weeks and haven’t used it but can’t wait after watching this video!!! Love your results!! Xo

anduwea: I had that brush before even my hair is straight. I love that brush

Ayano Aishi: My mom never lets me do my hair and she keeps saying “you can when you’re older” I haven’t washed my hair for a long time and she’s so mean when it comes to hair. I can’t remember the last I even washed my hair but seeing this video helps me know what to do so when I’m 18 (currently 13) so I can brush my hair correctly!

Anna Burns: I like these curls much better than the finger curled ones you did just recently. I may break down and try the denman brush. I also like seeing your beautiful dark hair growing in and the longer length is a good length. If you figure out a way to use the denman brush and get more lift on the top of your head, please share. I have seen some women brush the upper section straight up into the air....maybe that would help. Thanks for the demo!

Mica Pabia: Your hair looks so good!! Definitely want to pick up a denman brush now

Alma Smith: The definition is amazing!! This video has a very soothing vibe ☺️

christine cowin: Your hair looks so beautiful! Thanks for doing this video.

Karen Hise: Tabitha, we missed you. Glad you are better. Loved this tutorial. Would you please show how you do the very front of hair on top? I really like how it looks in all your videos. We have similar hair styles, but I am unable to get my hair to do this and make it stay all day.

Stephanie McCray: I’ve seen some people take like a Mohawk section and pull the brush up and back with the hair so when it falls, there’s some volume!

Sarah H.: Would you recommend using a gel after the mouse? Or do you think it would weigh it down? I haven't used mouse yet in my hair (I have 2b hair btw)

sara robinson: this video just solved so many problems i’ve been having with my hair

Loki09: I love this video, your hair is perfect with this technique! When you get your hair cut, what do you ask for??? I want this exact cut since we have such similar hair!

Lindsey Fisher: This turned out beautifully!

Laura Hogarth: I’d love to see how this same technique would come out if you diffused instead of air-drying!

Annie: To get definition you might want to use the brush under your hair rather than on top, and pull it backwards

Nidhi: For more volume at the root maybe you could try root clipping after using the denman brush? That way the curls might not be disturbed. Just an idea

fashionluvr15: Love the results! Do you use any masks or treatments for your hair?

Aubrey Locke: Omg it turned out so good. I def wanna try the brush with this method!!

Diana Nemoy: Lools amazing on you. I have tried to make the brush work for my wavy curly hair with no luck but I have between shoulder and mid back length hair and really seems like the only people who get good results are those with shorter hair. My longer just doesnt get enough tension and slips through so I basically bought a $30 brush that acts no different than a $5 detangling comb as it just brushes my hair and nothing more. Another hyped product whwe my fomo made me cavs. Se la vie!

Donna K: This looks lovely and like something I could actually do! Did you air dry or diffuse?

Victoria Vega: Excellent. Your hair looks so define an and beautiful!!❤️

Kama Kreynest: Will the Denman brush help me get smaller clumps? I usually get huge curl clumps after I scrunch my hair. When my hair dries, my waves/curls are so undefined.

vozezh: My Denman brush should arrive in 2 days and I'm so exited for it. Its so hard to get clumps and I hope it helps me.

shaddie0711: Nice to see wavy hair try the Denman! Have you tried the BeHairful brush yet???

Jessica Hines: That's cool! I'll have to try it!!

A. Vuckov: Hi there! Which denman brush are you using? The link to Amazon shows several different widths and bristle rows. Thank you!

rosanna acquafredda: Can you talk about your haircut? Or even make a video about which are the best haircut for wavy hair, such as yours. Love your channel ❤

Elin K: I think the reason why your hair in the back looks fizzy, is because you seperate parts when brushing. That parts in the back are then kind of move to the side when being brused, but when bounched back the dont match up you know? You can see that happening when you showed the back of your head after using the brush.

Paula D. Ashton: Looks really great. Clumps are the same as curl families right? I’m still learning.

Claudia L: Have you tried this method but using a diffuser to dry it?

KeyLimeTea: Definitely doing this the next time I go on a date or go out somewhere that isn’t my job (which is daycare LMAO)

Megan Cooper: The Denman brush changed my curly life

Morgan Manning: I'm new to your channel, but I was just wondering if you know your porosity? Mine is low (I also have curlier hair) so I was watching this and wondering! :)

Jess Delaney: Wooow, damn! Love this. We have the same hair type. You're my sherpa.

Ms. O: Yay! My hair is just like yours. Love it! Thanks!

Little Chisu: I have wavy ... curly .. and Hagrid hair o.o I tried everything but I always end up with Hagrid style .. xD (I mean on him it looks fancy xD) I will try out your method ! thank you :3

Brittany Love: It literally smells like cake lol I though their products were too sticky

Brooke: I have really thick curly hair (it’s jawline length) I’m using moose after I get out of the shower, is that a good product to use or should I be using others? My hair is really frizzy when I brush it and Idk what to do with it anymore. If you have any product ideas please let me know!

Kailey Walker: does anyone have any tips for oily wavy/curly hair?

Elyse Parker: I feel like everyone has great results with the denman. Maybe I have the wrong one because it makes my hair look like total garbage.

Alicia Smiles: Can anyone help... I have wavy but curly in some spots hair, which when I scrunch after the shower goes quite curly, however when it dries it goes quite kinky and ratty losing the shape of my curls. Any tips?

Emily Bargy: Do you have any advice or hairstyles for working out? I struggle to find good hairstyles for my curly hair that don’t make it flat after

Jean Santosuosso: Hi. What is the name and color of your lipstick? So pretty and thank you for the hair tutorial.

tvmom: Make a section down the middle and brush forward and then flip back. All your volume will appear.

Jena F: So if you use the Denman brush, do you skip plopping your hair?

Brittany Love: I’m going to try out your technique and give your channel a shout out❤️thank you cute video

Andrea Rosal: I underestimated it but maybe I should try one

Tabitha Daoust: I hope you don’t mind my asking, how often do you wash?

Clara Oubre: I tried this for the first time yesterday and all it did was rip out full clumps of hair (I couldn't even pull the brush through) any tips?

Alicia T: Am i about to spend $30 on a hair brush? Yes. LOL

AEW0416: Beautiful. Nice job.

Jennifer Muñoz: Wow your hair clumped beautifully

Eclectic Eli: I love your nails!

Eythana Miller: Duuuude this is soo pretty wow

Eythana Miller: I feel like it might not but i really wonder if this would work on mine

TheCoolMan101: Did you use a diffuser?

pink nightmares: I hope your toe gets better soon

Kinzey Linn: How many rows are in this brush you used?

izanne: You will get more volume if you diffuse

Read with Chimey: Very nice. Thank you.

Jennifer Marie Rios: i cant get my hair to stop clumping. idk why my hair clumps so much

Beatrice Larsson: You are so beautiful, thanks for the review of the brush.

Isela Gutierrez: Hey girl, what type of haircut do you have here? Is it just like a short blunt cut?

Christine Ramos: My denman always gets stuck in my hair someone haylp plz

Down The Rabbit Hole: You look so much like Hilary duff!

IPLI: You have such nice waves. Mine are ugly and frizzy all the time.

TravelBug: Wow.

N F: Agreed with others this isn’t a tutorial.

Jennifer Muñoz: First
