Thank you for visiting my channel, Elle Florence. I'm a Vancouver based lawyer by day, fashion blogger and business owner by night!

Hello, everyone and welcome back to my channel. So today's video is a hair tool. Comparison, video, i've done one recently where i compared the whole dyson um system, the super expensive one. That'S almost 800 canadian 540 us with the new ghd glide hair brush and those were pretty different tools. I compared them mainly because they were released at similar points in time and both very expensive. So today i'm bringing you a more affordable comparison and i'm comparing two tools that are closer together so both in terms of price point and in terms of function and design as well. So, in my right hand, i have the revlon brush, which is oval shaped um, but it's otherwise a big brush that blows hot air and it does have different settings here at the bottom off cool, low and high, and this has been so recommended by you guys In the comments underneath my dyson video, so many of you either purchased the dyson first and then returned and got this one or just got this one and really recommended it. So i wanted to try it, and then i did a little research and a lot of the comments on amazon said that they had tried the revlon one and this one, and that this one was way better. Um bobby list definitely is a little bit more of like a premium drugstore brand in europe. It'S a little bit harder to find, and this is the nano titanium fabulous pro, so not just the regular one, but the pro one and i'll show you why um? What is special about this one but they're both pretty comparable sizes in terms of barrel um, just slightly different shapes, because this one is round and this one is oval. So i like, in that other video, i'm gon na, do half my head with wine half my head with the other and then let you guys decide giving you my feedback along the way and letting you actually see how i style my hair with it. Just a quick note on products, because i think i didn't really say anything about products in my previous video. I always use this as a styling cream. I will link it down below if you have never tried it, and you have hair type that you feel like is kind of similar to mine like a little bit prone to frizz, um and maybe like with humidity or rain. You might lose your style. It'S so great, it really does make a big difference. Then i use um the good old tresemme really cheap one. As my heat protectant, i find it smooth nicely as well. I just like it. I'Ve used it since high school and then um, sometimes i'll, add a little bit of texturizing spray at the very end, once my hair is dry and styled, or on like a second day to revive it instead of dry shampoo, if it's looking a little bit limp Or i want a more body um, i really do like the orbee dry texturizing spray. If you've never tried it, i do think it is worth the money. So it's time to clip up the hair and get right into it, and you guys i can compare the results. I'M gon na include a little bit of a clip, so you can hear what it actually sounds like. I do think that's an important part of the experience very loud, but it does fit a lot of hair on the barrel, which the dyson definitely does not. So this is an improvement over that. If your hair is naturally straight or less wavy than mine, i feel like you would get an even better result, because it would have less texture to kind of fight against on me. It does a good job. I would even argue it does a better job than the dyson. I have been in the habit of going over my hair when i do it with the revlon, with my ghds just to smooth any little. Can you guys see how there's like a little bit of just waviness and texture left at the back and um the front is pretty sleek but i like to have a little bend under, and so i just kind of do that with my ghds, which isn't actually Really a disc at this hair tool, because when i blow dry my hair at home, i do that as well, because i don't do enough of a good job and i don't like spending that much time or kind of over processing my hair with it with the Hot air, to the point where i get to that state where the hair is all completely smooth, so now i'm going to show you this side, i'm going to spray a little bit more of this just to dampen it, because it's getting a little more dry and I'M going to show you the fabulous one which is pretty cool. It'S got a feature that i had not seen before. This is what it sounds like on: full volume and the cool setting is at the top, so you actually want to go one down. So that's using it just like the revlon one and it feels a little bit hotter against my skin than the other does, and that might just even be from the radiating heat from the metal barrel. So it's just using it normally, but i can also see so then, once it's done this for a while, i put it on hold, so i just go up one with the button and it closed down pretty fast. It feels kind of nice when that happens, and i just wait until i can't feel any heat anymore against my skin and i turn it off and i move on to the next piece. But what you can also do is maintain the length away from your hair. This is how you get a really nice bend under, and just do this and it's a little fiddly for sure, but it works really really well to get that curl under at the end. You just maintain that tension away from your head and make sure that the hair is in the middle of the barrel, and then you get this, which is really the good stuff that you want, because that's how you get that professional salon blow dryer. Look time for the final unclip, so i have to say overall, i'm pretty happy with both hair tools because they took my hair from damp to dry, like i don't feel any dampness around the roots. I think the revlon is faster at drying hair, actually, because it's such a big barrel and it just grows the hair - really well hard to get little wavy bits out because there's not a lot of tension, so you can see. I have like a few. This is pretty hot in here, a few little wavys starting around the pieces. Around my face, um overall, i will probably go over both sides with my ghd, just because i like the smoothness and setting that that creates for my hair, but i feel like on this side the fabulous side. I have a really nice um sort of shape going on at the bottom of my hair and there's less of that kind of little frizziness going on around the root, because i'm able to create a little bit more tension with the brush as well. They'Re, both pretty good prices and something to explore if you're into the whole hair gadget scene as i have been recently so i hope you found this video helpful. Let me know any favorite hair tools of yours that i still may not have tried in the comments down below. I really appreciate your suggestions. Thank you so much for watching, and i will see you in my next installment on style. Bye. You

Welp: Finally, a comprehensive review that actually tells me what I want to know and shows me what I want to see and doesn’t talk too much.

flamingopink9: Nice comparison! I have hair like yours (thickness/frizziness/length) and I recently got a keratin treatment. It has been such a timesaver/hairsaver!! I require just a little heat to get a really smooth style that does not poof out in heat and humidity. Highly recommend! Have an amazing weekend!

Aging Gracefully: Good comparison. I have the Revlon and love it for my length hair, but it was good to see the difference in action. Great video.

Shelley Pope-Keitt: You would get a smoother finish by concentrating more on your roots. You’re just wrapping your hair around the dryer. You have to insert the brush into your roots and then immediately start turning the brush until all of your hair passes over the brush. Hold the the brush put away from your scalp does not help straighten the hair.

Ana Serrano: They both seem fine... I handle to do a lot of hairstyles just with the dryer. I have the Karmin dryer and is incredible!

Mary J Flanagan: Since someone liked my Revlon so much that they gifted it to themselves, I'm considering getting the BabylissPro Hot Brush. I searched for it and am glad your video came up. I actually have very tight, kinky cozily hair. I didn't think this type of product would work on my hair. However, I absolutely loved the way the Revlon one worked. It was awfully loud.

Ms. French Hen: I love the Revlon one & use WOW Dream Coat for humidity. I do no use my hairdryer, round brush or flat iron anymore. I stick with what works !!!

Black_Benz: I have been using my InStyler for years and so far it's still the best and least damaging tool out there. They since came out with a wet hair version.

Helen3691: Your hair looks so soft and healthy when it’s wavy/natural.

Dewi Turpault: Thank you for this comparison video, Elle. Your hair is so lovely! Have a wonderful weekend

Eeney Fay: Conair do a dupe of the babyliss. Works the same. I have the babyliss Big Hair for Europe that I got when I lived in London and the conair here (didn't realize babyliss was sold here). Great product. Made me stop using my curling iron for straightening all together.

Susan C: I have the cheaper babyliss, no rotating brush and only 500w. It just claims to smooth rather than volumise and it is USELESS. So look out for the power. I wish I'd noticed this.

Alyza K.: Excellent comparison, Elle!

Stephanie M: To smooth out the frizz on top I would try and wrap the hair in the other direction as well instead of just from underneath. It's how I blow dry my hair with a round brush: first I position the brush under my hair section, wrap it around and blow dry (I do this twice) then i position the brush above the hair wrap around and blow dry (I do this once). This way I get the bend that I want and there's less frizz. Hope this helps, let me know if it worked with these tools ;)

DecorRater: Elle do you feel the Babyliss one has softer bristles? I have the revlon one and with my thick hair, it seemed to grab better.

Nikitar Music: I had to review this product because of you really wanted to try it for myself !!!

Beverley Roberts: Your hair is similar to mine Elle, I think yours is a little bit thicker than mine. But I struggle a lot with frizz and I live in Spain and we are just coming into the humid climate, so my hair will be permanently fuzzed! Definitely the Babyliss, the ends looked more blow-dryed and polished and the length from your head had more body and no kinks in it, I would definitely go with the babyliss one! Thank you for reviewing, interesting! x

Diana Jean: Elle, I love your hair!!! Do you have layers? How do you describe your cut to a stylist?

84amward: You should review hot rollers next!

Nishata: This video is on time! I have been eyeing the babyliss nano pro 3000. Now I am convinced to purchase it. Thank you.

never mind: You need to use the brushes properly so you don't have to go over your hair with a flat iron.

Kim: Thank you for showing the noise levels of both. That is very helpful to me.

Renee Zay: Aren't you supposed to use it just like a round brush and not like a curling iron? I think you should use it more at the roots then brush your hair around while spinning. ENDS LAST!

Mallika Kamat: Which tool is least damaging but sort of straighten hair, a heated round brush or flat iron?

Aurora: I feel like i’d lose all my hair after a week

Veronika *: You straighten your hair on a daily basis, how do you protect it from heat?

Cierra Kain: youre so pretty and your hair is amazing!

S Paula: Hi Elle! Excellent comparison, what can you say about the weight of both tools? Thanks!!!!

Bety Roque: Thanks a lot!! I was looking for a video just loke this. My "duda in spanish" it was between this two kind of tools... because are differents, and all girls compare similar tools; so, thanks... sorry by my english, I am mexican!

Alicia Looney: I love the cactus t-shirt! Where is it from?

K O: Curious what product you use now that Living Proof has discontinued their prime style extender? Used to be a favorite of mine.

Life is beautiful: John freida hot air brush is great!

Lorena Haro: Have you tried Keratin?

Saimah Hussain: Revlon one has boar hair in bristles....for those it matters

Lisa: Are you not posting videos on a Monday any more Elle? I haven’t seen any update on Insta for both this Monday and last.

kristine425: I have been thinking about purchasing the Revlon, but now I am considering the Babyliss. My hair is similar to yours... does it ever tangle when you are rolling it up? I always love your hair!

OK TERI: Babyliss and Conakry are the same company

Jacquie In Colour:

myra Longoria: thank you

Sumeera Hassan: You are so beautiful

MBOYS FARM:

zeus407: Did she just said bobbyliss?... Sorry i can't respect you after that "bay-bee- liss" not bobby

Hilda Perez: Yes you are using the babybliss all wrong

SquareFaceCat: You’re using it the wrong way

Angela Puga: you don’t know how to use the babyliss one!!! It rotates girl!!

Diana Radu: You are using babyliss wrong!!!!

jeanie york: came over from Mrs. Erica!!!!

Ameer Moavia Heir Barber satailing: Paleez sar Help me I'm barber men saloon and I love professional saloon I skip professional saloon

Always Smile: First like. ♥️

Aurora Garcia: You don’t do it well ‍♀️

yuanna: What's with the phlegmy throat sound.
