Courtney By Jon Renau Wig Review Plus Comparison Of Palm Spring Blonde With Other Popular Shades

Hi guys, i hope you are having a wonderful day today. This is Teresa from Ted's Wig Emporium and for today's episode of Ted's Favorites, I'm reviewing Courtney by Jon Renau, which is definitely one of my all-time favorite styles from this brand.. This is in color, as you probably guessed, it Palm Springs Blonde, So we are going to have a look at this style. First, the cap construction. Then we are going to compare Palm Springs Blonde to some of the very popular blonde colors from various brands that you might be familiar with.. So without further ado, let's have a look at Courtney.. Courtney is definitely one of my favorite styles.. This is my second Courtney. Now I've used to have one in the Rootbeerfloat color, which was again one of my favorite colors by Jon Renau. But when I saw Courtney on the clearance in the Aspire Hair website, i just had to have it. I will link below to their website. They are a really great company. They'Ve got many offers always going on, especially on Jon Renau, so go check them out guys, So Courtney is absolutely beautiful. She has this wonderful layering around your face, framing your face with a very choppy effect.. She does actually remind me of Reed by Amore, which is probably why I love Reed and its style, although this one is a little bit longer. So it's more like a grown-out Reed from the Amore.. Let me guys give you a spin before we even talk about anything else, so this is my right-hand side. You can see those layers flick out at the end. So what we're having here guys is top quality in a wig.. We'Ve got a smart lace front which, on this particular style, is amazing and one of the biggest weaknesses I find with some styles and brands is the finish you find where the lace front joins the cap construction. And if you can probably see that guys, this one (, it's not an extended lace ), but it's very well done so when you are pulling this away from your face, it does look very natural. Just look at how well this lace is done very, very well high-quality lace. We are getting a full mono top, so you can part this hair wherever you like. Let me demonstrate it for you. It looks very natural, I'm actually wearing a wig grip underneath, so you can probably see the wig grip. This hair parts really easily. You can change this parting without any problem flick the hair, wherever you like, on whatever side you choose and it easily parts the fibers feel very soft. They feel like very fine human hair. This is a standard synthetic most of Jon Renau's. Wigs come with a standard synthetic which feels very nice. We have a fully hand-tied cap construction.. I would say it falls on the smaller side of average. I have no loose material at the back. It'S very minimal. There is no permatease, it fits me perfectly. So if you are a petite average size, this wig will be perfect for you. guys. Let me show you the ear tabs again very, very nicely done. You can quite easily do an ear tuck and it doesn't look bulky at all. Let me show you the other side. It is perfect again. You can easily tuck that behind your ear, so this is an absolutely beautiful style. Guys if you haven't tried Courtney, I highly recommend this one.. So, as for the measurements, we are getting a 10 and a half inch bang here framing your face. We are getting 10.75 from the crown, so we are getting lots of layering ( and i will tell you guys why this is also very good on this style. In a moment, ) we are getting sides at 11 inches nape measures, 13 and a half inches, so the length mostly comes from the nape.. Why are those layers so great? Because - and I tell you from experience when I used to have my other Courtney in Rootbeerfloat over time, once the hair gets a bit frizzy once it gets damaged with prolonged wear, you might find the ends getting a bit dry and frazzled. Now with those layers at That particular length you can quite easily trim the bottom layer and you will not lose this beautiful layering here at the top, which will give you a brand new style, but still will have these wonderful flick out bits.. There is also no permatease in on this cap. There is a slightly concentrated area here at the back. This gives me this little bump here, giving a nice looking profile at the side. So again, one of my favorite features This wig weighs 4.3 ounces. So it's a very natural, lighter to medium density, wig she's, not very thick she's, very sleek, as you can see around the sides here. So if you do not like puffiness and permatease Courtney will be your friend. Definitely Now, let's have a look at the cap. Construction.! All right guys, so here we've got this absolutely beautiful, smart lace front, it's not extended, but it's very beautiful. We'Ve got the single mono top here. We'Ve got the hand-tied cap construction. It'S a little bit stretchy here, so you can get a slightly bigger size. So we've got the very soft velcro lined ear tabs. Some of that hair is under knotted around here, which makes it look really natural. We'Ve got an extended nape, which is perfect if you're trying to put this up in a ponytail and we've got the velcro adjusters at the back. As you can see, I haven't got them cinched too much. So it's a really nice comfortable cup for a petite average head. Okay, let's have a look at what Courtney looks like in a ponytail. She is very, very easy to put up she's gorgeous and a ponytail looks very natural. I used to wear this all the time. Just like that she's a very good candidate for a clip because it's a nice hand, tided wig again that looks super cute. I love having those layers around the face. It looks very dressed up. You can also dress her down., For example. She looks so cute with a baseball cap guys because there is no bulk here at the top. A nice baseball cap looks super cute. Don'T you think I love this look. Definitely And again, when you're, taking a hat off, make sure you are holding onto your wig. So it doesn't come off when you're, taking your hat off. Another fun way of wearing Courtney is in two pixies or two ponies. She looks really cute. I wore her just like that all the time and because she's hand-tied, all of those fibers move individually. So you have more styling options. She'S super cute like that right all right guys. So let's talk about Palm Springs Blonde. This is a new color for me. I initially thought it was too bright and I nearly sent this one back. I'M so glad I didn't, because this color is growing on me day by day. Okay, let's start with Palm Springs Blonde code, for that is FS17 101 s18, and it's a very cool mix of light ash. Blonde and cool platinum highlights very chunky highlights, as you can see here as typical fashion syrup by Jon Renau. We can see the light ash blonde base color at the bottom, as well: beautiful, beautiful mix, very cool overall, definitely the coolest. In my collection. We are also getting a dark blonde root which creates a nice gentle transition towards the rest of the mix. Next, up on the list is the Raquel Welch's Shaded Biscuit the shaded biscuit is RL19s 22 ss and it's a beautiful blend of light ash blonde and sandy blonde.. It also comes with a shaded medium brown root. As you can see, it's much more warmer in comparison with Palm Springs. Blonde definitely got like a reddish tone in the mix. Next, one Champagne Rooted by Ellen Wille. This one is a blend of light beige, blonde medium, honey, blonde and platinum blonde. It also comes with a medium brown root.. I would say this is probably the closest color to Palm Springs Blonde. In my collection, you can definitely see very similar tones running through both of those mixes, i would say a very close match. Next up, we've got the Shaded Praline ( 12fs8 ) by Jon Renau. It'S a beautiful blend of light golden brown golden blonde and highlighted with pale gold blonde highlights. We are also getting a dark brown root, which is definitely darker than the Palm Springs Blonde rooting it's much more warmer. Definitely on more of a warm to neutral side. This is on Kendall and finally, we've got Laguna Blonde by Jon Renau code, for that one is fs: 24. 102 S12. This is definitely warmer. The warmest out of all of the Californian blondes. This is a blend of golden blonde light golden brown and highlighted with pale gold blonde highlights.. The root is slightly lighter than 12FS8, but still darker than the Palm Springs Blonde. This color definitely appears much more yellowy in tone. This is definitely warmer than the cool palm springs blonde, And here we've got all of the colors side by side, so you can see what they all look like together. I hope that was helpful guys.
