Diy Unicorn Hair Brush

Hey guys, first sunshine: it's Ashley, I'm going to be showing you today, hi made a cute, simple, unicorn brush, which sounds a little weird. Let me explain it's just a glittery hairbrush which you can buy glittery or glitter yourself, and it's just got a little unicorn horn on the top, like your brush, is a unicorn for all those unicorn lovers in your life. So let's do this. Alright, we're gon na start with a glittery hair brush. You can buy it glittered or glitter it yourself. I got this at Walmart for 3 or 4 dollars. It wasn't much at all and some air dry clay. Again. I got this at Walmart for a couple dollars. It wasn't bad and I got this whole big tub and I didn't use hardly any of it. So first I took off an amount for about the size of the horn. I wanted and I started rolling it out into a long snake. I kind of tried to make a part of it. Thicker then the other path, like half of it is a little thicker. So that way it kind of comes up to a smaller roll. If that makes sense - and then I just kind of spiraled this up into a little unicorn horn, I wanted the top to be a little thinner. So I kind of use the smaller part of the snake for the top of the horn and I kind of just made it into a little point, because unicorns have that little point and I use my finger to smooth out any cracks and rough spots. I check to make sure it's gon na look good on my brush and it does, and so then, I'm gon na kind of smoosh it together. This is so it sits on the top of the brush and isn't just one big wide circle on this tiny little flat piece. So I use my finger to make a little indent for the top of the brush to kind of fit perfectly in and then I'll. Just check to make sure it would fit on the brush snuggly and perfectly the way I want it to, and it sits right snugly around the top little hook thing ledge the top piece of my brush. It fits on there. So once that's done, I'm gon na sit it aside. Let it dry for two to three days with air dry clay. You could use polymer clay too. It wouldn't take as long next. I'M gon na take some white paint just because this is supposed to be white play, but it doesn't look too white to me, so I'm just going to paint it white just because I just imagine that white unicorn horn, and so now this is completely optional part. I'M gon na take a very small brush and some metallic gold paint and I'm just gon na kind of add some little gold details like little gold, like almost like shines like just in random spots around the horn. This is completely optional. You don't have to do this. I just kind of want to add a little bit of gold touch to it once that is dry, you're gon na take our brush and take our horn and take some superglue. Yes, I was holding it upside down. My bad, I'm just gon na put some super glue. All over a hot glue gun will not hold this clay. Let me warn you that was my first try, so super glue or a6000 would probably be the best. I just didn't have any on hand, I propped it up with something I had laying around the house until it dried and then there you go. You have a beautiful, unicorn brush. Hope you liked this video.
