Hi, and welcome to my channel! I am a Beauty Addict and love to create how-to beauty tutorials for short hair and hairstyles, makeup, and lifestyle in general. I try to make my videos informative, creative and most importantly entertaining. Sometimes it may be dry humor. I warned you.

I love interacting with my viewers. Let's get to know each other.

Love, Milabu #milabu

Would you try to make waffles with it? Yes, it's really cool, looks like teeth. Yeah, that's volume, I'm so excited for today's video. I am reviewing a really cool hair, styling tool of a loom. This is pretty much a hair, volumizing flat iron or a hair straightener. That gives you a lot of volume. It is so cool. So many of you reached out to me and asked me to review this product. It is not cheap. I believe it was like 129 on Amazon, so it's over $ 100. So this is definitely an investment product. I mean the pictures. They pretty much sell the product, it's really cool, they have some really cool before and after pictures. So I also wanted to do a cool before and after shot see. If we get anything, my hair is feeling a little bit lifeless right. Now, it's a little bit limp after the gym. I blow dried my hair to get rid of the sweat, because I told you guys many times I don't wash my hair every single day. I rely on dry shampoo and my hair dryer, so this is looking really good. This is the fourth day hair. It feels good, but it needs a little bit more volume. This, hopefully, will give that this was on. The very top little booklets says: stop. Thank you for purchasing your new award-winning yeahit's award-winning brakes their volumizing iron voloom. Before you begin, please note: voloom is not like a curling iron or crimper, so it has the lock and unlock. So you unlock it and you get this now. It looks like a waffle maker. Alright, let's turn this on. So you have the on and off button right here and then you have the temperature controller on the side right next to it as well, plus and minus yeah. Look at that! That'S nice! So, let's start at 300 like they said it actually counts down to when it heats up or counts up. That'S cool! That'S really! Neat! That'S good technology! So far, yeah that's really cool and you also get three clips for your hair. You actually get a teasing comb. Also and that beautiful or red color hey what else do you get ruthless and to travel with? So you don't burn everything in your traveling suitcase? Alright, let's do this. Let'S try it out. Is it heated? It is heated, that's fast, so I'm just quickly reading the directions or what they recommend to do to get the best results. So what they say is the very top layer of your hair. So basically you just clamp it away and the front sections of your hair. You just want to leave it untreated as what they call it, and then you start with the layers underneath this top layer of hair, which is actually really great and smart, and they also recommend not to squeeze it and hold it for as long as you can Just clamp and let go clamp and let go on a section of hair. So obviously you want to make sure you have your part in line set and then begin this. So I'm gon na keep my hair in the middle. So I'm just gon na take some hair, just use a hair clip and bring it to the other side. Let'S start with some of this hair right here. Alright, let's try this. So you see it does create a sort of a crimping effect, but it's actually pretty subtle. Some only doing three clamps, because I don't want to go all the way down all right, so it's actually really easy clam old and I'm barely squeezing it. So it was just kind of doing the job for me: okay, adding some volume - that's actually really good. I like that Wow all right to bring this section back over hi there hi that little crimp I mean yeah. You can already see more obviously look at that by taking smaller sections or smaller layers and adding a little bit more you'll get a lot more volume. Obviously Wow, not bad. That'S not bad at all the way. So, if you need like instant volume, that's great! That'S really cool and I'm not taking the hair, that's also closest to my face. I don't want that effect, so I am barely I'm not even squeezing I just clamp hold clamp, hold clamp hold. Obviously, if you have longer hair, you can go much longer than I am, but I'm not going as far as the bottom of my hair. Just because I don't want that effect down. There clamp. What do you think of this Wow yeah? It'S look yeah and get over the waffle maker. Look. I mean I've never been into crimpers, so I'm not 100 % sold on this. I personally wouldn't do this every single day. Waffle. True true that, but I mean it is really neat, especially if you need a lot of volume at the top of your head for an updo of some sort. So that's a really great. Instead of using a crimper, this seems like it's a little bit safer for your hair. It is adding a good amount of volume and I do have a set only at 300 Fahrenheit yeah, that's volume, but I do see the little crimping effect in between. But it's not horrible! Where you look, you know crazy. I'M gon na do the back quickly. Please finish this off. This is actually very quick. I'M surprised how quick this is all right. So this is what the hair looks like without teasing or anything like that. I didn't brush it out. I just left it as it is. Let'S see what it looks like. It'S definitely a lot of volume right here, but not so much at the very top of my head, just because it is parted in the middle. It definitely would have a lot more volume if I did part it on the side. That would definitely look incredible, but I would not leave in just like this because there's a little too much happening on the side of my head. It'S making my head look big. I'M gon na take the teasing comb and tease it a little bit with the hair that we didn't crimp or voloom, because this is not a crimper better, but I just personally don't like teasing in my hair. If I don't have to, I want to mention this product right here. It doesn't get extremely close to roots, but it gets close enough to where you get that volume, which is great if you do want that. So overall, my thoughts, I think this product does work. It does create volume, you can see it for yourself. It speaks for itself. I think it's really great for me personally, I don't need this product in my life, I'm definitely not gon na keep reaching for it, because the type of hair that I have it's a very fine and thin, but I do have a lot of it. So I don't really need the extra volume. I have my other methods that work very well for me in my hair, but I think this product would be incredible for those that have really fine thin hair and not a lot of it and just waist down. And it's lifeless and you want that volume perfect for you or if you have very long and heavy hair, that you just can't get volume whatsoever. I think this would be really good for you as well. I mean the reviews on this. Product is amazing, and so many of them say they have really long heavy hair, and this isn't godsend, and I mean it creates volume, it's great, it's a great product, it works so there we have it for this review. Let me know what other products you guys want me to test out. Thank you for watching. I love you all very much and I'll see you in the next video bye.

Ann Harkey: This is awesome! Thank you for trying this out for us! Your hair is always beautiful. The bedhead little tease crimper gives a similar effect and is only $30 for anyone looking for a "dupe". It is also smaller so it is easer to get right at the root.

Courtney B: Since you asked, I'd love to see a video about the Inverse hair conditioning system. It looks like a straightener, but it doesn't straighten and you actually put it in the freezer instead of using heat. It's supposed to reduce frizz and strengthen hair over time, improving it more with each use. It's a product I've been curious about ever since it came out (maybe two years ago??), but there aren't really many reviews that I can find and not a whole lot of info in general, for that matter. It'd be cool to learn more fron someone whose opinions I'd actually trust.

De Anna: My hair is very fine and straight. And it's just so flat! On days where I don't "heat-less" curl it, the Voloom really helps fluff it up. It's definately worth it. And heat damage I may be causing is only on the under layers where it's not visible.

Anni Allerlei: 4th day hair??? Girl you look amazing I would love to see a colorful Makeuptutorial with your techniques

bugstomper123: I think this would be really great for an updo where you want a lot of volume, but don't have enough hair. Then you wouldn't have to worry about the crimping lines so much if the wind blows your hair about.

Megan P: How long did it last? Did it look as good later as it did at first? I started watching your videos because you and I have almost the exact same texture and thickness in our hair so I rely heavily on your opinion of a product. Volume is almost always an issue and I can usually achieve it at first, but later...whew! Not so much. So an update on how it held up would be awesome.

Kit: Also Babyliss pro crimper has the same effect but much more subtle in that the crimp is hidden more than this & is £18 in Tesco (uk)

11:11: I love big hair but can get same results by back combing. I like that you do these reviews tho! I'm always looking for new tools/accesories that will make my hair look cool without spending an hour to do so. BTW, I love your channel!

Love You More: Girl, send it my way if you don't need it! I've been crimping my hair for volume and texture for about 16 years. I've been wanting to try the voloom for a couple years now.

Denise Corcoran: I bought the 'Valoom' over 2 yrs ago and watched too many videos to try and help hide the 'waffling' you are the first to show or mention doing the back of your hair/ crown....thank you. Gave it another go today and it turned out, actually, good...thank you and thank you for doing/showing the back of your hair.

Julie Colleran: Great concept, BUT, I wouldn’t want to have my hair “waffled” underneath! If your hair blows around then you are going to see the waffle marks. At least with a light backcoming, your hair is still smooth. That is just my own opinion though. Thanks for reviewing!

Jagoda Z.: "Fourth day hair"?! My hair doesn't look that good on the first day! On the fourth, I would have to wear a paper bag on my head. The world is so unfair :D

Anna Strother: I LOVE your videos!!! My hair was very short a few years ago and I wish I would have been able to see your videos then!!

Barbara Jenkins: I just stumbled on to your channel. Great videos!! You are a pleasure to watch and a great teacher. My question is: Why are there no nail videos?!! Your nails are so beautiful! I would love to see a tutorial on how you do your nails!! ❤

Alondra Garcia: I’ve always had tons of volume every time I curl or straighten my hair, I’ve hated it. I’d go over it again and again to get it as flat As I could. Never knew volume was good lol

Its Zee Time: I love your channel! You are so authentic. I should try this out on my hair

Pamela Martin: Thank you for being down to earth and unpretentious. Very refreshing!

dove145: I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!! Always get so excited when I see you’ve uploaded!! ✨

N. Ramirez: For me, it's just easier to blow dry my hair upside down, then flip it over and tame it down. Love ur videos!

Katja Bre: Im in Love with Sam Villa Micro Hair crimper. Braids will never be the same Volume, Texture, Dimension

Meghann E.: Could you do a review on curling irons? I’m constantly searching for the perfect one! Thanks! ☺️

Lori O'Neil: Love your hair color! Do you highlight platinum and use toner shampoo? I use AG Sterling Silver, but I also bought Perlabeige on Amazon and I think I prefer it over AG. Although when i ordered I ordered shampoo and conditioner but Instead they sent 2 shampoos:(

Priscilla DeJesus: i love your videos and hair styles because i have recently cut my hair and couldn't figure out how to keep my hair styles looking nice and thanks to you it does!!! <

Kefir Heals: I like that you let the crown of your hair grow out. It showed me that you can still manage to style it without the shorter layer in the crown. Since I'm just now getting ready to go get my hair cut. I grabbed a clip (pic) of you and am taking it to the salon and telling my hairdresser to cut my hair like yours. And since I don't process, color, bleach or anything, I think the Voloom might be good for me. My neighbor has more your type hair, she highlights often and she has no problem getting volume on her processed hair. Me - not so much. Virgin hair needs help getting "lift". I might be trying out that volumizer. Thanks for the review.

Aline Marques: coloca legenda em português por favor

Krys Elizabeth: That product is AWESOME! If you part off more of the crown you wouldn’t see the crimping at all.

veryANNEusual: Thanks for your useful tips!

FoxyStealth: Very helpful video!!! I've never heard of this!!! Question- Is the waffle crimp the same size on any size Voloom, it's just the plates that are wider/have more waffles? I want a small waffle crimp but I have very long hair. THANKS!

Kit: Lil tip, just do one crimp clamp at the roots

Jeza B: Hello my lovely! I’d love to see you try out and then review a straightener and curler like MHD 2 in 1. I’m thinking of getting one, but I’ve found that appliances that try to do more than one thing don’t do anything well. Thanks so much! I just love watching your videos. Your funny and sweet, two of the best things in life, other than chocolate!

Casey Rozehnal: Great video, babe!! Can you do a video on how to get crazy volume like this without the gadget? Also. I'm trying to grow out a janky haircut. Do you have any product suggestions to help grow hair out? Thanks for being so wisdomous and wonderful!!

Shanny Frisbie: you should tease in single passes instead of back and forth. its better for the hair and doesn't cause damage.

Margaret Fite: Hi, can you tell me what you are setting the hair iron on when you put it down while you section your hair? In other words, is it so hot on the outside that you have to be careful where you set it?

Vern Andrews: That’s pretty cool !! I would use that on the non shampoo days for sure!!

Emma Wakley: Could you do a comparison with a crimper please x

Rey McL: Could you do your go to hairstyles (I never have time to do these complicated styles in the morning)

Jimena Prieto: Me encantaría que pusieras subtitulo en español por favor..!

misty00johnson: I love your vids I watch them all the time! Your so pretty!

RchiwawasAndCats: I just got one on eBay for $80. It was used once & wasn’t for her. It had no signs of being used & I cleaned it good. I have tried all kinds of products for volume & root lift. They all weigh my hair down. My hair is super fine & thin. I’ve only used this once & got several compliments at work. It’s expensive, especially brand new, but compared to money I’ve spend trying products that don’t work. I recommend this. The only way I’ve gotten volume before is using caruso steam rollers but that’s so time consuming. The voloom took less than 5 minutes & I was out the door. I seem to have more self confidence & in a better mood when my hair looks good so it’s worth the money to me.

LeeAnna B: Loved it!

Tammy Smolenaars: I have enough trouble taming the volume i have let alone adding more lol i absolutley love you makeup in this video! Any chance if a tutorial?

Judi Goldfarb: Don’t think it’s for my hair but yours looks good

Gloria Qiu: Is it better than the revlon one you just reviewed?

D. Hotal: Your first section needs to be a little thicker to hide the crimped sections

20ilovemusik: I want that “waffle maker”

serine ben: I love how you présent and try new thing you always keep it fun and simple sooooo cute iam in love not in a wierd way though

Kemly Busby: How do you get volume without using this product?

Sarah Thompson: You should test out the Tyme curling iron. I’ve been wanting one for over 2 years now but it’s pricey and want to make sure it’s worth the investment. Love your channel and you!!

Hanaé: The nails are poppin AND matching the lips

JERIKA29: Gorgeous like always ;-) Nice job whit the VOLOOM, XOXO FROM Michoacán México

4nypiu 73 merAa: nice! love your hair , love your videos

Yvonne Williams: I love the pinkish lipstick. Makes your blue eyes pop!

Diana Snow: I rocked this look in '91!

BodaciousBeverly: I would be a lot more interested if it were half that price. I do have fine, thin hair, and I use a lot of product for body.

cate499: I like that hair appliance. It does a good job of giving more body

Sandra Hammons: I’m wondering if you can’t get the same effect with a crimper? I have an appliance that is made for technique but it’s a crimper. I found it while watching a YouTube video years ago.

Антонина Скорятина: This volume suites you!!

Ms Megan: And you did it! You made the waffles with it!

Chiquita: Well, I don't think this product is for me. My hair is naturally curled, thick and have a LOT hair, so when I wash it every week I blow dry and iron it with my BioIonic 10x, which is the best to make it flat..! I don't need this but thanks for the review. Keep on goin'..!

Nigora Islambekova: Hi Milabu, thanks for informative review. I’m thinking to buy hair straightening brush, but can’t decide which one to buy and if it does work as good as iron. It would be great if you could help with that. Thanks

Lisa N: I don't really like the messy crimping effect that I can still see peeping out even after teasing.

Bethany F: Your husbands comments are so adorable in every video! He loves and supports you! :)

Veronika Bublakova: My hair after washing doesn't look as good as yours on the 4th day how is it possible?? love your channel and you wish you where here to make my hair everyday

Sofia Karlsson: Have you made something new with your eyebrows? They look so much fuller and more visible

Rebekah Haas: I know you say "parting line" but I always hear "party line" and want to go line dancing.

DIY Tutorial Craft Handmade Jewelry Fashion: Wow! Super volume!!! Awesome hair!

Vernica Sheridan: Thanks for another review. Can you make a review for glamplam straightener? Thank u

amandine orsi: Je suis d'origines française est j'adore toute t'es vidéo

Aveline Joni Laurente: OMG try doing ToniandGuy Waver I really would love it

Claudia: This only works if you have enough hair to hide the waves...and these people actually need the volume

Hannah P Terrill: Love your nail color

Mariki Pretorius: Hi there. I watch your Chanel all the time and love it. Could you possibly review the BaByliss Curl Secret Ionic? If you could I'd REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!

Valentin Goncharenko: And now I’m making waffles. Thanks Milabu

Momsterkiggy Mombiefi: Is there a video or a video you can make wear you air dry your hair after a shower & wake up without doing your hair or just a few adjustments to it ? I get out of the shower at night everyday & just brush & do like using heat on my hair & any tips for girls with blunt bangs ?

Dorota Śliwowska: It's Good for me! love You Milana

Stefanie Preston: Milana I love your channel and have bought many products you have recommended including your own comb and clear elastics from your site ( I am waiting for delivery). I have severe arthritis despite being young but love styling my hair but many products are too heavy for me to hold for long periods. Could you recommend any styling tools you use that are light weight and perhaps do the job faster, perhaps a vlog. I love curls and volume many curling irons aren't too heavy but any suggestions would be appreciated I really struggle with hair dryers. I have been told the Dyson is light and does the job in half the time but I cannot afford this so do you know of any dupes that do the same job. Again love the channel I have recommended you to many of my girlfriend's I think your honest and trust your opinion. Xx

cha ram: i heard the performance of this product doesn’t last though

Norma R. Sanchez: I. Need it in my life lol can u do a review on the split ender pro ???

Holly Broussard: I really want my hair color like yours. Instructions please

Anna Gardner: Try ordinary crimpers?

Sada የሴቶች ሚና: Thank you

gabby bove: Oh I've seen people do this but with a very small crimper, it does give volume but i generally don't think it looks good lmao

Jeanne Robert: Oooh! I literally just saw this in a Facebook ad. I was curious!

Maria Karanikola: Είσαι κούκλα!!

Gabrielle Meyer: Love your channel

not important: you could just crimp it and then put the hair over it and save money

Elvis fan girl: Very expensive tho

Azhaneè Hawkes: I watch all your videosI love youuuuu

na li: I would start from the bottom of my head and work my way up.

Jimena Prieto: Eres hermosa...!♡

Lugui Dubiela: All I see is it making you hair really crispy and frizzy, I really do not like the result, LOL But it does work. Lots of volume. Not in a pretty way, though

Kelly Cabrera: Love your hair color

Sakima Chowdhury: Has anyone ever told you how beautiful your eyes are?

Mayfly: in Austria it costs 370 dollars..... that's too much for this product....

Gisels Qui: Love u milabu❤️❤️❤️❤️

DIY Tutorial Craft Handmade Jewelry Fashion: Oh, and nice hair colour, by the way....

Aim Dizon: Just subscribed.
