Everybody left to the megachurch today. I want to show you how I styled my hair. A lot of you wanted a demonstration video, so just keep watching so a little off-center, because I want to show you how I use this. I'M going to be doing a lot of this, so I'm slightly lower than normal. So I do apologize if it looks a little bit strange, I've already kind of washed, my hair and stuff in the shower. It'S damp. It'S not soaking wet. It'S not wet it's damp and a lot of it is actually kind of drying. Already I've already put in my styling products. I have used first of all, my heat defense, which is the Tresemme heat defense smooth, and I also have my products for adding body. So I have my 24 hour body, blow-dry lotion, I'll click this and it's just a really simple spray in the hair, and then this is the 24 hour root, boosting spray, and this basically, you lift you spray right at the roots, rub it in, and you just Kind of lift right at the roots, because my hair is very flat and just because my hair was lacking a little bit of smoothness. I decided to use the 3 days straight from from John Frieda or yeah John Frieda, and he he has these kind of frizz ease kind of products which I love this one's one of my favorites 3 days straight. It goes on really smooth. It conditions your hair, you put it on damp hair and you blow-dry it and you straighten. It protects the hair leaves it really really super soft. If you have curly hair, I'm wavy hair and you find it really hard to straighten it. Try using that. So let us take, my Bible is fake hair and because it's going to be on, I'm probably gon na have some kind of subtitles or something coming up telling you if I say anything just in case you miss it, it's really really easy to use. It has two buttons here. One goes one way: one goes the other, and that's so. If you're doing this side, you kind of hold this one here and if you're doing the other side you're going to hold that button there. It also has the cool setting, which i think is kind of ridiculous, because it doesn't do anything on a cool setting other than just blow out cool air, and it doesn't really do anything. They also have a kind of medium setting and a high setting medium setting is a medium heat and a medium speed, and then the high setting is high speed and high heat. So I tried to keep it as low as possible. So I section off my hair into two sections. I want to have a top and a bottom: don't have to do this totally optional, but I just like to do it going to give it a quick brush through using this type of detangler, which is actually used for wet hair. Now you can buy these for like 150 in pennies, so the really expensive ones can go up to about 15 euro to 20 euro, so don't buy the really expensive ones. These work really nice in its nice little heart shape slots in like this, and you just comb through your hair just prevents too much breaking now, I'm going to section my hair into three sections. So it's going to be this side section here, there's going to be a back section which you guys can't see and then there's going to be another side section, because what I don't want to do is to take this hair at the back round to the front, Because I want to get a kind of weird shape at the back of my head, so that's noted, so what I tend to do is, I tend to put it in mid section: allow the brush to rotate around while I bring it down and then I'm going To rotate it all the way up, all the time the brush is going to be spinning and then once I get up to the top, I'm going to leave it there for a few seconds just to allow the heat to kind of get to the root of It and it's going to lift it and give it a little bit more volume and bounce when I'm pulling it out. I actually don't have the brush rotating. I stopped pressing the button and then I can just pull it through so that you don't end up kind of detangling it or tangling it up. I mean, and so you just have a nice smoothness so once you brought it up to the top. Just take your hand off the button and just let it fall down again, but what you don't want to do is just keep rotating and rotating it, because you can get your hair tangled in it now, depending on the way that you rotate. The brush is going to depend on the way that the hair falls so because I've been rotating it inwards. The hair is going to fall like it's being flipped in this way, if you want to have the other way, you can just flick. It outwards by rotating up this way, so it kind of depends on the way you do it. So I'm going to switch hands, I'm going to go the opposite way by pressing the opposite button. So it's rotating in again. So I want to get the same shape on both sides and you can go underneath here and rotate it that way. But you will get a slightly different kind of style, so I tend to switch hands and it's very easy to switch hands because you don't have to have any kind of you know, left hand right, hand, preference or anything. It does work for both hands. So now I have these two sections done: I'm going to move on to the back one when I'm doing the back one, I'm going to pull the hair straight out, rotate it and bring it right up to the root, just the same way that I did it On each side, so now I'm going on to my favorite bit, which is doing the top section. I do use it on the bottom section by don't like it as much. I find that my styling is a lot better in the top sections, because the hair is shorter and it's a little bit easier to style. So I'm going to brush through my hair again and I usually do some kind of a parting. So when do exactly the same thing as I did with the underneath parts going to bring it all the way up, I'm going to leave it there for a few seconds and then bring it back down again. I just do this continuously until the hair is pretty much dry, but after one goal it usually is dry and you only leave it there for about 30 seconds, if that, maybe even 10 to 15 seconds. I'D like to usually lift it right up here, so that the roots are really kind of volumize and brought up to be kind of bouncy, so that when it falls, it's still got a little bit of lift in it. So I want to add a little bit more volume to the back of my hair. I have a very kind of prominent long kind of crease line and in between, so I usually do is make sure that I bring the hair up like this and all the way back, so that I kind of cut it a little bit shorter and add some Volume to the back of the hair, so what I want to do sound, I want to my bangs, which are this whole section here. I have a very annoying kind of bang kind of thing going on. Sometimes they'll are the way I want them to be. Sometimes they don't, I tend to just have to keep working with them to get the kind of look, that's half decent, because it's just very annoying, so I'm kind of going to go in one direction, then the other then the other, then the back or forth, like This until I get the volume that I wanted the roots and also to see which way they're going to fall now, if you had a full fringe, this is awesome. Whole fringes, because all you do is rotate it up, bring it all the way down. So sheave quite thick heavy kind of fringe and it never really sits properly. If you use a hairdryer, this really does work on those kind of things, but I really love it for bangs and pretty much everybody, but my own bangs, because my own bangs are very annoying and I have this kind of cowlick here and it's just very doing So we're just going to start working on them. You might have them falling slightly to this side. For now, the most important thing is, whenever you use heat on your hair, if you like the style that the heat has given, you don't touch it because if I start messing with us now, I'm going to put it into a position that I don't want it To be, I want it to go slightly like this, so I'm going to leave it until it kind of goes a little bit cooler and then I can start kind of moving and messing with it a little bit. So I'm just going to leave that for now. So that's everything, I've just added a little bit of hairspray obviously did my makeup, but I really hope you enjoyed this video have any questions. Let me know I'm SHINee Kitty and thank you for watching.

cleo715: Thanks for the tutorial! I *just* got this tool and I can't wait to try it. Your hair looks great, very bouncy and voluminous! Oh, BTW: You look just like Carey Mulligan. Keep posting your vids :D

Brittany Holderfield: The cool button is to seal the cuticle, just wanted to let you know :) That's also what the cool button is for on blow dryers.

Tearoze191: I have this brush and it work wonders to my hair. Makes it so bouncy and shiny! :D

Tiffany Rachel: Just a thought, when you mention the cool air doesn't do anything, actually what hairdresser do is when they use a lot of heat on hair, what the cooling does is it SETS the hair at the shape and texture it is when the heat was applied. Think of it this way: If you curl your hair with a curling iron, it takes heat to apply that shape to the curl, if it's still hot when you let it go, it may wilt if you do not apply cool air to set it.

Sara Terrell: Your hair looks lovely. Thank you for showing us how to use that tool! :-)

Teddy Burr: You NEED the COLD SHOT setting!! When the hair is rolled up in the brush to the root using a hot setting, keep the brush in the hair and switch to the COLD setting for about 15 seconds. Switch OFF before you unroll the brush. This method gives a smoother finish, gives more body, and holds the style.

Jenny: A cool setting sets hair. Once the tool has heated up the section its working on use the cool setting and when the hair cools it stays in the positioning. Which if you think about it makes perfect sense, we heat it up to make it move the way we want it to, then cool it to make it stay in place.

carla1803: Your hair does look really nice.. For some reason, I always end up buying most of the products you review lol but I can tell u that I definitely trust your opinion... I'm off to buy the babyliss brush now! :-) thank you for the video

Sarah Pitman: I'm thinking of buying one of these and I'd really like to know a few things: Does it work well with shoulder-length hair? And how good is it for straightening?

feminista29: i've always been curious about these, but never thought to look for demos on you tube for some strange reason. glad i'm a subscriber! thanks for a great demo and all the helpful tips and info. ;D

Koko Z: This is the best "big hair" review I have ever watched and btw you are very pretty :)

Kayleigh Berry: Man, your hair is so healthy and shiney. I'm jealous. :(

Caro Romero: That air brush looks amazing, where did you bought it? great video btw

Minerva E: LOVE IT, i have one of those and didnt know how to use it propertly.. soo thank you for your help.. <3

Farkhanda bint mohammad Al Abbasi: the cool setting is to set the curls on cool. just to keep the curls long lasting. just like when we do curls with curling iron and we pin them up to keep the cool and once they are cool they stay longer.

Joanna Kelly: Thank u so much fir introducing this to us ! U feel are an honest guru. And u Sud be proud if urself !

K_Poppin_No_Stoppin: Omg this video is a life saver!!! I want that Hot air brush so bad!!!Thanks soo much for sharing!!!

sbgitana1: Love it I have the US version... fantastic

Serendipity98: the cool setting is just for after you finish styling it to make it keep shape longer

Mayumi: Cold air is meant to set your curl it really helps so no need for it to spin. Just an fyi :)

nk1: hi! May i ask: is this the 50mm barrel or the 42mm? I'm worried that the 50mm is too big. I have fine hair, at my shoulders with layers.

beverly90210beverly: Ohhhhh I should dedicate you a monument!!!! Love this video and you are so pretty and sweet!! x

hippyheads: that is what the cold setting is for, once you find the style that you like as you said at the end of your video you use the cold setting to set it. they don't put a cold setting on for no reason,

OxanaVs: I have the same type of air brush only by Rowenta and it pulls my hair out :( The brush is always covered with my hair swirled around it. Did you have that problem?

dhodi123: Do you still use this? did it break? how is it holding up?

mczg: You mentioned that there was a cooling setting and you looked puzzled with it...At the end you mentioned not touching your bangs & waiting for them to cool... That is where that cooling switch comes in handy.;o)

goldwaves: do you think this would work well with curly hair? I use a flat iron iron and that makes my hair very flat straight.

vinmina5: just brought my from boots i suffer with arthrites and find it very hard to do my hair this is big life saver for mei cant keep going haveing my hair blowed dryed his is fantastic love it

kaliontherocks: So, you put the heat defence first and then the volume products, or backwards?? *LOVE* your channel, Sinead!! You're the sweetest :)

TheMakeupChair: @iammicahdiaz Out of all the things that I have tried the biggest difference is heat defence, allow the hair to have a day off and dry it naturally and SOYA milk, soya milk is awesome my hair has really grown and its much healthier now.

Ana Coman: do you think it might work for long thick curly hair? i am not sure wether to purchase it or not...

Joanna Kelly: Oh my god sinead I went out and it and oh my god it's brill , was a bit sceptical at first saying il never be able to use it , it's just like a hair dryer , nah , but then I seem it in boots and was saying if I don't like it I can always bring it back maybe , so I tried it and oh my god i have salon hair without going the hairdressers , have been looking for one of these for years , something like a hair dryer that I can use ! My hair looked and felt so healthy !

TheMakeupChair: @Rockey51O Awesome! That is so cool! Always nice to hear stuff like that!

sarah c: hey if u use the Babyliss "Big Hair'' for your bangs dry it the opp way than you want them and just before they cool down pull them to the side you want them and i promise they will stay.

TheMakeupChair: @carla1803 That is so sweet!! :) Let me know how you like it :)

TheMakeupChair: @beanysweets I use a volume shampoo by Tressume Try the John Frieda sprays :)

wittykitty5977: I did what you said and my hair always gets tangled what do I do?

TheMakeupChair: @elliottsterling yeah but it doesn't rotate on the cold setting I would use it if it did because obviously it would make a huge difference to the hair.

minjia89: fabulous video :)

TheMakeupChair: @dblyrt2597 I think it would help yeah to cut down on the work so you might just get a little bit of a difference and if it doesn't work just sell it on Ebay :)

Blanca: I want this!!!!

MegaCorey07: i love your hair what exactly is the name of that styling brush please ?

123AmyH123: What Shampoo and Condtioner do u use? :-)

TheMakeupChair: @Katastrophic40741 Yeah but it doesn't spin on the cool setting so that is what I meant by a waste :) You can't use it.

TheMakeupChair: @96theweirdone I did this the day before I dyed it. :)

Amera't Khayalah: can it straighten my super curly hair ?? please answer

Elizabeth Hannigan: Very cool!

TheMakeupChair: @theanimallover0013 No the brush is soft and smooth.

Claire A: great vid :)

redhia: cant stop staring at ur face rather than ur hair. u r pretty so :D

TheMakeupChair: @bwitty0114 Yeah but it doesn't spin so you can't use it to seal the cuticle that's what I meant by being pointless!

sunlightwomen: do it works for curly frizzy hair too ??? dont believe .

Momocita G.: awwww hun what would you do if you had hair like mine... :(

Joanna Kelly: No prob !!!

Daniliz81: my only issue is that I can never dry my roots completely when using a rotating brush and as a result my hair gets all puffy and awful :S it actually takes a me a while to completely dry the roots of my hair with this kind of brushes.

TheMakeupChair: Try smaller sections.

TheMakeupChair: @Rockey51O Aw thank you :)
