Ribbon Lengths For Different Size Boutique Hair Bows

Welcome to bitty bum dirty TV. Today'S video is a tutorial on how long to cut ribbon to make different size bows. I'Ve had quite a few people. Ask me on my other videos how long they should cut ribbon for like the baby bows or the toddler bows. So today, I'm gon na share that with you, I have four main sizes of bows. We have our baby hair, bow toddler, hair, bow little girl, hair, bow and big girl, hair bow. You make them all. Basically the same technique. I have posted the big girl, hair, bow tutorial and a little girl hair tutorial, but I will post the other two sizes in the future. So we'll start with the baby hair bow, which measures a little more than two inches but right around two inches when you're done completing your bow and you are going to cut your baby ribbon, which is your three-eighths inch ribbon. You'Re gon na cut this to 14 inches, so baby hair bow three-eighths ribbon cut to 14 inches. Next is our toddler hair bow, which measures about two and a half inches when it's completed, and that is, we use the 5/8 width ribbon and you're going to cut that to 18 inches. So our toddler is 5/8 inch, 5/8 inch wide ribbon and we cut it to 18 inches. Next is our little girl size and this bow measures 3 inches when it is completed and we use our 7/8 inch wide ribbon and we're going to cut that to 22 inches. So little girl is 7/8 eighths inch wide ribbon and we cut that to 22 inches and last is our big girl, hair bow, which is our widest ribbon, which is one and a half inches wide, and we cut that to 29 inches. So our big girl, hair bow one and a half inch wide ribbon cut to 29 inches. There is one more size that I do offer on my site, but I don't make a whole lot of them and that's the the extra-wide ribbon, which is two and a quarter inches wide, and when I do make those bows, I cut that 36 inches one yard.
