Today, surely is going to show you how to use bottle caps to accent hair bows here at the ribbon retreat we have everything you need to. Let your imagination run wild with bottle caps. Are you into saving money well check out our daily deals and weekly specials? We would also love to have you subscribe to. Our YouTube channel have a great day. First, step is to take the bottle cap images and then using our circle. Punch cut one out and the remover treat calm carries a lot of different ball cap images that are perfect for both. So I'm going to do this bu one right here, just place it in Center, it out, okay, and that is done, and then now what we're gon na do is peel off one of these epoxy dot, stickers and place it over our image and be very careful To not touch the sticky side of this sticker, or else it will have your thumbprint on it, and then you can just place it very carefully on your. You can see how awesome that makes that look and then once it's on you're gon na have to smooth out the bubbles, and so you can take something hard to do that. You usually use my my scissors since they're always biting and then you're done and then, if you don't have a one inch hole punch, you can place the epoxy dot over your image and then use scissors and just cut around the epoxy dot. And that is a great way to do that. But if you have a one inch hole punch that will be a little bit faster, okay, now use superglue or a six thousand or whatever strong type of glue that you use. We'Re gon na glue our image inside the bottle cap or on top of the bottle, bottle cap, and so do this one and I'm going to use super glue and I'm just putting a dab of super glue onto my bottle cap and then placing the image with The epoxy dot on it right on the center and then this one we're gon na place on the inside okay and then just let them dry and make sure that they're secure and then they'll be ready to attach to the bow. So the first way I'm going to show you is using a button or something similar on the inside of the bottle cap. So you're going to turn that over and then taking your strong glue and put that and set the bottle cap and then take your button and place that inside and then, of course, let that dry. Now, once your button has dried and it's secured inside the bottle cap, it's ready to be attached to the bow, and so just take your bow and then place a little bit of glue in the center and then take your bottle cap and make sure that the Image is facing the right way and place it in the center of your bow. If you don't have a button - and you just want to stick with using ribbon, cut a 3/8 inch piece of ribbon to 5 inches and then cut another piece just under an inch and make sure to steel. Your ends so we're gon na take our super glue. Part your strong glue and then make sure to look at your bottle cap and we're gon na we're going to be putting this three-eighths inch ribbon vertically along the image. So make sure that you're doing it the right way and place two dabs of glue and then take your ear ribbon and you're going to place it. I'M gon na turn right around just to make sure I got it right in the middle right there and then again just let that let that dry for a little bit once that's dried, we're gon na place another two dabs of glue all right along there and Then take your small piece of ribbon and place it over just to secure it. That 3/8 inch piece of ribbon and then you're gon na want to let that dry and so basically we're gon na be attaching it along with our clip. And so I'm just going to turn that back this to the back, add our clip. Okay, so now take your bottle cap and then add some glue and then place it in the center of your bow, and here is how that technique will look now, if you're putting the image on the inside of the bottle cap, then all you'll need is just A small piece of sealed ribbon on the top of the bottle cap so turn it over and then um since we're going to be placing it on like this. We'Re gon na want the ribbon to be going like that. So take your your huckleberry, your super glue and just add two dabs on the back and then place it on and again just let that dry. So once that has dried, all we're gon na do now is just add some hot glue to the back of the bottle cap and then place it on the center of our bow, and that is also a really cute way of doing that. Adding bottle caps to bows is so easy with these simple steps and they really make a boat stand out or make it easy to personalize for the little cutie wearing it remember. Aubrey E: Ive been making bows for some time now, and I haven't had a problem with using hot lure on the bottle caps. It will only come off if I pull very hard at it. I'll have to try the super glue and see if I like that better.

Joy Hines: Where do you get your images for the bottle caps?

Dani Chao: What type of bows is used in the stacked bow in the first example? Thanks!

Marina Eliassides: I glue felt circles under my bottle caps and i place the ribbon that will go around the bow between the cap and the felt circle using my hot glue gun. After it dries the bottle cap peels right off very easily. Are there different glue sticks or should i be using something else? Thanks!
