Let'S Make A 2.5" Tiny Hairbow! ((Challenge))/ How To: Hairbows

I challenged myself again....This time I wanted to make a 2.5" bow. Did I succeed? I also challenged a fellow crafter/bowmaker to make a small bow. How small did she go?

I decided to use 5/8" ribbon for this particular bow. I LOVE THE LOOK OF THIS SIZE vs 3/8"! The colors used in my hair bow: Navajo Turquoise and Hot Pink

The measurements:

Pinwheel Base bow (6 loops)

Spikes Each piece measures 3.5" in length (I used 4 Turquoise and 5 Hot pink) 8 form the MAIN SPIKE and the last pink went in the very center of the entire thing!

Twisted Boutique bow 2 pieces glued together to form ONE piece (top half turq and bottom half pink) Each piece measures 8 inches for a total of 16 inches.

Twister Topper *I used two pieces of ribbon (one pink and one blue, of course) Each piece measured 8.5" in length.

I secured the bow to an alligator pinch clip (Parially covered with hot pink 3/8" ribbon)

I secured side (accent) bows to each side with SILVER GLITTER buttons in the center of each accent bow.

The middle is a "bling" button (with the shank removed, of course).

At the very top of the bow is a small HOT PINK flower glued directly to the top spikes.

You, okay, guys, as you can tell about the title of the video, I did go ahead and challenge myself to complete another tiny hair bow. Not only did I challenge myself, but I challenged a fellow crafter and I'm gon na leave. Tami'S video link down below in the descriptions box be sure to click it check it out and see how tiny she was able to go okay. So the goal here was to make a bow smaller than the one that we made before. I believe it was three inches, so I was aiming for two and a half inches and I'm sad to report that this was just over two and a half inches. Let me see again where it was yes, it's just barely over two and a half inches is almost to three inches again and I'm using 5/8 inch ribbon for this particular bow. It'S really super cute, and let me tell you a little bit about it. I did add a couple of side bows right there with those sequin glittery buttons right in the center and the colors of this. I was going for like a bubblegum type color pattern, but I didn't want anything too frou-frou. I just wanted it to go with several outfits, so this is, I believe, a Navajo turquoise and it's hot pink and it's just solid colored ribbon and let's see we have a base bow now. The base belt I used was a six loop pin, we'll using 5/8 inch ribbon and again all of the measurements and the ribbon sizes and information is going to be down below in the description box, so be sure to check it out all right. So we have a pin wheel base bow and then we have spikes and a surround a bow twisted boutique and then on the very top er. I did the twister topper, because I am starting to really dig those for my toppers on the bows here lately. In the center we have a bling little bling button and it's blue and shiny, and it's so so cute and then right here at the top is just a cute little hot, pink flower and it's glued right here on the top of my spikes. Alright, it's another small bow and I'm still aiming to get two and a half inches to two. We shall see. Maybe if I just trim up the measurements, I can go even smaller, but this is so cute. Look it fits it fits in your hand. Oh so nicely, and I love it - I'm loving this size and these would make great picked. Elbows and Kennedy wears a lot of pig tails. But I love this and this is a cute little bow just like the big girls wear and let me show you what it looks like how tiny it is compared to my spool of thread. Look at that look at that. Let'S see, oh my goodness, alright guys, so I'm still gon na go through and challenge myself again and see. If I can get even smaller. I know it can be done, but can it be done with my hands? It'S such a challenge for me. Alright, so be sure to check down below in the description spots for all of the measurement information like I said, and you can make your very own tiny, almost almost three inch bow for your little ones and don't forget to check out Tami's, link and I'll see You guys in the next video you
