How To Make Hair Bows: Easy Instructions For A Pinwheel Bow

Hi today, I'm going to show you how to make a pinwheel bow. You will need feathers, your lighter or wood burning tool, some thread and your ribbon, I'm using one and a half inch ribbon and it's about 24 inches. Once you get the hang of it, you can see how long you've liked yours, how big you want the loops to be. You can also use seven eighths inch ribbon or other sizes by me, whatever you would prefer, but this is the size that I'm making today it will turn out something like this. This one's not quite finished, but this is what it can. We uh looks like to start out you'll. Take your ribbon and you'll want to feel your ends with the lighter. Well, first, you want a layer that works then, once with a little bit more, even so, it doesn't have ridges on the end heat fill it again. You can also use a wood burning tool to heat seal. Your ends, you just want to run the lighter over it so that they do not pray all right and you will start out. You want to start with your a tail at the bottom and you will just fold it kind of like this and then put the ribbon right up against it like this all the way around and then go up one more time. One of my shirts. Even so, you might have to mess with little it to get even loops okay. So then you have three right up against each other. Three different tools of the ribbon and you'll have two tails on the end. Then you'll want to find the middle and you can use templates for these as well. I do have some cardboard template. I made that i could show you in a video, but you want to just fold it to find the middle. You can sew it as well. If you want to just put a couple stitches in there in the middle and then wrap the thread around, i'm just going to wrap the thread around a minute, so you want to wrap it around several at one time and then you'll definitely have to make adjustments. However, you want your lips to be cut our bread here. R, FR on the rest, just make sure it's good and tight, and then you'll adjust all your loops out how you want okay, so then you can. You need to cut any of your tail down a little bit to make them look even your that heat fill them again shut this one down a little. That is your pinwheel boat, and then you just decide what sort of a center you want on it. You can use like a three-eighths inch ribbon, um a couple inches and the ends are heat, sealed and wrap it around. If you would like to do that, that's just a simple: you would hot glue the backside, I'm not going to hot glue it because i'm not going to keep this one on it. So that's an example of one you could do or you could use this same ribbon and not it and put it around there. If you want to keep it the same color or you could do completely different centers. If you want to use like a button, sometimes that looks neat or really any kind of Center. You want to do it's completely up to you and then you would just attach it on the back to a lined alligator clip or French bread. Whatever you are attaching it this and you would have a finished, pinwheel boat, here's a couple other example: they are not completely finished because they do not have the center's or the or the clips on them, but these are just some of what they won't look like Before you put them on this one, I did I made, I just put a flower in the center, so really the possibilities are endless.
