So i'm going to show you how to make a hair bow, so i started off making these almost seven years ago now quite experienced at it. I just do them hand sewn. I know a lot of people can do sewing machine but yeah. I just prefer to do a handstand yeah, we'll get straight into that one. So today, i'm going to show you how to make a hair bow. So what we need is some fabric scissors measuring tape. We need some needle and thread and we need some fabric glue. I just use the helmer fabrically, i'm going to grab our fabric and we're going to cut it, so the size that i make mine is four inches, so we're going to cut around four inches off and then we're going to cut eight inches across. So that's pretty much it, but i'll just cut a little bit more off. What we're going to want to do is use our fabric glue and we're just going to put a bit of glue on the edges. You can also do this without fabric glue. You just have to cut it wider and then iron in the edges fold that over and i press that down on fabrics that are darker. You just have to be careful not to press too hard because it will leave a mark on the other side. I could leave like a dark uh a glue mark, but because this fabric is quite light, it's going to be okay, so just press that down like that, then we grab our needle and thread uh. So if you don't know how to thread a needle i'll, just quickly show you, so what you're going to want to do is pop it through the eye of the needle, which is that little gap there. We don't need a lot of thread for this. Just cut that off and then to tie it up, all you got to do is just make sure you got both ends like that, so we got both the ends there and all i do is just i tied around my finger, so i just i loop it Around like that, make a little circle and then pop the thread back through. I just keep doing that a couple times until it's made a knot fold it in half to the middle and then fold it in half again on the other side and overlap it by about five millimeters and just make sure it's overlapped on both sides. Kind of like flatten it down a little bit like that, i usually do about five pleats, so um i'll pop it in, and i will pop it back through like this and i'll do that about five times. So i have five pleats. So do that one? Two! Three four five and i'll look at that and i'll see if i like the shape, so i probably didn't do a big enough plate on this end, so um what you can do you just pull it back and all the way and then re-adjust there we go So we pull that all the way through and if it comes out the other side, we just have to re-sew and do another knot, yeah and then we just pull that nice and tight just make sure all the pleats are even and straight, and i usually just Wrap this around a couple times, i do it quite tightly as well, so just wrap that, like that, so we've got that piece, we're going to grab the fabric that we just had and we're going to cut a little bit off the edge. So i've already made a couple bows out of this fabric, as you can tell so we're going to cut about an inch and a half so we're about that much and we're just going to so. You can also do this with an iron as well. If you wanted just fold it inwards, i might need to cut a little bit off and then fold the other side inwards just make that like that, so what we're going to want to do is put glue on this side. That'S the side we folded in, as you can tell so we're just going to put a bit of glue in the middle, i'm going to pick up the bow and place it on top and sort of pinch it at the back and just make sure it's looking All pretty from the front flip it over just cut a bit of excess off and we'll cut the thread out of the way and then we're just going to want to glue on both sides and get that in there as well. And then we're just going to want to close that down, pull that around make sure you don't use your expensive fabric scissors for this part, because you don't want glue on your expensive fabric scissors and so see, there's a little bit of part. That'S um lifted up. So i'm just going to pop a little bit more glue in there and then i just sort of play with it. A little bit make sure it's all even squish that down a bit more and yeah there. We have it eye bow and then you just put the clip in the back um if you're using barrette clips you'll slide that in before you glue that or you can hot glue it as well. If you don't have this but yeah, so that's a hair bow. I hope you guys enjoyed that tutorial. It was one of my first items i ever made, so i've obviously changed how i make them over the years made them more me. There'S your secret into how to make them they're quite easy, really fun to make and yeah. I hope you enjoyed that. Let me know how you go in the comments below make sure you give it a like and subscribe, because i'll be making more videos like this in the future. Let me know how you go and i will see you guys next week, boys

I made a whole load of bows the other day and when I checked them the next day, they were all hard even though I used fabric glue. I ended up having to bin them all,
