Create Easy Bows With The Bowdabra Bowmaker Tool | A.C. Moore

Another question that I'm always asked is: how do I make a very simple bow? That'S just got two loops, a real, simple little Christmas tree, bow or package bow. So I'm going to show you two really easy bows right now and how to make them, and I'm going to use some of our wonderful ribbon that we have on our website. So again, I'm gon na take our bowdabra bow wire fold it in half and put that down in the bowdabra and tuck the ends underneath just so. They stay out of the way. Then I'm gon na take the ribbon and all I'm gon na do is just twist because there this is another one of ours with sparkles on it on one side. So it's it's a it's a two-sided ribbon twist it and push it down and again, all I'm doing here is just twisting and pushing, and I'm just visually looking because when you make a hand-tied bow, it's never exact and then for the little loop in the middle. I'M gon na make a loop, that's about half the size of this loop and I'm just gon na scrunch that right down in there, then I'm gon na take my bowdabra wand. Push it down now, I'm actually using gold bowdabra bow wire, but we do have silver that would work great with this silver and red ribbon. So I'm going to bring this around to the back just twist it and make my little loop here, I loop and it's ready to hang on my tree now. Another one that we're gon na do is again take my bowdabra bow wire fold it in half and lay it down in the bowdabra. Then i'm going to take this really pretty again. It'S a german art floor ribbon the beautiful pattern, I'm just going to twist it and scrunch that down make a little loop and scrunch it down. So really all we're doing is full twist scrunch fold twist scrunch. So it's just so simple, and this bow that you can put on a package you can put on a wreath. You can hang on the tree, this one sits down and, of course you can use different ribbons and put it on a birthday present or on the front of a floral arrangement.
