How To Make Your Own 4Th Of July Hair Bows : Crafts, Candles & More

Hi, my name is christina gavindo with domestic felicity.com and today we're going to talk about how to make your own 4th of july hair bows for this project. We'Re going to use an alligator clip a glue gun, a 10 to 12 inch piece of ribbon. A six inch piece of ribbon and about a four to five inch piece of ribbon. First, we're going to find the middle of our 12 inch piece of ribbon just fold it in half and mark it with your finger, then put a dab of glue there and fold your ribbon in be careful not to overlap just meeting. This is going to form our bow and we're going to pick it up. Put another dab of glue there and fold it in half hold it until the glue sets and then we're going to put a dab of glue on the underneath and fold the top down. I'M going to turn it over and do the exact same thing to the other side. Next, we're going to take our six inch piece of ribbon and put a dab of glue on the middle place. The bow down make sure it's secure, then we're going to take our four to five piece. Inch piece of ribbon turn our bow over put a dab of glue on the back, secure the end of the ribbon and then we're going to wrap it around twice. Once you have it wrapped around twice we're going to put glue on the bottom layer, take our alligator clip clip it on and then press it down we're going to take our extra ribbon here and fold it under and then really secure the clip using your glue Gun once your back is cooled flip your bow over and then straighten your ribbons out.
