#hairbows #hairaccesories #hairbowtutorial

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel, i'm going to be showing you how to print your own hair bow canvas again. Today. I'Ve done some tutorials on how to do these ones before we used a laptop to do these ones or a pc. But today i'm going to show you how you can do this just using your smartphone, your mobile phone or tablet, whichever you've got now the things you will need to do. This is, of course, a printer, and this has to be an inkjet printer, not a laser printer, i'm using the canon pixma mg 3650s. Now, when it comes to buying a printer, make sure again that it is an inkjet printer search for one with good reviews and also check the ink prices, because you don't want to be spending loads of money on ink, you will also need some plain canvas. I'M using this cotton canvas and that is a 350 gsm. I got these from ebay. You get like a pack of sheets like this and, as you can see, the back is slightly creamier slightly rougher than the front side. The front side is lighter and smoother. Now because this is obviously still quite a thin fabric, even though it's a good gsm, we do need to back our canvas and that will just make the loops hold better in our bow. So here i've got some felt, which has already got the sticky back on it. It comes in a variety of colors and you can just match the felt up with your designs that you print so on the back here. You will just peel off this backing and then, as you can see, it's got a sticky back on there. So these can then stick on to the back of your finished printed canvas. So that's one way that you can back your finished sheets or, alternatively, you can buy some just cheap craft felt. I got this from my local craft store 50p a sheet, and then i've also got these double-sided sticky sheets. So with these sheets you will just peel off one side of the sticky sheet and, as you can see, that's got a nice sticky backing on there and then you also peel off the other side and then you've got this clear, double-sided sticky sheet, which you can Then sandwich between your felt and your finished printed canvas so peel off this side. Stick it onto the felt and then peel off the other side and then apply your finished printed canvas and then, as you can see, you've then got a nice little bit of thickness added onto that canvas, so that will hold a really nice shape on your loops. So now i'm just going to screen record my phone, so you can see i've got the canva app here already installed. I just searched for canvas belt c, a n v, a on the app store and downloaded it, and i've just got google up here and i've searched for free vectors and on here. You will then see all these different websites. You'Ve got free, pick vector, easy. You'Ve got png tree all these different free vector websites that you can choose from, but i'm going to go back up and where is it here already highlighted? We'Ve got vec dz, which is one of my favorites. So you've got your search bar here in the middle search vectors and i'm going to type in sunflower and we want a seamless pattern so i'll type in sunflower, seamless and then we've got all these different patterns come up and now i'm going to go to filters And then at the bottom here it says, license type we want to select free and then apply the filter and then all of these ones here are now your free vectors that you can use and you've got all sorts on here. You'Ve got some text. You'Ve got your seamless patterns. You'Ve got like some individual elements. If you wanted to choose those, and then these are your stock images, we want to go back up to the top where they're free. Now i liked the top one here this one here, so i'm going to press on that and then, as you can see, it says, free download here, so we're going to select that then you've got the option for pro license or free license. Obviously, we want to select the free license, so we're going to select free, license, attribution required and then at the top it then says your download will automatically begin and then press download again and then at the top here. This little blue arrow shows you that it's now downloading. So then you can press on that and then select where it says: vect easy, sunflower and then you can see the zip files here so search for the one that says: vec dz, sunflower press on that. Then here you can see us opened another little folder select that one also and then the image of the sunflower and now we need to save this so at the bottom. Here you've got this little arrow press on that and then save image, and then that will automatically then save to your camera roll and now we can go to the canva app and then here you can see all these different options. You'Ve got your facebook posts. You'Ve got postage. This is where i do my youtube thumbnails now. The one we want for a4 is flyer, so we're going to select flyer just here and then select the blank page. We'Ve got our a4 blank page and then just here, you've got the option. To add all different things, so we're going to go to uploads. You'Ve got some uploads on here that i've already uploaded, but we want our image. So i'm going to go to camera roll and i'm going to find my sunflower image that we've saved, which is just here and that will then upload onto our canva app. So we'll just bring this up. You can see it there uploading. So i'm just going to press on that to open that up on our page and now i'm going to resize. It just drag it up to this corner and then i'm going to make my sunflowers to the size i want bearing in mind this is like an a4 sheet, so looking at that the flowers will be around a centimeter. And then, if you look at the bottom here, you've got this little square. Just here we're going to press on that and that will duplicate our image. I'M going to have four of those images up and then we can drag these out of the way so press on the next one drag that down press on the next one and this one we're going to line up with that. First, one like that and as you can see, those little pink lines appear to show when you're in line and as you can see, if i zoom in that's made a lovely seamless pattern, there's no gaps on there. So i'll select the next square drag that up. Wait for those little pink lines to come up to show this in line like that and then select the last square, drag that up and line it up like that, and now we've got a full line here. We can now press on the one of the squares to highlight it. So when you press one that'll highlight blue press and hold on it until it says one element selected like that and then tap on the next one and the next one and the next one and now we've got four elements selected and then tap that duplicate button. Again, so we've now got a whole line, duplicated, which we can then drag down and line up. Just like that. Now we're going to repeat that again, so we're going to press and hold on one of the squares until that says, one element selected tap tap tap. So we've got those four in a line duplicate that drag that one down and line that one up, and then we are just going to repeat that process until we've covered our whole a4 sheet of paper and there you have your full a4 sheet ready to print Out now, i'm just going to show you how to troubleshoot now, sometimes when i do these sheets, you end up with a slight little tiny gap between the pattern and no matter how much you try to get it to join neatly that just won't. So if this does happen, i'm going to purposefully move one of these squares, so that is out of line just to show you like this now this one, if i select it that does just join up, but sometimes that just will not join up like that. So imagine you've got this little gap here and no matter what you do, you cannot get that to line up neatly. What you need to do is then select that element. So that's highlighted that could be a whole line if you want and then scroll across until you find nudge, so here select nudge and then you can just tap the arrow in whichever direction you need that to shift, and then that will just bring that together. Like that, so, as you can see, that is now nicely joined up with no gaps and you've got your seamless pattern again. So then, if we just zoom out there, you go your full seamless pattern. Now we can save that at the top. Here you want to press on the arrow and then save your image, and that is then saved automatically to your camera: roll ready to print. So if we head into our camera roll so select photos and then the sheet that we've just created is here and then at the bottom. Here you've got this arrow. You want to press on that and then, if you scroll up you'll see print. So you select the print option and then you'll need to select your printer now. Mine won't come up, obviously, because i haven't got it switched on, but your printer should come up here when it's found or there's a bluetooth printer. If you've got to plug it in select your printer and then you can then print out as many sheets as you like now as a little extra here, i'm just going to show you how you can add a ruler and then print out your own elements. So, as you can see, these are all my previous projects that are saved on here. I'M going to go back and select flyer again, so we've got an a4 sheet and press the little plus sign down here to bring up our uploads select, upload, so select, uploads and then upload media. I'Ve already saved a ruler image here, which i'm going to upload to canva and then bearing in mind an a4 piece of paper is 21 centimeters by just under 30 centimeters. So we're going to drag this ruler at the top here. So it goes from naught to 21 centimeters, so i'm just going to keep fiddling with it up here until i can get it lined up to meet 21 centimeters across that top. So we've got that lined at the top up to 21 centimeters. So now we've got a margin, so i'm going to duplicate that bring this ruler down and just spin it. We want the numbers going from zero at the top and then going higher that go down the page. So we're going to put this one at the side of the page, so we've got a full corner ruler that way and i'm going to do the same as i did with the top. But this time we want it to go to just under 30 centimeters. So it matches the size of a4 paper, so i'm just going to keep moving this around to line that up so now, we've got this lined up we're going to save it to camera roll and then we're going to go over to our bazaar, app and we're Going to make that a clear background so go to buzz art and then plus at the bottom design from scratch. So we'll select the portrait and then we're going to add our ruler image. So we've got this white background and then we're going to go across the bottom two scissors and we're going to cut this out, and then i'm just going to draw around this image with my fingers. And this is what is going to be cut out when you get to the end, you can see where you're cutting out press the tick at the top, and this is what you've got now now. The red is where the cut out is, and the white is what we're going to keep so we're just going to go in now and tidy it up. So i'm on a raise, and i'm just going to zoom in and erase the rest of this white bit until we've got this ruler nicely cut out with a plain background and then once you're happy with that. You can then save that to your camera. Roll also and then back onto canva back onto our flyer, and then we can go to upload media again, select that image and then, as you can see, it's uploading with the clear background and then now you can enlarge this so that fits in the corner of Your piece of paper, i'm just going to close in these sides because they're a bit wide, i'm just dragging these sides in cropping it down a little bit to make it easier, and then we can enlarge this so that fits right across the corner of our a4 Piece of paper, and then that way, when you're doing your images on your small phone screen, you can get an idea of how big your elements are going to be. You can measure your bow template what you're using and then you can fit certain elements to fit on the loops exactly so. If i go to upload here, i've got this sunflower element here from earlier and i'm going to crop this down. I'M just going to select crop crop out this little pot of sunflowers and i'm going to crop that and then i'm going to make it smaller and then using our ruler. We can then make this fit inside to fit inside a bowl loop of our desired size. So i can make it as big or small, as i like and then get rid of the ruler and then we're going to duplicate this sunflower. And then you can lay this out on your a4 piece of paper and obviously these are then all the right size to fit onto your hair bows. You should get around eight to ten on one piece of paper. I'D say: eight to be safe to fit on a nice medium-sized hair bow so yeah just line all these up keep duplicating them to how many you want and then, when they're all lined up, you can then print them out and use them on your hair, bow Loops so as i've shown you today, you can make little elements for hair bows like these little words and also your seamless patterned fabrics and, as you can see on this one to fill up the whole sheet, i did half and half. I did a half of a dog print and half of a heart for valentine's, so that is also another option that you can do in my next tutorial i'll, be showing you how to do personalized name sheets. You can do a sheet full of names and line them up on your canvas, so the products i've used today, such as the canvas, the double-sided adhesive sheets, the felt i'll link those products in the description below this video. So you can check those out. I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial if you've got any questions pop them into the comments below. Thank you for watching everyone. Bye, bye for now,
