No Sew Hairbows, Superhero Style!

Time to Assemble......some hairbows!

Here's how to make some hair accessories for the SUPER in style. ;) I also suppose you could make cool bow ties or package decorations with this tutorial. Go wild.

Hey I'm serendipity and today we are going to make superhero hair bows. Okay, so the idea for superhero hair bows came when so. I friends started getting me the hair bows and I thought they were pretty cute and they're fun. For some days I felt almost sort of too little kiddish. Maybe I don't know too cute seeing them. I guess, and then I thought what about hair bows but superhero um. So I've got this. I got this hawkeye one cuz Hawkeye is my favorite. Although vision is vision is getting up there anyway, so this one is kind of basic end up trying to put the little hawk eye symbol on there. I didn't do that great. So maybe I can do better next time, but I'm gon na put this in my hair boo and then we're going to start on a captain. America themed 1. I'Ve got this little guy with me for inspiration um. So what we need for one hair bow is a six inch by 11 inch piece of fabric in the color. You want a three inch scrap of ribbon and whatever you want, your accent color to be, and then I was going to. I find the star button in the middle, but I couldn't so. Instead, I'm going to paint a little a with some white acrylic paint and a paintbrush extra stuff will need, is hot glue because we are not sewing today and you may need a sharpie to mark your fabric. So first thing I do is take your fabric and fold it in half and then just mark where the corners are and then we're going to unfold the fabric and where the, where the mark is we're going to fold it in. To that. Like so, and do the same for the other side like such and then you just want to glue these down so I'll stay like this and see it's glued down in the center. Now, let's not go down all the way cuz. I would make a not very puffy bow and then basically we do the same thing: the other direction you want to fold it in half, you want to mark it and then you're going to fold them in and glue them. So your fabric should look like this. Now this is going to be on the inside and this will be the front of your bow as you can see it's glued down in the middle, but it's open on the sides. So what you want to do now is just putting the March side on the back just kind of want to crumple it down into a bow, shape, see and then pull off all the little strings and take your scrap of ribbon and you're going to wrap it Around the center and glue it down now, when you glue it, you don't want to put the end down all the way first. Instead, you want to leave it, so you just want to glue this end and then wrap it, and then what you want to do is take a bobby, pin and slide it down over it with the you want this side. So you want like this with the wavy side facing up slide it over, and then you glue it down so that the bobby pin is centered nicely on the back. So now that you have your bow all made with your little bobby pin on the back we're going to just paint a little a on it, and here we go a finished Captain. America bow clip um, so yeah, it's kind of simple, but takes about 10 minutes and two and just like some scraps of stuff, you could make a dozen of them just out of old scraps of fabric. You'Ve got around um. You know just take an afternoon make one for every Avenger. That'S probably what I'm gon na do. Eventually, I've already made an Ironman Hawkeye. This is my second captain, america, one so yeah. Uh. 22. 22. 22. 22. 22. Well, I hope you like this tutorial and comment below if you have any questions or tell me what you want to see in next week's vid once again, thank you and this is serendipity signing out.
