How To Wash And Blow Dry Hair Extensions

Hey guys it's Christina so today I wanted to do a little tutorial for you, showing you how I wash and style my clip in extensions which I've been wearing clip in extensions for years and using yours, and I know at first it can be a little bit Confusing but you will get the hang of it, so you definitely want to take care of them, especially if they're real human hair they're, not synthetic, which I don't even know why you would want to waste your money on those, because you can't do anything with them. You can't put heat on them and they just look ratchet, but if it's a real human hair you definitely want to take care of them, so that way they last longer and then you get your money's worth out of them. So the ones I have here are obviously calm. Braids and these I got from my fantasy hair. I'Ve had so many extensions before, but these are definitely my favorites and then I also picked up the shampoo conditioner from my fantasy hair, which is specifically formulated for extension. So you could technically wash them with a regular shampoo conditioner, which is what I used to do. But if you wear extensions all the time you want to take care of them and you have a few bucks to spare. I'M just sharing this with you guys, because I was about to wash them because they were getting a little ratchet with like all the hairspray and products that I've been putting into them and wearing them every single day. They were just like looking a mess, so I was like. Let me wash them and then I was like. Why don't I just film it because I wish I knew how to do all this back when I first started wearing extensions and, as always, don't forget to give this video a thumbs up subscribe to my channel and yeah, let's get started so first, you want to Make sure that you brush your extensions, so they're not singled and then I'm taking each weft separately and wet in it, then, with a little shampoo, I'm going to carefully wash each weft trying to kind of not single it, because you don't ruin your extensions either. So I'm trying to get all of the products out without messing with it too much then I rinse it and apply a little bit of conditioner and you want to make sure that you thoroughly coat all of the hairs and I'll just kind of slap on the Conditioner to two sides: you want to make sure that it's really in there. So then I do that and set aside, so the conditioner can seep in and then just continue to in the same steps with the other weft. So I'm going to speed up this parts here at board, but basically the whole process took me about 10 minutes. So it's really fast and then I'll leave the extensions aside and let the conditioner seep and for maybe 10 or 15 minutes. So then I come back and I take each weft and rinse it off the conditioner separately because, like I said you don't want to mess with them too much and tangle them. And then I like to take a towel and lay all of my extensions out on it separately and brush them through, so they kind of air dry a little bit and they're not singled. So this is what I like to do to low dry them. So you can either put them into a drawer and like your dresser or something like that, in my case, I'm just using a cabinet in my bathroom and these extensions actually came with a really useful clip in like a bag to carry them in. I just didn't bring it with me together for here when I moved. So if you do get these extensions and you have that clip, it also has a hook on it like a hanger, so I would say just take one weft clip it in and then hang it on something like a lamp or a doorknob and then blow-dry it That way, so after blow-drying them, you can say whatever you want, you can straighten them, curl them and that's it you're done so.
