Hi everyone welcome back to my youtube channel, so today i am going to be showing you guys how to use this beauty works, hair plat, so this is called the insta braid and it's a new product by beauty works by the way. This is obviously not like an ad or any kind of thing like that. It'S just basically like a review because i've been using it and i just think it's fantastic. I have had my roots done, so i'm feeling super super fresh, nice and white. My hair is cute um, but yeah, so i put this in just to give my hair like obviously extra length, and it gives it like a massive braid. I know that braiding hair can be like quite difficult, especially if you've got hair. Like mine, i mean how you're gon na do it on that. It'S really short um, so you could clip in hair extensions and then braid it, but i always tend to get like lumps and bumps where i've got the extensions in and it feels really uncomfortable. So this is a really really cool braider, so this shade pure platinum, 24 inches. So it's super super long, it's pure platinum, which is like the lightest blonde. I think you can get. The only thing is because i have had my hair done. Um i've got a toner on it. That'S super super white and this may be a little bit more like goldeny, but after like two weeks it will match. If you're blonde, then you'll know what i'm talking about your toner always goes on. You go super white kind of purpley, blue and then two weeks later you love it so anyway. So this is the braid. I have used it a couple of times. It'S a little bit knotty at the top it's on this hairband and then it's got three bits of hair here, one two three and there your braids and then you've got this bit here which, like wraps around the top to hide um the joining at the top. So these are super long and they're, also like really thick inside. I don't know what that is in there, but it's like really thick. So i guess it like helps with like winding it around but yeah. So it's super super long, so you can get a really cool plait with that um, but i'm going to show you how to apply it because it is. It obviously looks really simple, but it can be a little bit complicated, especially trying to hide these in your hair to bear with me and i'm going to pop in and show you okay. So i'm going to show you how to put it in first, we need to put your hair in a ponytail, i'm just going to be using a little mirror down here, i'm probably not going to backcomb my hair, to be honest, because i don't really like back Combing it i always get worried this gon na like get all fluffy and snuff, or something so i'm just gon na use it. I'M just gon na tie it up as it is to be honest into a really high ponytail, just make sure that it's all slicked back. So i want it quite high. The higher you have it the higher your plaque is going to be. To be honest, so it kind of doesn't really matter. It depends on where you want it, i mean you can use this plant and have it as like a low painter, so it kind of is entirely up to you how high you have it, but obviously from experience and from me wearing it for, like the last Couple of weeks, i know that i, like it quite high, say probably about there so get your hair banned and tie it up always do it quite tight because you don't need to move okay, so i think that's quite slicked back anyway. I don't think i need to hairspray that i don't really tend to hairspray my hair too much unless i've got like loads of flyaways, which luckily i don't really get um just because i don't like that. Crusty feeling, especially when you brush out in the evening or whatever i don't like that like crustiness, because i think, oh my god, is that snapping my hair, so i like to just keep it pretty sleek my hair is so white. I actually look a little bit bald right, so then you get your hair piece like this. Now i always put it on that way. So put it on with these bits on the inside, so you flip it like that, put it on now. This is a short bit i think yeah, so you might want to keep this bit like forward just like. I sometimes just put it across my face to be honest, because you can still see what i'm doing and then tie it around so you're lifting everything in to that ponytail, and then i just pull that bit under here through there. Just make sure that it's all on top okay, so it does look a bit weird, because you've now got these braids and you've got your hair. But that's okay, just make sure you're keeping this one forward at all times, because that is going to be the one that hides it. What you need to do is just separate your hair into three parts, including those bits. So i've got like one section here and then that and again one section there and then the big bit and again that one in my hand - and then you literally just pull up like that, it's so easy, even if you've got short hair, it does hide it. I mean you are going to get that odd, a little bit that sticks out, but it doesn't really matter, and i quite like a messy plait anyway. So sometimes i pull this out on purpose. See that little bit stuck out there, but that's okay. I can always poke that bit back in and it depends really like how how long you want to do your plait, i mean i tend to stop about there. I think you go as long as you want really to be honest, but i just kind of tend to stop about here, because i like to have like a long piece hanging down at the end like that. So then, i just get my little hair bottles, which i've got these see-through ones here, they're like the little plastic ones, pink and blue, but they they don't really show. So i just get that and then i just put that at the end like that there we are pull the bits around here and push them in. So now you can't see like the joining or anything, and then you literally just get this last piece here and you wind it around like that there we are and then you just get a bobby pin and literally just pin it in place and there you are You have now got a super super long braid. How cool is that? And it's just the easiest thing like it doesn't matter if you're just like rushing in the morning and you still want to get like a good hairstyle, you can just whack this in people. Oh, my god, you spent so much time on your hair yeah. I did no. I didn't. I literally took about two seconds i just clipped a plait in and also like. I think you could really dress this up. It could be like a really cool like going out hairstyle because it doesn't let you spend like quite a long time to be fair, um and then again that you can obviously wear it lower um. I even thought about getting two and having like two plaited bunches. Well, i'll just do a quick video, because when i got it, i had to like youtube it and google it and stuff to find out how to use it as well, because it's not really that easy, but it doesn't really come with like many instructions. It comes with like a little booklet which is cool. I like to see someone actually do it. So then i can like oh okay. It also comes in this really cool hairdryer. So it's called like a hairdryer like a hair, wardrobe uh, which is like a zip up um. I don't know okay, which is really really cool, which means you can obviously travel with it and take it from the guy. Also, i did forget to mention um the price of this, so it is fairly expensive. I think it was about 80 quid 80, something quid, but i don't believe that that's too bad, seeing as you get so much hair with the so much weight and also you get like this cute carry case. You also get like a free, um, hair band and two bobby pins, so you get like a spare hair band, obviously, because i was thinking what, if that hairband snaps - and i can't use it well - no because they give you a spare hair band and the hair Extensions popper on so, even if those both of these hair bands break, you can just put on any hair band you like, which is really cool. So it's basically going to last you like forever as long as you look after it, it's 100 human hair, and i think it's really really good for what it is coming in that little case and coming with all the spare accessories, and you can get some really Cool looks of it. I mean i've, seen people wear them like at the nape of their neck and having like a super super long flat, which is really cool. Definitely like a holiday hairstyle. So there you are the plait in two minutes: cheers guys if you did like this video, please leave it a big thumbs up. Please comment and please subscribe.
