Thin Hair Thick Clipless Topper - Human Hair/Larger Base

Okay, so I have to tell you a little bit about my "aahaaa" moment with this amazing Thin Hair Thick topper.

Some of you may have seen the live that I did on Instagram when I went in to customize this piece.

I had some feedback from some people regarding customization the day prior, & it seems as though anyone who has taken the plunge to go in to a hair stylist or salon to tweek their alternative hair even just a little bit, had a better experience wearing faux hair all together.

Many people suggested that a trim, cut, thinning, shaping, adding a root or highlights, etc. is what made that piece THEIRS, & helped it blend so much better.

I had only tried Heat Friendly synthetics from Thin Hair Thick up until last week, & I loved them, but this HH takes the cake!

Feels wonderful, and comes with a beautiful fashion forward salon fresh color. The rooting matches my biological hair perfectly. If I do anything with the color, I could possibly add a lowlight for better blending with my solid light brown bio hair. The hair feels soft and healthy, and the base... THE BASE! I have enough hairloss that the larger base that Thin Hair Thick now has available is more ideal for me. I instantly felt so comfortable in it, I felt & saw the coverage.

We decided to use the lower profile wig grip rather than the original one, & I personally love it more.

It felt very secure & "cozy" for the remainder of the day, & I kept it on through the evening because it didn't bother or restrict me at all. I tend to remove all fake hair when I get home for the day, unless I intend on leaving again... cause it's more comfortable. But with this piece, it didn't bother me at all.

Putting on the wig grip correctly, picking a piece that gave me adequate coverage, finding a color that blended well with my bio hair, trimming & thinning the piece to blend seamlessly made it 100X better than it already was.

I accidentally deleted the live of Michelle Money customizing, but I put together a mini demo a few vids back & this detailed review of this HH piece!

How has customizing your pieces helped your hair wearing experience?

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel. My name is Amber as many of you guys know, and this is fabricating fringe. Today, I'm sharing with you this beautiful topper that I have fallen in love with, and this is by thin hair thick. I share two other thin hair, thick clipless topper reviews in the past. I will link those down below. I thought the other two pieces by thin hair thick were amazing, but this one takes the cake and I will explain why back in the fall of 2017 like right after I had my baby, I tried thin hair thick for the first time and did a review Now this piece that I did try back then was more of a prototype, although I was kind of blown away by the concept and the fact that it was so comfortable, and then it took away from the traction, alopecia and the pain that occurs when somebody wears A topper on the daily, often times when people wear toppers and pieces with clips, they experience, scalp pain, pulling on those delicate hairs and this whole thin hair, thick clipless, topper concept takes that away and it's very comfortable yet gives you the coverage that you're looking for Now that first piece had a smaller base and because of my hair loss and the lack of hair that I have you know, I filled in with fibers and improvised a little bit now. This size of topper is perfect for many people, with frontal loss and mild hair loss absolutely perfect, but then last year last fall almost a whole year later I tried another synthetic piece and this was wonderful to me. I was blown away even more so than I was with the first prototype that I tried, and this is the one that I tried last year. The base was slightly different. It had three combs added for security. This is they're synthetic heat, friendly heat defining fiber and it's gorgeous for synthetic hair. Now what I noticed and what some people commented on was hey that looks a little bit thick that looks a little bit dense. The thing is is with alternative hair, especially Stoppers. It'S very wise to not judge a piece straight out of the bag or straight out of the box, because everybody has a different preference and a different situation as far as their hair loss and what they prefer on their head. Some people look and feel wonderful with very thick old hair, while others are looking for something very light and thin. So I want to really express to you guys that when you get a piece, whether synthetic or human hair, it's very wise and recommended to customize and make that peace of your own, whether that means thinning trimming cutting you know colouring if it's a human hair piece, Because everybody's gon na have a different take on the way that hair it's their head and the way it looks on their face. So you know this has a lot of hair it's long and it has not been customized. I was still blown away when I put this topper on and I will have that link down below. So you guys can go check that out, but the fibers are great. They still feel great and the base was slightly larger than the first one. I tried great coverage. This is a monofilament top and you know I was quite quite impressed with this piece. I think it might be able to be thinned a little bit. You know take a little bit of that bulk away, but all-in-all very very impressed with this heat friendly, synthetic thin, hair thick piece, so you have to travel on back there and see that review if you want more information on this particular piece now today, let's talk About this beauty, this is human hair, and the base actually has been a little bit more advised and you can get a smaller base like the one that you just saw on the synthetic piece, but this base is actually even larger, and so this fits my needs. Quite well gives me great coverage in the back because of the hair loss in my crown. Obviously, it helps wonderfully with the front. This is actually a silk top, so this is going to give you the most realistic, looking scalp parting area. So take a look at that some people like to wear these pieces straight up to the hairline and that's their prerogative, others like to wear it a little bit off and more on the crown, so it kinda just depends on how you want to wear it and How it fits how it feels and how it gives you the coverage that you want, so we actually went in and had this piece customized by Michelle money. It was awesome and I did a live on Instagram and I accidentally deleted the footage. I wanted to show you guys the process of customizing this piece, because I think it's very very important to encourage everybody to remove the fear, remove the stigma and go and utilize a hairstylist that you trust to either cut color, trim thin and blend that piece. So it meshes really really well with your own bio hair. We didn't have to do much to this piece because it turned out that the routing on this color matched perfectly with my ashy light brown bio hair. This color that you see right here, is one of their stock colors, which is routed, light ash blonde. I think this is so gorgeous. If you have, you know darker bio hair, a darker route, you can definitely look into doing like a rooted color, and I really feel like having their room on a top piece match. Your bio hair really well, is a big deal when it comes to blending and making that piece. Look like it's part of what you grew yourself. So I really do feel like this. Color is a fantastic match to my bio hair. You can see on the sides - and I actually added some topic - hair fibers to my front hairline prior to putting on this piece just to fill in any sparse areas, but it did not have a really thin, sparse hairline. Then they don't have to worry about that. At all, but just for good measure I like to add some fibers to help blend and to help just feel in that thin hairline. But if you look, I mean, if I pull this hair out like this, it looks really well the the way that it matches the way that it blends it's a it's a fantastic match to this biological hair. So I'm thrilled about this color and the fact that it gives me you know some lighter tones for summer. It just brightens up the look yet blends, pretty dang. Well, with that darker hair color that I have then hair thick has some beautiful colors in there human hair range and they actually have some gorgeous colors in there synthetic HD synthetic range as well so you'll have to check that out. All the links will be down below okay, so I'm going to actually take this off, so I can show you guys a demo of how you put this puppy on. It'S really quite easy, and I want to express to you guys that when I put this on the day that I got it, I came home I made dinner. I didn't feel like I needed to rip it off, whereas with a lot of other pieces as comfortable as they can be. Oftentimes I get home and it's like freedom. I want to take off my wig, so I take off my clip in toppers. You know I want to remove everything and get comfortable because we're home and with this piece it's just so comfortable - it's not restricting I eat but, like I could sleep it. So that's how I feel about this. One also I'll show you guys this. When I take it off, I decided to use a lower profile, big grip, this time around. If you watch my last video, I use a whip grip that looks like this. Your typical wit grip. Well, I have a lower profile whip grip on today, and what that means is this back part where it sits on the nape of your head, it's just much thinner and rather than having velcro, it has an adjustable strap. So I will show you guys that, but for me I just feel like having a lower profile way. Grip really helps the back part of my hair lay more flat. I think it fits my head a little bit better, so I think I like the lower profile. One better, but I know that there are people who prefer this style of wit grip and they have both. Now, because this is human hair, you can curl it, you can straighten it. You can do whatever you want to make it fit your style preferences. So the back needs a little bit more curl, but it was in a rush, so I didn't get that styled. The way that I wanted it, but that just kind of gives you guys an idea of the coverage in the back with this larger base. All right. Let'S take her off take her off, so you guys can see her comes off really easy. I mean no clips, no nothing there. You have it and look at the difference that a talk used to make. It'S amazing. It'S incredible! So not only are you getting the coverage the length, the bulk, that you're looking for in a topper but you're, avoiding adding any more traction, alopecia and hair loss by choosing something that has no image on your bio hair and to me that is a wonderful thing. Am i against top versus clips? No, I love them. Do I wear them daily? No, so I haven't experienced more hair loss because of toppers, but I kind of switch it up and don't wear them on a daily. Now, if I was, I know that many many people deal with scalp pain and further hair loss because of that everyday wear. This is something that they wouldn't have to worry about: wearing a clipless, no pain. No alley topper like this. To give you guys an idea of the difference between your normal wig grip and your lower profile one. This is what I'm talking about. Just has that thinner area around the name. So if you happen to have a more flat head, I don't have a flat head. Some people have a hard time with headbands keeping it on their head. So if you do have an issue with headbands, I'm having a lower profile, wig grip or trying to figure out another way of keeping that headband in place would help you, because the whole concept of this you know clipless topper, is basically a headband. This is a patented product and I think it's pretty incredible. First things: first, what you want to do is put your hair in a ponytail. This will just help everything go over your hair, more smoothly. You don't need to do a tight one, just to get it up and off the neck. Now you need to put on your wig rib. One thing that you need to remember is that this seam, that you see, means to face the back part of your head. A lot of people put this wig grip on incorrectly. The soft folded area means to go up front, so you will put that on like so now. If you want to utilize the perimeter of the front of your hair, you can take a comb and go ahead and pull out some of that hair. If it would help to remove that elastic, you can do that. Just pull some of that hair or word. So you can use it for blending and integrating that topper in with your bio hair. Take as much as you feel like you need for integration now. I have not a lot of hair on the sides, so I might pull just a little bit more from back here and it shouldn't matter, because this whole parts going to be covered anyway by the topper. Okay, I'm actually going to put this ponytail back in place, because that will help to easily put this topper where it needs to go. Next up is to put your topper on and place the headband area over your wig rip. Okay, now what you'll do is you will remove your ponytail smooth the hair down, and then you can use the comb on your clippings topper, so it has more security under that wig grip, I'm going to use the comb, although many people don't what you'll do is You'Ll just make sure actually Mike no it's not in there. I'M gon na make sure that's just right underneath the wig grip. Now you can do what you need to do to help blend your biological hair into the topper. If you want to pull your hair up in a high ponytail or a high up to you, can take down some of your biological hair underneath that wig grip and underneath that headband, that will help use your biological hair to cover up the headband area. In the back, but what I learned is that you do not necessarily need to have that biological hair hanging below for it to look realistic and to have it blend, and it's actually more secure and more comfortable, not pulling more hair out from down below. I used to always pull the hair out down here by the knee and me the wave grips slide more so not doing that actually makes it feel more comfortable and more secure. Now, if I wanted to be creative and pull the hair way up, then I could utilize some more hair around the perimeter of my hairline to help cover everything. But you know you can definitely pull it up. You have all that perimeter hair right here and you can definitely pull it in a low ponytail and have it look great as well without pulling out any perimeter down below. So just take note of that. That'S just a little tip and something that I learned this last time that I went and to customize this piece. What I'm going to do is just kind of let it be a messy part. Look how great that part looks and if you feel like you need to blend in that very front rim or edge. You can use hair powders root, touch-up and that will just kind of mute that edge a little bit to help it blend more seamlessly into your biological hair. I don't have a ton of bio hair up front, so that's always my biggest issue with toppers, even though I love them and I think they're incredible. So you do what you want to do to help blend to help mix that all in together and you're golden. I think sometimes giving your bio hair a little bit of lift at the roots up here not only helps camouflage the edge of a chopper, but it makes it just look so much more realistic. You know some people definitely want like a really sleek flat line, but I think that it just looks more real doing it. This way, if you wanted to add a bang to your toppers or anything like that, that definitely could be an option. Like I said, customize your piece so that it fits your needs and what you're trying to achieve as far as your look goes now, if you need to redirect that part because it wants to stay, you can use heat washing and then blow-drying in that direction. Really really helps using some curling iron and some heat to redirect really helps so you can part every which way and make that copper be your style as you can wear it like you grew it all right folks. What do you think about the look of this color on this topper and what do you think of the topper itself? It'S really really comfortable. It feels great toppers are really nice for summer. If you are a Whig, where these are a lot, lighter they're, more breathable, you're able to utilize your own biological hair. So there are a lot of perks to topper wearing and there's definitely a lot of perks to wearing a topper without clips you're. Sondra ♥️: This topper is absolutely beautiful!!! Amber, this topper suits you so well! You look amazing!!

Denise D: Very beautiful Amber and great advise!!! I'm love that you showed us how you made that piece in front stay with the warmth of the curling iron. Camera loves you and so do I. Beautiful piece as well. Hugs xoxo

Shelley Carlson: Thank you for taking the time to show us the whole process. Yours looks great!

Liz Lyons: This is fantastic, Amber. I think I will order one! It looks gorgeous on you. And, I rarely wear my clip in toppers because they aren't all that comfortable. This looks like a great system.

Fatina: I love this piece on you. It looks light and natural. I'm interested in ordering one but worried about it being secure enough, as it can be really windy here. Also I assume that the headband is visible in the back when the hair parts or a gust of wind blows your hair? Is there a way to secure this piece with tape/glue?

hipretty: She really looks beautiful on you, and could not have been a better match. If I didn't know I was viewing this type video...I'd never know! Would love one of these clipless units (even this very one) but I have always had headband slippage even as a little girl. But I dread the thought of the clips damaging and causing loss in even more hair!

Marjean: Looks lovely on you. Thx for the intro into clipless toppers. Great color match, love rooted toppers.

Rosanne Christie: It’s gorgeous!! Beautiful colour on you! This is amazing . Thank you so much for all your help. I have alopecia and that has been my issue with clips is they hurt and ware off more hair!

Jan Boyd: Yes, I have experienced extra hair loss using clips. Love this concept.

Greixy Sosa: Hi! Love your videos. These pieces are great. A huge problem I am having is with customizing. Can you do a video explaining some of the techniques to thing, cut and improve toppers? Thank you for your videos!!!! Truly appreciate it!!!

Peggy Plumlee: Thanks for the video, you do a great job. My questions is: since you are wearing a wig grip, hair combs, a pony tail, and an elastic band over the wig grip.....where is the advantage over a full wig in terms of comfort and coolness in the summer?

Janan Taylor: Lovely topper and you look very pretty with and without it. I’m in the Uk, so not sure about purchasing from USA, but your advice about clips etc is very helpful, as I’m new to the idea of buying a topper for my hair loss condition. thank you

Kate Upson: Wow that looks great & the colour looks great, very natural looking , thank you

Anna Sterling: The topper looks really naturally. Flatter to your scalp which looks realistic. - some of them sit on the top of your head like a hat. Thank you for sharing this. you look great.

Bambi Carson: Thank you for your video. I don’t like the one with the clips because it’s pulling my hair. And it’s making me uncomfortable. I’m concentrating on the hair pulling. It’s annoying! This is awesome to know. I need a bit of help choosing the right color/s. I like the rooted one.

Miriam Dusciuc: Hi Amber! I was wondering if you could tell me what color the topper is that you tried on in the video? I recently ordered one in dark blonde, & noticed that the one you have here is blonde too, so I’m trying to figure if this is the same color or not. I want to be sure the topper I ordered will match my bio hair. Thanks!

Sparky Today: Looks great, and thank you for showing the back too!

Pammie Sue: I experienced all these symptoms you just said from wearing a clip in topper I’m going to check into this one I need a large base

Maria Leach: These toppers all look so good on you. Unfortunately for me, about 15 years ago, I used to go to this local "hair loss solutions" place, and I used to get what's called bonding. So, the guy used to use my own bio hair and glue to stick that topper on my head and then sew it into a "halo" he would create, again, with my bio hair and glue. Over the years I lost a lot of my frontal hair with this system. So, the "solution" to my hair getting thinner turned out to be a bad solution over time. Otherwise, I think I'd still have a frontal hairline. Well, no use crying about it now, forwards and onwards to a new and better solution. So glad I found your videos. Maybe this is the kind of topper I need. Thank you, Amber.

Deborah Woomer: Really like this topper on you! Like the idea of the clipless topper, how secure is it? Haven't purchased a successful topper yet.

Pat Hayes: I think it looks fantastic!!!

Jaime Anderson: You are absolutely beautiful! I cant find one flaw, bump, color mismatch or anything! Girlfriend, I'm taking your advice.

Salome Goldenstein: Love the topper! I am wondering about your eyelashes! They are gorgeous and what brand are they?

Coast Daze: I thought it was your real hair! Looks beautiful. Good color for you, too.

Shiba Ahadi: Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!! Subscribed

jbl: Great video! I've never worn a topper or wig but want to. My hair is baby fine and thin. Recently lost some mostly length due to a medical issue. My hair length is shorter than that topper and very thin. Do you think it would look ok and blend with the little hair I have? Also I live where it's very hot and humid and I sweat a lot. Sometimes my head and hair get completely damp. Since its human hair do you think it would withstand the heat and stay on my head? It looks lite and cool. Is it? The topper looks great on you. The color is perfect and so is the length. No one could tell it's a topper I bet. I know I couldn't. And your eyebrow color matches it perfectly. You look beautiful with it! I love it and would buy it now but I have questions because I've never worn any hairpiece at all. Maybe I should get a synthetic topper because it keeps its style even in the heat and humidity? That's what I've heard. But it's like 100 degrees real temp and feels a lot hotter. So just wondering what you think. You do look so beautiful in this topper. THANK you so much for such a good video and sharing it.

Veronica Taylor: Since it isn't a full wig can you see the white band if you bend down or if the back hair separates?

Drumcat Fano: Does the wig grip really keep that on when it's really windy outside.?That piece and color looks very nice on you.I LOVE your eyebrows. Are they tats?I wear toppers with clips and yes they do hurt some.I just don't know if that looks so sturdy on your head. Thanks

k K: This looks very natural on you. Do you happen to own a wig from them ? I’m curious and have not been able to find more product videos online.

jeez louiz: Looks very natural

VoiceOverAudioJanet: The biggest problem is that one can’t find a good hair topper for under $50 and not everyone can afford to get what they really want and need

Dhana Ramprashad: Hi Amber it looks really natural and beautiful on you. I am hoping when I get mine it will look flawless like yours. Can I change the parting? Also, your coupon code THT007 has expired, do you have a new one please? Another question, I am one of those people I can't keep a band on my head due to my silky hair. Do you have any ideas on what to use?

E Rose: Can I sew on an adjustable halo strap to my topper?

Diane Marie: I loveeee your topper! Can you tell me what's the color on the site because this is my color? Thank you

Ellie Antar: Thanks great video and I love the light and thin piece but do not be able to see it on the thin hairthick hair website? Could you let me know the style number. I also cannot see the link you suggested to look at . Many thanks

Nancy Omachi: My question, is can I use this topper with short hair? My hair is short so I'm thinking the strap would show. But maybe not!

Julie Mann: Very good video. I wear glasses. Would they go over the wig grip? Thank you.

Carrie: Did you show us the inside of the cap? Would like to see that.

Jennifer Anthony: Seems like it moves to easily.

letishia Jackson: Very detailed..

saraah Naaz: I have seen something common in all sorts of wigs and topper be it natural or artificial... After a couple of uses.. They kinda become rough ... Fades away.. Loses its shine ... What about thinhairthick?

Sunny 816: Would it stay on in wind or shaking your head around? It looks like it would slip off so easily.

Margaret Chabot: You look beautiful

Rosanne Christie: I can’t find the web site! Can you help me please???

Fionaclark1092 Clark: Amber, I honestly thought that was your natural hair.

Jacqueline Roberts: Beautiful. I need bangs so can they be cut into the topper?

J S: This company has no customer satisfaction whatsoever. Once they get your money- thats it! THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY THEY WILL FABRICATE A REASON WHY NOT!

Elizabeth Stagg: Like second one more
