One of the most common questions that i get in my support for hair loss. Facebook group is what hair topper for thinning hair is going to work. The best for me, which hair topper is right, for you is really going to depend on what you're looking to get from it. If you're looking to add volume, if you're looking to add length or if you just want to supplement a little bit of pieces where you might have thinning hair, so by the end of this video, you should know the differences in different kinds of hair toppers. The kinds of coverage that you're going to get with each of these and hopefully be able to answer the question which hair topper is best for me. Welcome to the wiggy women. I am so excited to be bringing you. This combination of tutorial and review on hair toppers for thinning hair, how to choose the one that gives you the right coverage for your particular stage of hair loss and, of course i would love to hear from you. So what are you looking to get out of your hair? Topper leave me a note down in the comments and let's chat about it and of course, if you have any questions about hair, toppers and wigs, i am happy to help you in the comments below and if you're new to wigs and hair toppers. Don'T forget to subscribe to my channel and click the bell so that you never miss a wig or hair topper review or tutorial like this one, that's posted weekly today i wanted to answer a question that i am asked all the time in my support for hair Loss, facebook group, and that is which hair topper for thinning hair is going to be best for me. Well, the answer is always, it depends, and so i wanted to go through a number of different hair toppers, where the fibers and the color are relatively the same and just show you the kind of differences that you'll see with different kind of topper bases, hair lines And lengths so today we're going to be diving into multiple different jon renau, hair toppers, starting with this one. This is the jon renau, easy part xl and then we're going to move on to this 12 inch. John renaud top wave synthetic hair topper this jon renau top smart wavy synthetic hair topper in 18 inches and this jon renau top smart hair topper in the straight version in 12 inches. So without further ado. Let'S dive into jon renau hair toppers for thinning hair. So this is what i'm working with you'll, see that my hair is pretty thin here at the part line and it's also thinning around the hairline. My hair is also really gray, so i have already sprayed it with a little bit of dry shampoo, so it'll help blend in with these toppers. So this is the 8 inch version of the human hair, easy part xl in the french style top. So this is going to be a great example of a hair topper that is going to have a very natural look and you'll see a lot of my hair. So this is the french version of this topper and you'll get a good look here at that french knotted part. So looking here, you'll see, this is one of the smaller topper bases that i'm going to show you today. So this only has four clips and again you'll see that double monofilament french top topper base. This is the easy part xl. There is also an easy part standard where it doesn't have this pear shape, but it's more of a straight oval. If you want even less coverage than this, so just to get an idea, if this is the right size for you, you can see this topper is about the width of the palm of my hand. So if i hold my hand up to the top of my head, it gives you a feel for the kind of coverage this topper provides and it's going to be great for the part line. If that's where you're thinning. So i am going to speed up the process of putting the topper on, because i do have separate videos both on how to uh, wear and blend a traditional hair topper, as well as a lace front topper that you can check out here now. You can see my hair after i've put on my hair, topper and you'll see a lot of my hair is showing through with this topper, which is why i use the 8 inch version of this easy part xl. So it looks totally natural, so i'm gon na get in here really close and show you this hairline. So these grayish pieces that are in the front, that's my natural hair and then you'll see it blend right into the topper behind it. You will see a lot of my hair is showing through with this topper, because it is a rather low density, hair, topper and you'll see that on the top, though, there is a lot of that beautiful, professionally colored hair, and it really gives me a salon. Inspired look with these permanent highlights. Not only does this hair topper cover up a lot of my hair's thinning, but it does also cover up a lot of my grays, which i love. So i'm going to turn around here and show you the back and as i do, that pay attention to how much of my hair is visible. My hair is the grayish pieces, while the more redder pieces are going to be the topper hair um. This is a human hair topper, so it's not permanently styled like a synthetic topper would be so this, of course, is also unstyled, so you'll see because this is a pretty low density, hair topper. It has to match my length pretty closely because it's not going to cover much, but this also gives me a really nice realistic, look and feel to it. One of the perks of having a really small base like this is that it's super easy to put up into a ponytail, because you're gon na see a lot of my hair underneath and i don't have to worry about trying to cover or hide a big bulky Base like i would with some of the other toppers, so i can do a nice half up half down. Look with this and it'll look super cute. I get to keep a lot of the things i love about my hair and cover up the things that i don't so now we're going to switch gears to one of the lace front, hair toppers - and this is the top smart wavy i'm going to go through The topper base here pretty quickly because i do have a whole separate video on just this topper, but you'll see it has a very natural part line and a super wide base for full coverage. Again, i'm putting on this topper super quickly, because i also have a video on how to properly wear a lace front, hair topper. So now, as i have this topper on you'll - see that you really cannot see that my hair is only 8-10 inches long. It really has very good coverage and this hairline being that it's a lace front. I don't have to worry about blending my hairline in at all, so it has a beautiful impeccable lace front for a very cohesive and professional look to it. The length is beautiful. This is really my go-to when i want to have long beautiful hair in a topper. So now i'm going to turn around and show you the back and again pay attention to the areas where you can see my hair. If you can find it, so it has a really great coverage. You'Ll see that i have to actually pull back the topper in order for my short gray, hair, underneath to be visible, because this is a very high density, very high, styled, hair topper. It really covers up my hair so well that i am able to add an additional eight inches of length. This topper is really great for low ponytails and low buns, but you really can't do a pretty high ponytail with it, because it does have that very large base that you don't want to risk it being visible, but all in all a super natural piece given that It completely covers up my hair, so now, moving on to the top wave you'll see that this is very similar to the top smart wavy, except that it does not have a lace front, and this is again that monofilament double monofilament top. So it has a very natural scalp appearance and it's going to be very smooth on the top of your head. It does have a removable front clip if you prefer to attach your topper with adhesives and it has a large base, but this base is not as large as the top smart. So i'm going to put this topper on very similar to how i put on the easy part. Xl and again i have a video specifically on how to put on hair toppers. So, as i'm blending, you can really see that, because it is my hairline, i'm able to get a lot more volume here up at the hairline for a really natural look, i'm going to get in here really close, so that you can see the blending of this Hairline again, the greater piece is in front, that is my hair and the topper blends right in behind it. If i were wearing this out, i would probably hit it with either more dry shampoo or some root touch-up spray to really fully blend in those front pieces, but other than that. You'Ll see that there's not a whole lot of my short hair that is peeking through. This is also a very high density topper with really great coverage. It'S not as much coverage as top smart, but you'll see. There'S really no sign that my hair is significantly shorter than this particular topper. I have to actually move the topper out of the way for my hair to be visible, so continuing here along the back and just pay attention to how much coverage you're going to get from this topper and really decide if this is right for you, if you're Someone who is like me and you like to use toppers to add length - this is going to be one where it is high density, full coverage enough that you'll be able to do that. So as long as you have enough hair at the hairline to blend in this traditional topper base, this is a great way to have a very natural look and feel, while still adding some style, some volume and even some length, but all in all, i just love This piece so much because it is just so cute and adorable so now we're headed back to the top smart. With this lace front and this very full coverage large wide base. I will put the dimensions in the description. This also has three removable clips. If you prefer to attach your topper with adhesives instead of clips, if you remember that easy part where the coverage was about, the palm of my hand, you'll see that this coverage has at least twice that and again remember that my hair is only about eight inches Long so this is longer than my hair, but it covers it very very nicely because the length is not much longer than my hair. You can kind of see some of my hair peeking out, but it just looks like a little bit more of a multi-dimensional or layered look, but in terms of the color remember, my hair is very gray, so when you see it all together, it looks really nice That lace front hairline it blends perfectly. There is no blending that i have to worry about no root. Touch-Up spray is necessary with this one because it completely recreates a hairline for me. So a very cute, very natural look with very minimal effort and again, as i turn around and show you all sides of this topper pay attention to where you see my hair versus the topper, i really do have to pull the topper aside in order for you To be able to see my hair, because the coverage on this topper is really really great. So even though i'm only adding a couple inches of length, this topper really gets me there. So very cute. I like to style this with little hair clips and headbands, because it's just so easy, so you can see that not all hair toppers for thinning hair are created. Equal some are going to give you more coverage for your fitting hair than others right. The top smart, like this one, are going to be very full coverage toppers with that really large base and that lace front hairline. These are almost going to give you as much coverage as a wig, except that they do not cover the nape of your neck, and you know the sides of your hair are still going to be out. This easy part here is definitely going to give you a lot of coverage if you have thinning hair here at the part, but you still have some fullness up at the hairline, because this does not have a lace front. It also has a much smaller base than the top smart and the top wave do so. This is great if you just need coverage here up at the part line, and you want some of those permanent highlights, but you still want to let a lot of your own hair come through as well, and then we have the top wave. So this one is a little bit of a happy marriage between the top smart and the easy part xl. So on the easy part xl remember, it only was about the coverage of my hand. This goes quite a bit farther, but not as far as the top smart, and it also doesn't have that lace front. So if you're, someone who has thinning here right up at the hairline and if it's difficult for you to blend in traditional hair toppers, then the top smart wavy would be a better choice than the top wave. But if you have really full hair - and you want - you know to be able to have the most natural looking hairline by you know, using some of your own natural hair, then the top wave and the easy part xl are going to be great choices for you. So, as you can see, the hair topper that's right, for you is really going to depend on your level of hair loss and where you want that coverage the most. If you want to add length, as well as volume and body, then you're going to want something with a lot of coverage. If you just want a little bit to supplement some volume and some style, then something like the easy part or even the easy part xl are going to be great options for you. I did put a link in the description to all of the hair toppers that i showed you today, as well as my go-to products for both synthetic and human hair toppers. If you enjoyed this video, please please, please give it a thumbs up, and if you want to hear more about hair toppers how to wear them, what they look like or reviews, definitely check out this playlist right here. Thank you so much for joining me today. I can't wait to see you next week.

The Wiggy Woman: What are you looking to get from your hair topper? Length? Volume? Style? Thin Hair Coverage? Let's chat about it!

Silk or Lace: Love this, so informative and you have such an infectious smile! Toppers are such a great jump into the hair world as immediately buying a wig can be a shock. We always say that a solid silk top hair topper is a great beginner piece because they are easy to work with and give the most realistic looking scalp!

Angela Burns: I have thyroid issues and my hair is thinning a lot recently. Especially in my part and temple areas. So I would love something that looks natural but gives me volume. By the way this was so helpful! Thank you!

Lynn Ohrel: My hair has been baby fine my entire life. A topper would be perfect for me.

Shannon Schneider: You are so dang cute!! This is exactly the info I need. I have purchased 2 hair toppers and sent them back because I just didn't know what I needed. It's kinda scary ordering one without being able to try it first because they are not cheap!! I will give it another shot. Thank you!

Beth Booker: Thanks for this. I found you through Heather Land. I'm just starting out looking for a topper. I don't really want to do anything much more than covering what's no longer there. I just wish it was easier to find mixed gray wigs. My hair is brown with gray, and I'm not interested - really - in trying to cover the gray up any more. I did that until about 9 years ago when it just became too much trouble. So, I decided to just let it grow out. But now, after a lot of stress, my hair has thinned so much I can feel a cool breeze up top. I wrote all of this to ask if you know of a place/site that has a version of more what my hair looks like. I'd prefer it to look real, not synthetic. Thanks for any help! :)

Melanie Deardorff: Helpful — thank you for showing so many options!

Vin: This is a very helpful video for me. Thank you so much!

Cindy MB: Are there any integration toppers you can show us? I like the finer, string wefts. thank you

Gloria Lagroon: Happy Friday beautiful! I liked all of the toppers and they all look really nice on you. I know I've mentioned that you have a cute bio hairstyle before. But I really think you have good hair and I love your it! I've never tried hair toppers. I have natural curly hair. Of course I can flat iron it so it can kinda match a topper. Also it will be hard to match my own color to where it wouldn't be noticable. That's why I don't think I'm a good canidate for hair toppers. Lol! Loving you eyeshadow look again and your top is cute! ☺❤

Donna Pascual: My hair looks like yours , I just started a new biological treatment and it’s caused my to have many bald spots. Should grow back but‍♀️ My hair is white it the front and brown towards the sides and back. It’s approximately 20 inches long For a topper: Can you send me in the right direction please ?

KlassyKat45: I like the first one and the 4th one. Looking for a new topper without having to pay an arm and a leg for one as I did before and wasn't completely happy with. If anyone knows of any Canadian companies where I can find these or similar ones that would be appreciated.

Linda Fernandez-Mathews: This was very helpful . I have long hair and just need coverage at the hair line and front . Do these work well with long hair so that it doesn’t show ?

Darklight Tarot: I'm wondering if a person can get a long topper if they have short hair? Thankyou for this video I just watched the bit where you put the long one on. Answers the question. It looks so pretty

Jena Coker: Hey there! I have thyroid issues and medication side effect issues that cause thinning hair and hair loss. My hair loss is mostly in the front hairline and across the crown. I would like to get a hair topper that would give me volume and would give me volume LOL! When I was in high school I had very long voluminous thick gorgeous hair then everything changed. And once I hit. Menopause everything really changed. Now when I take a shower and shampoo my hair handfuls of hair will come out. I decided on the Easifringe 12" HD by Easihair Clip in Bang Color 33-Dark Auburn...I hope I made the right decision. Thanks so much!

Beth Glass: I was hoping to see a topper that didn't have medium or longer hair. A short hair topper is what I'd like to see.

Jazz Freak: I prefere Human Hair ; for a more realistic look and feel; synthetic has to much shine

Page Smelser: I need to get a topper but, I have so many questions. (1) most of the hair toppers I see is longer then my hair. Can you cut the hair topper ? A lot of the hair toppers I like are longer then my hair. (2) What is the best human air topper to buy in 2021 ? I’m so scare I’m going to buy a topper that isn’t going to work for me. Thank you for all your videos and time you put into teaching us. Love ya Have a blessed day.

Pooja Patel: Does it smell bad after use or can we clean it after using it? Can you please let me know about these two things?

Mel: thank you….finally I learned how to use a hair topper. If you have thin hair though do the clips keep it on?

Esther Poon: I have hard time of finding a topper with dark brown or natural black with 30-40% grey to match my own hair color. I don't want to color my hair to match the toppers anymore. I have thinning hair amount as much as you do, i just want to add a minimal volumn and have it look naturely. i want to keep my hair short too. So a 6“ -8"wiglet will work for me. any suggestion?

MyMusiclover28: Those toppers look great on you, except the last one. Very wiggy. For my hair situation, I need to use lace front toppers as my hairline is very thin. I have some of Jon Renau’s toppers but my favorite is the one from Raquel Welch. Her toppers have very realistic hairlines. Ty for this video!

Sherry Flowers: I've tried wigs and think maybe I should try toppers. I have stopped coloring my hair which is now mostly gray so will not be able to wear a HH topper as they are not available in grays. My intent is to wear my hair up. Can you tell me what I should be looking for? It needs to be long enough to put up with full coverage in the back (not wispy strands). Not sure if I need a lace front or not. Typically, lace fronts do not tend to lay flat on at my hairline so have to use glue with them. Thin Hair Thick brand has a elastic band around the back so that eliminates that brand. My bio hair is currently almost shoulder length but long enough to pull up in the back to combine with a longer topper that blends with my gray hair. What do I need to know in order to wear a topper in a up-do? I am also concerned that gray synthetic toppers are going to look fake because of the shine. Yes, I've used dry shampoo and they still have a shine.

Jill Murray: Need a topper with natural looking hairline, be able to excercise in it and sweat, have a natural wave or curl that stays all day. Feels like a unicorn!!

Dondra McCleese: Can you tell me where you bought the 12in topper?

Risa Quiles: I’m attending my daughters wedding I want my hair totally pulled up in a bouffant style hairdo, but I don’t think I have enough hair. Will this fix my problem?

Cindy Terrell: Thank you this was very helpful! Those eyelashes look so heavy and I’m just curious why women wear them so thick? You look so pretty in all the toppers

brooks269: Great video! Thanks so much!

Zoila Negro: I really need help with this because I have bought topper a wig but I am not satisfy after watching your video I can see it is not easy.....I am very thin in front I would need lace front for sure very low density because it looks more natural, plus easy part, full coverage like top wave style but you haven't show one like that I am in my late 70 the length 10" has to be human hair and the most difficult is to find the right color my is brown but there is a lot shades of brown... is so complicated I would really appreciate your answer and plus you haven't mention prices...I want to know the range in price too.

Destiny & Dana's Wedding Gift: You're an absolute doll...

Alba Perez: Wave but not too much waves. Blond eith highlights and not short but not long. Thank you!!

catherine Marks: I can’t find a video that goes over Russian or Slavic fine hair toppers/wigs for thin /thinning hair. The Asian hair is too thick

MARYANN and GREGG BALIN: Hello looking for lightweight human hair topper. My own length is about 17 to 18 inches and is dark brown. Thanks;)

Joy Johnson: My hair is thinning out at the top of my head I am new and would like to know more about it

lea neckel: you look amazing in all those hairstyles also the video was super helpful

kasia Borowicz: Is this Top Wave human hair or synthetic? Xx

Linda Fernandez-Mathews: Can these be colored to match my hair

Annette Campo: I joined the Facebook support group for well, support. While most people were great, I had someone tell me to "Calm Down!" And that I needed to get over it. I immediately dumped out of the group before I said something horrible back, but now I don't know where to go for support. Any suggestions???

Asia Levystone: Thank You for your videos. What is the FB group?

Francine Labreche: J’aimerais savoir où je peut acheter au Canada Montréal Svp

V See: The first topper already needs A topperl

lisa PO:

Lilian Pineda: Hi,,, Necesito un Topper rubio dorado . Contésteme para ordenar ,Quiero de human hair

megan kelly: How does one deal with a widows peak?

TwundragonK: How can i order that 8inches topper

Miss Rose: Is it hot wearing the topper?

Claudia Lyon: Do they itch I tried some wigs they were horrible. I have never tried on a topper.
