Uniwigs Claire Hair Topper For Thin Hair- Wavy

Hey everybody, okay, so I have a really cool review for you today. Some of you guys are probably well aware of the company. Sorry shakin around here the company unit, wigs, and they have recently come to me and asked me to do a review on their latest clear piece. They have a new and improved clear piece and, and they actually have a wavy one. Now now, when I opened this - and I looked at it first - I'm going to show you guys, I think of it more as curly than wavy and my hair is not curly. It'S it's straight. Bye, bye! You know my natural way of of life um, but I do love good curls on some of my toppers and my wig. So when I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised by the curl. I mean it is a nice if you have naturally curly hair. This topper is going to be great for you, this is its natural state. This is air dried. All I did was put a little bit of Moroccan oil in it and I let it air dry. So this is the curl that you get from just letting this baby air dry. So it's a very, very nice tight curl, it's not a looser wave. It is more of a tight curl and I did talk to some of the higher-ups at unit wigs and they did say that they are coming out with more of a wavy than curly. So, but those of you that are wanting a curly or have been looking for a curly, the price range of this is really nice. It'S I think, like in the 200s and cool thing. I believe they're starting an Easter sale, and so all of the toppers are going to be on sale this next week. So this is like the perfect time if you've been wanting to get a topper in the lower kind of price range. You know wigs is great for that, and you guys know that I have shared many many of toppers I've tried everything out there. I have all different toppers. I have ones that are less expensive, like the wigs and then I have ones that are more expensive, like Lauren Ashton and my High Line wigs ones. They all have. You know different appeals to people, but I think that you know wigs are great for people that are just starting with Stoppers or wigs, and that are kind of scared to you know: try something and don't want to spend a bunch of money. I think that that's where you know wigs comes in and is great. This is a hundred percent human hair topper. It is remy hair. They have now increased the density of their Claire, which I like, because I know a lot of people were having issues with kind of some of the pieces being scarce, but this piece right here has a lot of hair, so I cannot complain about the hair on This at all, the hair is a good quality. The curl is nice, it doesn't have too much frizz. The base of this is a monofilament top, so this is monofilament. It did come with lace on the front which I cut and I'll do another video on how to cut that. The best way to cut the lace is you want to cut it as close as possible to that hairline? So it looks the most natural and it has the clips all the way around the no-slip clips. So it is a very comfortable piece and the part on this is very natural. Now I will probably go through and tweeze some of this part to kind of widen it a little bit, but this is a very, very nice monofilament top for a good price range so especially with the sale that's going on. I would definitely encourage courage. You guys to M get one of these next week. You don't have to do wavy, they also come in straight. They come in a silk base as well, which I'll be doing a review on soon, so you can upgrade to a silk base. They can do custom. Colors, but I just want to show you guys this one in its natural state, so this is my hair. I do have some hair powder on today, so unfortunately you know you don't get to see my baldness and all of its glory, but I have a you know: pretty bad hair loss. I'Ve struggled with it all my life and now I don't have to struggle anymore because I found toppers and I love my toppers. So I think that this piece is fun because it's curly and it's sassy and it's something that I typically don't wear. But I kind of like that that factor of like wow and making people be like. Oh what you do different to your hair. I kind of like to just put myself out there and people know that I wear these pieces, so I'm kind of the person - that's like you know what screw it. I'M gon na wear fun pieces. So when I put these on, I always start with my my natural part and I always kind of comb down my front. I always put some hair powder in so this. I do have some topics in right now. You can see my roots have not been touched up in a while, but that's the beauty of wearing Stoppers is. I don't have to color my hair as much anymore and that's fabulous, because it's basically like just walking out the door with a hat on um okay. So I always start with my Clips open and I line up my part and always when you're working with this guy's, it's going to feel unnatural at first, it's going to feel weird. You have to work with it. You can't just pull these out of the box and plop them on your head and expect it to look amazing. So I line up my part, and once I have that part lined up, I just kind of go around and gently lift up and tighten all of those clips. Okay, what I do like about this piece is the front, because it is all lace it. It does. Lay nice and flat, but I am the thinnest right here around my front so sometimes when I have clips up here, they pull and they tug and then I end up getting a little bit of that traction alopecia. So on this piece I don't think I'm going to add an extra clip. If anything, what I will do is, I will use the got to be glue to kind of it's not a glue, but it's a hair gel to kind of tack that down a little bit, but I want to show you guys this in its natural state. Okay, I have cut this one. This is curly, so if you want a nice fun curly look, this is super cute okay, so this is from the side and then we've got the back. So it's that great coverage back here, because I do have hair loss back here as well. So this is just a really fun: sassy curly! Sorry, I'm trying not to show you guys too much cleavage and piece right here and so to make it look more natural. I always pull out just a little bit of my hair right there and you can see that even I like to have a little bit of my gray coming through, because I do feel like when I have some of that gray coming through, like nobody's going to Know that that's not natural, that that's not real, so you know you can play with this. You can put it in a bunch of different styles, and I, like I, use like a little bit of like a Moroccan oil, this one's a chi one to kind of keep the curls tamed. You can put a little bit of that on your hair and kind of go through this, the key with these curly ones, though you don't want to mess with them too much, because the more that you comb it, the more that you mess with it, the more That you do things to it. The frizzier is going to get so I always keep the Moroccan oil handy and then I also love these kind of dry texture spray, and this one is by Moroccan oil too, but these ones are fun because it just kind of gives you a little bit more Mess in there and it kind of gives you a little bit more grit. So if you're the type like me, they like big hair. This is going to give you a little bit more fun big hair. So I think the curls on this are just I mean they're fun, it's you know something that I'm not used to wearing and I love it. If you want the curl to be a little bit less and a little bit tame down, you can always take a flatiron too, and I'm just going to show you guys how I do this um, but with this one you know I the fun part of it Is I want to be able to wear the curliness to it, but if you think the curls are a little bit too much for certain days, you can take a flatiron and go through with a flat iron, and I just kind of twist my curls just like That and it will flatten out the curl just a little bit okay, so let me show you how you do that. Take it from the root twist just a little bit and it will kind of flatten that curl out, and so, if you don't want it as super curly, you can go through the whole head and do this that's the beauty of human hair pieces is that you Can style them? However, you want - and you can wear them like that and tell the your next wash - and I wear my pieces for like literally like 10 to 15 times before, even wash it and you don't have to wash human hair too much and I switch out my pieces. So much that is great but see that just kind of got rid of some of the too curly. So if I wanted to go around and do that on the entire head, it's going to tame it down a little bit and not be as curly. But I do love the curls, so I think that I'm going to wet this back down and let the curl come through because it's just a totally different fun. Unique look. Sorry, you guys know I kind of break out and in redness, sometimes when I'm in front of the camera, I don't know why I still get. I still get nervous in front of y'all but yeah.
