Hello, everyone and my name is Alice for those of you who are stumbling across me for the first time and for those of you, who've already watched some of my videos on my journey hello again welcome back, I'm really happy to be able to do this. Video for you guys and uh yeah, so we'll just get started with all the good stuff. So unibig's reached out to me again recently and asked if I would like to collaborate um. The piece that they had in mind for me was another Courtney, but in a different color. So for those of you who might not have already seen what a Courtney topper is um, it looks a little like this, so this is the inside of the cap, which is a seven by eight, and it's got this small piece here, which is like a mono Parting and then you've got the this. One actually has five Clips, but my last card we only had four um, which is no bother to me. The clip sits in a slightly different place to my other top of my other Courtney topper. I imagine that, as these are probably sewn on by hand, it can vary, but it's not really a problem. It'S actually kind of beneficial because they're in a slightly different place. So when I go between the two corners, I'm not putting the Clips in the same place every time this color is the mousse Brown I'm kidding. I think it's mousy brown, but I just I can't help but call it moose brown but yeah. I think it's the multi Brown so I'll link in the details, exactly what the color combination is here, but for me, it really is kind of the brown looks almost like my other topper, which I think was like an espresso brand. You know sort of a kind of darkish brown, but with some sort of like golden turns in and then I'm not quite sure what the blonde is. But if I hold it up closer to the camera, because what I found with blonde Toppers and Browns that have some warmth in they kind of really react to light, and sometimes they can appear quite golden. So, as you can see, when I move it in different places, it kind of changes the goldness. So if I come back a bit, you kind of can see the darkness the dark turns in there um, and I think that this probably like from this color here. This is the most like what the color is meant to be um, mostly when I'm out and stuff and when I take pictures and things - and I see it back, it does look darker, but as obviously you come up a bit closer, it does seem a bit Lighter but that's the beauty of blondes and warmths, I think you know you want you get a different colored hair every day. I love this. Topper really love the color. As you can see, it is a lot darker uh, I'm a lot darker than this particular piece, but back in my experimental days with my hair, when I had bio hair, more hair extensions, I actually used to dye my hair exactly this color, so it was so Exciting to be able to kind of reminisce and have a different hair color without having to dye my hair. Since my hair loss journey, I have completely quit dyeing my hair, so it's been about three years just to give you an example of what we're working with um. Yes, just my hair has just been washed, so it does look really kind of fluffy, but as you can see, it's still really good really thin. On top around the back and then this little piece decided it wants to go on holiday. Hopefully, it'll come back soon, but hey her. We live on, so I'm going to show you how I put on my topper um in your box from uniwigs. You do get a little selection of treats um, so one of those being, if I can find it in my drawer, is a little packet of these. So I believe this is like a scar tape and I've already used two of these, because I had to try it out on my other can't they got to you know and see, and um they're really really good, they're kind of like squidgy as well. They'Re really interesting material, so this is obviously to give your monitor your monopartin a bit more of a realistic look and, as you can see, you can kind of see through that. And if I come right up close, you can kind of see some knots and things that they aren't the most realistic part. But to be honest, even without the scar tape, I don't think they're that bad. So what the idea is, is you get the scar tape and it is just about the width of this piece here and kind of covers the majority of that, so I'm gon na go and take it out of the packet and make a mess, and then you Kind of peel it away from that. Oh it's so weird! It is really really strange. It'S kind of like fleshy um, so yeah. This is going to be really difficult. So then, I'm gon na put it onto this piece here. So I'm gon na have to do this down here because I'm just gon na end up with it stuck to all my hair. So there we go so it looks like this and then, when you turn it around, as you can see, and that's not my skin look like it's not see through that. If I hold it up against something there, it just gives it such a good, realistic. Look. I really really like it and um you don't feel it when it's on it stays on for ages. So, with regards to putting my topper on dry shampoo, I will show you the brand, because it's not sponsored okay, so my hair is really soft and slipping, and it's just not going to hold anything right now, so feel it to be true. So I'll just give it a quick little bro, always start at the bottom and work your way up, never just go all in. That is an absolute! No! No, but I'm sure everybody knows how to push it. So I wear mine a little different. My hair is really fine and fragile at the front, so I really try and stay away from using these particular clips. One thing: I've been learning um to use and I'm pretty good at now is Velcro. So these little things - and you can probably see me - do it on another video already you can buy these just on eBay um. It is um what they call Baba's velcro and it's really great. It'S um a little bit rough at first, because obviously velcro is like a little bit prickly, but one little life hack that I'll teach you is put it through. The washing machine in a pair of jeans and obviously in the fabric condition fabric conditioner will soften them. So that um, it doesn't feel as spiky on your head there. So all you do pop open these two front clips and you're just gon na get I've just cut them in half, obviously, because they do come quite long and I'm just gon na pop it in here just in there just by the corner of it just so. It looks like that, and just one on that side as well, and then these are gon na kind of grip on to like quite a good majority of your hair around here and act as the clips that you've not got in. So one more thing. I need to do is just to sweep over give myself a little comb over just like this, and I'm going to pop the other Clips up until they're ready to secure and we just kind of get it like this flip it over and align it up. I'M going to do this in the mirror because it is super difficult and gum, so I've got a little freckle and that's like my little guide. So what I do then, is I just there's no clips I've not engaged any Clips yet so I'm just pushing down. I'M kind of wiggling the velcro into place, pull it back a little bit, Jiggle It Around you'll need to push down and be firm. Otherwise, if you jiggle back, it's gon na just bottle off your head and then I just hold my hand in place. Just while I secure the back clips that's on. If I just give it a little tug, you can see it's not going anywhere because that velcro is just holding on for dear life. So let's see how this works with my dark hair then brush through and there we go. So, as you can see, it Blends in absolutely perfectly with all my hair through here, ignore the grays. Obviously my hair is a little more ashier um, just with it being like a natural hair. Color, there's a little more warmth to this topper, but you don't need to be blonde and you don't need to have highlighted hair to be able to wear a color like this. And if I just sit back a little bit, you can see the color a little more and I kind of like the way that the highlights are laced. It'S almost a little bit like a money piece. I really like that, and obviously with having Angelica androgenetic alopecia, and I have been super fragile and fine. I can't risk for me personally going and having some um highlights done. It'S just I. I just feel like it's just going to damage my hair far too much. So having this option to be able to wear a Topper of this color and it'd be ready to go, and it's still to work, even though my hair is so dark like it's amazing, I can't fault this color at all. It'S absolutely beautiful, so yeah this is it and I love it and the color is beautiful. Let'S get some diva
