Wildflower Hair Uk Hair Topper Review | Neveen Wood

Hello and welcome to my channel i'm naveen wood and in today's video i'm going to be reviewing and talking about my new, a wildfly hair uk hair topper, which i ordered off of silkerlace.com. If you're interested in finding out what i thought of it, i got more info seeing all the stuff about it, stay tuned and i'll jump right in so yeah. This topper i purchased from the brand wildflower hair, which is a uk based hair, uh brand. That does um hair, toppers, lovely hair, toppers and gorgeous wigs um, but i did order it off silk or lace.com. If you're not familiar with silk or lace, it's a marketplace: that's online, created and run by saran, also known as the strandy who was one of the first people i encountered during my search for a hair topper and any info relating to alternative hair. Her website and instagram helped me so much in figuring out what i was looking for over a year ago, so i would definitely recommend checking her out both her instagram and her website. Soaker lace really is just marketplace for hair toppers and wigs from various awesome brands. They also sell accessories for your alternative hair too, so check that out too there's also a hair finder tool, which i thought was really cool, where you could do a custom search with filters for hair color length, construction type. You can also have it send you an alert when a piece fitting your requirements is listed on the site, which is pretty awesome, especially with some hair toppers. They can sell out so quickly from some certain brands. Wildflower, hair uk is one of the brands sold on silker lace or you can purchase directly from the waffler hair uk website if you'd prefer i'll leave all the links down below. If you want to check them out, i did not incur any customs charges by ordering a wildflower piece from silker lace to the uk, since it was shipped from the uk um all of wildflower hare's packaging is made from 100 recycled or sustainable materials, which is pretty Awesome i'll leave a picture on the screen of what the packaging looked like when it arrived for me because, obviously after i received it, i kind of tore it apart. You know opening it to see what's inside, but that's what the box looked like and how it arrived with the nice little ribbon and the card on it, and this is what the inside looked like. It came with a big bag or hair bag, alternative hair bag with the wildfire hair, uh name on the front. I have another topper in there right now, because i alternate my toppers and one of the ones i own came in a box and i like i like keeping them in these little bags, so they fit more neatly in my uh setup. So right now there's another topper in there, but it's a really nice bag and really great for traveling with your piece, also comes with a care card, with information on how to care for your topper and everything you need to know now about the topper itself. It'S called hazel, the color is described as being between a three and a four which i would agree with. My natural hair is between a two and a three, so it is a bit darker, but i always like to go for various shades of brunettes because i just it is what i like you know, but it's up to you what you want to go for, but Um yeah it's between a three and a four. The density is described as a medium density. I would also agree with that. It is uh feels like a medium density and it's an 8x8 silk top cap 21 inches long and european hair. This is one of my. I think this is my first or my second european hair piece. I'Ve owned and the hair texture is incredibly fine. Incredibly soft, the texture of the hair is very similar to my own natural hair, because my hair is very thin, very fragile, very fine as well. So i'm i'm really happy with this hair um. The one thing with european great european great hair is that, because it's so thin and fine, it is or can be more prone to tangling. When you're like on the go, you know from friction and your collar and on your jackets or your coats and that sort of thing, so what i like to do is carry a brush with me or a comb. This one is my belletress um. I also own. So it's similar to the one like the jon renau one. Any brand will do i'll, just throw this in my purse. I have one of these, like in all my bags and everywhere in the house, pretty much and they work wonders at detangling or this travel wet brush. They come in like various colors and it pulls out like this and it comes like a little mirror and stuff. So it's really nice as well. I like this for traveling and i'm a fan of the wet brushes and stuff for my fine hair as well so yeah. So basically, just carry one of these in your bag and don't just like read through it, but when you're out about just hold on to the hair where the tangle is and gently comb through it. You should be fine not that this hair is prone to like severe tangling or anything, it's just something that can happen with european hair, because it's such a fine, thin texture that it can happen. You know yeah, so i'm going to quickly show you the back to show you how much it covers in the back of my head, and this is what it looks like from the back um. She does sell higher density pieces. So if you have quite a bit of loss in the back, i would recommend going for a piece like that you could always have the front thinned out um, but i think this is. This is a good amount of coverage. I mean it's good for me. My loss, i have endogenic alopecia, so my hair loss is mostly on the parting and on the top, so i'll show you in a moment when i take off my topper and show you the inside of the cap, but this is the kind of coverage. Hopefully this helps i forgot to mention also the cut on this topper. It does come with um a bit of layers as well, which i enjoy, because then i don't have to set it off to go, get it done myself. The front isn't top it's not front heavy at all, so the hair doesn't hang on my face as much as like, for example, my luster does and did and still does a bit. I did get it thinned out, but it's so much hair that i still kind of get that issue going on so once lockdown is over, i'm going to go and get it thinned out in the front a little bit more. If you know because it's hanging like over the front of my face, but this one doesn't have that issue too much and it's it's - you know comfortable. I mean it just feels nice. So the one thing with this topper and it's probably the only negative. But it's a temporary negative really is that when i first got this topper, the clips were very rough like they were rough to open and rough to close, but with opening them and closing them and wearing it regularly for a good amount of time. The clips did soften up and they're as comfortable as my other um clips on my other toppers. So keep that in mind. I don't know if that's just with my piece, you know but um. If you do get a piece from waffle, hair and the clips are a little bit rough, just with wear just general wear and opening and clothing, they do soft it up and they get more comfortable. I always use texturizing spray on my bio hair, anyways to kind of help with um the clipping in and the comfort level. Okay, i'm gon na take off the hair topper now and show you what i'm dealing with underneath and show you the inside of this cap. Okay, so this is my natural hair. Like i mentioned in other videos, i have androgenic alopecia female pattern: hair loss. My hair loss is mostly in the parting area and i don't know if you can see uh my hair is freshly washed. I am i did. I do have texturizing spray in my hair, so hopefully you can see what i'm dealing with. If not, you can see it in other videos for another, my hair toppers, i showcase my scalp, but my hair is pretty fine, thin and scraggly, and here is the top of the hair topper. It is a silk top 8 by 8 cap and here's the inside there are six clips pressure clips um on three on each side. This is the little wildflower here, so i think she's changed the um tag on the hairy topper since i purchased mine and it's really cute and there's a comb on the top which you can remove, but i generally just keep mine on in case. I want to add velcro. I could just slide it in kind of under there and yeah that's for another video, but i just keep the comb on there, but if you prefer, you can always remove it. I i just keep mine in there. It'S just uh. Sometimes i use them. Sometimes i don't most of the time i don't, but if the knee ever rises, it's there for me to use the cap is nice um, and this is the hair very soft and the color is gorgeous it's between a three and a four kind of a warm Toned brown - and here it is compared to my very dark between a two and a three hair, but you know what it works. I like going a bit lighter. Sometimes i go exactly match. I do have toppers that are exact matches. I have toppers that have highlights, and sometimes i'm in the mood for a bit of light hair and because the density and how much hair in the length it pretty much camouflages my hair underneath so yeah, but all in all, i would definitely recommend a wildflower hairpiece. I was really happy and excited to find a uk brand that i could purchase some hair toppers from because, as i'm sure i live in the uk, so anyone else that lives in the uk or overseas from the brand that they order. As i'm sure you're aware, customs are, just charges are just getting worse and worse, as time goes on. It feels like i don't know if that's like a if that's true or not, but it feels like it from my point of view, at least from ordering toppers overseas um and i've ordered for the us and australia, and it can be quite rough in terms of Customs charges, even though the pieces are gorgeous and totally worth it, in my opinion, at least the ones you know i, like i've loved, so it's nice to find one more close to home that i enjoy the pieces from. I have my eye on the color primrose. Next, possibly that color looks right up my alley, so fingers crossed i'll get that one like that. Soon, anyways yeah, i mean it's, it's a struggle with customs, but it's nice to find a uk brand that i enjoy. I also ordered from another uk brand and website that i found on instagram that i heard great things from other people. I follow on instagram and i'll be doing a video on that one, hopefully soon once i've warner worn it for a good amount of time. I like to do my reviews after i've like washed the piece and worn it some good time. You know and get a good feel for it before i like, throw out a youtube review, which is why it's a little bit. You know i take some time before i go on camera record. What i think of it i'll keep you guys updated on this piece on another video in a few months time to tell you how it's faring. Oh, it's um handling. You know the day-to-day wear, especially with summer coming up and yeah. I imagine it's gon na be really hot out there. This year, i've had a few people. I also do one for my synthetic hair.
