Hello everyone! In today's video I share my first impressions as well as a small review of the Hope Hair topper by UniWigs. UniWigs kindly gifted this hair topper for me to try out (this video is however not sponsored) and after trying it out for 3 weeks I am slowly starting to "get a hang of it". I think a hair topper is a great solution if you are feeling extremely insecure with your thin hair. All of us thin haired girls have those days when we just "can't deal" and for those days I feel like this topper could really help you out and be a good option. Its also fun to just play around with. Please remember though that feeling confident with who you are, with thin or thick hair, is however the most important thing and you should always strive to work on that.

Hi everybody and welcome to my channel in my last video. I think you saw that I was wearing a hair topper and I was also talking about how my hair is getting very thin lately and there's just something going on. Probably something to do with stress. That is making my hair become, thinner and thinner, which yes is quite annoying, but you know we're living with it. I actually just washed my hair today, so it looks nice and clean and I think, to be honest, I kind of like the look today. So it's all alright. Nonetheless, I was wearing a hair topper and I also said I wanted to talk about it in a separate video and uni wigs, so kindly sent me this topper for me to try out, and I of course do wan na share it with you guys as well. I know a lot of you found my videos through my thin hair videos, and for that reason I really feel like this could be something that might help some of you out now. I just want to make blue loud and clear that I think, first and foremost, it is so so important to learn to love yourself, learn to accept the changes that are happening in your body and accept and understand that our body has different ways of showing. If we're stressed, if we have like, if we're vitamin deficient or mineral deficient or something like that, that usually you're losing hair or you have hair loss or your nails are brittle or your skin or whatever it probably has a lot to do with. What'S in the inside or stress or what you're eating or anything like that, and you know we go through things like this - it's just kind of normal and just make sure to try and find out what could be the reason see some doctors or whatever, and also, If you just have naturally thin hair like I do, even though it's thinner than normally right now learn to accept it, learn to love it and learn to just be okay with it, because no amount of topper or wig or hair extensions ever going to make. You feel better about that, in fact, if you get too addicted to it, I think it can also make things seem worse, because I'm just going to link a couple of my videos down below about how to be confident with your thin hair and things love about Your thin hair and stuff like that so go check them out if you haven't already, but a lot of you guys also mentioned to me that your hair is thinning due to some medical reasons or whatnot, where it can feel very frustrating, of course, because you're not Exactly sure, when it's going to go back in these cases, I do feel like a hair, topper or a wig or hair extensions, for that matter could be something that works for you and could be a lifesaver or just be like a source of confidence. For the time being and that's why I want to share this product with you, because I just don't want anybody to go around feeling unconfident with their thin hair feeling like you're, not beautiful, because you are and if something like this can just make you help. You feel more confident that I feel like it's something to invest on for the time being, so that, before you figure out what will be causing the hair loss or stuff like that or if you have thin hair like me. Naturally, then, maybe it's just something fun to do every now and then so I can't do a whole first impressions because I have been trying this out for the last two or three weeks. I'Ve been trying to learn how to blend it and I'm really have still little clue on how to best do it. So it is definitely going to be a first impressions in the sense that I don't 100 % know how to best use it yet. But I have unboxed it and I have done something to the topper already, but I'll show it to you as well as I can from beginning on. So it comes in a box like this when you get it, and I personally just had the topper in there. So it was in a hairnet already, and this looks so funny. This is the B hair topper that I have so it kind of looks like a wig, it's just, but it is like just a clip-on thing that you put on the top of your head. Basically, a hair topper is for me an amazing option because I have very thin hair, so have used hair extensions before, but there's just no way I can blend the clips in because my hair is so thin so that if it just winds a bit, it's windy. A bit my hair goes away and you can see the clips that are in my hair, so I have the Hope: synthetic mono topper this is an 8.5 x, 9 inch topper. Sorry, I come from Europe, so interests are very, I'm not used to them. So I'll. Just have to put in the screen below, if I can, I can get the centimeters, but it is a us-based company, so I'm from the USA, you could understand me somewhat so little since synthetics hopper. So this is not real human hair, which was one of the reasons I was actually very nervous to actually try it out, because I thought okay can that even look natural here it says it's 16 inch thin length and the color is 24 B 18 t so Butterscotch is what they would describe this, and at least with me. The one who was the person who was in contact with me was very nice and I actually allowed me to send her a picture so that they could choose the best fit for me, and I think it might not look like that now. But I do think this is the best fit for me that looks most natural as well. I do also have a coupon code for you guys. If you are interested, it is 15 % off from your purchase, so I'll leave that down in the comments down below. If, by during any time of this video, you feel like it's something that you would be interested in, go ahead and use that one, it's gon na kind of show you how I use it at the moment, and there are different ways and everyone. I think that differently, and maybe something is more right than the others. I just kind of feel like it depends on what kind of hair you do have so me having very thin hair. There are different ways that I can use this, which still looks always relatively natural. Now, there's two options that I do sometimes because, as you can see, this is pretty much completely straight, except for a couple of waves on the bottom and my hair is kind of whatever you can call it pearly. So I do sometimes straighten it and then leave it open, but also what I do do sometimes is I close my hair like this. I also try to see where my middle is I'm going to use the camera as a little mirror right now to have it be relatively straight, I would say then I closed it up so that I can still easily open my hair afterwards. I think this is something that maybe for many people it's going to be better. If you just have your hair open and you know straighten it or just kind of have it somehow blend in with your natural hair completely. But I think, as you can see, this is my hair, all of it it's so thin that it really doesn't matter too much if I straighten it or not and in my opinion, having it close like serving it out with closing at first, it helps the topper Stay on a little bit better, okay, so then you have the topper. Now, usually in the front there will be a net that will be up to here, which you have to cut off, and you do, in my opinion, have to cut it pretty near to the hairline. Now I had a little problem with that because, in my opinion, that just didn't make the hair look so natural. So I have a couple of pictures where I then use it right in front has a hairline which is supposed to look a little bit natural, but for me as much as it sort of did it just also didn't look natural enough. So I was researching a little bit of what you could do to make. It look a little bit better and I don't know from where anymore, but from somewhere I saw that someone had like cut a little V onto the middle to just make it blend a little bit better. The thing is, I think I might have done something wrong or not done it completely right or I should still cut it a little bit more to make it look even more natural. I feel like it does help a little bit, because I'm going to show you how I use it, but it's one thing. I definitely still need to make a little bit better because it's not really helping the thing blend in too well, especially on the top of my hair. Video might seem long and it might actually seem like it takes a long time to do this, but I'm actually what I love about this right now. The most is that it's so easy to put on here. You have it all. The clips are open and then Isis go on. I am NOT doing this with the mirror by the way right now, so this is going to be hard, so I just put it on and I put the cut which I have. I try to put it as close to my hairline as possible, and the thing that I don't do is I don't go all the way in front, so I do leave a little bit of room for my natural hair. This might be already a bit too much in the front because I don't have a mirror. I'M just going to go with the flow here and to put the ones in the back. You just hold it tight here and then it stretches a little bit the material. So that it really like, looks flat on your hair, the reason I don't put it right in front is because I want my natural hair and natural hair line to be visible. I also do put it quite a lot in front because it tends to slide back throughout the day a little bit so just to make sure that it doesn't slide like too much. Personally, it doesn't look natural either and yeah see ha, and then you just go to a rock concert and you rock and roll. So I'm just going to I clipped all the clip ease together or closed and I'm just going to now brush it in keep in mind that my hair is still closed at the back. I just want to get this front piece here, sorted out a little bit to make it look as natural. As I can't then, what I do is I actually open my ponytail that I just had so there you see how quick that was actually to put on, like initially actually doesn't take a long time now, like I said, I don't know what it actually really looks Like I have my mirror here and then so, the middle is blended in very well at all. To be honest, I think I'm just gon na go off camera and put the topper on again a little bit better. But at least you see a little bit of the first impressions of how easy it is to put on okay guys. So I went to just adjust it in fact, a little bit, it's actually it's okay. I do feel like I just need to work on the blending part a little bit well and because I just have quite a bit of hair in front. It just makes it really tough to blend. In with my hair, I just need to work on the midsection there a little bit. The thing is guys. I have I've always had such thin hair that I've never been able to play with hair. So I just have zero idea of what to do with hair, toppers and stuff, like that, like even putting on hair extensions, where at words I felt like everybody else could do it for me, was like a two hour operation to put on hair extensions. I'M just bad at it as well, so I do. I just want to give the topper and I do actually like the idea of it. I do think it will work. I also do wear it. In fact, the thing is that until I get this figured out and try to figure out how I could better blend it into my natural hair line, it's already also kind of a weird thing, because it's a little bit diagonal my natural hair line, which is just What I'm used to and what I like, but what I do do sometimes is if I wear it, especially if I will just wear a hairband so yeah, this is just like a really quick little updo. You can do it so much more nice and like have the hair come in front. In this case, I would have to straighten my natural hair and yeah. It just like looks, would look really nice. Also like this. I like the idea of a hair band as well. I don't mind it to be honest and it just like for me personally make sure that you don't see the different course you need to get used to it. You need to learn how to work it. You need to learn how to best blend it into you and, of course, you need to feel confident enough to go. Wear it outside as well, which I do. I have worn this out and I feel perfectly fine wearing it out. Just feels like much fun to be able to play around with her and yeah once you just blend it well somehow here, but in general. I do feel like this is going to help save me in some really extreme bad hair day situations which I seem to have several times a week and yeah. I don't know guys. I personally am in love with the idea of it that it can help me in my bad hair days and just even change. My look sometimes and just you know, have fun feeling like I have long hair. I do actually quite enjoy that. So I know that. Might seem weird for some of you, but if you have hair loss and you feel really not confident with it, I do suggest to you for you to try out something like this and yeah. I'M gon na do an updated, video or like get ready with me, or something like that with you guys as well, using the topper I'm going to keep on trying and learning on how I could better blend it in and stuff like that as well. So I hope I'll have a couple of new tips and tricks by then as well other than that there are loads of other videos here on YouTube about the toppers as well from people who really do amazing jobs and blending them in so I'll. Even link a couple of them below because I feel like you're gon na get really good tips from them, because I don't know - and they were geniuses like I said I've just never been good with hair anyway. So go check those out as well and don't forget about my discount code that I have down below go check it out. If you feel like you would be interested and I'll leave this video by saying yet again, remember to love yourself, remember to accept you, for who you are. If you have thin hair love it if they care and love it if you're losing hair. It'S a part of your journey and everything will be alright. Just keep going on and you know, hair is not everything in the end of the day, even though, of course it does help in making us feel beautiful, but it's not everything. In the end of the day, so I hope you guys enjoyed this video and give it a thumbs up. If you did subscribe for my channel for more videos - and I'm super excited to see you guys in my next one my mind.

Catherine Baz: Have you tried plucking the part of the topper? That will help make it look more natural, the fake look you are talking about is in part because of the high density of the hair in the part. You can pluck the hairs that are tied into the lace, it almost looks like they did not give the topper a part

Kandace Head: Your hair topper looks so natural! Blends in perfectly! At 13:58 I would have guessed that it was all your hair if I didn’t know it was a topper!

Just my thoughts: I appreciate how you tried it on right in front of us and worked through issues just like we will have to do. I haven't purchased yet (researching) but I felt your video was real and just how I'll be when I get one. thanks!

Sonia Rodriguez: Thank you for sharing ,looks great I started losing my hair my senior year in high school in 1981.I was devastated and embarrassed,I became depressed but am so glad to that now young girls see videos like yours and have hope that with ideas for their hair loss.I wear hats and sometimes wigs.

Frances Mullis: I have always had fine, straight hair, but I had thick hair. Now it's very thin due to medication (beta blockers), as well as Celiac's disease which causes a vitamin D deficiency. It's so frustrating. I would love to hear some pointers and words of encouragement. I love your videos.

Maria Yaneva: You look amazing with the topper! As for why your hair is thinning even more, have you checked your thyroid, hormones, vitamin D and if you have insulin resistance? I hope you find the reason and release all the extra stress in your life and everything will be fine <3

Bhazel McPhee: Hi Kia, thank you so much for your inspirational videos on fine and thin hair, you are so positive and really help me to feel less alone in this journey! I just found your channel and I'm loving your content. I also found the Hidden Crown Hair Extensions channel and they have some great videos about using and blending a hair topper if you are in need if some tips or advice to help with your new topper, which looks great! I know what you mean about the feeling of playing with your new long thick hair, I'm really considering getting one of these!!

Josephin K: Oh Kia, thank you so much for sharing! I can really feel you... the feeling when you are loosing your hair and you try everything and nothing helps. Can be very frustrating! Especially when you have naturally thin hair! So, you’re not alone with that feeling!!! You are very tough that you show that personal part of your life, I would never be confident enough to do that! You are a real power woman and I admire that! :) To the hair loss problem... I have no experience with that “cure” but I have seen a YouTube video of a woman who suffered hair loss as well. Her recommendation was aloe vera from Spain, I think it’s on amazon, it should be rubbed in your hair daily. But important is, it needs to be the one of Spain, not your own Aloe Vera at home because the nutritions of the plant are so different (because of the ground they are growing etc). May give it a try if you hadn’t yet? One thing I have recognized is that African women often have some extensions (e.g. for braids) and its neither their natural hair- but no one cares about it! But as a European it’s not “common” to wear wigs or extensions! Strange isn’t it! I wish it could be normal some day, for everybody! I mean you are creating illusions with make up or glue fake lashes on, why not hair? Long story short... thank you so much and I will think about you and hope your hair is going to be better, I am sure there is a solution and it’s probably not your whole life, I guess it’s a phase which will be over some day! Tons of good vibes!

DaWahine79: I think blonde hair thinning is a little “bearable” than brunette/black hair thinning, because the latter is much more obvious. Mine is pretty much like yours, but just more noticeable since I have black hair☹️

Nancy Skinner: There is a product called It Stays. It is a water based adhesive that holds the front lace tight to your scalp. It comes right off with water so you are not damaging your own hair. I have found that when the lace front in my wig lifts up even a tiny bit that I notice it. This adhesive also can take the tention off the clips. You have the exact right life philosophy. I’m an artist and know beauty when I see it. You are beautiful. I’m glad that you know it. Thank you for your videos. You just made my morning very positive.

Gary Ray: What a beautiful young woman you are! I just discovered your channel after looking for videos of the Hope topper in a light color. It looks nice on you. I think you might try pulling the hair from your hairline out with a fine tooth comb, and comb or brush your hair over the topper. This gives me the most natural and believable look with toppers and wigs. I’m much older than you, and I am wanting to find the Hope wavy topper in a gray color. Keep showing your toppers..you never know who you will help. Best wishes, Jeanelle Ray

Karen S: Our thinning is the same. I do know I have a hereditary thing going on, as my mother & grandmothers wore wigs. None of them really looked into it, so I have been exploring what might it be. I did find out I’m low thyroid, but I don’t think that’s all if it. At 47, what I’ve learned...toppers are life savers ‘ I don’t have to worry & cry about my hair every morning, trying to get ready. I am less than a year into toppers/wigs & wow...not my mom’s or gma’s wigs. They are worth it to feel better...to feel ‘normal’ again!!!! You’re beautiful, thank you.

Sarah M: Thank you for showing how to apply this topper! I'm going to order one from Uniwigs, and hopefully it will look as natural as that one looks on you.

vickie phood: That first part about self love hit me hard. Thank you for that.

Kia Lindroos: Thank you for watching! This is not a sponsored video but I do like the hair topper and enjoy wearing every now and then ;) If you are interested you can use the discount code "Kia15" for 15% off! :) Have an amazing day! <3 And skip to 3:54 if you want to go straight to the first impressions + review ;)

Jane Monroe: Practice, you will get it right and get use to it. Also, hair fiber like Cabooki sprinkled on the part really helps blending!

Laila D.: Don’t put your focus on things that you don’t like. You are so beautiful girl! ❤️

Poorva Kelkar: I got you when you said I've always had such a thin hair, I don't know to play with hair!!! You know what I love you and our hair ‍❤️‍

Love , Peace and Happiness The hair guru: I do topper videos as well and let me tell you your videos are awesome. Great content and keep up the great work

Nava Regev: Hi kia Is the coupon good for other toppers too or just for the hope topper only?

Disney65Fan: I suffer from serbatioisis dermattis and my hair is somewhat light up on top. It's not that bad but when I bend down u can see the patch and it's really embarrassing

Peaches: I think the topper looks really good on you, and your natural hair looks amazing as well! if i can say one thing, i think the colour of the hair topper is a bit off, i'm not sure what it is, but it's like a little too cold toned brown? Looks great, but i think if you're going to buy another one at some point you can get one one step blonder! :D god your natural colour is so beautiful!!!

BelleDeJour224: Love your attitude! Wearing alternative hair is great but can be quite uncomfortable. But you look amazing both ways. Also try cutting some bangs in the front on the topper that will make it blend amazing

MTA: you look so gorgeous with or without topper. thanks for the tip though mine is very thin and black which makes my bald seen even more obvious

Ananda Santana: Thank you Kia for the nice videos and ideas

chrisco: Why don't you plait or twist the front bits and use Kirby clips to pin back so it looks like its yours. Or take it to the salon and see if a hair dresser can trim it a bit so it looks less full and more shaped to your face shape and sits better so you feel its easier to apply.

Conny S.A.: Hi, could you indicate how much the topper Butterscotch synthetic hair costs ? Thanks Conny

UniWigs: Hi Love, Thanks for your great videos for UniWigs Hope topper. Hope this can help more people with thinning hair problem. Love you!

peek gniog: I've always wanted to ask you, is this your natural hair color ? cause I looove it!

Jacen Starheart: That thumbnail intro picture is very beautiful, I hope that is alright to say, take care Kia!

In Your Face!!: Have you had your thyroid checked? Having hypothyroidism is the number one reason for hair loss. The good news is, it will all grow back once you are on the right medication amounts. Please make sure you get it checked. It’s very serious if not treated.

Claudia Biviana Riordan: brave, sweet, strong and beautiful girl. You are awesome!

Counselling Psychologist Anju Vashisth: U r doing ultimate job kia

Kerri Z: Looks great and very natural. How is the coverage from the back? Any concerns?

Lilian in Africa: You look very pretty and tx goodness you are natural and also not this ridiculous over the top make up.

Jacen Starheart: Great Job Kia very well done! :)

Adaline Proulx: Hairloss can be genetic too and caused by dht which no amount of good nutrition will reverse

Jet Rey: Go on Instagram and look up highline wigs they have the best toppers and look so real. I got one recently :)

Shikwanti khokhar: U simply look beautiful with or without topper

Susan Something: Try darker eyebrow shadow on the part to blend it in

LichtAnker: You can buy a good, cheap synthetic wig for 20 Euro/Dollar and make realy easy and fast a nice hair topper of it.

Alicia Cambrils Sigala: You are so cute!!! I have really thin hair too and am not brave enough to wear a wig or topper. Happy new subscriber

Muskox Family: I just like you with your hair, your natural hair looks the best on you.

Adaline Proulx: You can take your bangs and twist it to the side and clip.

Pooja Choudhary: I have the same amount of hair like yours but my hair is of black color ....I want pixie cut but don't know whether it will look ok or not ...do you ever think to try pixie cut

Karen A Cox: You are beautiful inside and out. Thanks for sharing ⚘

Adaline Proulx: You look beautiful with this topper! You look like scarlett johansen!!

Gabrielle Budd: it looks very attractive but it must be awfully warm to wear in the summer it's like wearing a hat basically I love the color of your natural hair without the wig and even if you weren't back tied in a bun that is the style now tied back even with fine here it looks attractive to me warrant up you have a lovely face must not hide it under the hair show your beauty and be natural wearing a wig too much especially in the heat waves coming this summer your scalp we'll perspire and you can lose hair with a wig that's why many men are bald because they wear the cap eat too much and the perspiration kills the follicles try to go free with your own natural hair even if it is fine it's still beautiful

Deborah Clark: You know it looks beautiful

Stephanie Woodby: Love your eye makeup

C: You seem to have quite a lot of hair, it's just not very thick at the ends. You can't see your scalp, your parting is not balding. Mostly toppers are used for women with thinning on top, your parting is beautiful, your hair looks really healthy on top. You do not need a topper ! In the long run they ruin your hair.

Maudy28: Just pluck the part because it doesn't seem natural. Millions of youtube videos made by black girls wearing lace wig. They are rocking it

Rolling Withthepunches: I wonder if someone could cut bangs into a topper.

Mona Aziza: i 'm from Algeria . you are so beautiful .your hair like the mine.i love you my sister Kia

Rolling Withthepunches: That’s fun. I like it.

Jared Garrison: I really wished that you turned around so we could see the back. That's so important to me. Posted by Char~

Peggy Ghirardello: Your hair may be thin but truth u look better thin natural hair

R S: Some of these toppers are just wigs, you know?

Liz Masi: You got a poorly made topper. You need a mono topper that simulates real scalp. And you put this one on crooked.

gu goop: You look better in tight brown hair

Denise Huerta: Where is the coupon?

Jacen Starheart:

Gersemi Domislic: You look like Kerli

Zee: very preettty! :)

Shelley M.: You really remind me of ”Megan Draper” from Mad Men! Like a blonde Megan Draper

Senorita Blanca: The Topper looks so unreal, the colour is not beautiful and the hair line is not really good.

Muhammad Usman: du bist wunderschön.

Home Deliveries & Finance: It looks like it is , fake ! the parting need thinning

Basak Parlak: You re better without

mztwixed: OMG..run on much? Get to the point already. Try your next video not talking. smh JUST DO IT ALREADY. sheesh. For the viewers: start at the 9 min mark.

Maria Vizcarra: My nephew said you are so beautiful

Meichelle Spirit: Hon what you have is Hyperthyroidism.. My stylist was able to tell exactly what was going on with my hair just by looking at it.. And my hair looks like yours.. Have your thyroid tested :)

Nora Damache: Bla bla bla bla

Kumar Vadivelu: U look sad ..y r u crying ..? Is there aNy problem ?

Yaboy octo: O

michele clutter: Aid you could keep the lecture and rambling to a minimum? We want to see the product.

Florence: Poor Kia, your hair seems to be your obsession. Why? You are naturally cute and you have a nice skin. Sorry, but wearing a hair topper is ridiculous...

T. Allyn: Honestly, from a guys perspective, I think you look better with your natural angel-like hair. This topper/wig thing completely erases your flower-girl look and makes me less curious to wanting to know you because you are no longer unique.

Who’s that girl ?: Get to the point already!!!!

Megan Hillman: You talk way too much. More than half the video passes before you put the darn wig on..
