Using Glue To Make Clip In Extensions

In order to save time and money you can make your own clip on extensions using hot glue with a hot glue gun instead of spending so much time trying to sew in the track on to the clip.

Hey this, your girl, urban chick 1, we're going to talk today about clip ones now. I know you've seen maybe tons of videos on how to actually make clip ones and it's great, especially in this recession, because it costs way too much to actually buy the track with the clips. It would be around 60 or $ 70, but I actually had an aha moment today. Um, I realized the problem with making clip bones is that it takes a while to actually sold a clip one through the track, and you know I always double my track. So I used to write here in the clip alone, the clips we're about a dollar something they come in two in a pack right here, so um and it would take me at least two hours or so just I would always put three tracks in my hair And I would double the track and then I would sew in these holes right here. If you don't have time to sew or if you're just annoyed with sewing. What you can do is actually use bonding glue and you can put bonding glue right on the back of this part of the clip, and you just put it on one. Let it dry for a couple of seconds, maybe 10 to 20 seconds, then actually press the track right on the clip. Leave it there for a couple of minutes. The only thing is, if you do use bonding glue to make your Clips make sure you don't have the track in more than two to three hours, because your natural oils will loosen up the glue. Another idea I was thinking is, you can actually use high um hot glue. We know with a hot glue gun like the actual glue you use for arts and crafts. You can use that instead and the clip should stay on longer um. You know the reason why bonding weave glue is used is because you actually put one they hear that close your scout and it's easy to come out once you put all your Sheen or you drop you or you wash it but a lot of times. But since you're using a glue for the clips and that you're here, you can use hot glue that should definitely work um. It'S just any one, really long um, I'm! I would try it out. You know now, but I'm not gon na um be wearing clothes for a while. I think I'll. Try it out in the future, but um yeah, I think um. If any of y'all yeah. I should really give it a try and tell me how it works. If you can use the glue to make your eclipse and that saves tons of time saves tons of money, it was it's only a dollar something and then for a package. Here is around $ 30. Now for a really good, no human! Here, you know um. If you buy other brands they're a lot more expensive, so I'm just rambling on right now, but I just want to share that idea. I have, and if any of you try, please leave comments below, or you know, email or tell me how it goes and please subscribe subscribe, make any comments and I'll speak to you later. Bye,

Darlene Gillispie: Thank you! I've had a pack of wefts for 10 years I still haven't gotten around to wearing cuz I hate sewing and I didn't know they didn't come with the clips on so I'm about to go buy some bonding glue today after watching this :)

yurika975: good looking out. I've got my glue gun in hand right now...you could also use maybe the liquid gold bonding glue...it lasts longer and comes out with acetone(nail polish remover)Thanks for the visual on the double tracks ...Great job!

Victoria Smith: You know you can use crazy glue to glue it... it works even better... those clips aren't going anywhere! I used it as a test when I bought the clip ins as a test and two of the clips were starting to come off, so I had some crazy glue at the house and I had one of those (aha) moments and it works.. so that's another suggestion

Femi S. Hair: @heartthrobxo It might but just keep in mind that it might be a little difficult to see it on since you have to get the needle through the two tracks and the glue in the middle . Try a small part first as a test

evileyez504: im too lazy to keep sewing them , glue gun here i come

Lissette Torres Gonzalez: thank u. hot glue worked like a charm.

Karysa: Where did you get the clips?

Tiffany Gary: so for the whole 3 minutes, you just talked about the track. why didn't you demonstrate how you did it?

Sivonyia: how did u double the tracks did u glue them together??

MsCardigan1: Great idea!!!!

Moon: does it really last? c:

Ghetto Gypsy: im gonna do the hot glue method after work today thanks

Femi S. Hair: Ur welcome!!!You should usually put 3 clips on a track!!! One on each end and 1 in the middle.

Femi S. Hair: Not sure since every one has a different size head. I would put the tracks, against your scalp where you want to place them in order to figure out how long they should be

Femi S. Hair: @lovece7 Atleast a couple of weeks. My extension started to get weighed down after 2 weeks just from the natural oils from my scalp. So I sewed n made new ones to try. If u want the clips on permanant u can sew them on too.

Lovely Henderson: i do this it works well

Femi S. Hair: I haven't warn clip in's in a while but when my friend did this she said it last for about a week

Femi S. Hair: Thanks for posting your Tip!!

Femi S. Hair: @yurika975 Yeah their great got tired of spending money to get tracks put in at the salon. I think Ill try the liquid gold bonding glue.

Shaun Bell: can you use standard hot glue gun glue to apply extensions?

Femi S. Hair: @Karysaa Usually allot of local beauty supply stores have them I dont know where you are located but where I live in the city any beauty supply store you should have them.

Alice Waffle: Can u use tape in

Keara Brown: My extensions were $100 with no clips!

Femi S. Hair: @smileysivon Yes!!!! Thats exactly how I did it.

Femi S. Hair: @mya1123 oh ok I'll definately give that a try

Tristen Lewis: just spent all my money on extensions for school and glued the clips to the track with hot glue. I tried to put them in my hair, and the clip fell right off. I tried all of them and they all fell off. Fuck hair extensions.
