High Pony With Extensions On Thin Hair Tutorial | Amazing Beauty Hair Clip Ins

Hello, besties lexi luxury hair, how the hell are you welcome welcome back to my channel there's a hair in my lip. It'S fine, though. Okay, if you are new here, i make beauty, videos, hair videos, like this fashion, videos, and i do also do influencer tips. It was very hard for me to pick out the extensions that i wanted because they had so many different variations of ombres and highlights, but this video is specifically for my thin haired besties. You all know i have super thin hair as well. I have struggled with hair loss and recently my hair is getting you know back around the bend, but either way i'm still coming at you guys with some like fire, thin hair content on how you can style it and make it look thick as ever. So. Yes, this is going to be a messy ponytail tutorial for thin hair with extensions, it's a mouthful, but that's what we're doing all right. I think that's all the information you guys need to know, let's just get into the video okay, let's get started. So i have the box of hair here. We'Re just gon na go ahead and open this real, quick and then we'll get straight to the styling, but they did give me some goodies in here. This clip by the way heavy duty probably won't need it for my thin ass hair, but you know so it comes in this cute little bag and then we have the hair. I will leave all the information on the hair as far as the color that i went with, and the density and all of that, because i know they had quite a few options on their site, but i'm so excited to see this in a ponytail. I believe this is like 20 inches, so she's long, but once again all the information will be right below this video. So now that we've seen these we're actually going to start crimping our natural hair, all right. So while my straightener is heating up, this is what my natural hair looks like. Obviously i straightened it if you are new to my channel, i'm mixed, so i have like really curly hair, but obviously you can see it's very fine and when i do straighten it out, it gets pretty smooth. My ends are really thin. My hair is getting so much thicker, though, like guys check the part she's looking so good if you're watching this video, i'm assuming you have super thin hair too, and i actually just uploaded a video on how i am growing my hair thicker. It has gotten so much thicker, just in the past few months from the new methods that i'm using. So if you're interested in that video, i will link it above and in the description box down below okay. So i essentially just like roughly waved my hair. It looks so crazy right now you guys don't worry anyways now that that's done, i'm gon na go ahead and put my hair up in a clip and we are going to wave these extensions, then we'll put them in and we will style the ponytail. I'M so excited okay, let's do that next! Okay, so i literally stuck these on a hanger, because i was trying to figure out the best way to do this. Since i'm gon na be putting the extensions upside down in my head. I knew it would be really hard to crimp them, while they're in there, so this is literally what i did. I just put them through the little loops on here and hung it up, and now i'm gon na wave the hair okay. So now we're gon na kind of unravel these guys. I took off the little plastic thing that was holding them together, but i will quickly go over what kind of wefts you get in this pack. So this is a four clip weft right here and we have a two clip right here, so i'm gon na set this one to the side. By the way the hair feels amazing. It feels really nice and silky. Here is another two clip. The two clips are honestly my favorite in like any set of extensions. Well, my hair is looking crazy, but whatever got a three clip up top and another three clip this one has a lot of blonde in it, oh yay, and then we have four single clips. I love these guys. These are like perfect, if you're wearing your hair down, just to like add in a little bit of extra density on the side. So since this is a new pack of hair, i do like to cut my extensions to my hair kind of, like very roughly, i personally like to just add some layers in there now. I am not like a hairstylist or anything, but i have been wearing extensions since i was like 14 years old, so like literally 11 years, wow, that's crazy uh. But with that being said, i do have an idea of how i like to cut my extension. So it doesn't really freak me out if you are freaked out by it, and you do want to get layers in your extensions. What i used to do is, i would put them in myself and then i would go to a hair salon and i would have the hair stylist. Just like cut layers into my extensions from my natural hair. I found it just makes extensions, look super super natural, and it also is great for a ponytail, because if you guys have ever tried to do extensions with a ponytail before and you have short hair like mine, it's hard to get it to mesh together, because your Hair will be so short and the extensions will be so long, so you kind of want some layers in the middle to kind of break it up. Since i'm pretty sure i will be wearing my hair down as well with these extensions. This is going to look so crazy, but i'm just going to clip two of the smaller clips like right here in my hair, like very, very roughly okay. So we've got these two up here. I'M just gon na start like on the part, that's closest to my face and just kind of like you know what i mean so literally just going in very roughly now we have some even shorter pieces up front. That'S all i'm gon na do for these two. So i'm gon na take these out and i'm gon na set them to the side. So i can remember that these go on the right side of my head, but i also know that when i do the ponytail that these pieces will go on top, so i'm gon na do pretty much the same exact thing. With this three clip, i just clipped it in my hair really roughly obviously make sure that none of your hair is going to be cut. But just going straight in starting pretty high up once again and you always want to go on an angle and i'll be doing the two clips the same way, but i wanted to show you at least one full weft, where i do this before. I do. The rest off camera, but here is our three clip guy. So once again i know it'll be on the right side, since it has these shorter pieces here all right, i'm gon na do my two clips and the rest of my three clips off camera and then, like i said i won't do the four clip. So i will see you guys in a second when it's all done and then we will finally get to putting up this ponytail. Okay, i'm done cutting all the hair by the way. This is about as much hair as i cut off of the extension. So now i'm going to section off my hair to put the extensions and first i am just going to grab the top half of my hair and pull it up. I originally would put one weft in here and then start going down, but i saw somebody do something different the other day where they put in one left and started to go up. I feel like that would be better for us thin haired girls, since it's harder to hide wefts when they're down here right. So i'm just going to make sure we have enough hair on top to keep adding the extensions and enough hair on bottom. All right. That is about as far down as i want to go, and i'm going to take this little section down here and i'm going to tease the top portion, just the like section. That'S you know next to my part here, just so that first weft is really good and secure in there and then just grabbing some hairspray to hold the tees. Also, i'm pretty sure all of my waves have already fallen out so whatever maybe you could skip that part now, it is time to put in our first extension all right. So i got my forklift here. We did not cut this one, since it is going to be the bottom layer, i'm going to flip this upside down. So, instead of it going in like this on my head, it's gon na go in like this and then just clipping him straight in just like that, and then you can let the hair flip back and then we're gon na actually put in the rest of the Wefts up this way so then putting this one in right on top of it, but still upside down. These are all going to be just literally smack dab in the middle. So it doesn't matter if you do like the right one first or the left one going in with a two clip now i think you guys are getting the idea. I don't know if you can see what i'm doing or not. Okay. Okay, now we have our single clips, i'm just gon na kind of put these wherever i can to be honest: okay, we have all the clips. In now, i'm gon na take this little top section out. I'M gon na take a little hair tie and have him ready to go and we're gon na flip our head over and collect all this hair. If the hair extension gods are with us, all will go well. Okay, let's do it! Oh my god. Can you imagine if your hair just naturally looked like this amazing? Oh you guys. I think it worked perfectly wow. First time, that's awesome! Okay, so you can get an idea now of what our ponytail is gon na look like. Oh, i think the crimping looks so cute. It makes it just have a little bit more personality to it. So now we can style our hair, we're almost done and then we're gon na have this cute-ass ponytail wow, i'm so excited okay. So i'm actually gon na slick the back of my hair up just really quick, so just grabbing some hairspray and then just taking these back hairs. I'M just brushing them over so that when i do pull it all the way up, they're already going in the right direction, i had to literally stand up for this. Okay, so now we're gon na collect all the hair. Don'T worry about the front um by the way i did do a middle part like you guys saw because i am going to do some things with this. So if you guys are trying to do the same thing, just make sure you think of that when you blow dry or straighten your hair all right, so i'm just kind of grabbing these bangs out just the ones that, like frame my face. So when i grab my bangs, i like to go in like a little triangle. So, like here's my part and then i just do a little angle here and then pull it out, you always want to make sure your parts are really clean when you have thin hair because it just makes your hair look so much thicker. But here's a little visual on this side. I just take my little comb here. I go at an angle and i grab that hair. I'M also going to grab some hair off of the sides all right and now i feel like it's safe to actually put up my hair. So that's what we're going to do! Um. First, i'm going to add some hairspray to this section here very carefully without like brushing too much of my wefts, because they are in there i'm just going to get that hair organized. Do the same thing over here right moment of truth. This is how i like to pull it out by the way i just kind of do like this, and then i take my other hand, and i pull the rest of the hair through it just because, if you try to apply it normally, you could yank your Extensions out very easy to do. Okay, it's a little hair, stuck, i'm sweating, all right, okay, so this is honestly not bad for not having our bangs styled or anything. I think i'm gon na try to crimp these, but i wanted to give you guys a close-up on the pony, real quick. So you can see these are like my natural little pieces, which is nice since my hair is slightly darker than the brown in this hair. Even though it does blend well, it makes it look like it's a bit more ombre, so it matches my hair so much better, and even with my little natural short piece up here, i thought i would have to crimp it to like mesh it better. But it looks fabulous because we trimmed the hair, so we still have all of these other little pieces that are sticking out from the actual extensions. It gives the illusion that all the hair is just layered together and that it's growing out of our head. The first thing i'm gon na do is slick back these hairs. Behind my bangs here, like i said, my hair has been growing a lot more, it's getting a lot thicker, and that means that there's new hair growing. So i have all of these tiny hairs. Just kind of poking out, especially when i straighten it, so i'm just gon na spray right here, careful not to get my bangs and just very lightly brush it back just so that it's not sticking straight up and boom like now. We look ten times better, like compare the two see what i'm saying and obviously like there's bumps and stuff in my hair. I don't care about that, because one the ponytail mostly hides it and two. This is supposed to be like a messy ponytail look. So i kind of like it a little bit messy, i'm not too worried about the rest of it. But let's see what this hair looks like if it's crimped in the front i'm not used to having like crimped bangs. So i can't believe, like our ponytail just like looks this flawless. Oh yeah, i am digging the crimp, it's giving me like 80s ponytail, and i like that. Absolutely okay, i'm gon na turn off my straightener, i'm gon na give you guys a better view of this.
