Hey guys welcome back to my channel today, i want to chat about hair extensions on my social medias. Recently, i asked if anybody had tried hair extensions, and i was shocked that most people had not tried hair extensions, so i want to show you how you can take your hair from this to this using temporary clip in hair extensions. These are my hair extensions. They are 22 inches long, so incredibly long they are human hair. They weigh 240 grams um. I got them extra thick because i have really thick hair and they're in the color too dark brown, which is pretty close to my natural hair. These are tara, hair, brand hair extensions, but i actually bought them on canadahair.ca, which is a canadian website and they weren't 450. Like the price tag says they actually were 300 canadian dollars. Plus i had a 40 discount, so they ended up costing me 260 canadian dollars. I paid 275 after shipping and they just came in this little box like this from ontario. I never ordered anything from canada here before. All i had known was a different canadian brand that was really popular on youtube a few years back, but a comparable set from that brand would have been 439. I believe us dollars and that would have been for a 24 inch pair, so two inches longer or 335 dollars for two inches shorter. So i thought i would risk it and try. This unknown brand see what it was like when they shipped out the hair. Extensions were just in a hair net which i have since destroyed. They also came with a detangling brush, which i really like this style of brush, it's kind of like the tangle, teezer type brush, and it just glides really easy through the extensions nice makes it really easy to detangle. Even when they're like clipped into your hair, they came with a little color tester, so you can, before you open up your extensions, make sure they'll be a decent color match for you, and they came with two extra little clips. I'M not the most experienced with hair or hair extensions, but i thought compared to previous hair extensions that i tried in the past. These ones looked really really nice, they're, nice and secure, and they have this little like silicone part on them, which really helps like grip. Your hair, so i too, i have two extra clips. If i ever lose any clips, the band on these hair extensions is just like a thick. I guess it's called a lace and then you can see the clips are just sewed right onto that and from the front you can hardly see anything at all if you're not sure what color to order mine is pretty safe, because i dye my hair dark brown. So i think that makes it pretty easy for me to like guess what color my hair is going to turn out if you're not sure what color you will be, you can order a ring of swatches for 15. It also came with a guide for how to use them and how to take care of them, and it has a coupon code on it for 10 off. If you want to try it they're having a big sale right now anyway, because of christmas, but you could always try the code super 10 for 10 off. It'S not my code. It'S just a generic code. The hair extensions also came straight and my natural texture is not really curly it's somewhere in between, like a wave and a curl, so i actually have this waiver. From a million years ago. I just went through and waved my extensions. I waved them once when i open them up and i haven't waved them again since, but i feel like they are holding the wave really well. One thing i will say is: i did notice fibers from the extensions almost got like melted to it, even though these hair extensions claim to be a hundred percent human hair. There'S like no real way for me to test that, but that makes me feel like. Maybe something in them is not completely human hair, because there was a like melting happening. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough to be noticeable. I'M just going to take my wefts or the clips off of my string and just kind of lay them out on my desk in front of me and we can put them in together. Okay, i'm just editing the video now uh. I cannot say three clip clip weft clip weft clip every time. I say it in this video. I mess it up, so i apologize. If that's annoying three clip left three clip left three. Now i can say it: what the hell, when you buy most hair extensions, they come in a very similar set. I have two three clipped wefts one forklift whip uh, two, two clip wefts for like the side of your hair and then two one whiffed clips which go right at the front of your hair. So to do this, i'm going to use my fingers and a clip we're going to start with the three clip wefts at the back of my head. First, i'm just going to give them a quick brush just to make sure there's no knots and i'm really gon na try hard not to brush my own hair. So i don't like mess up my curl pattern. So the first part i'm gon na do is just kind of at the back of my hand, i'm just gon na stick one of these three cleft wefts in and i'm not going to do any like back combing or anything to the roots. I feel like these silicone clips hold on really really well, so i'm just going to go ahead and clip those in like so so next, i'm going to move up a little bit higher and i'm going to put in the other three weft clap clip and i'm Going to put in the other three clipper just above the first one, this is how we are looking. So next, i'm going to move. To probably you know, is it your occipital bone that bone that kind of sticks out the farthest kind of the same line where your glasses sit, and here we're going gon na put in the largest four clip weft and again, you can see kind of where my Real hair ends is about here, and the extensions go quite a bit further down. So now we have to work on the sides and the front of our hair extensions, so i'm gon na take the clip down. So i'm just gon na part, my hair loosely we're gon na take one of the two clipped wefts and i'm gon na stick. These i'm gon na go fairly close to the front of my face just like so and if they ever feel like not completely secure. You can just go back in and re-secure them looks good and i'm gon na do it on this side too. I'M still going to clip my hair up out of the way and attach the two cleft weft um, pretty much right at the front of that right. At the front of where it shaved just to make sure it's gon na look as natural and as beautiful and soft and feminine as possible, just like so now we just have these two single one cliff wefts left. So i always even if i didn't have this like shaved part, i would still tend to put both clips on this side of my bang, because this is where all my hair sits normally anyway. So i'm just gon na part somewhere in there and go ahead and clip in one like so and then just slightly above that i'm gon na go in and clip the other weft just like this. Then i'm just gon na use my fingers to blend that all together and just like that, i have super long, beautiful, wavy, hair, the west feel very secure, so i live in alberta, canada and for the most part i work in an office and it is freezing Cold in that office, so luckily i'm working from home now, but one nice thing about hair extensions, especially really long thick ones is they are hello warm. So i would say if you run cold a lot uh. The extensions are also a great way to like kind of have a built-in blanket. You can stay warm a lot easier when you have a head full of hair. I have oranges comfortable for 12 hour days, easily eight hour days and they're comfortable. They stay in place. They'Re very well hidden, if i'm like digging around in there. You can't really see that i'm wearing hair extensions right because you can kind of see sometimes, but so far i'm really enamored with the quality. I think they're really easy to detangle and they don't really get too tangly overall anyway, especially compared to previous ones. I'Ve worn in the past. These aren't like remy, hair or anything. I checked back around the website and i see now they are offering remy hair extensions, which are a little bit more expensive, but honestly, i'm perfectly satisfied with these ones. So i don't really know that going up to like a remy hair would be beneficial to me. These are the very thick ones because, like i said, i have really big thick hair, but you can get thick or regular and that just affects how much hair each weft has, and you can also get a 14 inch or 18 inch hair extensions from this website. Just depending on how big you want to go, but for me i like going really really long. I want that like mermaid hair and if i ever felt like it, i could always get them. I could always like trim them myself or take them to a salon to like get trimmed the other nice thing is. You can always skip wefts if you want your hair to feel not quite so heavy. So if you know you're going to be active or if you're doing different hairstyles or something you can always choose to leave out like one three clipped weft, you could leave out the forklift weft. You could leave out those single one clipped wefts, whatever you want to do. It'S super customizable overall, i'm incredibly excited for these hair extensions. I'M glad i got a good deal on them. I'M glad i bought canadian, even though they're made in china under the brand tara brand under the brand terra hair and then sold by this canada, hair dot ca. You can also use like the one weft clips to do pretty things like you, can do a braid or wrap your hairstyle and just like clip it in there's so much you can do with hair extensions. You can wrap them around your ponytail and then just like add a little bit of extra um for length to your ponytail. It'S so flexible um. They are really expensive, but i cut my hair at home. I dye my hair at home, so i'm very, very low budget when it comes to my hair, if you think about a haircut being sixty dollars, that's like four and a half haircuts, depending on your hair budget, your hair needs and how expensive your hair extensions. Are. These extra thick ones are a lot more expensive than the thick or regular ones um. It could be even more economical for you. I was i was kind of extra when i bought them all right to store my extensions um. They actually have a hair extension. It looks like a pants, hanger i'll put a picture up here, but i thought you know what i have a lot of yarn. So this is just like a piece of yarn for knitting and i just clip them on there and then hang it on a hook somewhere. If i know they're going to get jostled, i have this is actually i ordered some sheets from simon's earlier this year and it came in and the sheets came in this like fabric bag, so i just repurposed the bag to stick my hair extensions in. If i feel like, if i'm going to be storing them for a longer time fold them in half and then i just kind of like loop them around my hand, so that i can get them stuffed into this bake, i grab a hanger loop. The green thing on, and then they are just kind of like nicely stored and protected until the next time. I pull them out. That'S my look at canadahere.com. I hope you enjoyed taking a look at these hair extensions with me today. I really think hair extensions in general are an incredible tool for changing up your look and keeping warm in winter and just having fun and like there's no way. I'M ever gon na grow my hair out this long, and even if i did grow my hair out. This long, i wouldn't have this much hair. You know so it's great to feel like glamorous beautiful, put together without the upkeep and maintenance, i'm probably going to wash these hair extensions, like maybe twice a year, because i never use hairspray or anything in my hair. So as long as they're stored well and relatively clean they're going to be good to go, if you have another good place wherever you live, that you would recommend buying hair extensions from leave it down below again. This is pretty canada specific, but i know a lot of my viewers are from europe or india. Do us a favor and let us know where you would recommend buying hair extensions from so i bought these with my own money, not affiliated with canada here or anything. Jessica Bey: Those are cool! I forgot about clip ins. My mother in law goes to the salon to get them glued in. I have damaged areas in my hair that I have thought about getting some plus my hair is getting thin. The length of my hair is about the length of your extensions when your wearing them.
