Unboxing + Tutorial: Bellami Extensions (18" Pearl Blonde Highlight Clip Ins)

I have been wearing hair extensions since 2014 and have found myself purchasing Bellami hair extensions over and over again.

I put together this unboxing video to show you what the color of the Bellami Pearl Blonde Highlight Clip In Extensions actually look like IRL (spoiler: they are a lot warmer than they look on the website and in this color matching Bellami video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXStKA...).

After recording this video, I ended up toning the hair extensions a little bit using Fanola No Yellow Shampoo (https://amzn.to/3AkfZB7) and now they match perfectly!

Tip: If you are going to tone the extensions, combine the purple shampoo with the same amount of your regular shampoo and leave the shampoo combo on for no more than 5 seconds, rinse. And make sure to tone each weft one by one rather than all at once to make sure that they shampoo is dispersed evenly!

I also wanted to make this video to show you guys how easy it is to put clip in extensions in! I used to have hand tied extensions, and those were just way too expensive to keep up with, so I switched back to clip-ins. Extensions are a great way to elevate your look and have always given me more confidence.

Hey guys, it's Kim welcome back to my channel. I am so excited for this video, I'm gon na be unboxing. Some brand new Bellamy, 18 inch, silk, seam Pearl blonde, highlight extensions, and I'm gon na be putting them on for you guys too, and I'm really excited because I feel like this is a question that I get asked about a lot which is my hair. I have never been able to really grow out my hair ever like with being blonde, especially, I feel like it kind of reaches this length and never exceeds that. Hair extensions have been a part of my life for over 10 years. I love them. I'Ve tried pretty much every brand you can think of. I was very committed to Bellamy hair extensions for a long time switch to a few other brands, and now I recently want a little darker um. It probably doesn't look that dark to you guys right now, but this is a lot darker for me compared to my normal hair, I'm usually Platinum all over. So with that said, I got some new hair extensions to hopefully match my new hair and I figured I would show you guys because again I get asked a lot about my hair and I'm always transparent. I wish my hair was luscious and long, but it's not, and I'm going to show you guys how I get my hair from going from this to this, and I hope you guys enjoy this video. If you do, please make sure to give me a thumbs up up and to click that subscribe button. I love you guys enjoy. As I said earlier, these are the Bellamy 18 inch, silk, seam Pearl blonde, highlight extensions, and on the back there is a little tester that I am going to pull out and make sure that it is a good fit for my hair before I unbox everything once You do take out the main portion of the extensions you're not able to return um the extensions anymore you're stuck with them, so it's always good to try out the tester first and make sure it matches before taking out the rest of the hair. So that is what it looks like when you first take it out. Is it focusing? This is the hair extension that came with it? This is again the tester strand, I'm just gon na brush it out, and then I will clip this into my head and see if it's a good fit um, as you can see like my hair, is really really cool toned right now. I just got it toned. So it might not be a perfect fit right now, but it could be once it washes out. So let's put it in I'm just going to take a random piece of hair and put it on okay. I just put the tester strip in and I will say it looks like a little more golden than the rest of my hair, but when my neck, when my actual hair washes out, it does tend to get a little more golden. So I'm wondering if this is gon na work. Okay, here's my conclusion initially, like I just got my hair done yesterday. There is so much toner in my hair and it looks beautiful, but I do know that once my hair washes out, like I would say after two or three washes, my hair does tend to naturally get a little more golden. So with that said, I am going to move forward with unboxing all these extensions, putting them on my head and we're gon na see how it turns out together and before I begin you can see like the warranty sticker on. So if you take that warranty sticker off, you are stuck with that hair. So let's hope I like it. So the hair comes in like this little ball of netting and I'm just gon na go ahead and enter here is all of the hair that came in the pack. It is pretty thick, I will say, I'm probably used to wearing more hair, but it's really really beautiful. I love the color and the root like the clip of the root. It'S a really nice brown color that will really blend in naturally with my roots. So this is good like if you are trying to grow out your hair right now have like more of a lived in look. This would be a very good set for you guys to have so again. That is all the hair. It came with one two. Three. Four pieces, four pieces of hair - and I am going to put these in and I'm actually going to keep this tester Strand and use that as a part of my hair. Also, I need that volume baby. As I mentioned earlier, I've been wearing hair extensions for years. So I don't really need to see what I'm doing when I'm putting them in, but I'm just gon na walk you guys through what I'm doing so. First, I'm going to section off my hair and just leave a little bit on the very bottom, like as little amount of hair as possible, because this is gon na, probably peek out. There'S an option to braid like tie a little braid right here and clip it up, so you don't see the hairs at all. I don't normally do that, but it's definitely an option. I'M gon na go in and take the tester strip that has two clips on it and just clip that in place. So, as you can see, I just clip that right. There doesn't look that great, just yet trust the process. Now I'm going to take the next row of hair - and this is just leaving again a little bit of hair over that layer and I'm taking another weft that has two clips on it and clipping that right onto my hair. Now I'm going to take this big, daddy weft! This one has four Clips on it and I'm going to take I'm going to go from like the midsection of my hair, so just above my brows and I'm creating almost like, where you would have like a half ponytail and I'm pulling that hair out. And I'm just going to take that clip I'm taking the second one in first. You can see the focusing I'm going to take this one in first and clip that on so it gives a balance to the whole left and then I'm just going in and clipping the rest of the weft to my head. As you can see, I just added all those clips and it really doesn't have to be perfect. That is what it looks like if you feel like Clips a little bit loose, just unclip it and put it back in and for this last section I am going to bring all the hair forward and brush it out, because now we're gon na put some hair On the top, I have two more wefts left. They both have three Clips on them, so this is the one I'm working with next three clips and we are gon na put one on each side of our head. So again take a little section like you're doing a little half pony. Let your fingers meet in the back and pull the rest of that hair down again. It doesn't have to be perfect, and you don't have to do this. I just like making sure that everything is good to go and I'm taking that clip. I'M going to take the middle one first and clip it onto the side of my head and pull this one all the way to the front and clipping that last one in place and again sometimes we will have to take the clip out and put it in Again, last weft: here we go taking the middle one clipping that one on first and I'll, give you guys a really up close look. You can see this weft really does match my root so well, and then you're, just gon na shake out the remaining hair, find a brush brush it all together. Okay, that is all the hair on my head. Obviously, it's like so wavy from being in the box, but that looks pretty good. I think I'm gon na style it and I will be right back and show you guys. The finished look and here is the finished product. I love this hair. I think it turned out so good and it does just blend so naturally, in with my natural hair, I just ended up like flipping my bangs out a little bit and straightening the bottom. I think, if you do want more volume like I might even order. Another pack just to add like a little bit more, but one pack also does suffice, and I love these. I think they turned out so good. I hope you guys enjoyed watching this little tutorial and unboxing. If you have any questions about the hair or anything else on, my channel feel free to leave a comment below I love. You guys hope you have a great rest of your day.

A. W.: I found your video while looking for more on the Bellami Pearl Blonde Highlight color extensions. I already watched the Bellami video you linked in the description, to narrow down what color I thought I would need, but even on their own video, the pearl blonde highlights color is said to be ashy tones, not warm like yours were. Seems like these looked more like the Honey Comb Highlights color. I plan on buying these and hope they aren't warm b/c my hair is ashy, but at least I can tone them like you ended up having to do. BTW, they look great on you!

Lora Alley: How do you store the extensions when you take them out? I recently purchased some and don’t know how I should go about that. I seen some people putting them in bags or hangers?

Angelis M. Sanchéz: Im thinking about the 18” —— thanks so much for your video! I am just wondering how tall are you? Because im 5”0 feet and I would like to sort see where they would fall on me.
