#bellami #thinhairstyles #extensions

Hello and thank you so much for clicking on today's video. My name is katie if you're new here, but if you're already subscribed. Thank you so much. I so appreciate it. So, as you can tell if you're a returning subscriber here, i have my natural hair going on. It'S super fine and thin, so i thought we would try out some new extensions today. I love bellamy, hair extensions. I'Ve been wearing them for like over a decade. Now i think, at this point or somewhere around there, i just love their extensions so much. I found them a long time ago when i was in high school when i first started out with extensions. I was using like sally beauty, extensions and then it just like went up from there and from my personal experience, my favorite extensions are the bellamy hair extensions, because it's real human hair and honestly i've gotten close to probably five years with an extension set from bellamy. So they last a really long time, depending on how well you take care of it and everything, and all like the different products you're using on the hair, makes a difference too so definitely want to keep up with maintaining the hair, making. It look nice and fresh and not like overwatching it or anything like that. So i recently got this style of extensions from bellamy. It'S their silk seam extensions. As you can see, i have not unboxed these at all. There'S a little testing piece in there haven't even opened that or anything yet, and these are supposed to be a lot better in the terms of just being thinner and less visible in your actual hair. And that is exactly what i'm looking for, because i have like. I said really fine thin hair, so sometimes it can be hard to hide extensions, so i'm hoping these ones will do great. So i guess we should just get right into opening it. I'M just like destroying this box trying to get these out of here. So it comes packaged like this out of the box and tape. Here i guess i should have tried the test piece first, just to be sure, but i just feel like this is going gon na, be such a good color. Let'S see well she's pretty yellow actually, but we could probably tone it and you won't even notice once it's in my hair. That'S why i love when they send the test piece, because, obviously, if you don't think this is going to work for your hair, you just send it back and then they'll give you the right color shade, which is so nice and convenient. But i feel like this will work, because i can just tone it to be less yellow. I mainly wanted to get this shade because it is more of a rooted, cool brown and usually with extensions. I just get one solid color, but i thought getting a root. Color would just kind of help blend it even better in my hair, because obviously, as you can tell my roots, are much darker okay. So then it comes packaged like this and it's nice and neatly folded in there, and this doesn't even feel that heavy at all - and this is, i believe, 240 grams - oh my gosh, this feels so nice. Oh, my goodness, i forgot what brand new healthy, looking extensions felt like that are actually real human hair, because i have a lot of synthetic ones which i love and can get away with, but sometimes that you know i just want, like 100 real human hair, that Can style with whatever hot tool i want at whatever degree basically, and you know, get the look that i'm going for and i, like i said, can probably get these to last close to five years. So we'll see three to five years kind of depending but, like i said, depends on how you take care of them, so these ones are 22 inches, as you can see, they're pretty long. I was debating between the 20 inches or the 22 inches, but i decided to go with 22 because when i curl it, obviously it gets a lot shorter. So i thought this would be a perfect length, so it looks like this comes with a total of seven pieces. You have a longer for left, then you have another four weft, but this one's a little bit shorter. Then you also have a three weft and then you have another three weft, and then we have two separate two wefts which are perfect for the side of your hair. So the new bellamy - silk seam extension wafts - are supposed to be up to 30, thinner, so more comfortable on your head, longer, lasting and apparently less shedding than the original bellamy hair extensions, which you can still obviously get those as well, and i've had no issue with Those, but you know i just wanted to kind of try this version of them and i'm hoping i love them just as much okay, so now to apply them. I'M first going to section up my hair and i'm just going to take it kind of like half up half down where you just leave a little bit in the back for that first extension left to clip into so. This is about the section i will do. First - and it doesn't have to be perfect, you just need enough hair that the weft will latch onto so i'm gon na be taking the smallest three weft first. So then putting my hair back down, i'm just going to section off another piece for this next section. I'M going to clip in the longer three wet and then keeping that same section, i'm going to go in with the four piece left. So then, i just sectioned up my hair again and i'm gon na use the longest four wefts, because the base of my head is the longest here, so this is going to apply the best in this portion. So now all we have left to do is the sides, so i'm just going to clip up this section of hair and then i'll be taking one of the two wefts and just applying it on the side here, what a difference these side pieces are just the Best because they really are the ones that make the most difference just for me personally, because the sides of my hair are the thinnest, so i just can't get any growth there as much now, i'm going to do the same thing on this side, okay, so this Is what they look like all in? I love it so much. I think i'm gon na go ahead and straighten them. Really, quick and i'll be right. Back. Okay, and here is the final result. I just kept the ends kind of wavy how they came, but i wanted this region. You know to be a little bit straighter, so it would blend in with my natural hair a little bit better and i have to say i love how these feel in my hair. They are very comfortable and i cannotice that these wefts are much thinner because usually i can't fit this many wefts in my head and it's still not be noticeable in my fine thin hair. But i have so many wefts in right now, seven to be exact, and i feel like you can't even tell in my hair at all just looks so nice and natural for being 22 inches. Like i said, the only thing that i really would have to do at all is just tone it with some purple shampoo to get some of the yellow out. I bought these with my own money because i wear extensions all the time. If you follow my channel here, you know that i'm always wearing some kind of different hair piece in for the day, because my hair is just so fine and thin, i'm kind of limited to what i can do with it. So i always like to switch up my hairstyles and my looks and try out some new extensions and then to store my extensions. I just get this little hanger case and these just work out perfectly for storing your extensions, because you have the zipper and then the little hanger inside which can easily just hold all your wefts in place together, and it's really nice too, if you're styling them. Because then, you can just place them right back in here, lay all the wefts on and then it'll hold your curls or keep them straight, because it's literally just hanging straight up and down in the bag. And it's really convenient for travel as well. Because you can just fold this up, throw it in your suitcase and then you have your hair with you. So i definitely want to tone these soon to get some of that yellow out. So i can start wearing them as soon as possible because i love how they look and i'll try to insert those clips in for you in this video as well. If i get around to doing that, and you can see what they look like after i tone them with the shampoo, so i currently have the extensions drying my mom toned them with the purple or the blue shampoo. This is the shampoo that she used to get the yellow off. The matrix is a really good brand and it gets rid of that yellow tone. So this is the before it doesn't look that yellow on the camera, though, but in comparison to this one you can really tell this is after one use of the blue shampoo and how long do you let it set for in there about 10 minutes so 10 Minutes about with the blue shampoo and that already took out so much of the yellow, fresh hair you're. Next. Are you ready for your blue shampoo you're? Looking a little yellow come here sit. Can you sit sit he's like i don't know? Oh he's sneezing! Oh willie! You need some hair extensions - oh my goodness! Oh okay, future me checking in here we got the little muffins sleeping down over here so cute, but this is what the extensions look like after i've toned them with the purple shampoo, and i think my mom said she left it on for like 10 minutes and It got all the yellow out, so it blends in with my real hair so good, because i don't have any yellow in my blonde hair at all. It'S more of that ashy blonde, so toning, it with the purple shampoo did wonders, and i could have gotten away with it before, but you know i just i wear them all the time, so i want them to be like the exact color that i need them And i don't want them to like, not look real, so it just worked out so well that all i had to do was tone them with the shampoo and now they're good to go. I can style them. However, i want. I just have them in a loose curl right now and i curled my own hair a little bit to blend in with the extensions a little bit better and obviously you can cut like different layers in them as well, which i didn't do. But that would also be a cool option, but i'm just going to leave them like this for the time being, if i switch it up and cut them at all, i will definitely keep you updated, but yeah. I just wanted to check in and show you how the extensions look now much better in my opinion and highly recommend bellamy, hair extensions, if you're in the need for some good hair extensions, it's worth the money. The quality is so good and they have tons of shade ranges to choose from so you can definitely get something to match your hair and obviously, as i showed earlier in the video, it comes with the little tester piece. So just take that piece out first and make sure it matches your hair and if it doesn't, you can just send the whole thing back and get you the shade. That'S going to work best for you or, if you're a blonde like me, you can just use some toning, shampoo and you'll get the color that you need so yeah. I just wanted to show you the final update of the extensions. I love them so much and i'm sure you can tell by this video by how much i'm like raving about them and touching my hair and everything. So sorry, that's super annoying, but you'll understand when you get fresh and new extensions. It'S like hard not to not touch your hair, because it just feels so good and it's just so fresh and clean, so yeah. I hope you enjoyed watching this little review and tutorial on how i apply my bellamy, hair extensions, and i hope i made it easier for you to understand how to apply them in your own hair and how quick and easy it is. And if you did like this video, please be sure to give it a thumbs up. Leave me a comment down in the comment section below subscribe. If you're not already, i would love to have you over here on my channel, and i will see you in my next video you
