Revive Your Bellami Extensions- Hair Extension Repair Technique- Transform Ratty Matted Hair!

Revive your Bellami extensions using the process I've shown in the video!

If you're just doing a daily cleanse, I recommend you skip the shampoo rinse and just rinse with the hair treatment. After rinsing with hair treatment, add a second coat and leave in for desired time.

Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel and welcome to my bathroom. So i'm pretty much starting here, because i wanted to create this video to help. Those of you who have purchased bellamy, hair extensions and wanting to make sure that you can get the most out of them because we know that they're not cheap. So i created this video and wanted to share with you some of the methods or techniques that i use and products that i've used to prolong my hair extensions. Now i ride or die by this method for not just my bellamy extensions, but some of my really really high quality hair extensions and it has worked for me uh perfectly and yeah. Let'S get started okay, so i have my hair extensions and here they are take a look. Hopefully it focuses it's ratty a little bit a little bit. I threw in some of my dark brown ones. I'Ve had those for maybe like five six months uh. I recently had a wedding and i used them, and i just curled them and used a ton of hairspray, so these definitely need to be watched um. What i'm going to do first is make sure make sure that i grab all of them by like the little track here. So i'm kind of just like putting them in between my fingers, making sure they're all straight down and there they're there and i'm going to comb it out a little bit so grab a brush all right! Sorry about that! So i'm going to grab a brush! I'M going to start at the ends, i'm just gon na, like gently comb. It like this as gentle as you can i mean if you're washing them, then they probably are pretty nappy but start from the bottom and then just work. Your way up so they're, nice and fluffy and ready to go um if you've had yours for longer or if this is your first time like trying to revive your extensions, it might be a little bit more ratty and that's fine. This process is supposed to help that so i'm just gon na go ahead and take this, let me make sure i'm missing something nope all right. I'M gon na take these straight right. There, okay, i'm just gon na aim this at the at the sink, all right. So we're going to take the extensions and we're just going to go ahead and stick them underneath the water and just get it completely saturated in water and then we're going to use um a smoothing technique and just smooth the water out of the hair. So we're going to completely saturate it and then smooth it out and we're just trying to get excess product all right. So we have the hair completely saturated in water. So i'm going to use uh avanti silicone mix, the shampoo to gently rinse it so that it's clean, so we've got the silicone mixed shampoo and i'm just going to get it all over the wet hair and just kind of lightly work it into the hair. Make sure that you're not lathering it like you would do your natural hair, just kind of swish it in the water and get all the yucky product in there. You can see all that hair spray and dirt, or whatever the hell. That is, it's all coming out of the hair, so make sure you're just wetting it and then smoothing it out. If you need to like work. The shampoo in do that, but the goal is to just lightly rinse it and get all the water in there and just get rid of all of the product. So right now we're just going to make sure that um we're just rinsing it. Okay, so here we've got the silicone mix, hair treatment, the bamboo hair treatment, and this is what we're going to use to condition the hair. So again, we're just going to be using the smoothing technique. That'S what i'm going to call it and we're just going to smooth the product into the hair work it in there make sure that you're not lathering it. It just got shampooed, so we just want to be careful and just smooth the product all over the hair work it in, and this is probably the easiest part of this technique. Um - and here i also kind of like to comb it out. If i feel like there are any kinks in it, and sometimes you can get that if the hair is really really ratty, so i just go ahead and comb it out with a hard bristled brush the same one. I used at the beginning of the film all right sorry for this weird angle, but just to recap: we just lightly rinsed it with the silicone mixed shampoo and then we went ahead and applied conditioner the bamboo silicone mix, hair treatment, conditioner and then we kind of Smoothed out some of the tangles that we got from like the rinse and everything so now: they're, nice and soft and silky. Here we go and it looks yummy okay, so we're going to go ahead and stick it in here. I just grabbed the plastic bag. So just any plastic bag and close it and yeah i'm gon na leave it here for probably an hour or two and just let it treat it um depending on. I don't really have a set amount of time that i do for all of my extensions. It just kind of depends on the state of the hair. I'Ve done it with hair. That is so bad that i just left it in for like a whole night and then rinse it the next day and it's beautiful. So i think an hour or two would be fine, but literally like if the hair is not that bad or if you really need it, you could probably get away with like 20 30 minutes, the the hair itself or i'm sorry. The product itself says. I think three minutes three yeah. It says leave on for three or more minutes, depending on the condition of the hair. So again i mentioned this in my last video, but this hair isn't real it's fake hair, so it's not going to absorb moisture the same, and so i'm going to go ahead and leave it in there for like an hour or two and it'll be beautiful. So i will come back after and i'll show you the condition of it after i've, rinsed it off or i'll just come in plug it back in when we're ready to rinse it off all right. So now we're ready to rinse it and i'm kind of just putting it under the faucet, letting the water run through it finger combing it a little bit. It'S going to be really soft and smooth and easy to do so. Just make sure that you're getting all of the hair treatment or the conditioner completely out of the hair and the smoothing technique is a must. Okay, so now you've reached the tail end of the video, and it's been a couple of days since i actually air dried. The hair i prefer to air dry, my hair um, just because it's just the best result that you get um as far as your hair being nice and soft. You can blow dry it if you want, but i would do it like on very, very low and only if you just don't have the time, because if you air dry, the hair, it's gon na come out so much better um. So yeah it's been a couple of days since that started the video i had a few things to do after and also it's pretty, it's getting pretty chilly out here in california, like 60s 50s at night, and the hair didn't actually dry overnight, as it usually does. So it went into the day a little bit. So that's why i'm filming the end of this video a little late and my hair is a little different. I changed my hair, like i changed my shirts, so that's that you'll probably be seeing me. You'Ll probably see that as a continuing thing throughout all my videos as i go ahead and post them. Okay, so here is the end result of the hair. Let me just get them in order all right here you go, so this is the hair. I haven't comb through it or anything. So it's doing some finger combing here, but it's very nice and soft and shiny and it's perfect but yeah, so it just needs to be flat ironed or you know curled whatever. If you want it stick straight, but this is the end result: it's nice, it's soft! You know and to be honest, like my hair, comes out like this every time i go through this process, no matter the state of the hair, so i feel like i found a winning technique and until i find another product that will give me this result, i'm Probably not ever going to change all right, so thank you for tuning in to this video. I really hope that it helped you out. Hopefully, it'll help bring your extensions back to you or very similar to how you received it when it came out of the box, enjoy your day enjoy your christmas. If i don't see you, if i don't post before that, and also i will leave links in the description box, where you can find some of the products that i use to bring my hair back to life, it'll work not only on your extensions but pretty much Any extensions that you have i've used it on like different extensions, different brands, and it's worked amazingly every time. Um and yeah so have um a very merry christmas, and let me know if you have questions and i'll do my best to answer them have a great day bye. You

Joe S: Is it possible to check if these hair extensions are 100% human hair? I don't believe it is because it turned into a rat's nest after 3 uses. Can they be sued for false advertising? I am pretty upset that they advertise like 3-6 months and others advertise 1 year but mine only lasted a few uses and I took good care of it.

sheliburgess: I was reading the ingredients on the mask and it looks like the mineral oil was the only oil I saw a quick glance. Do you think mineral oil in general is the best bet for extensions? Like if I wanted to use a daily oil, do you think that would be the best ingredient to look for in addition to the mask? Thank you for the great video I really needed it

Gwendolyn Dybas: how long do you wait to wash your extensions? I have had my bdllamis for a month now and I want to wash them because they just started tangling and matting together. I've tried the matrix brand but I wasn't impressed

Daisy Jusaino: I'm wondering why my 24 inch 360 gram hair tangle really bad and I'm so sad cause they where so expensive

Brianna W: What hair is your fav?
