Cute Hair Tutorial With Kinky Curly Clip-In Extensions

What'S up everyone's, my name is leah, and today i'm going to be showing you guys a quick little hair tutorial with some clip in curly extensions. So i have been on my natural hair journey for about three years now. I live for these clipping extensions from her. Given hair - and it's just awesome to be able to add some length to my hair until i can actually hopefully one day grow it out to this length for real. So if you guys saw my adore, you photo shoot. I actually wore this hairstyle for that. I'M definitely like not the most professional person when it comes to doing hair, but it photographed well, as you guys saw, and i still love to like wear this look out and about so. You could take a shower before this step, but i don't need to wash my hair, so i'm just gon na start off by wetting, my hair and i like to take a little spray bottle and just throw some leave-in conditioner in there. So it softens up your hair: okay, i'm gon na add some oil to moisturize my hair and some cream as well, because why not? Okay! So now you pretty much just repeat this: on the other side, this part would definitely be easier if i had just washed my hair. So you know if you want to detangle your hair in the shower um, to make this part easier on yourself. Then definitely go ahead and i can't find my edge brush hello edge rush. I'M gon na need you to come out come out wherever you are, because we do not apply for this. Ah, yes, yes, i i found it okay, oh. I thought this like long. Curly piece was a spider hanging from my head, like i was about to tweak. Okay, next, let's like get these edges laid, you know just late. I was gon na use my eco styler, but i was like no. No, no, let's use this shiny jam because i feel like the hold on this is a lot stronger to be real and i'm just gon na, like pretty good now to seal the deal on. My hair, underneath i'm basically just gon na, take my little afro puffs and try to make them as small as possible split it into two pieces twist. It boom not doing a very good job on this side, not sure, what's happening with that, i'm honestly just going to take another hair tie and just wrap it around. Again, that's going to be a nightmare to take out later. Okay. So now we have the base. Look she's, sleek and she's ready for her extensions. Okay. I love these kinky coily extensions from her given hair um. I keep them in this little bag that they came with, and i have not worn these in a while. You guys. Oh, it's been a minute since i done took the cat out the bag. Is that how you say it? I don't know, so i basically just have them all wrapped up in this scrunchie. I got the glam full set of extensions. This basically comes with 10 pieces. Literally 10 pieces of hair that will cover your entire head, or at least i mean they work for me. You know what i'm saying, so i basically do five and five. So it comes with two wefts that have five clips like this one, two wefts with four clips like this. It also comes with two wefts that have three clips on it. So yeah they kind of just go smaller and smaller in length, and then it comes with four wefts that has two clips like this. I like to start with the ones that have like two clips at first and start with that on the inside and then, as i work my way out, i use the ones that have more clips, aka, more hair. So basically, what i'm gon na do is take all of the hair and lay them out with like the right group. You know what i mean so i'll put all the ones that have two clips in one pile and then all the ones that have three clips. In one pile four clips in one pile, etc, just so they're organized. I know it doesn't really look like ideal right now, but i think it's super quick to fix. So basically, what i like to do with these is, i just spray it with some water right and my water is saturated with a little bit of leave-in conditioner, but i'm actually just going to take some more of the leave-in conditioner and put that on the hair And then i'm going to take some oil, oh y'all, i'm literally about to do the loc method, which is basically just like some type of lotion, an oil and a cream, and so this is exactly what i do on my natural hair. I do have an instagram video, where i show you guys all of the products that i use and i'll have that linked down below and then. Finally, i would just take my cream and put that on top, so, as you can see, i haven't even used a brush or anything to brush it out right and it looks super good, barely any of it shed um. I do i do like brushing through with these because it does make it like. You know, as detangled as possible, but one thing to keep in mind is: if you do use a brush, there's gon na be more shedding. So then, i'm just gon na unclip the clips - and i start by clipping the first one just like directly on to the to the bun like right in the middle of it just clip it right on there cool. You know what i'm actually gon na make this faster for myself and take both of them and do this at the same time. Yes we're getting there, so i pretty much just move from the smallest to the largest. So now that i'm done with the ones with two clips, i'm gon na move into my two wefts that have three clips each. I really like doing these this part with both of them together like doing each one individually, is definitely a waste your time. So for this one with three, i like to wrap this one right around the base of the bun. You know, honestly, you guys, honestly, you could stop right here. You could really stop right here, especially because, since all of the clips are wrapped around the bun, you can't see any of the extensions really do you see what i'm saying. What i'm about to do next makes it to where you can still see the extensions um which i don't really care about, but i know some people will be like um. I see your clip-ins for me, i'm just like. Obviously this isn't my hair. So if you see a clip, i'm not mad about it because bottom line is, it looks cute. I know some people are like what are you talking about if you, if you want to just leave it like this, the clips won't show you could even add like a scrunchie, and that would like elevate. That would really make it to where your clips won't show. But if you want the thickest look possible, which is what i was kind of doing, because i was really going for like an editorial type. Look in the adore. You shoot, then just keep going says like we gon na use it all. What okay low-key, okay, brushing these longer pieces together, kind of messy now that you're at the bigger pieces, and basically do these like a little bit in front of where the bun is. You know so the bun starts here, so i'm just going to take my clip like right in there. My hair is really thick, so i try not to get too much hair under the clip, because if i do do that then it'll just unclip like that's one thing is like these clips aren't super like the strongest clips i ever did see, especially if you have Thick hair, which would make sense if you're getting these extensions so yeah just keep that in mind. That'S what we love to see it just keeps getting bigger. Oh girl, we on the last piece okay. So this is the final piece. Super long literally has five clips on it. Hopefully, by now you guys kind of get the point. I'Ve just been doing the same thing over and over and just kind of layering these pieces on top of each other, oh y'all, low-key. Some of these pieces are shed being they're shedding. So beware: okay, don't say i didn't warn you don't tell me, i didn't warn you, but i'm telling you guys. I'Ve never had curly kinky clipping extensions that don't shed like. I would be scared if none of the pieces came out. The one downfall about this style is like once you go from past the bun and you start clipping it like on your head. That'S when, like the clips are going to show, do you see what i'm saying the clips show you guys these products from aussie smells so good like the miracle. Curls collection, girl, okay, guys we're almost done so now. We'Re gon na move into the final touches. We'Re gon na move into the aspects that really just seal the deal that make you look like a bad, which is the ultimate goal: right: um, okay, so i'm gon na take some gel again being really od with the gel. You know what i think we can do to cover up this mess. This extension clip mess. What you can do is grab a piece from the bottom and then you just take that and wrap it around something's light. That'S nice see that. So that's what the difference of it looks like see this side, you can like see where the clip kind of started now for the fun part. One thing that i did for the adore, you shoot that i thought was so dope was. I did this little kind of zigzag, rainbow bobby, pin, look, and i have so many different clips that i love. So really you can do anything with this, like you could throw on like these two clips or something these big clips just like one on one on each side, but i kind of want to do the layered colorful look again, so i'm going to show you guys How i did it? Okay, so i kind of just freestyled this part. To be honest, you basically just take a bunch of colored bobby pins and just like kind of mix it up. You know this part is definitely like a whole lot of trial and error. Okay, there we have it kind of hard honestly. Now, i'm just going to take a few more bobby pins to secure the pieces that i wrapped around. I think the way to tie this all together would be just to to do the final edge, like you know, to do the final a little bit of this girl. Okay. So this is the finished. Look. I love doing my hair like this. Oh, my gosh, you guys, hopefully it looks good from the back. I honestly never know what it looks like from the back and like feels like it looks kind of sh honestly like me, touching it i'm like. Oh i'm scared. I'M scared! This is the finished. Look.
