How To Take Care Of Kinky Curly Yaki Clip-In Extensions For Natural Hair

Hey y'all, so I've shown you how to install and style kinky curly yaki clippings, but I have yet to show you how to properly take care of them today. I'Ll show you just that. So if you're interested stay tuned, first we're gon na cleanse the hair to keep the hair moisturized. I like to co, wash the hair more often than shampoo it every time it needs to be cleaned. I like to treat the hair as if it were my own, because the texture is so similar to mine now I'll start detangling the hair, while co washing to prep it for conditioning using a wide tooth comb to detangle from ends up to the roots. The majority of the tangles will come out next I'll condition. The hair. I find it helpful to use a deep conditioner rather than a regular rinse out conditioner, since we already Co wash the hair. Any deep conditioner should work just fine, but I've been using no vex with Brazilian keratin, because it's formulated to keep frizz at bay and to keep the hair smooth. Then I use a Denman brush later to establish definition and smoothness now I'll rinse, the hair. For a few minutes with cool water to seal the cuticle, now I'm squeezing the excess water out with a microfiber towel or you can use the cotton t-shirt now for the most important step. I'M gon na Shengo with eco styler gel or you can use any firm holding gel of your choice. This is going to make your curls pop, creating whole definition and shine. This is also going to allow the hair to blend in with your own. I'M gon na. Allow the hair to air dry overnight until it's 100 % dry, when the hair is 100 % dry you're gon na need to break the gel cast. I just do this by spritzing a little oil sheen or you can use a serum, and then I sandwich the hair in between the palms of my hands and run my palms along the length of the hair. This is gon na soften the hair, but yet it's gon na keep its definition. Just don't make the mistake of finger combing through the hair. This is gon na cause frizz.
