How To Make A Wig With Clip-In Extensions

Hi Kurlies! I’m back! In this video, I show you how to make a wig with your Kurly Klips clip-in extensions. It’s super easy! No arts & crafts required. This method is great for those who A) have a sensitive scalp, B) don’t want their clip-ins to come in contact with their hair, and/or C) have very short hair. Two sets of the Mermaid Fro were used to achieve this style. Thank you for the hair tips, ladies! Keep them coming!

Hi Curly's its Lana, and, with winter approaching, I thought it would be a good idea to show you how to make a wig with your curly Clips clip in extensions. It'S super easy shout out to my beautiful curly, Dana from the YouTube channel essence of me and jasmine for giving me this awesome idea. Okay, guys, I'm back! First, I'm going to take this wig cap that I bought from the beauty supply store and I'm just gon na place it over my head, leaving a little bit of leave out next comes the mesh cap. Again, I got this at the beauty, supply store and basically we're going to snap the clips on top of that see how they just connect perfectly. The key is to not actually let the clips touch your hair. This is perfect if you have a sensitive scalp, if you're really trying to protect this style with clippers step 3 apply your curly Clips, like you, normally would you're snapping the clips on top of the mesh cap. It'S so easy and your hair is 100 % protected. You know if you want to put a little oil on your hair before you put on the wig cap. That'S totally up to you. You can also bobby pin the wig caps in place, but for this video I didn't do it and they were still pretty secure and finally style the hair as you see fit. I don't want it so much in my face today. So I'm just going to kind of pin it back and concentrate on hiding those clips up top, but you can get as creative as you want. If you don't want any leave out check out the zero leave out video, I already have posted you can do that with the wig caps as well, and that's it guys super easy and it blends like a dream and even when you tuck it, this hair is Not going anywhere, it's pretty secure, got ta, love that so, whether you have super short hair or you're, transitioning or you're, just looking for a really great protective style. This is the way to go. The cool thing about curly clips is that they're super versatile, even when you're wearing them as a wig. So this is a half up, half down pony with the mermaid fro, it's so easy to style, even when you have really short hair. All you need is some bobby pins and you're good to go seriously guys. Why buy a wig when you can do so much with curly clips? All it takes is a little imagination, thanks for watching and I'll talk to you guys later, bye,

Bianca A: Oh my god, I am so happy I found this. I spent 300$+ on clips ins, and when I wore them at work I had the worst migraine, it was honestly so bad . Thank you for this

Sandie Weldon: Omg thank you for this video! I am experiencing hair loss and my hair is too thin to use my clip in extensions. This is great!!! Can't wait to try it!

Chaka Khanian: Great job! I like the look of these clip ins because they stay TRUE to the black woman's natural texture. Lovely lady!

Daisy Cooper: this is soooo much better than just a clip on.Thats why I like Jessica Simpson or cap based clip ons. With plain clip ons somehow comes uneven,I think that's the best best idea.Thank you

AFurryToon: This looks so natural and beautiful.

Inspector Gadget: THIS also works for those with long..collarbone length hair!!

TheWashAndGoChick: Would you mind showing how it looks when you then take it off at night? I would like to know if you can then take the mesh cap wig in one piece or if you have to remove each clip in again

Essence of Me: Great job! :)

~Daphne Amy's World~!: Awesome ❤

broken foxx: I know this is four and a half years later, but I'm wondering if this would work with other clip ins, where I could essentially make a look I want using a mesh cap like you did here. I'm just unsure of how I would do it - if it'd be better to do it with the cap on a form/holder or on my head. I get terrible migraines (24/7) and I can't always tolerate actually having the extensions clipped in, so this is an idea I've been thinking about for a while. Plus it would allow me to vary my length easily on days I felt like putting in the effort. Thanks for taking the time with my comment. I think your idea is awesome and I'm glad you found a way to make it work for you!!

Terrell Spencer: Amazing idea.

Darlyn Emedoro: girl you rock this video deserves more likes

Lilianna: I knew there had to be away besides trying to search for a cornrow wig cap online. Thank you lord I have a super sensitive scalp. You're awesome

Le streghe wiccan Di Lilith: So beautiful ⭐️

Maija Adel: This is so genius omg

LovelyRainbow Lol: Gorgeous

Shanerica Hall: Can I please have link for the no leave out video? U given me a great idea for what ima do for the summer and bday, thank u

Sailor Moon: Gosh!! Where did you get those cute glasses?

TheNaturalT: Once the curls are brushed out and then washed, will the curls come back?

Hair and Life: This saved my lifeee

Kimmie88: how many bundles were used?

Grace Clover: Will a clip in like this fall off if I’m running or doing other physical activity like weight lifting? I want to do a big chop because my hair is so damaged and Idk how to take care of it. I go to a school with literally 4 other black people in it so I’m scared to wear my short hair to school when I cut it. I want to get clip ins like this but I’m afraid when I go to p fit and run and lift that it will fall of. I don’t want to embarrass my self

Elfleda Olu-Fubara 601: Can u make a video on how to pack this up. Pls reply. Like if u agree

Eileen Taylor: How many sets are you wearing?

chantii789: y are kurly klips so ridiculously expensive though?
