What do your curls represent? Maybe they’re your history. Maybe they’re part of your heritage. They’re certainly a HUGE part of what makes you, YOU. We asked 6 Bebonia Babes how they feel about their curls and recorded their responses. They shared adolescent stories of trying to tame their curls into submission, of wishing they had straight hair, and then ultimately, what led them to love their beautiful curls and how they feel about their curls today. This month, we want everyone to know that curl-love IS self-love. Watch the video and let us know in the comments—what do your curls mean to you?

What was it like growing up with curly hair, i was in high school trying to figure out how to style. My hair, i went through, as i'm sure many curly girls do a straight face. People would always ask me like if they could straighten my hair or if they could brush it like at school. No, you can't straighten my hair. I like to keep my curls. The way they are straight is always what you see out in the streets or people actually with curly hair like to straighten it, so i just always wanted to gel it hair spray it get it out of the way causes least amount of attention to myself. Sometimes it feels you wake up and you're like oh, my curls look great today they're gorgeous and then some days you wake up and you're. Like my curls look awful no matter what i do i didn't know, i had curly hair, so i would brush it out and it would just be big and frizzy. I hated my hair for the longest part of my life and there are going to be days when your hair does not want to comply with you or or do things that you want to do. But i think that's also part of the fun of it. Is that you know you learn how to be flexible and and listen to your hair and listen to what it wants to do that day, and that means that it's got to go in a bun, it's going into fun. Now i love them and i never straighten them. Never in my life have i ever wished. I had straight hair. I think that curly hair is just as much work as when you straighten your hair. It'S different because you're accepting your natural texture. What does your hair symbolize ooh for me, my hair symbolizes, my femininity, my heritage, being a caribbean woman? How would you describe your curls now is vivacious, it's lively! It'S fun! It'S temperamental, relentless resilient, confident, fierce sexy and a little playful. What does your hair say about you? Three things my hair says about me that i'm bubbly, i'm feisty and i'm powerful. My curls are unique to me. The way i handle them is unique to me. What i do with them is unique to me and i feel like they're, just a part of who i am now. It also holds a lot of my identity because of being multiracial and the way that that comes out really comes out of my hair. The mixture of the of the culture that i come from, uh there's good days, there's bad days at the end of the day. It'S my hair, it's my thing. It'S what makes me stick out in the crowd and i just learned to love the living crap out of it, and i wouldn't have it any other way. I love my curly hair. It gives me a lot of confidence. My curly hair is my identity. It'S who i am, i wear it proud i own it it's a part of what makes me special and while it can drive me crazy, sometimes i think that it's a beautiful relationship that i've learned to really appreciate and love. No, it makes you unique. It'S not like everyone else, and your curls are who you are and they're part of you and they're beautiful, absolutely love what i have and thanks mama thanks for giving me what i've got.

Ami Fleming: Its beautiful the messages your trying to send but start selling non dyed, natural curly hair. The 22" dark brown curly hair extensions i just bought dont curl. They dont bounce. My sister said it looked dead and fried. Like jellyfish tentacles. Its terrible that you all dont offer any refunds or exchanges once the seal is broken because let me tell you. Yall chose the best hair for the tester peice which still didnt curl. The rest of the hair is 10x worse than the test strand. It suck that there still isnt a real curly girl extentions. Just more permed, dyed hair. Dont spend your money girls... 300 dollars down the drain

Juan Burke: Keep it up dude. I am suprised that you haven't researched P-R-O-M-O-S-M!!!
