Long Natural Curly Hair In Minutes! Better Length Hair Review! (Curly Clip Ins Extensions)

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, my name is maya and for today's video i'm going to be bringing you a review on some curly hair extensions that is totally out of my norm. I don't normally do anything with weave wigs protective braids. None of that. I just normally like to wear my hair out and curly, so this is completely out of my comfort zone, but i always said that i wanted to wear clip-ins extensions like curly ones, for my wedding, because i'm not straightening my hair for my wedding um, whatever the Wedding is i'm not going to be straightening my hair and if my hair isn't long enough, then i would definitely want to wear long long enough to where i wanted to be um, because i want my hair to be like, maybe like right here on wedding day. I always said i wanted to wear like textured or curly extensions, so whenever this brand reached out to me the brand is called better length hair and they specialize in textured and curly extensions. They reach out to me and they wanted to send me some hair and at first i was a little hesitant because i said you know i don't really do much with weave. But then i thought about my future plans of wearing clip-ins for my wedding and i was like you know what why not - and i feel like you guys - might want to have an alternative to just kind of zoozing up your your normal style. So for today's video i'm going to be showing you how i applied these clip-ins, so let's go ahead and jump right in and see how this goes. Okay, guys! So here is the pretty satin back that you get with your the extensions come inside of it. It'S really pretty, and i love that you're able to just carry your extensions inside of it. Here are the extensions prior to me styling them. I do go in with the briogeo co-wash, it's the curl, charisma, co-wash and the main choice mousse, and in this clip you can see me washing the hair. What i do is just apply some of the co-wash and i detangle the hair with my fingers, and i also use a brush as well, and then i go in with the mousse right on top. You can either style the hair with your fingers or you can use a brush, and this is just me, air drying them on a towel or a napkin, and in this clip you can see that i had a little shedding all right guys. So again, this is better length, hair. It comes in this cute bag. Here we're gon na go ahead and style the hair. This is a fresh wash and go. I used inner sense for this wash and go um. It always gives me really good results. So i used it for this. It gives me shiny, elongated curls, so i thought it would be perfect for this. Before i show you the hair, you do get like a pamphlet here. It says better length, 100 virgin human hair. So that's awesome. Um textured extensions for black women uh, so it gives you instructions in here. It gives you instructions how to maintain it and how to care for it. It says in the morning spray lightly, with water or with your favorite, liquid leave-in conditioner um, to reduce tangling and shedding. You can do a co-wash, which is what i did. I did a co-wash and then i used a mousse to rake the curls through. But here is what you get in here, so you get that pamphlet and you also get like a needle and some extra clips, which i will be using the needle, because i don't even know what you would do with the needle. I am so fresh off of. I don't really know much about weebs and wigs, so i'm like the perfect person to show you how easy or difficult it may be, because i don't normally do this. So if i can apply these clip-ins literally anyone can, because i don't know what i'm doing so. I did see some reviews where they did the co-washing. So that's exactly what i did. I co-washed the hair and then i applied the mousse and i let it air dry, some people diffuse, but i let it air dry and you do. This is a whole bundle right here. Whenever the representative from the company reached out to me - and she said i was going to get one bundle. That was one of my questions i was like is one bundle gon na be enough to cover my hair, and she said yes, one bundle will be enough, so we will test that out today. You see if it's enough, you get 10 clips and they vary in sizes. So let me show you so here is one of the longer ones right here and, as you can see, it has the longer one has four clips, so it's super duper easy all. You do is snap it, so these need to be open like this before you apply it onto your hair, okay. So this is a beautiful texture and we are going to go ahead and stop talking and go ahead and apply this on here. This is a fresh wash and go so it's still a little bit crunchy. I probably should have gotten some oil and kind of gotten the gel cast out, but we're gon na go ahead and apply this and see what we're working with and i'm probably gon na end up kind of also making it not frizzy but kind of pulling these Curls apart too, the hair is so soft, oh my goodness, so soft it smells good. Well because i applied those products to 10 clips. I guess i'm going to start with some of the longer ones in the back. This one is probably gon na need to go across the middle of my hair yeah. This is probably gon na go in the middle of it, since it's like the widest on this area. So wish me luck. They sent me over the 3b3c um texture and it's called the natural color which the natural color looks a little bit darker than my hair color. So we'll see how this goes, let's go ahead and jump in also. I failed to mention these extensions. I got this 16 since my hair is short, and i think the 16 will look a little bit more natural for me, since my hair is shorter, so we're gon na go ahead and just pull this up and we're gon na work at the back. First again, my hair is slightly crunchy, because it's a fresh wash and go. This is probably a little bit too much hair. I don't know we're just gon na go with the flow okay and again. This is my first time ever doing this. If i can do this, then if i can do this and do it correctly, then yeah we'll see, let's go in the back with the three now two things: i've seen people do it like they clip it in this way for just the back section only, but I'M a little bit nervous about that, so, let's just apply it the way that i've seen it most commonly so we're just going to put it back here and snap it okay. I do love that this does seem very, very secure now. Some questions that i've seen on other people's video is, if you can sleep in these, apparently you can but, like i said i don't do protective styles um. I don't do protective styles, so i'm not gon na be sleeping in these. This is probably just gon na. Be like a if i just want my style for a day or so. If i just want it to look, you know if i just want that look for the day, but i'm definitely not going to be sleeping in these, but i'm sure you can um. People will probably ask if you can swim in these more than likely. Yes, it's human hair, so i can only imagine then we're gon na take the four and lay it right across and again just snap it so we'll go ahead and go up. What'S another question that i was seeing, can you sleep in? It was one question i kept seeing, um, which i don't know. If i recommend i don't know how comfortable these are. If you were to sleep in them so far, i've just used two clips and already what i can definitely suggest um. You want to make sure if you are rocking a fresh wash and go number one make sure it's 100 dry and number two. I honestly would suggest hair that doesn't have too much of a gel cast. My hair has a major gel cast. I wish i was in front of an actual mirror, so i can look at how it's looking i'm. What i'm probably gon na do is go more on the inside too and just add more clippings um, but we're gon na continue to just move up and up and we're gon na add a baby one. Oh wait and let's add this one to the part. I just did, let's make sure that they are unsnapped. Should we go right down the middle guys, so my hair is so much shorter than the um clip in so it kind of makes it look like it's layers a little bit. Let'S make sure it's covering everything. So i still have like four clip-ins left okay, so this is the final look right here. I feel really really pretty. With this hair, i feel gorgeous with my natural hair too. Don'T get it twisted um, like i said all i wear is my natural hair um, but this looks really really pretty, and maybe you know i might wear this um, maybe like a special event. My boyfriend's graduation, something like that. If i just want to judge up my natural look yeah, so this looks really really good and natural. It blends so well with my natural hair texture with this wash and go so funny story. Is i had to get help from my cousin because i you know knocked on her door and i was like how do i look and she was like um. Let me help you with blending, so she helped me. We put some mousse back onto um the hair, because the hair had gotten a little bit too, like frizzy wavy, and it wasn't enough curl action going on. Like my hair, most of my hair is curly. I do have wavy and coily pieces in my hair too, but the majority of it is curly, so the hair needs to look more curly, so i can match my hair texture and it is perfect um. So i just use some mousse on my hair and it's really really shiny. Like super super shiny here, i use mousse to just blend everything in a little bit more um. I ended up using a lot of the clip-ins, but i think i have two more yeah. I just didn't use two of them, so i used eight clip-ins. Contrary to my initial uh reaction of thinking that one bundle was not going to be enough, it definitely is enough. All you need is one bundle. You don't need to um to get super full gorgeous hair and guys. So i found out the tip about putting the clip in at the very back side, not sideways, but upside down like this. Definitely do that because it really does help with making that section. Look. Blendable looking easy, like it's coming straight from the scalp, so at the nape of your neck, don't put it in like this! Put it in like this hook it under like that and then clip it so it'll look super duper natural from behind two. As you can see, looks really really good from from the back too um, but of course you know we're facing this way, so i want to have it more this way, but it's so full. I love it smells good. Again, it's 16 inches 3b 3c hair about the hair typing and figuring out, which one matches guys, if you normally wear your hair in a twist out, then go with which style will match your twist out. If you normally wear hair in a braid out, go with whichever texture matches your braid out texture, if you normally wear a wash and go like, i do get the one that looks most like your natural hair, don't be going all in. Will my hair? Is this? My hair is that, should i get that? No, what does what style? Do you normally wear? That'S the hair texture. You get, don't go all into the hair typing and all that. No just what is your hair going to look like okay and then you decide which one you want which texture you want to get, but this um 3b 3c looks amazing. It really blends in with my hair really nicely it's very shiny. This hair is super duper. Soft and i'll do like a follow-up video and let you guys know how how the hair is like, maybe a month or two from now, see how uh ways up but um guys. I'M actually really loving this, and this is coming from a person that i don't like wigs. I don't like weaves, i don't like um braided styles. I am saying that i actually love this, so that's pretty huge um looks so natural, like. I can't even believe it. I can't stop looking at it um but yeah that is it guys for this video.
