Hey guys today, I'm going to show you how to clip in hair extensions with short hair, the hair I'm going to be using is by irresistible me, and I have a total of 10 clips. This includes one for peace, five to peace, three two pieces and two one-piece clips. So first I'm sure everybody already knows that you're supposed to part your hair, but instead of partying it's super low at the nape of my neck, I'm just going to part it super high. This is going to go above my ear. The reason why I'm parting it so high is because my hair is so short. If I were to apply the clips at the nape of my head, then the I would not have enough clips to cover the top, so I'm just going to part it above my ear and then just brush all of the hair at the bottom. Up into a little bun, you you so the first set of Clips I'm going to be using are the four piece and I'm just going to place that in E Center and then clip it down. If you have thinner or finer hair, I would suggest that you tease the roots, but since I am 13 leaves post relaxer, I don't really need to tease it or anything. I can just clip it and just keep moving. So I'm just going to go ahead and separate a another section to apply the next set of Clips after I parted I like to take a nice hard brush and brush the hair down. I already had oil in my hair, so when I brush the hair down, it sticks to the extension and does not show the next set of Clips. I'M going to be taking are these three clips, so I'm just going to take it on one side and then take the other set of clips on the other side, equaling up to the size of the four clip. So basically I it's kind of like. I have two sets of four Clips except the two three pieces: equal six pieces. If you know what I mean, so I'm just going to continue to repeat the process of parting, my hair, brushing it down and clipping in the clips, and then I will be back to explain how I do the front. You you you, you you so now on the front, I have a two clip, I'm just going to clip that on the side where I parted it and just keep brushing it down as I get towards the top. I do start flattering the hair so that it won't be so poofy and so that my natural hair can match the clip ends. So I'm just going to clip it in and brush it all down and then start flattening, and you also want to make sure that all of your hair is laying down flat. It really does hurt your hair. You can rip it out if you apply the clips and not all of your hair is facing the same way, so make sure that your hair is laying down flat before you clip in the clip ends and also do not clip the clip ends at the roots Of your hair, because you can rip it out that way, clip it in maybe like a centimeter or two down from your roots. That way, it will be attached to the hair and not your roots, so for the hairstyle that I'm going for it's usually a middle part, but because I have a widow's peak to where the front of my hairline isn't completely straight or even I'm just going to Do it a little off to the side, so I'm just going to keep parting my hair and clipping in the clips. So far, I have left to two pieces into one piece clips, so I'm just going to go ahead and clip the first two. The last two piece in the back just to cover up that last section of hair that I have showing in the back and this flat iron that I'm using is nothing special. It'S one that I got about six years ago. When Twilight came out and they had these straighteners - I guess promoting the movie. So if you guys have a better straightener, then just use that you so as I get towards the front, I'm going to go in with the one clips, as you can see, I'm not applying it too close to my hairline, I'm going to apply it a little Bit back that way, when the wind blows or when I try and blend my real hair with the extensions, you won't be able to see the clips. So just remember that when you're doing that, don't apply it too close to your hairline. Depending on how you part, your hair is the way that your clips are going to be in so right here. I am doing kind of like a L shape with this two piece, and I don't normally do that, but that's just the way that I parted it and applied it this time. So you don't have to use the exact parting method or placement of the clip ends. You can place that, however, you want. This is just showing you guys how I actually applied it to make it look as natural as possible. So I'm down to my single clip and I'm just going to do the same thing and clip it a centimeter away from my hairline just so I don't get the fakeness or you can see the clips after I try and smooth my hair down you you to Keep the flyaways down I'm going to be using my Tresemme hair spray, as well as this regrow oil. I'M just going to apply a little bit of that oil in the palms of my hands, rub it together and then just smooth down the hair and then I'm gon na just spray, the hairspray right on top I'm not going to spray too much, because I don't Want the hair to get hard or anything, I'm just gon na literally spray, the top layer which is my natural hair and then smooth it down with a brush so that everything is laying down flat. So this front part is the part where I was talking about where I had the widow's peak. So I'm just going to take my eco style gel in a toothbrush and just smooth that over to the side, so that that piece of hair is just not sitting out there and I'm just going to do that. To kind of mimic. The other side and just smooth the same piece of hair down to the other side of the part. So now I'm just going to go through and flat on the hair and I'm gon na bump the ends. You can't really see it because the hair is so long and I'm not standing up or anything, but I'm just going to go ahead and straighten it and make sure my natural hair is blended very nicely with the clip ends you so this is it guys? This is the final look with all of my clippings in. I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. Please give it a thumbs up if you would like more hair tutorials, and if this clip video really helped you. I know a lot of women have short hair and look for videos where girls are applying clip ins with short hair. So I really hope that this helped.
